//-------------------------------------------------------// Equestrian Histories: Sombra and Golden Feather -by DevlinSyo- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// The Start //-------------------------------------------------------// The Start         A warm busy day in the Crystal Empire, all crystal ponies ran around in circles trying to find the best seat the could find, the reason way it was the day the smartest unicorn from Equestrias Unicorn School. Then the room became silent as King Ruby trotted on the balancy and got ready to speak, "Thank you my dear ponies." He exlaimed "Today as you all know our unicorn friend Sombra decied to live in the empire for as long as his studys take him. So my wife Queen Saphire and I thought it would be perfect to invite Sombra to our Empire and now he will live here!"        Then all the ponies stopped and stared at a dark grey unicorn with strawberry coloured eyes, he stopped, then the ponies became quite again as the unicorn spoke "Thanks for inviting me here. After getting the invite I was thinking about coming here since ponies here are so facinating I decide to move here. So thanks again everypony." Sombra said, then he bowwed in respect while thanking all the ponies. All the crystal ponies cheered and soon Sombra was handed a badge and it said *Thank You!* Sombra bowwed once again, and waved while walking back in side.           After 2 weeks of living the Empire, Sombra always walked around the castle site seeing. One lovley Friday Sombra decide to walk more around the Empire than walking just around the castle. After an hour of exploring town square he decided to retun to his room at the castle, but Sombra stopped at stared at a crystal pony with a beatiful purple mane with light blue coat he teleported to her trying to say something smart but still ask her out he mummbled and soon she smiled. The pony put her crystal hoof on sombra's mouth and smiled "Hello, I'm Golden Feather." she said "If you want to become friends just nod and go to the Crystal Café at 5:30." Then Sombra nodded and smiled "Great see you there!" Golden Feather said and walked elegantly away.      At 5:25 Sombra arrived at Crystal Café and ordered him self a Crystal Cake and ordered a Crystal Muffin for the pony hopeing she would enjoyed the small little gift. Then at 5:30 the pony walked in looking for the talented unicorn and spotting him in a corrner near the window she spotted a small box with a rose and a muffin across the table for her she trotted to him. Sombra turned around and sorta shocked the pony as she didn't expect the outcome, while catching her balance Sombra crabbed the chair and helpped her get up.        "Hello, I'm Sombra, I'm glad to meet you Golden Feather." Sombra said while he tried not to make a fool of him self.     "Hi Sombra, I am happy to have met you as well." Golden said while smiling       Sombra handed her the gift box hoping she would exept it and would like to go out again. "What's this?" Golden Feather asked with a clueless look on her face "A gift?" Sombra nodded and pushed it to her. Golden Feather gasped in shock of most lovley diamond necklace with a heart shape and with the name *Golden Feather* incrusted on it. "Oh Sombra thank you! I love it." Golden Feather said with a large happy grin while she teared up a bit. Soon after 3 days of thinking Golden Feather said "Yes" to Sombra for a second date. Six weeks have passed and Sombra and Golden Feather were in a great relationship of love and Sombra decided that his stay in the Empire would be expanded over time.                  Untill the war began against the Crazy ex-Ponies and the Equestrian Society. //-------------------------------------------------------// Dark Magic //-------------------------------------------------------// Dark Magic                 Soon as time began to rise Sombra was 10 long days before the Empires king and was ready for action. One day Sombra walked by a narrow ally near Golden Feather and herd a small pep from the dark ally, feeling worried Sombra slowly trotted in the dark ally trying not to make a sound. Then a small scream flew it sounded like a mare he thought, Sombra ran faster and faster reaching the big corner and seeing a small light upheld he teleported the small distance and saw his Golden Feather and a small Filly being attacked by a pony with a black mane and light blood eyes.       "Somepony please help me!" Golden Feather yelled while trying to hold back the pony as she protected the filly.     "nopony will save you give up now girl... the end is near..." The pony said while covering his self he gave a laugh in the air.        "STOP! You are wrong sir!" Sombra stepped out and said bravely, he smiled at the filly. "Now leave her alone, if I catch you again within the next 11 days I will have you arrested for assault!" Sombra exclaimed with a disproving look on his face.     "heh he heh, no ill make sure you won't stop me foolish pony" then the pony revealed it was a unicorn and quickly teleported out.        Then as Golden Feather helped the filly her coat quickly turned dark and shady like she lost the love in her mind, Sombra gasped at what happened he gently grabbed  her hoof as he hopped she would regain her balance sadly it was what had happened. Sombra stormed through the Empire with the weaken pony on his back as soon as he was finished signing Golden Feather in the hospital he was told to leave at once by a Crystal nurse and was told to come back tomorrow without any reason.        Soon Sombra started to walk around the empire for a little before returning to the Crystal Castle for a nice warm dinner. Then by walking near that ally he saw that strange and harmful unicorn he then knew what had to be done, after sneaking into the hospital Sombra left a note for Golden Feather to read when she finally wakes.     Sombra trotted to the Crystal Library as he hoped Golden Feather would be wake when he returns. Sombra entered the dimly lit building and walked over to the front desk. "Um, miss? May I take a look around?" Sombra asked. The mare stared at him and nodded lightly.     The unicorn ran towards the magic and spells area, and began looking though books. Soon he came upon a dark black leather book. Sombra opened it up and was soon drawn to a page labeled 'Dark Magic Spells'. He tilted his head, "Dark Magic? What is this?" Sombra questioned himself out loud. When he was about to close the book, it magically flipped over to one spell. Sombra was intrusted by that one spell. It was a spell to make him a powerful unicorn, with the magic of an alicorn god. Soon Sombra activated the spell for it to be special, to help the kingdom and Golden. Before he could use it properly, a blast of magic threw him off and the magic busted out of him. He stood up and looked at the book as the page with that one spell was burned by the magic blast.    Sombra looked up and saw a unicorn with a flowing black mane and a red curved horn, Sombra's eyes widened as the unicorn looked just like him, more like that unicorn in the ally way. The look-alike unicorn chuckled in darkness as he stared at Sombra. The green outline in his eyes and purple ooze disturbed Sombra a bit. "Well..." He chuckled out, "You will become what I am soon enough my friend..." and with that the evil unicorn was gone... //-------------------------------------------------------// This Ends Now! //-------------------------------------------------------// This Ends Now!         After six long happy weeks of the second cutest pony couple in the Crystal Empire was BIG! Sombra and Golden Feather felt so happy and joyed to be together for a hole month and 2 weeks. Soon Sombra was called into a meeting with King Ruby, Sombra felt worried and was afraid the King would be furious with him since was dating and not just foucused on his studys. On the day of the meeting Sombra walked in the room feelind worried and brave as he walked through the doors the seeing about 14 other ponies who were not as smart and confident as him the ponies were shaking and scared if they were in trouble and might be thrown into the dungon for not fixing the roofs on 3 houses or never came to work for 12 days. King Ruby walked in the room and stomped to get all the ponies to calm down. Sombra stayed in the back as the other ponies pushed him to back row. Sombra used a hear spell to at least listen to the King.     "My dear ponies" The King said "Our kindom will be under attack soon and as you know our solidgers were killed in our last war and we must form more! So we will not fight now instead I will put up a shield for our protection."   Sombra thought to himself (What? We just can't hide now!) Sombra spoke up "What the hell?! Is hiding the best Idea? What if we get attacked again and we don't know it we should destroy them while we have the damn chance!" Somba yelled      Then all the ponies turned to Sombra in shock as nopony has ever yelled at the King. As Sombra got ready to leave King Ruby stopped him by one loud shout "STOP SOMBRA! I mean no..."  The King corrected himself. "Sombra you have a good point, We must protect our ponies for love and harmony" The King bowwed to Sombra as Sombra did to him on the day he had arrived. Sombra stopped and turned around, he quickly thought about his answer and nodded his head to make a *Yes* look.          Soon after 1 week of training the only ponies to fight was the King and Sombra while Queen Saphire held a sertain pegasus pony incased of raw Crystal Glass for the King and Queen adopted a baby Pegasus and named her Princess Mi A Morea Cadenza or Cadence for short. As all the ponies locked there doors and windows while hearing the two ponies fight an army of 80-100 enemy ponies.       3 full hours have past and the war kept on going with 34 enemys to go King Ruby and Sombra had been rough housing it and trying to keep strengh. As all crystal ponies hid in their homes Golden Feather and Queen Saphire were helping all the un-adopted ponies in the shelter.     Out on the field King Ruby handeled the Stronger ones while Sombra took down the weaker ones by shooting left and right with freeze magic and deflecting the enemys.Soon a scream came from the east fort of the empire as some of the enemys made their way into some of the empire. Then Sombra realized that the east fort is where Golden Feather was, soon Sombra kelt teleporting every 20km he could while zapping the foes with magic beams soon he arived at the fort where many screams came from. Sombra kicked open the door and looking around soon he found a room with marks and ponies everywhere, Sombra stopped and started to tear up as 15 ponies and 4 fillies dead then in a corner a Crystal Pony was protecting 5 fillies then 2 ex-Ponies tried to kill them. Then Sombra shot the ex-Ponies then seeing Golden Feather weakened he put a sheild over her and the kids and ran but without realizing it Sombra was attacked by a ex-Unicorn and nearly killed down to 1 ex-Pony was left just as it was about to kill Sombra.        Then King Ruby took the death and ultimate kill to the last ex-Pony. //-------------------------------------------------------// Sombra //-------------------------------------------------------// Sombra        Many weeks later all the bodies have been recovered. 3 weeks after the war Sombra awoken and soon had dark blue eyes filled with tears after the fate of his special some pony and rushed to her side relizing that the war killed the king and queen with a terrifiying amount of weak crystal ponies Sombra at bay seeing his loved Golden Feather's eyes shut and coat dark and dry he slowly bowed his head in respect of his late girlfriend. Then as a merical happen Sombra had a quick glance at all 31 herbs he saw one bottle (labled life herb old.)      "Miss is this bottle in use?" Sombra asked the nurse walking out of the room "No? I mean... not at all Sombra feel free to use anything in this room." She replied while walking out of the room.     Sombra's mind felt so worried as if he might not use the right mix, then a box fell on to the floor with the cover (Herbs and Heals!) Sombra used his magic to flip open the book and sucsses fully revive the one he lost and as his sad heart almost broke it stopped and glowed with all the love from the magic in their love eight ponies witnessed sombra doing so and ran to him hoping that he might save there family and friends. Sombra handed the magic revive to Golden Feather hoping she had a pony in mind. Gold walked to a baby new born pegasus with many scars and hardly breathing soon that baby pegasus was labled as (Princess Mia Moreh Cadenza) and Gold relized that the princess of the empire must leave.      "Cadence? Oh my I saved her... I.. did .... it..." Golden Feather said    "Golden, are you okay? I'm proud of you!" Sombra smiled and said with a cheerful voice!   "No! I CAN'T UNDO THIS MISTAKE ANYMORE! AHUG!" Golden Feather yelled in pain "WHY?! I HAVE INDANGERED US AGAIN!"      "GOLDEN FEATHER CALM DOWN!" Sombra screamed while slaming his hoof on the hard rock floor!    "Sombra?.... are you okay?" Golden Feather said scared while holding the baby in her hooves.       "I'm so sorry just stop I will take her away and hide her just rest and help other ponies okay?" Sombra replied, then gentlely put baby Cadence in a basket of Crystal that freezed her for 12 more years and then dropped her in a bush near a village under management and ran away as he made sure nopony saw him and ran back to the empire.       Around 5 long months in the Empire Sombra decided to take on a ruler on the thrown only seeing as he was the closest to a fit ruler and no pony objected. Soon a mare with a cute mane took the side thrown as his Special Married Mare in the next 9 months and soon will be given the title Queen Golden Feather, but sombra had to live in the Empire for 7 more months to be declared the Empire's King and he was ever ready to live a life as a ruler!
