The sun peaks ever so slowly over the eastern horizon from the idyllic town of Ponyville. The farmers of the town have already gotten to work while the other citizens begin to wake themselves so begin their daily routines as well. The only part of this that gets your out of bed is the sound of a million birds trying to get laid, a sound most normally find beautiful. At this point you have to get up so you lazily roll out of bed and onto your feet.
The sunlight shines into yourhumble abode through the window on the far side of the building. The single room you call home was devoid of any plumbing was really just a bed and a dresser, with access to the bathroom of the house below. You walk over to the dresser to get yourself dressed, once everything else was fitted you grab your jacket and walk back over to your bed.
You bend over and pull a familiar object back from under the bed, your trusty Picus R700 Lever Action Rifle along with its strap and an ammo belt. Once you are sure you are ready for work you step out the front door to go clean yourself up a little in the bathroom down stairs.
Once you’re sure you’re ready you head out the front door into the streets of Ponyville you check if you have everything and head out to the tavern to look for contracts. You always go the tavern early as to avoid every drunk asshole proclaiming you “great hunter” or trying to pick a fight to impress some broad. You continue your way down the sleepy streets until you find yourself back at the tavern you had gotten all your jobs from. This place has sent you to all corners of equestria hunting all manor of dangerous beasts.
You are running low on cash anyway so you might have to take on a large multi-star job. With that thought in your mind you push open the door to the “Drunken Guardsman” the bartender greets you while he cleans the dishes. He doesn’t say anything more to you and he quickly gets back to work behind the counter.
You walk up to the job board and pick the two jobs available for hunters.
Employer: Ms. Fluttershy Abigail *
Job(One Star): Please scare the bear away from my animal sanctuary that has been terrorizing the other animals. PLEASE DO NOT KILL THE BEAR!

Once you had written down the two jobs, one from the cute girl with the constant bear problems and another one with a promise of a huge payout. You had never taken a job above seven stars before but such a big job should attract others and you can just take a cut. Either way you still have things to so, that bear problem won’t fix itself again. You adjust your rifle on your back and head back outside.
You soon find yourself at the entrance of the path to Fluttershy’s house. You have to resist the urge to draw your rifle to fend from non-existent monsters, mostly instincts from growing up in the Gryphon Kingdom’s forest. Even in daylight you still keep your eyes peeled for any marauding creatures of chaos trying to tear you to bits. The idea that Equestria wasn’t overrun by monsters still hasn’t sunken into your mind.
You begin to imagine Fluttershy in her normal attire, a frumpy sweater with a vest over it and a long brown skirt holding a lovingly baked apple pie. Her long pink hair hiding just enough of her face to make her even more appealing. She would welcome you home after a difficult hunt and tend to your wounds and desires.
Once you finish your daydreaming you spot Fluttershy’s cute wooden cottage nestled among the wildlife of the area. Although to the side of the building you see something odd, fluttershy was knelled beside the very bear you had scared away many times before apparently talking to it. To ensure you don’t startle the thousand pound pile of muscle and death sitting next to to the cute girl you approach the pair slowly.
You stop several paces behind Fluttershy and the bear and try to find something to say.
“Looks like you don’t need me today” It’s a shame since she came up paying you and just cooked for you as payment instead.
“Eeeeepp!” She instantly scares to her feet.
“Ehh? What? Wait!” she disappears back into her house before you can get through to her.
You are not entirely sure how to continue on from here. You could go try to satisfy your curiosity and ask her what you just did but you really didn’t want to make things worse. You weigh your options and decide its best to leave her be so you turn yourself around and head back to town.
Just when you reach the treeline you feel a searing pain in your chest and fall to your knees. The pain dissipates when you look up to see hooded figure standing over you, instinct takes over and you hop to your feet and point your rifle at it. The seemingly faceless figure does not move or flinch.
“You are so close yet you give up here?” the figure asks you.
“What the fuck are you talking about!” you load the rifle and shove it closer to its face.
“The girl clearly has feelings for you yet you leave her in her most vulnerable moment” the figure tries to push the rifle away from its face but you instantly pull the trigger. “So you pass this golden opportunity” the bullet just passed through the figure.
“Now why would I take advice from some jank-ass ghost!”
“Why would I care to help a trigger happy bachelor?” you fire the rifle again.
“My your patience is short today is it?”
“What the fuck are you talking about?” you begin to feel the intimidating this guy won’t work.
“I don’t have time to deal with this” a strange pulse paralyzes you.
“What are you...!” the pain in your chests returns
“You have a lady to woo don’t you?” your body begins to move as if someone is moving you with wires attached to your bones. It doesn’t take long for you to black out.

You find yourself standing at Fluttershy’s front door gathering courage to knock on the door. You take a deep breath and steel yourself for the repercussion of the knocks, you timidly operate the door knocker. Once you are done a flurry of animals from within the house begin to go crazy with the noises they can make. The minutes turn into hours as you hear each animal being calmed one by one.
To your surprise the front door gets flung open at a near deadly pace, Fluttershy immediately tosses herself at you and wraps her arms around you. Both of you had no idea on what to say so but you decide to wrap your own arms around her slender waist. The pink haired girl responds to this by burying her face in your chest, you can feel tears soaking into your shirt.
“I’m so sorry” her voice is trembling
“I’m not exactly sure what you did” Fluttershy goes silent the minute she hears your voice.
“I...I... just wanted to see you again!”
“Fluttershy calm down and tell me what happened” you push her back so you can look her in her aqua eyes.
“I tamed the bear the first time you visited....” she looks away in shame
“Don’t worry I’m not going anywhere” you draw her back in.
Its fair to say that one thing led another and you soon found yourself in a much more intimate situation with Fluttershy.

“I think I’m going to miss you, even if you never remember me” a seemingly faceless hooded figure stands over you in bed.
“....!” you can’t move any part of your body or make any noise.
“I disapproved you your decision to become a Monster Hunter but you sure catched a cute one here. The figure walks over to Fluttershy” You try to do anything against the figure but you find yourself powerless.
“Now to eliminate the last obstacle” the figure suddenly grows two spider like appendages and stabs them into Fluttershy.
“....!” a weak groan escapes from you.
“If no one heard you shooting at me earlier you think they will hear you now?” without making any noise it extracts some sort of pink energy ball from her chest.
“Don’t worry I didn’t hurt her” your moves itself to stare at an uninjured and unaware Fluttershy.
