(NOTE: This story doesn't take place within the actual Lighting stories.)

The home world of the Lighting Squad - Terra-glacies is dead. The leader Scalor has to make a dire decision so that his race will survive. Scalor leads the MOLLUSK crushers in an attempt to man the last ship off their desolate home, a ship known as The Endurance Ranger.
Meanwhile, Lord Jaggor and his MOLLUSK bot army have found a new world ready for takeover, and plan to invade it with a ship called The MOLLUSK Cruiser. As both groups race towards a space portal to the new world, they must fight for their lives when the true end of the war is near.
