Orders - Finish the Program. Execute and observe positive results.

The Royal Science Division takes charge of the deployment of a classified material that was used to mash the last piece of their new system hardware. The very first Supercomputer that can run more than 800 Million Programs everyday. Executing the impossible answers for the questions in algebra that scientists would take time to solve.

Finally, hopes of building this machine for 20 years praised the scientist Haste Hooves and his team to finish what was undone. And what ponies could not build or modify. With their new system all connected from here to Canterlot's Database. They were ready to go and launch the technology that would eventually led Equestria to run itself and become the most powerful country.

"Ready on your signal sir." One of the Science team members called.

"Good." A Voice heard from the intercoms that sounded the granite halls of the underground cavern. "Once our technology is complete and stays positive. Equestria will no longer be hard by ponies that are striving to take their chances to complete whatever they left undone."

"Glad to hear that sir." Another member of the scientist team said. As he monitors the meters of electricity on the monitor. "There's a strange pattern here. But it's minor. We can basically run it without any further interruptions."

"Heheh " Haste Hooves' short laugh. Sounds the hall and smiles by his invention. "Clockwork, start it."

The spinning rings above the system's temperature holder starts spinning. Cooling the heat caused by the overuse of the system. Minor sparks of electricity appears but have no direct interference with the technology running. The system then moves to phase 1, the plasma pulse on the storage generators runs their sprinting cells combining with the current electricty on the system. Then the orange spark on the barrel beneath 2000 CPU's below that massed up the entire cavern's ceiling. It completed phase 1.

"Haste Hooves. It's going perfectly. But can I say something about the minor interruption spark?"

"Go."

The Scientist double checked the monitors. As it's yellow colored meters slowly turns to red in a matter of seconds. "Looks like our little problem just grows into something that can interrupt the system."

"Continue running the system."

"But it's identified as a malware."

"Excuse me?" Haste Hooves, never expected that of the ordinary. And how did a single virus could go in to the system if it didn't even download something from the public internet. "How did we get a malware system?"

"Well...." The Scientist's eyes widens by seeing the meters going perfectly red. Bloody red if added. "I don't know, but... During Phase 1, the system on the rings seemed to have successfully added the omegon process or so called-"

"Anti-Guard"

"Y-Yes." The Scientist now focused his view on both the monitor and the machine. Noticing a purple spark rather than a yellow or white spark from much of the electricity used. "But that Anti-Guard was not able to delete the traces of that minor problem. And it seems it just combined with the Anti-Guard. Somewhat it became invulnerable by any system that can stop it.

"So what? Strike one. Haste Hooves ignored the warning from his fellow scientists. "Run the ADM Processor directly to that malware and override it. We cannot interrupt the program of our new machine."

Strike two. The Scientist activates the ADM Processor and starts typing the script codes. But once he does, the blue background for the white text screen automatically turns to red. And everything on the text typed turned dark red that puts the system at risk. A large sized skull icon appeared in the monitor of the scientist's computer.

Phase two begins, but as the ADM failed to override the malware. It continued to spread across the system. Every data from green and blue turned bloody red. Whatever inside the machine is gone. And the Sparks of yellow turned to red. The Spinning rings starts to stop spinning. But the generators that contains the plasma system accelerates to transfer power towards the Machine. Monitors placed on every corners, desks and as well on supercomputers. Turned it's screen to bloody red.

"What the hell is going on?" Haste Hooves did not expect this quickly. As this part of his progress would ruin his career. Maybe his reputation. Or at the cost of his job. He thinks desperately to figure out to continue running the system from a newly virus controlled machine. "Re-run the system!"

"I can't." The scientist unplugged most of the software wires and plugs it again on separate systems. "The Machine stops after it runs for Phase 2."

"Get off the computer! I'll do it!"

The scientist did as what Haste orders. And Haste sits down on the scientist's desk. A Direct expert of computer technology, he was able to pop a new window on the computer and the monitor shows a BIOS Advanced Settings. He replaced everything to zero. 0. And that finally settles in to Strike Three.

"Run the system again."

Haste's colleagues runs it again. It worked. The Machine's spinning rings from above spins 360 endlessly. The sparks appeared only a few but it stopped as the machine is about to be free from the virus control. Haste thought so, as him and his team finally have themselves relaxed and calm by the situation there.

But that didn't progress well. It was too much. Strike Three was already called in. The Machine finally gave up as smoke now came out from the pump resourcer. The Generators easily shuts off without any reason at all. Wires quickly disconnects by the shake of the system. Fire already appeared behind the supercomputer. The team tried to stop it. But Haste just stood there, watching his failure as his team is trying to fix everything.

The Machine stops and explodes as it's CPU units from above fell down on the concrete ground. One of those units hits a scientist and knocked him down. As the others were able to evade from the units raining from above. Not water. But many parts of the machine just goes beyond mother nature's restless rain into technology's wrath.

Powers were shut off. Emergency lights were automatically turned on. It was able to light up the hall though. But beyond those safety measures that was able to save them. ( Except the one that was hit by the machine's debris parts but later restored consciousness. ) Haste couldn't believe what just happened to his machine. 20 years of work and he would never expect failure from over 300 Inventions he made that he became the icon of Equestria.

"Haste?"

He faintly hear one of the scientist's voice. That all of those work were down to nothing. From the first invention of success to evolve Equestria's technology proved that he was the stallion with the brightest mind of all. Glad he was still alive, but the machine? No. It was dead. Dead as if killed by itself. A Machine that could turn against itself was like a pony trying to kill either any of the two genders mentioned or predicted.

"Hope that Celestia could not see what just happened right now." Haste ran towards the remains of his machine. He could only see the mess of destroyed CPU units and strangled wires that were mostly cut off by either the fire or the machine's explosion. "We need to rebuild this machine. Fast."

"And spend another twenty years or more?"

"No. I hope not. Did you tried getting at least one terminal active?"

"Aye." The English scientist pony attempts 4 tries to turn on his terminal. It opened. And the monitor lights up as it resumes it's previous program. Seeing results they could surprise them all. "Looks like the Machine was just a completion of Phase 2. But mate, we just surpassed Five Phases and completed it."

"Hold on. You mean that the machine surpassed Five Phases?"

"I couldn't say it's possible. But it did. The Machine should've not run itself once it was destroyed. But..." He looked at another window opened. "It seems that the Malware destroyed exterior system parts of the Machine. Not the inside."

"Then what did we get? Any data?"

"Yes. 2059 GB. It's all encrypted. We can run our new machine that we created recently on hangar 9."

"OH THANK CELESTIA." Haste finally takes a hearing of the news he thought would never be spoken. But now he heard it. A Good news. Apparently, at the cost of their new machine that runs many data. But it didn't matter now. For that Haste got the data. He and his team sprints with their data, along with their files to the surface elevator and get to the hangar they own at the Wonderbolts Ground Airfield. That was recently built on Canterlot.

At the Surface of Equestria....

The Scientist teams pushed out of the elevator and rushed outside from the Science Headquarters. They were able to get to the airfield and ran to their purchased hangar. They saw the new machine, almost done. And it just only requires:

A DATA. Which it may either be a success for the science team. Or adding the strike that may result fatal consequences. What was inside the data anyways? Haste would definitely ask himself that question. Answer all by himself couldn't go and just rotate something that can relate on. Even Celestia is not a type of Princess to answer a question that's beyond science. It's beyond Technology.

Technology. A Deadly word for something they cannot add on royalties. They made up that word to call whatever's running Equestria's machines that runs itself. Because ponies would definitely run machines by themselves. Only by themselves. Nothing would let any machines run itself. What would the greatest minds of Equestria would think off? That Haste has gone crazy? Is the data actually working? Is it?

They arrived.

"There." The English pony shows the newly modified machine. "This is ODIN. A Newly made machine from our company friends that are loyal to our work."

"Are they?"

That response from Haste would be mean of a hostile way for the company that helped them. The English pony wouldn't dare to question Haste's attitudes about his work or anyone on his team. Haste would say no or shut up to them if they ever try to ask questions to him. They signed off a deal that they can only follow. They can only go on. And no matter what Haste tells them to do. They have to follow it. Or their paychecks would rather be zero. If pissed off, it'll be torn by Haste.

"ODIN is a system name for this new machine. Yes. They're loyal to us and they would provide whatever we need for this machine to run." The English pony activates all of the terminals. As the others goes on their posts. "If the data indeed works-"

"Then we can have a big, fat paycheck with many bits that'll run my career to a new path." Haste thought of that. Only he would not trust the others that his bits would go share to them and may be fighting for it. Well they cannot just... He said to himself. Take whatever I have when ODIN is complete.

"ODIN can run himself because of the AI Function. And yes. It can talk." Haste never knew about a machine that can talk by AI System. Nobody have invented Artificial Intelligence system. But now there is. And whoever invented this kind of piece of system could be beyond rich and fame. Maybe a royalty reward like being the Knight of the Royals. Haste would want that too. And if he would be called Sir. He'd be damn lucky that he would really marry a princess. Not Celestia. Just the princess that he wish he want to have with. Any mares that might fit on his personality.

"Doctor Haste? Are you listening?"

He quickly turned attention to the English Pony. Which he was discussing about ODIN. A New Machine for the future. "Go on. Continue."

"ODIN can run better dozen times faster than previous supercomputer programs. Thus, this can surpass many of the rival companies and quickly accept data that are safe to be plugged in. Of course, ODIN is a weapon. It can fire projectile waves of Tungsten impacts anywhere on Equestria. Depending on the data result orders. Or by a Scientist's commands inputted on the terminal."

"Wait, a weapon?" Haste asked. He never expect a supercomputer being a weapon too.

"Yes. A Weapon. Tungsten. It can turn ground materials and shift itself with a brightest impact. Well, if you deploy Seven or Eight impacts directly to ODIN Terminal Command. You can actually put Canterlot down too.".

"That's dangerous."

"In fact it is." The English pony agreed. Dangerous to use or not. They would use it for data configuration and build whatever the data is enlisted from the previous machine that generated more than billions of files and scripts. "Well, Haste. Do you want to plug the data in?"

Haste's dream is to go and tail around the invention he made. No. If he's going to use the data on ODIN as a service for supercomputer programming but also a weapon for Tungsten deployments. It would literally be a risk. He doesn't know if the data is even safe to plug in and finish his work.

"We have to run scans on the data first."

"ODIN doesn't scan when the data is not plugged in."

"Can the data with a virus affect the scan when it's plugged in?"

"A Multipurpose supercomputer?" The English pony shrugged. Not sure of what he could say there. "No. I don't think so." He lied.

But Haste has a point. The Data came from the machine that was flooded with malware virus. If the Data could be added with a virus, it may trigger ODIN to start shockwaves of Tungsten and start destroying Canterlot by Seven or eight shockwaves within 30 minutes. One shockwave is enough to shift the ground entirely. But Canterlot as a city on the mid-edge of the mountains, not sure of how many. It could take only less than 30 minutes to say that Canterlot will fall.

"Well Haste, we don't have much time left. Plug it in." The English pony said.

He stood up from the soft chair he sat on. Holding the data by his teeth gripped on the sides. The time was not enough for Haste to go and plug it in into ODIN. The English pony inadvertently levitated the data and off from Haste's grip of his teeth.

"Hey!"

The English pony plugs in the data. ODIN starts making it's operational sounds. Louder than the one that was destroyed by the malware and nearly costs millions of bits to get one data. They rather cover their ears but both Haste and the english pony were the only scientists experienced environmental noises so loud like how ODIN Operates by now.

Monitors on every sides of the ODIN Supercomputer shows records, meters, even data harvested by ODIN. Putting everything inside on ODIN. Which means that the data did not have a malware. And Haste was wrong having the risks. He sighed. Thought if having a explosion on the hangar would cost everything. Including his job. Maybe his life by banishment. But nopony knows, since ODIN operates quite well.

"I told you Haste. There is nothing to worry about." The English Pony smiles. Thought of succeeding the future of technology. "ODIN won't be compromised by the virus."

Compromised? Such word. Haste definitely care about the risks right now. There's no telling how much data they absorbed on the previous machine. 2059 GB? That's entirely enough for someone to handle at least 2 Terabytes or more. Or what does the data exactly contain? Everything were written in numbers. They couldn't solve what was behind the machine. All they can think for is that ODIN would succeed and start finalizing all the needs on making technology better. Right now, Haste still focused his eye on ODIN's Shockwave Pillar. His ear twitches when the pillar slowly ascends to the limit of the bar.

Oh crap... Haste said to himself. I should've known...

"Haste?" The Scientist noticed his suspicions behind ODIN.

"Yes?" Replied as he wipes off the sweat on his forehead. Replenishing his thoughts behind his worry. "Hey, you said that ODIN Operates when the Data is being absorbed. Correct?"

"Yes." The English Pony said. "ODIN doesn't activate their data patterns and thermometers behind the heat of the Machine. Depending on the Data. Which is actually 2 Terabytes big."

"Then explain why the Pillar is slowly moving? Isn't that-"

"What?" The English Pony looked behind ODIN's pillar. It continued to ascend slowly. About to reach the bar limit. "I think ODIN is just checking the systems. Including the Shockwave Pillar."

"Will it impact?"

"Why? No. It won't. ODIN is 100% Operated with Safeguard."

Wrong. The Pillar stopped right when it's small platform stopped at the bar limit brick. ODIN started to sound unusual. As the Monitor infront shows that the data is nearly complete. That ODIN would operate and find location patterns, math answers and scientific involvements behind technology bits to bits. The Scientists covering their ears lowered their hooves as the sound suppressed with a sound that they never heard before.

"I think I hear a fan being hit by something rapidly. Is everything okay?" A mare Scientist asked. About the sound being unusual to the ponies.

The Pillar Platform impacts at the ground. Causing a violent shake that started the mountains on the side of Canterlot, dropping debris. Rocks. Plenty of rocks hits some of Canterlot's buildings.

I knew it!! He was lying! Haste said to himself. But the second shockwave from the platform was enough to wake everypony from another violent shake.

Now the rocks falling down at the edge of Canterlot on the mountains, rains down small to big rocks. They heard some screams somewhere outside the Airfield. And most of those small rocks hits several houses already. Especially shops either closed or still open 24 hours.

"Damn it Quill Trashoff!" Haste shouted the name of the English Pony. "You said that ODIN Refreshes without releasing Tungsten Shockwaves!!"

"Yes! It doesn't release shockwaves when it refreshes it's systems! It might be the Data!

Haste's was right. The Data is the problem. And not ODIN itself.

"You fool! You costs us our job-" The Third time as the Shockwave Pillar impacts at the ground. Now a giant rock crashes down at the nearby Canterlot Library. A music of screams already filled the city with terror. Awe. Everypony ran out of their houses or at the buildings they were in. Guards mobilized in several parts of the city.

The Guards on the Airfield arrested Haste's fellow scientists from starting ODIN. Before the fourth shockwave was delivered. Haste was able to shut it down before he was taken away by the military police.

Worst, It was enough to wake Princess Celestia. She puts on her golden royal chestplate, her crown and her golden shimmering hooves. She flys out of her room as it was on the tower. Also seeing damages on the Castle as the cracks were shown and some buildings were reported destroyed. Most were actually damaged by the rocks from the mountains at the side.

"Captain Bolt!" Celestia lands on the Castle Grounds. As she meets up with the Guard Captain organizing plans to his lieutenants. The Captain focused to her. "What is with the repeated quakes?"

"Y-Your majesty!" Him and the lieutenants bow down before her. As they show loyalty to their superior. "Three quakes have already caused major damage to the city! We have never had a violent quake as before!"

"Tell the Science Division ponies to find where the epicenter of the quake is. Seconds of those quakes already caused the worst to this city." Celestia looked at the damaged buildings. "Is anypony hurt?"

"We're still finding how many were hurt. Or dead. If possible." The Captain said. Nothing to report right after three quakes caused by ODIN. Confused of the quake's violent shake on the city and the rocks from the mountains raining down on them. Somepony would've been killed. And leaving most of the ponies either injured or trapped on the buildings they are in.

"C-Captain!" A Scientist pony came out from the Science Division Headquarters. "That is not infact an earthquake. When it counted three and occured 2-3 seconds each quake. It's a Shockwave. And plus, it's also possible that if it's either anypony's powers. Or..."

"A Pulverizer Machine."

"Y-Yes! Possible! But we're not sure. Scans says that the source of the strongest 3 quakes are actually at the Airfield."

Now they know where the source is. But who could've possibly know that if it is either anypony using their powers and pummel the ground with their might and caused hundreds if not thousands hurt.

"Captain! Princess!" A Pegasus Guard lands on the grounds. Bowing first before reporting. "It's Doctor Haste. They some sort of run some machine. Big. And they're telling is it is the thing that caused the quake."

"Haste? The Doctor Haste?"

"Hate I'd prefer." The Captain teasingly mistaken the name of Haste Hooves. "Have the guards arrest those scientists and escort them to the detention center."

"Bring Haste Hooves immediately to my throne. The rest to the detention center." Celestia ordered. Presumebly adding one request as one bright scientist is to be taken care of by the princess herself. "I also want ODIN disabled and anyone involved out of their jobs immediately."

The Guards nods. As they sprinted out of the grounds and moved to their said objective.

Five minutes after, Celestia waits for Haste to come by to their throne. And thus, Haste has arrived. The Guards escorting him are very strict. Very, very strict. Celestia gave a nod to the guards escorting him to leave. They did. And Celestia's serious stare with her eyes glared on Haste gave him enough scare to shiver that he either get two punishments. Exile or Banishment.

"P-Princess... " Countering his fear from the Princess' locked anger on him. He puts on a simple conversation that would be enough to cool for her and to him as well. "It's just an accident. Part of Science..."

"Is it?" Celestia's voice rose from that occasion. Disagreeing about Haste's words about Science taking risks to make matters putted down and get this over with. No. It wasn't easy to please Celestia. "You were a praised scientist Haste Hooves. But what you did here this late at night, just put thousands of ponies hurt. And only a few killed. Do you know how bad this is for Equestria? You could've killed me as well."

Haste gulped.

"About this machine of yours," Celestia lowered the tone of her voice to normal. Able to give Haste breaking the chains of his fear towards the princess. "ODIN? Is that correct?"

Haste wouldn't say anything but to nod his head to her.

"Immediately to be decommissioned and part of a myth that never happened before. Celestia ordered that pursing request to him. Directly. "Your team members are forgiven. But you and that English Pony? It's hard to pass you beyond of that one terrible mistake about operating ODIN."

The shivering stallion scientist now faces his possibility of Exile. No wonder how the Princess is angry about the issue right now. That how many ponies were affected by this " accident " he called in. That didn't ease the situation here. It just made it worse for him. Plus, breaking his chances about getting off the bars of Exile.

"I-I'm so sorry princess." Haste bowed down with his ears flattened. Worried about the punishment to be conducted. "I cannot repay of what happened. I cannot fix everything that ODIN caused many of the ponies harmed."

"I cannot let you stay here." Celestia said. For there's no place for a scientist to be trusted to any incidents conducted that could eventually may result in deaths of the ponies residing on Canterlot. "Haste Hooves..." Guards came in to her throne, prepared to escort Haste out. "Responsible for the injuries sustained by several ponies on Canterlot. Damage of the properties of the city inside and out. Also risking royal members and guards of the capital. You are exiled from Canterlot and other cities. Until 80 years has passed. Your exile status will be gone. And you can return to your life here as an ordinary pony."

THIS is what he feared mostly. Exiled on every cities known in Equestria? Only he could live on is on towns and villages. Maybe on the forest alone? At least the exile punishment was not worse like being sent to the moon. Four Guards escorts Haste out of the throne, taking him away of the city.

Written on the Note about ODIN however:

CANTERLOT EXECUTIVE GOVERNMENT AND ROYAL ASSOCIATES

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

ORDERS FROM PRINCESS CELESTIA. OBJECTIVES ARE TO BE ISSUED IMMEDIATELY AT 6:00 AM.

The Multipurpose machine, ODIN. Is to be classified as a myth from Equestria permanently. Absence of the machine is by being thrown down 2000 meters below of the Canterlot Caves. Nopony is allowed to declassify the information. Or be dealt in summarily punishment of exile.

Now ODIN and the ODIN Incident is a myth. Just out of the records. But remained a history and only to be remained as Canterlot Evolving. Ponies involved on ODIN are to keep their mouths shut. Continue on their business and their works to go on with life. Celestia, still worried about what's next to come. Finally calmed her worry and now continues her duties as a princess and a ruler of Equestria.

And 800 years passed.... ODIN.. With a blink of a yellow light on the bar. Illuminates the caves with a light. Shaped by the crystals nearby. ODIN's monitors opens in blue. And now, ODIN is again. Reactivated...
