Rob is what you could refer to as a 'discount' wizard. In an attempt to to find a succubus, Rob accidentally summons Queen Chrysalis instead.

Thanks to an ancient summoning ritual and the power of ~~drug abuse~~ magic plot holes, Rob pulls Queen Chrysalis to Earth in order to 'feed' her.
And 'feed' her, he does.
