I sat by the wall, watching as Nalsia took out Aranas. She was fast, as always, but lacking her usual acrobatic routine....unless anything that involved actual fighting came up, then she'd pull out the backflips, triple round kicks, and whatever else she did while all I, or anybody else watching, could see was a blur of black, silver, and white.
It only took a few minutes for my friend's HP bar to drop to just under seven percent, his claymore dropping from his hands as he gave up. She smirked, something familiar that made me feel....I'm not entirely sure, but it made me feel different. In a good way though....I think. My pulse sped up and I got slightly lightheaded whenever she shot me that evil grin. That didn't mean I was sick, did it? Light I hope not.
"You need to be quicker on your blocks," she advised him, her ears bobbing slowly as she nodded along with her words. "Either that or learn to dodge."
Aranas stuck his tongue out at her, which caused her to grin again before returning the gesture.
