A few weeks ago ponies started to go missing. Every pony noticed, but no pony really cared. They were all ponies that had troubler had some weird sickness, so no pony really seemed to care. What most ponies did seem to notice though was Twilight Sparkle's constant absences. She wasn't anywhere. Her library, Sugar Cube corner, any of her friends places, no one knew where she was. Friends and her dragon Spike were getting worried. I noticed thugh. I noticed everything that has started happening. I noticed all right. It just took my sanity to figure it all out.

The other night while I was out for a stroke, the brisk fall air giving me a chill. Nightmare night was next week, but even though ponies had put decorations out, something didn't seem right about all the shadows. I heard some pony approaching behind me. The weird thing is, I heard nothing except the clank of a very loose shoe on the stones. No hint of any other shoes on the ground or even the normal clip clopping of a horses bare hooves.
A chill ran down my back but instead of fleeing like my instincts told me, I turned around so see what it was. The air exiting my lunges caught in my throat. My eyes focussed as the moon shone down. The pasty white skinned horse glowing in the night. The bones in its body almost visible from starvation. The mouth of the horrible creature opened up to reveal row after row of long, pointed, blood soaked fangs. Standing taller than any normal pony ad with rips tearing its mouth open to give it's viewer a clear sight of what is normally hidden.
What haunted me most though, was the large black sockets with red tears streaming out the bottom. The pony like creature bared its fangs out like a wolf and let out a hissing noise that made my ears flatten back so fast and hard against my skull that i felt physical pain.
A cackling noise directed my attention behind me. I still cannot describe the shock that gripped me as i caught sight of the pony's cutie mark. The only thing i could see from the moons glare were the shinning white stars. I was so fixated with my shock that i did not see the other pony monstrosities coming out of the allies on either side of me until i was flanked on both sides by them. The pony i had my eyes locked on must have been the commander for as she spun around and took off at a swift pace the others moved in a silent march towards my certain doom. Having no choice to follow i looked at one of the ponies in front of me as the blood streamed freely from its "eyes".
Finally regaining my senses It was to late to try and even duck between the skinny legs of my captor and an even larger one slunk out of the shadows to join the leader of the group and watch me intently. Looking around and keeping my mind busy with other things i began to take note of these creatures qualities.
Eyeless sockets
Fangs for teeth
Scar covered faces
Skin practically hagning on bones
Harm scars racking their flesh
Looking at some of the other ponies i noticed that they also had a few horns and the odd set of wings. THe ears however, seemed to be ripped away. Tears were leaving a permanent mark down their face
One thing really stood out though. Height. Some ranged from slightly taller than a large stallion to bigger than princess Luna. The one beside the leading "normal" pony however seemed to be bigger than princess Celestia herself. The larger one also had missing chunks of neck and back, the spine vissible down its skinny pasty back. The normal pony kept leading us on until we reached the library's cellar. The larger monster beside the unicorn mare pulled the cellar open with its hoof before locking it's sockets on me and letting out a rumbling sound deep from inside itself making my heart skip every other beat.
All the others stepped foreword in one big mass, filling the air with the stray clopping and clanking of loose shoes. lowering my head as i passed the mega monster i glanced up only to have it bare its fangs at me, hurrying foreword and almost tripping over my heel i locked my eyes foreword slightly aware of the hiss laugh going on behind me. A door slammed behind me covering me in a blanket of darkness. Looking around i saw flashed of red which must have been slivers of light reflecting off of monsters bloody streaked faces. Shrinking down to a ball on the floor only to have the lights flick on soon after making me blind. Hissing fills my ears as i blink away blindness. Monsters hunched and snapping at imaginarry enemies awates my eyes. Looking foreward to the centre of the room My heart falls through to my legs. The horrible glean of sterile metal greets me and a horrific looking mare. Breath shortening as my eyes fovussed on Twilight Sparkle standing in the centre of the room with a chained derpy whooves. Fear plasterd clean on her face. The room dimming i see Tilight crack a wide bleached smile, leaving an after flash on my closed sockets. Haunting me even in my state of uncontiousness.

All I did was deliver mail late at night! I didn't think that monsters would be out that early. I, Derpy whooves has just been sending in my last mail to the mail box when my crossed eyes caught a double imaged pony that was nothing short of a nightmare. This was the thing i told Ditzy about to keep her in the house over the winter. This is was gave her the nightmares the same night i told her. This is what haunted me as a child. This is what the other ponies looked like when they teased me. Only this was worse.
I froze and couldn't recover quickly enough. My wings springing out and flapping like a baby sparrow trying to fly away before it spotted me. looking like a normal pony's face it opened its mouth to show off rows upon rows of chainsaw like teeth ripping all the way back to its skinny and jutting cheek bone. It lunged at me and only gave me enough time to blast foreword after i un froze, grabing a chunk of tail with it but dragging i out.
Letting out a shriek of pain i closed my eyes and tried not to focus on it only to open them to another pony coming right at me only this one was able to chase me through the air. It took a while before it caught me but when it did it bore its fangs into my flank making me scream louder. Dragging me down with it a mare with her mane sticking every where greeted me. Eyes wide and white she nodded to the pegasus like creature that had brought me down only to bow her head slightly and let her face curl into a grin. "Two in one night" she hissed. "Take her back, i will be there shortly." She snapped.
the creature that grabbed my tail before shoved me foreword and almost nocked me down. Stumbling along trying to ignore the searing pain in my bleeding flank i kept my head low and eyes narrowed slits. It wasn't long until we got to the library and the door swung open. Eyes wide in horror at the double door looming in front of me showing double the darckness i was shoved down before letting myself utter a noise. Falling side first into the dark room hissing and menassing noices filled my ears making them twitch back and forth before flattening againts my skull to drowned them out.
Not long after the doors flew open again and the purple mare walked in and flicked o a light on a large table filled with sharp scary doctor tools. Shrinking back in feer the mare curlled another smile before rapping my legs in her magic. "Now now derpy! no need to fear, i only wish to make you better!" she cooed before stabbing a needle into m neck and injecting it fast. "Luckily your not the first one!" she mused before the doors flung open again and a stallion tumbled in. Locking eyes with me before blacking out i felt something sturr inside me that for once that night had nothing to do with fear.
