The Helghast Empire has been almost destroyed by countless years of war with vector and the ISA forces which in during the final months of fighting there planet was nuked in a last ditch attempt by a small pocket of ISA soldiers left on the planet during the invasion.

Now with the ISA fleet from Vector coming to finish what they started the remaining Helghast forces are forced to retreat once again from the oppressive forces of the ISA into another solar system but among the chaos the remaining Helghast end up being sent into a unknown place during a hyper jump.

Colonel Mael Radec, Commander of Helghast forces which a reputation of being heartless and cruel which towards the enemy and his own men has also arrived at the same strange planet, after shooting himself he finds himself laying on the ground in everfree forest.

But this planet is like no other as there about to find out for good or for worse.
