When the gates are opened

There once was a young boy.

He came from a family of scholars, who trusted only in science.

They didn't believe in chance, and so every moment of every day of every week of life was planned out and calculated to the last moment.

But the young boy did not feel as strongly for the way they perceived life. A life with no mystery, no fantasy, no faith, was not the kind of life the boy wished to live. He wanted more excitement from life, and it wasn't going to be found in a scientific textbook, or a mathematical equation. Little did he know, that his mystery, his fantasy, his faith, would soon be all too real. And what he would soon experience, would change him forever.
