What Wasn't Suppose to Happen Makes the Situation all the More Right.by LivingLieChaptersSocial Norms, Ha!Tis Not GoodBut I Love Her!You Know Nothing About Us!Social Norms, Ha!Chapter 1: Social Norms, HA! Nighttime in Ponyville, Sugarcube corner to be exact. It’s seemingly delicious exterior twinkled oh so subtly in the moonlight, reflected by the thin layer of snow. The cupcake donning the crown of the building being the most brilliant example. Its' owners were gone for the time being with their children, to visit some family in Fillydelphia. So instead of them occupying the bakery the sole occupant that night was the Cakes ‘adopted’ daughter, Pinkie Pie. The pink pony laid in her bed, strewn across it really. Her blanket the same color as her mane, was only partially covering her body. Running up her right leg the blanket laid diagonally across her abdomen, and finally hanging over her left breast. Pinkie’s entire body was illuminated by the moonlight coming in from the window, her bed horizontal to said window. Her soft snoring was the only sound in the lavishly frilly room, with decorations of little girls most wildest fantasies realized. Her dreams, containing past adventures with her friends, made the mare of laughter giggle even in her sleep. Pinkie’s sleep was disrupted though when she heard some shuffling on the roof. “I hear shuffling on the roof.” she said to herself, sitting up from her bed. Without a care in the world she skipped out of her room and down the stairs. Opening the front door, she ignored the snow and looked at the roof. Nothing was there, and that was odd considering patches of snow were missing. The pony wasn’t concerned though, she went back into the inside of her house without sparing the incident another thought. Her pink pillow was graced by her fluffy mane once again. Dream land seeming so enticing at the moment. She didn’t get a chance however, as her pinkie sense shot adrenaline through her veins. Pinkie’s left cheek twitched and her tail began to wag, which commonly translates roughly into, griffon attack. For the second time tonight she opened her eyes. They quickly became fixated upon the golden claw hovering above her head. The claw trembled just above her, being held back by something invisible. Apparently the attacker saw the ponies blue eyes and they retracted their weapon. The pattering of feet running away rang in Pinkie’s ears. In a second Pinkie appeared in front of the intruder, causing them to stagger backwards. The sound of small water droplets dancing on the floor was the only noise in the room. “Hey, who are you? What are you doing here? Did you get lost? Are you cold? Did you know it was winter? Why were you walking outside during winter? Did you get lost? Do you need a place to stay? *Sharp inhale* Do you want a sleep over?” Pinkie asked in a quick barrage. The figure was still, unsure of what to do next. Taking a step to the right, the pony mirrored the action. A move to the left resulted in the same thing. Despite the darkness, anger was apparent in the silhouettes shaking. It only took a few more seconds for Pinkies eyes to develop to the darkness enough for her to see the potential assailant. “Gilda is that you?! Long time no see. . . You wanted a sleepover?” Pinkie asked. manipulating her forehead muscles. “Uhh.” Gilda said backing away towards the window. “Where are you going now?” Pinkie asked now behind Gilda. “Wait, how. . .When did you--” “This is my domain, I’m everywhere and I’m everything at once.” Pinkie explained with a smile. “. . .” “So what were you doing here again?” Gilda gulped audibly. Sweat started to fall profusely from her head and body. Even her normally harsh eagle glare, felt weak under the the wide eyes of the pink pony. She shifted back and forth, not knowing how to answer the question without being as blunt as possible. “I was here to hurt you.” “Oh, is that all?” “Is that all. Is that all! IS THAT ALL!?!” Gilda shouted almost stumbling over her words. She lifted her claw back in the air and moved to strike Pinkie, but again she stopped just next to the ponies head. Her face contorted with rage, her eyes showing anguish and frustration. ”I figured that this was the case. You’re still just an angry griffon. Loud and rude but not physically violent.” Pinkie said nonchalantly. “Don’t you belittle me like that.” “I would never do that.” “Cut the crap, don’t you dare say that you didn’t mean for any of this to happen!” “Any of this.” Pinkie spoke with an incredulous tone. “It’s probably all been apart of your plan starting at the party. How can I make the griffons life as hard as possible. First, make my best friend hate me, then everypony else!” “The party pranks was part of Dashie’s plan, not mine. ” Pinkie said uncomfortably. “Was she the one who put the buzzer on your hoof? Was she the one to taint the candy in your shop, was she the one who put the fake candles on the cake you made?” Gilda said pointing an accusing claw. “Don’t think that I don’t know about you ponies either. I heard about the ‘elements of harmony’, and Dash is loyalty. She took the fall for you, didn’t she? She was being loyal to her friends when they were accused of something wrong, even if they did.” “Sure, fine, I did set up those pranks. But did it to try to make you who, scared an old mare, stole, and made my best friend cry, a little more humble. See that you aren’t above any of us." “How? By making me the laughing stock of the town. By having everypony laugh at me, and degrade me to my boiling point? I see where you're coming from, it was such a great idea!” Gilda spat sarcastically. “Gilda, it might come as a surprise, but I really wanted to be your friend, I still do. I just want you to stop being so mean to everypony else.” “Like you would want to be friends with me.” “What do you mean?” “Oh like you don’t know. I’m Gilda, The evil griffon in Equestria.” she remarked with sarcasm dripping from her beak. “No, I don’t know.” Pinkie said with a tone far more empathetic, much to the surprise of Gilda. “Really? After the incident in Ponyville, I couldn’t go anywhere without being looked at as a monster. Apparently word spread quickly. I’ve been shunned and left in the cold by everypony; and no matter how hard I tried to be accepted, most ponies didn’t even know what a griffon was, so they figured I was naturally like how I was--” “Kinda, are.” Pinkie interjected. “No, you aren’t going to put this on me. It was your fault that I acted the way I did!” “You were the one to attack, threaten, and berated us. You even dropped me from the sky!” Pinkie’s tone turned defensive. “One, if I really wanted to hurt you, I would of dropped you straight down, not toss you in a spiral so your impact is softened. Two, did you ever think about this from my point of view? I had ONE friend in this world, and I didn’t get to see her for years. Then the first time I do, who is the pony that kept interrupting us, you.” “I’m Dashie’s friend too! I also wanted to be your friend. You shut me out.” “I didn’t. . . want to at first.” “You brushed me off from the very beginning.” Pinkie said growing confused. “I just wanted a few hours with my friend, alone. Honestly, I did want to go pranking with you guys, but is it wrong to ask for some alone time with Dash? Apparently so since she hates my very being, do you know what that’s like to have the one pony that you’ve ever cared for say ‘I hate you’. Pinkie was taken aback. For as long as she knew the pegasus, hating other ponies wasn’t in her nature. Gilda’s face however showed that she was speaking from the heart. Her feathers dripped from the melting snow. Her body's glistening stature was the most apparent, but the two sparkling streaks down her face garnered the limelight. “I-I came here to hurt you, to make you suffer. But I just can’t. Despite what everyone might think, I’m not. . . I’m not. . .” “You’re not a monster.” Pinkie whispered as she engulfed the griffon in a warm hug. The embrace sent a shiver down Pinkies spine. The cold water from the melted snow on Gildas body found it way past Pinkies fur. However, she showed no signs of release. Gilda didn’t recoil from the touch at first, in fact she melted into it. For a few seconds she forgot who was holding her and she relished in the comfort from another living being. Then, Reality hit her just as quick. “No, not you, let go of me!” Gilda shouted trying to push Pinkie off her, the effort futile with her arms trapped. “. . .” “Why won’t you just let me go?!?” Pinkie squeezed tighter. “Agh!” Gilda said pushing harder on Pinkie’s head with her own. The pony closed tight her eyes, and she closed any possible gap between the two of them. Pinkies limbs wrapped tighter, not enough to suffocate, but enough to inhibit movement. Gilda struggled, but over the matter of minutes she succombed to the opposite force. The warmth was so foreign, so unexpected. It had been so long since anyone, of any species, showed Gilda this kind of compassion. Gently she rested her head on the fluffy pink mane, sobbing softly into it. “I hated you. . . I wanted you gone from my life forever. . . Why treat me like--” “A friend? Because you are. I realize that you've done things in that past that are disrespectful, but I’d being lying if I said I didn’t play at least some part in it. I feel responsible for any pain that you’ve dealt with, so I want to make up for it now.” the pink pony elaborated calmly, her forehead resting on the griffons chest. Both griffon and pony sunk into the same position they stood, the weight of the situation proving to great. Together they exchanged water onto one anothers fur/hair for another few minutes, never separating from one another. Pinkie began to nuzzle gently into Gilda’s chest, like a child into soft pillows. Gilda, returning the motion into Pinkies mane . At the ten minute mark, a gentle yawn escaped Gilda's mouth. “Is someone tired?” Pinkie asked gently into the salt damp tears. “I guess.” Gilda blushed lightly. “Well, then I guess it’s time for sleep.” Pinkie said. . . Lifting Gilda up and carrying her to the bed. “P-P-Pinkie, what are you doing?” Gilda inquired, shocked at the strength demonstrated by the pink mare. “There’s only one bed in this room, so it’s where we’ll sleep. Besides you’re tired so I thought I would help you out.” Gilda remained silent as she was placed under a thick pink blanket in the mares bed. Pinkie had placed her on the bedside closest to the window. Pinkie then climbed into the bed as well, getting under the blanket and snuggling close to Gilda “Are you still cold and wet? Don’t worry, I’ll take care of that.” The element of laughters’ small smile was illuminated by the still strong moonlight. A warmth filled Gildas chest, as Pinkie held Gilda, and vice versa. Gilda snaked her tail in between her legs, around the ponys waist, and then around her own, tying the two together. Pinkie draped her tail over Gildas hip, a secondary rope it became. The drum like heartbeat from Gilda lulled Pinkie to sleep. Pinkies sweet smelling mane toxified the griffons mind, leading her on a euphoric trip into her own dreams. In their peace, neither of them noticed the presence of the Princess Luna outside the window. Tis Not GoodChapter 2: Tis Not Good Princess Luna stared into Pinkie Pie’s window. She smiled at the sight of the element of laughter. Despite her uptight persona light hearted joy was a welcome change in her day to day life. It even crossed her mind to send the royal guard to collect Pinkie under the guise of recruiting the new royal jester. Eventual she hoped that the position of jester would evolve into something more. The princesses gaze then shifted to the griffon. Her eyes narrowed substantially, boring imaginary holes in Gilda. Griffons weren’t exactly on great terms with Equestria a thousand years ago. In fact, the two nations were on the verge of war when the Nightmare Moon incident occurred. To see Gilda so intimate with a pony like Pinkie, Luna's blood started to boil. She inhaled deeply. Now was not the time to lose control. But she had to confirm her suspicions, if only to keep Pinkie Pie safe. Using her dream-walking abilities she began the process of entering the griffons subconscious. Her physical body evaporated outside of the bakery. Like gas, she seeped through the window. The griffon laid completely unaware as one half of the diarchy in Equestria climbed through her ears. “Oh Gilda, Yes there, THERE!” Pinkie Pie, with a black stockings, shouted without a care in the world. The griffon smiled to herself as her tongue caressed the insides of her lovers nethers. Her beak gently poked at the mares clit, eliciting more moans and shouts of approval. Gradually her tongue continued to move quicker, while at the same time the breath of the pleasured mare became shallow and short. Pumping, nearly thrusting her tongue several inches deep, Gilda finally created the desired response. “OOOOOOOOOOOOH!” Pinkie yelled, her orgasm leaving her breathless. Gilda swallowed the bitter-sweet love solution, but still left copious amounts of liquid dripping from her beak. Her long tongue slowly cleaned the rest of her bill, causing Pinkie to shudder with excitement. Gilda then sunk onto Pinkies lower half, switching to her quadruped form. Slowly she climbed her way up to her lovers face. Her body hung low, rubbing against Pinkie on the trip up. On the trip Gilda noted Pinkie was the skinniest or most muscular mare around. Her sweet-eating ways were evident as he very soft stomach attested to. She was in no means ‘fat’ or ‘obese’ she was perfectly plump. A stark contrast from Gilda who was well sculpted and very muscular. Gilda didn’t keep this in mind as she continued her crawl. In the mares eyes the sensual hip swaying and predatory stare was almost too much to bear. “Why take so long? Don’t you want yours?” Pinkie asked impatiently, yet not making it a complaint. The griffon smiled as she jumped at her lovers face. Her normally destructive beak wrapped itself around the mares mouth without resulting in physical harm. They tongues wrestled each other, neither caring who actually won. They lost themselves in the embrace until Pinkie forced herself away, much to the chagrin of Gilda. “You spoil me so much.” The pony declared, flicking her hoof downward. “I could never do that.” Gilda reached out, and began kneading Pinkies breast. The taught pink breast was squeezed by the cool claw. It’s supple excess poured out in between the individual talons. Gilda giggled crazily when she squeezed her lovers breast and it made a rubber ducky like squeak. Pinkie shifted toward her lover donning a stupid-with-love smile. Her chest rubbing against the griffons, which successfully broke the grip. Her legs wrapped around each side of Gilda’s hip. The wet lips of the nethers kissed. Pinkie’s left arm wrapped around the backside of Gildas neck. This put the duos faces in close proximity without touching. The pony then lifted her arm and used her hoof to tease Gilda’s erect nipple. While Pinkie expected a moan or a grunt all she saw on Gilda’s face was a sad frown. “What’s wrong?” Pinkie asked worried. Gilda didn’t respond. She merely glanced over at Pinkie’s chest, and then back at her own. Pinkie responded with a vampire like attack on Gilda’s neck. Kissing and sucking her way up she eventually reaching the side of the griffons head. “If you think that will stop me from caring for you, you’re more silly than I thought.” Pinkie eyed Gilda with a soft yet determined gaze. The griffon stared back, unsure if the words she heard were true. When she saw that Pinkie was unwavering, her eyes lit back up. “You ready for yours?” Pinkie whispered. “Yes.” Gilda said bracing for impact. Pinkie started to pet the feathers covering Gilda’s head. Her hoof was smooth and light. It teased every last nerve. “Hmm, I love you.” Pinkie muttered. Gilda shuddered with pleasure. “I love you so much.” Pinkie pulled Gilda in, trying to making their bodies one. The griffon vibrated again, feeling a buildup of delightful tension. This feeling was so very refreshing. Pinkies' appendages grew slightly taking up more of the griffons body. Her arms acted as a shield, so even Luna couldn’t see what was happening behind the limbs. Even more than the sexual gratification, Gilda sufficiently meet another need, safety. “I love you more than anypony else.” Pinkie stated in her lover's ear, shaking the lions body again. “Ahh, yes more, PLEASE say it more.” Gilda begged. She didn’t even need to touch herself. The words themselves, and the warm embrace of a hug were more than enough. “I love you, I love you, I love you.” Her voice echoed in the dreamscape, which started to crumble and fade into darkness, signifying the end of the dream. ‘Oh, this is worse than I ever suspected.’ Ponyville in the morning was far more aesthetically pleasing than at night. The lines of trees and burrows from surrounding farms all pointed towards the small town. From above, it appeared as pointed arrows. The landscape saying that this collection of lives was the center of world. During the winter, the beauty is even more apparent, as the whole town twinkles like stars in the night sky. Back at SugarCube Corner, a certain couple began to wake. “Mmm.” the griffon was first to stir blinking her eyes several times. Gilda noticed that she and Pinkie were in the same position they were in when the fell asleep. Her body grew uncomfortable to the point where she reluctantly released her hold. She quickly missed holding the fluffy pony. So she found a new position that was suitable for both of them to enjoy. Without much more thought she lifted Pinkie onto herself, their breasts and foreheads now pressed together. “Uh.” Pinkie Pie followed Gilda into the land of the living. ‘Did I just cope a feel with a pony?’ Gilda adjusted her claw. ‘Yep, I definitely just did. Not bad, I did come here to maul her. I guess spooning with her is a another good alternative. I think I could get use to this. .. Wait, What are you saying? You actually want a relationship? Pfft, that’s just insane. . . Or maybe it’s not. When was the last time anything has shown this much compassion. Sure, it’s not the most logical but fuck it, who needs logic when you have this mare! And maybe she’s just what I need to feel normal. . . For once.’ “Gilda, is everything OK?” Pinkie asked looking worriedly at the spaced out griffon. “Yeah, everything's OK.” she said quickly, snapping back into reality. “Well that’s good.” Pinkie said with a soft smile. “So. . . How did you sleep?” “Oh just fine, did you know your boobs make wonderful pillows?” “No, no I didn’t. But I do know your mane works as scented pillow ” “Aw, thank you. I actually dip it in cotton candy daily.” ‘That’s why it smelt so sweet.’ The room fell silent. Pinkie stared at Gilda with a casual grin, adjusting herself occasionally. Most of the adjustments were the waggling of her hips, which grinned her leg against Gilda's nethers. Not that she was complaining. “So I guess this mean we’re in a thing now?” Gilda asked, but sounded as if she already knew the answer. “Of course, we are friends.” “Well yeah we’re friends. But was thinking of something more than that.” “Best friends? *Sharp inhale* Like bestest best friends!?!” “Pinkie I think you're missing the point here.” “We can go and get ice cream. . . “Pinkie, listen. ” “. . .see movies, go to the beach, eat pastries. . .” “Pinkie Pie, Equestria to Pinkie Pie!” “. . .go butterfly watching, swim in the river,. . .” “You can’t ignore me forever!” “. . .hey since you can fly, and carry me simultaneously, could we take a trip to the griffon kingdom? I’ve never been there, and since you’re a griffon I only that it would be fitting. I always wanted to know about other gri--” Pinkie's rant was cut short as her tongue became occupied by Gilda's. Her eyes shot open in surprise. Inside her mouth a tango of flesh and water sashayed. The pony's eyes began to glaze over, her face blushing an unnatural red. After a what felt like hours, the two lips parted. A single strand of saliva still connecting the two. “This, is what, I meant. I you to be, my special pony.” Gilda said in between pants. “Uh-huh.” Pinkie said in a haze. “Can. . . Can I be your special griffon?” “Uh-huh.” “Wait, is that a yes? That’s a yes! Do you really mean it?!?” “Uh-huh.” “P-Pinkie, thank you so much.” Gilda said with her eyes welling up. “Gilda.” “Yes?” “Can you do that thing with the beak and the tongue and the goody good feelings again?” Gilda happiness played out on her face. She put her claw behind her marefriends head. Slowing moving her and Pinkies face closer to one another. “But why me?” Pinkie asked abruptly, so quick in fact she left Gilda tonguing the air. Said tongue-wielder blushed when she released how odd she must of looked. “Why wouldn’t I?” Gilda answered. “Now, come back here beautiful.” Pinkie pushed her back. “You know I mean. Didn't you say that you hated me yesterday?” “That was yesterday, this is today. Now excuse me while I get that spot at the back of your throat. ” Denied again. “Gilda, there’s something you're not telling me.” “Ugh, why can’t you just accept that I like you?” “I want to but. . . I’m not use to anypony liking me.” “Why do I have a hard time believing that a pony who is constantly smiling, and being nice to everyone, has had difficulty finding colt or marefriend?” “. . .” Pinkies mane formed a shadow over her face. “That’s what I thought. You’re being far t--” “EVERYPONY THINKS I’M A FREAK!” The mare yelled, burying herself into Gildas chest. “Ever since I’ve been in Ponyville I’ve been trying to make friends with everypony I can. And I have a lot of great friends but, I, just don’t have that kind of connection with any of them. They like me because I’m rambunctious and quirky, but when I try to tell them that I like them, they brush it off as Pinkie Pie being Pinkie Pie.” Despite the sobs her words were intelligible. “Pinkie. . .” “I know this isn’t your fault, but I’ve just never had this kind of friendship before. It’s so new to me, I’m afraid of messing it up and losing a friend.” Pinkie confessed, looking at Gilda with uncharacteristically uncertain eyes. “Don’t be like that. We’re both in the same boat, I’ve never been with anyone either. I tried to ask Dash out once, but, it just never panned out correctly. You're not alone in this relationship, and I promise I won’t let you down. As long as you’re with me I will l--lo--” Gilda tried to say but was choked up a bit. Pinkie Pie looked down at the griffon that was well situated beneath her. The old twinkle returned to her eye,and the old shine found it’s place back to her piercing white teeth. Leaning in, they were about to consummate their official relationship when: “Pinkie Pie, we need to talk to you!” “Do you know that’s it’s still morning? What’s with the shouting?!?” A fainter voice screamed. “Ah, shut up, we’re trying to talk to a friend.” “You shut up, ponies are trying to sleep!” “You shut up!” “You shut up!” The couple shared a heartbroken and frustrated look, but Pinkie nevertheless peered outside to see who was calling her. Outside of her window all of her elemental friends stood. They weren’t alone either as Luna accompanied them. The pink mare couldn’t figure out whether it was a good or bad thing. Her friends all wore a face that expressed anger, but also worry. Anything besides a genuine smile was a insufficient for Pinkie, but maybe the weather outside could be the cause for their expressions?. . Pinkie knew her friends too well, and that her flights of fancy wouldn’t help her now. They wouldn’t go through the trouble of standing outside of her house, this early in the morning, during winter, without so much as a scarf, unless it was serious. The presence of Luna only strengthened her hypothesis. ‘But why only Luna? Wouldn’t Celestia come too?’ Pinkie thought, then she started putting the pieces together. ‘Everypony is here the morning after Gilda came back. . . And Luna’s here. . . Did she see my dream?!? Oh no, she knows about us already! So they must be here and unhappy because they don’t approve. They still must dislike Gildy for the party." Pinkie thought as doubt crawled into her mind. Then Gilda's words rung in Pinkie's head: 'You're not alone in this relationship, and I promise I won’t let you down. . .' 'She's right. Any trouble I'm in she'll be there for me. So I need need to be there for her. Prepare everypony, we're take the world head on!’ The pink pony turned to her other. Pinkie smiled and gave her answer to Gilda's unspoken question. “Everypony's here to celebrate the good news!” But I Love Her!Chapter 3: But I Love Her! “Who’s everypony?” Gilda asked warily. “Oh just Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy. . .” Gilda sighed as one name in particular was left off the list. “. . .Rainbow Dash. . .” ‘Shit.’ “. . . And Princess Luna!” Pinkie finished, keeping up her positive disposition. ‘Double Shit.’ Gilda’s mood had a slow but noticeable change. She went from her original calm look, to perturbed, and ending at out right flushed. Her panic quickly got the best of her and she began to give into her flight instinct. Pinkie noticed and tried to point out that nothing bad could possibly happen, but her significant other wasn’t buying it. The griffon tried harder to escape but Pinkie was still on top of her, pinning her down with all the might of an earth pony. A might that the mare wasn’t aware even came close to a griffon. To escape, Gilda would have to remove those hooves holding her down. Quickly she opened her mouth and put it over Pinkies limb. Gilda closed her eyes and tried to bite down. All she got for a response was mad giggling. “Stop it, it tickles, it tickles!” Pinkie cried, tears of laughter falling from her eyes. Gilda couldn’t hurt the pink mare because she could never again want to. ‘At least I got some good info out of this.’ Gilda thought trying to she the silver lining in this cluster she called a cloud. Sighing, Gilda looked up at her marefriend ready to pull out her trump card. A move she didn’t want to resort to. “They’re mad aren’t they? What do you think they’re going to do once we walk out there? I can’t take all of them at once.” she spoke in a voice that was eerily similar to when she mimicked Fluttershy. “Don’t you worry ‘bout a thing Gildy, their good ponies. Besides I’ll be right next to you.” “But--” Pinkie put her hoof over Glida's beak ceasing the potential speech. Her eyes changed from the happy-go-lucky mare to the concerned lover. She let her hoof fall after a few seconds. Her blue eyes entranced the griffons golden ones into a hypnosis. Letting her head fall and turning it in such a way as to make a perpendicular angle with Gilda’s cheek. Pinkie began to whisper. “I care so much for my friends Gildy, I would do anything for them. But I love you, and I won’t let them come anywhere near hurting you. You're the one that said that you'd always be there for me. So I’m always going to be here for you. That’s a Pinkie Promise.” Gilda began to tear up at her words. “Pinkie we need to talk now!” The clear voice of Twilight Sparkle called. “Why are you still yelling?” “Why are you still not shutting up?” A pony other than Twilight countered. Gilda gulped and stood up with Pinkie from the bed. Both of their legs were weak after sleeping. Leaning on one another the duo made their way downstairs and to the front door. The griffon hesitated to grasp the handle of the door, but a reassuring squeeze from Pinkie gave Gilda the courage to turn the handle. Cold air. That was the first thought as the door opened. Gilda instinctively moved Pinkie close to herself to retain warmth. The pony was caught off guard when the large wing wrapped around her. Encompassing Pinkie to the point where her head and her hooves on the ground were visible. They both smiled at one another before they finally came face to face with the crowd outside. “Pinkie!” All of the mares shouted simultaneously. “Wazzup guys.” Pinkie responded. “Griffon! You have five seconds to release her or by my divine right I will end you!” Luna said her eyes glowing white. “Luna I think that might be a bit strong.” Twilight said trying to reason with the alicorn. “What she’s trying to say is that we need to talk about this Pinkie.” “Okay.” “In private.” “Okay.” “Without your new friend.” “Why?” “Because we need to make sure your fine.” “She is perfectly fine with me, it’s you guys who are making a problem out of this!” Gilda declared with a fierce glare. “I never thought you would sink this low Gilda. You made Fluttershy cry, scared granny Smith, attacked Pinkie several times, not to mention the theft and overall meanness to everypony here. Now you’ve kidnapped and brainwashed my friend? Why can’t you get the point, we don’t want you here?” Rainbow Dash said, approaching the couple slowly with every word. Gilda tried to back up away from Dash but Pinkie held her still. The griffon stared into the eyes of her former friend, absorbing every ounce of malice and loathing. A pony that was a good foot shorter than the griffon was getting the better of the hybrid. Even in the winter cold, beads of sweat found their way onto the griffons forehead. She looked for words in her own defense, but they just couldn’t form in any intelligible way. “You know why you can’t say anything? Because there is no defense for you! You did what you did and now you have to deal with it. So get out of Ponyville, and out of our lives!” “I think you should get kicked out of Ponyville for all your damn shouting!” A stallion from a house down the street yelled. “Not you again!” At this time the rest of the group enclosed on the scene. Luna was first to begin the brazen act, marching with a thunderous purpose. Applejack followed close behind next to Twilight and Rarity, who dragged Fluttershy behind her. The elements, with the exception of Fluttershy, demanded answers for various acts of cruelty. Some questions were warranted while others based on rumors and baseless speculation. “What do you say, you pony eating fiend. Are you holding our friend so you can eat her up? Put her in some stew? Or turn her into a satay?” Rarity asked with a harsh partial tone. Gilda and Pinkie blushed. “Um, well, I don’t want to consume her whole.” Gilda explained lamely. “So you are going to eat her, you monster!” Rarity announced dramatically. The group continued arguing until Applejack grew the loudest. “Not to mention you have to answer for your crimes!” “Crimes, what crimes?” “Don’t play stupid. You know exactly what you’ve done. Scaring a poor old mare, my grandmother, and stealing an apple! You have a lot of nerve!” Applejack bellowed. “. . .Really?” “Really.” “Really?!” “REALLY!” “REALLY!” “REALLY!!!” “REALLY!?!” Gilda roared ending the sequence. “Let’s get some things straight. I pranked that old mare. Last time I checked there's nothing wrong with pranking. And the apple thing isn’t even an problem.” “How can you say theft isn’t a problem?” Applejack asked in disbelief. “Let me ask you something, what do griffons eat?” Gildas deadpan delivery left the surrounding area silent. “Uh, I’m not sure, never thought about it I guess.” Applejack said stumped. Rarity unconsciously shrugged her shoulders. Pinkie quirked her eyebrow. Rainbow Dash, and Twilight Sparkle looked away awkwardly while Luna stared unflinchingly. Fluttershy shook with rage barely holding herself back. “We eat meat.” Rarity, Applejack, and even Pinkie Pie gasped. “So you think that stealing an apple is a bad thing. Do you have any idea how hard it is for me just to keep those damn things down? I’ve nearly had to eradicate my gag reflex just to be able to eat here, because once ponies figure out that I need to eat adorable woodland creatures or fish, I’m automatically the bad griffon. So please, I don’t need another lecture on how I’m evil.” “B-But what does this have to do with stealing the apple?” “So you want me to find a job, work that job, and then use the bits I earned to buy ‘food’ that I can barely eat just to continue a miserable life? No, I’m not going to put up with that bullshit. If I have to eat your lame food, I’m just going to take it.” Gilda’s temper began to flare. ‘I didn’t think about that before. Maybe Gildy is suffering more than I thought.’ “Gildy, calm down, nopony is going to judge you, and we don’t see you as a monster. We just want to understand you.” the element of laughter said softly. “Bullshit.” Fluttershy spat contorting her face in a sick glare. There wasn’t one neck that didn’t crack as everypony turned their heads towards the yellow pegasus. “Fluttershy what did you just say?” Twilight asked rhetorically. “I said that Gilda not being a monster is bullshit. Anything that kills poor, innocent, animals when it can subsist on plants is a nothing but a malicious monster!” Fluttershy raged as she stepped through her pony friends to stand directly in front of Gilda, reaching up and poking her in the chest with every other word. “Fluttershy that’s not how we talk to a frie--” “She’s not a friend Pinkie! How could I ever consider somepony who wishes to do such horrible things a friend?” Fluttershy took a deep breath. “I have nothing against Gilda seeing as how you aren't actively eating any animals, but the thought of that as the right way is enough to piss me off. If you have the choice to eat animals or go vegetarian, and then you still pick animals, you're despicable." "Funny, you never acted like this before. Where was all this moxie when I was roaring in your face?" Gilda said with a dark tone. "You were intimidating me, not attacking the animals. Mess with me as much as you want but never hurt the animals . . . You understand right Pinkie” Fluttershy's last statement sent her back into her trademarked shy demeanor. All eyes on her. Like a spotlight burning into her forehead, sight lines from all her friends and lover were on her. Gilda’s eyes spoke volumes on her mixed array of emotions. Something that didn’t go unnoticed by the pink mare. Though Pinkie's smile and overall positive attitude had not changed on the outside. In fact it only seemed to grow wider. All in all everything seemed normal. ‘So this is what everypony believes. . .’ Pinkie thought to herself. “You’re all so stupid!” Pinkie exploded with righteous fury, stepping away from the protection of the large wing. “Pinkie, what’s gotten into you?” Applejack asked her heart beating quickly. “Me, ME? What’s gotten into me? What’s gotten into all of you? Here you come to my home, demand that Gilda and I come out in the freezing cold weather, and you have the gall to patronize us? I had it in my mind that maybe you were here to congratulate us--” “Congratulate you on being captured by Gilda darling, I don’t see why that would ever occur.” “No, you were suppose to congratulate us on our relationship. The fact that I found somepony like Gilda to love me, and the fact I love her.” “From what I know about the griffon. She has come to Ponyville and spread chaos throughout the town. When one of our elements of harmony seemingly aligned herself with that kind of character, what did you expect us to say?” Luna spoke, now irritated by her crushes insolence. “Oh I don’t know maybe;'Oh, we;re happy for you Pinkie’ or ‘We trust you on who you want to love Pinkie’ or maybe even ‘We might not like Gildy but as long as you love her and she loves you, we’ll be there for you two’ would of been nice. I just don’t know why you guys can’t be happy for me.” Pinkie’s eyes began to water yet her rage was still apparent. “Okay, Okay Pinkie we hear you loud and clear. This conversation has gotten way out of control. Come on, let’s all get out of the cold and talk about this inside without yelling at each other.” Twilight’s voice was soft and comforting. Pinkie smiled slightly at that as her burdened heart beat easier for a few moments. The smile brought comfort to the rest of the surrounding ponies. They hugged in a giant group hug with the griffon looking on satisfied. ‘The last thing that I wanted was for Pinkie to lose her friends. Hopefully it’s step in the right direction.’ Gilda thought as the group started to move inside the bake shop. The griffon tried to return to her marefriend, but with every attempt to get close another pony blocked her off. But the sixth sense of Pinkie commanded her attention. She determined what the problem was fairly quickly, and demanded that her friends step aside. They did so reluctantly, and the couple walked in first. The group made their way up the stairs into the bedroom. Opening the door both Gilda and Pinkie noticed something about the bedroom that made their eyes bulge. It smelt like them. Looking back they saw that their guests were rapidly approaching. Gilda made the first move and rushed over to the window. With her giant wings she forcibly aired out the room. Pinkie on the hand took an air freshener from some extremity of the room and sprayed like mad. Twilight lead the herd into the room. She saw the couple sitting on the bed with gigantic nervous smiles. Her naturally skeptical mind told her to question what was happening but she couldn’t help but to be distracted by a strange scent in the chilled air. It was a mixture of cotton candy, snozberries and . . . Twilight turned red and maybe just a little wet. Luna came next, ignoring everything but the elephant in the room. “So, you say that you want this griffon to be your mate?” “Yes.” The pink pony stated. “And you supposedly love her, correct?” Luna continued her inquiries as the rest of the elements filed in. “I do.” “How can you possibly know that after such a short time with one another.” this time the question was met with a sideways squint. “Well I, it’s not that I, well. . .” Pinkie tripped over her words. “Do you even really love her Pinkie? I think it might be a little too soon to say that.” Rarity said calmly. “. . .” “It doesn’t really matter if we can say it makes sense or put it into words. Can’t we just know that we care for each other?” Gilda said pulling Pinkie closer to her own body. A select few mares flashed a quick smile. “We just don’t want our friend to get into something that shes not ready for.” Applejack said her voice far more understanding . “Girls I’m happy that you care about me so much. But you can trust me to make the right decision here. Even if I can’t explain why I love her, I can tell you without a doubt that she makes me happy.” Pinkie squeezed Gilda making the griffon squawk, half of the room responded with an ‘Awh’ The room was silent with each mare trading looks with one another. Three mares already came to their decision. “You’re right darling. We, as your friends, should back your decisions even if we don’t understand it. I’m sorry Gilda for jumping to conclusions before. Could you forgive me?” Rarity asked with big eyes. “Y-Y-Yeah, of course!” Gilda said with pleasant surprise. “I guess we did jump to a conclusion, I’m sorry too Gilda.” Twilight spoke next. "And maybe this whole situation would of been handled better if our source of information wasn't so vehement towards one side." Luna's fascination for the ceiling grew tenfold. She also decided to take whistling as a new hobbie. “Yeah, I’m in the same boat as Twi’ and Rares.” “I don’t know what to say. Thank you.” Gilda said, stifling a sniffle. A frustrated grown broke the moment. “This is not happening. Pinkie, you have officially lost it!” Rainbow yelled her exasperation clear in her voice. “I agree with Rainbow Dash. The validity of this relationship is still in question.” Luna said. Fluttershy nodded weakly. “For the love of, what will it take to convince you?!? Here I’ll show you!” Gilda yelled as she looked over at Pinkie. Pinkie Pie who sat beside Gilda on her bed looked at her griffon with confusion. That soon ended as Gilda started, to the untrained eye, ‘eat her face off’. Once Pinkie gathered her bearings, her mood change turned a one sided kiss into a full out face-eating contest. Their tongues moved in an exaggerated manner to make the loudest noises possible. All the other mares in the room shifted their legs and tried to hide their red faces. Both Pinkie and Gilda's arms found themselves kneading both pink and brown breasts. The aforementioned mounds tips stood tall like a cherry on top a cake, as they slowly rotated in a clockwise movement. Gilda's chocolate colored breasts were quickly being pushed in and popping out like the tides on a beach. Then the pink mare broke the kiss and leaned over to put the brown mound in her mo-- “That’s enough!” Rainbow yelled with a red tint on her cyan coat. “Oh, but I thought you wanted to know if I was being sincere, what’s wrong now?” Gilda said innocently with a bit of Pinkie dripping from her beak. “Yeah, what she said.” Pinkie disappointed that she didn’t get her chocolate treat. “Love isn’t just about bucking each other." Rainbow and, surprisingly, Fluttershy combined exclaimed. “What do you want from us?” The inter-species couple asked. “I have one Idea that will settle this once and for all.” Luna interjected grabbing the attention of everypony in the room. “We need to speak with the ambassador of love herself, Princess Mi Amore Cadenza.” “. . .Who?” You Know Nothing About Us!Chapter 4: You Know Nothing About Us! The train on it’s way to Canterlot spread itself across a shimmering silver railroad. It’s rainbow color contrasted abruptly the plentiful white fields and hills in the surrounding area. Trees lined along side held a small variety of white shine. A billowing of light grey smoke adorned the train like a lengthy top hat. Inside each of the many carts a myriad of passenger ponies sat. Except one cart. That was reserved for the Princess of the night and her guests. One would think that a room full of close friends were be loud with the buzz of conversation. But that would be incorrect for this cart contained a palpable awkward silence. Each pony sat uniformly in their seats. Pinkie, Gilda, and Twilight Sparkle sharing one bench. Across from them Luna, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy sat. On the other side of the aisle on the same side of the inter-species couple sat Applejack, Apple Bloom, and Sweetie Belle. Opposite them was Rarity, Spike, and Scootaloo. “Why are you girls coming again?” Rarity asked, piercing the silence of the air, waiting for a prepared response. “To learn a lesson about the Canterlot royalty and learn about love.” The CMC spoke as if operating as a hive mind. “Was it really smart to bring them? Isn’t this a little mature for school filly’s?” Twilight asked choosing her words carefully. “Yes Twilight, I surely couldn’t be expected to leave my poor sweet sister home alone.” “And with Granny Smith and Big Macintosh out of town for that family reunion, I couldn’t leave Apple Bloom alone either.” “I still don’t get why we couldn’t go to that.” Apple Bloom said not disappointed, but perplexed. “Apple Seed only had a small area of land to use for the reunion, so she could only invite a few ponies. And the last time she saw our family was when Big Mac was really young, she probably doesn’t even know we exist.” Applejack stated, earning a head nod from Apple Bloom. “I felt lonely without them, I hope it’s okay I hitched along.” Scootaloo said softly. “No, of course it’s okay, I brought Spike alone too so I guess it’s only fair. Just forget I said anything.” Silence fell over the group again. Everyone refused to make eye contact with one another. Even Princess Luna blushed when she would eye contact with Pinkie. It wasn’t until the griffon herself felt the undeniable call to say something. “You know what, I’m sick of this. Even if this Mi Amore Ca-whatever says that Pinkie and I are legit, you still won’t let us be together.” Gildas eyes were focusing on the three mares in front of her. “. . .” Fluttershy adjusted herself in silence. “Blasphemy, are you saying that we won’t stay true to our word!” Luna exclaimed leaning halfway in between the two benches. “That’s exactly what I’m saying. You hate me and will never allow Pinkie and I to be together!” Gilda retorted meeting Luna in the middle. Despite the fact that Luna was all around bigger than the griffon, it didn’t stop Gilda from standing her ground. The two stared into one anothers eyes daring the other to make one move. Conversations from other carts could be made out clearly from the reserved one. No one dare make a move. “Gildy, please calm down. Once we get to Canterlot and get this whole situation worked out, we can be together and we can through a party! Heh, heh, hoooo.” Pinkie’s words felt hollow even to her. “Princess Luna, if I could say something.” Fluttershys' meek voice squeaked. “What!?!” Luna yelled, immediately turning down the intensity when she saw the effect on Fluttershy. “I-I-I-I w-w-wa-as just w-w-wondering wh-h-ho Princess Mi-Mi-Mi Amore Cadenza was?” Luna blinked. “That’s right, you all asked that about that before didn’t you?” Luna’s question received a unanimous head nod, even by Gilda who was pulled back down by Pinkie. Luna calmed herself before she sat down. She began to explain the history of the once pegasus turned alicorn, her mastery over love, and the plans for her rule. The ponies asked the standard questions about the princess like where she would rule, what this meant for the diarchy, and how in the world did a pegasus become an alicorn. All these questions Luna shrugged off as things not necessary to know. Gilda was not amused. “So this princess is just like you and Celestia? Yay! An uppity snob from Canterlot that doesn’t know the first thing about a relationship, is going to judge us? Yeah, this is just peachy.” “Of course your ignorance made you look stupid again. If you knew anything about her you would know that she is in a committed relationship with a respectable stallion.” Twilight cocked an eyebrow. “Wait, a princess is actually in a relationship with somepony else? I haven’t even heard rumors that Celestia is taking interest in a romantic relationship, same with you. I just thought that princesses had to refrain from that kind of behavior.” Twilight confessed. “Just because we’re alicorns doesn’t mean that we don’t feel just like other ponies. It’s just harder for us to express our feelings do to our positions. I for one am happy for Shining Armor and Mi Amore Cadenza.” “Ah Luna, what was the name of that stallion again?” Twilight said with a smile two sizes too big. “Shinning Armor.” “What?” “SHINING ARMOR.” “What?” “Damn it Twilight, I said Shin--” A scream, not shrieky but still terrifying, from the teenage mare shook the landscape and almost knocked the train off the tracks. ‘When I get my hooves on him, I swear I’ll. . .’ Twilight’s thoughts became too sinister for print, as she quickly stomped off the train onto the platform. . That train had arrived at the station no more than three seconds before Twilight gotten off. That speed record was something no one else on the train could challenge. The very air around the lavender unicorn was toxic. In their seats the rest of the occupants stayed plastered. “What is up with her?” Gilda asked shakily to the pink pony she hung onto. “I don’t know, I haven’t seen that kind of anger from her.” Pinkie replied grabbing onto her griffon-friend with equal tightness. The rest of the group were silent except for the chattering of their teeth. The CMC, Rarity, and Applejack all held each other for comfort. Fluttershy tried to hide herself in Rainbow’s chest, while the cyan pegasus buried her head in a fluffy pink mane. Luna merely sat their astonished at the event before her. Her faced turned into a hue of red the more she went over in her thoughts. Those same thoughts prohibited her to care about the outside world, demanding her full attention. Like so many of the dreams she had entered, Luna’s curiosity about her new habitat was peaked. However this environment held no landscape but merely noise. The roar of the mare from a dozen minutes ago. It was glorious. The definition of the voice. It’s forceful penetration of the air. It’s all encompassing quality, wrapping the body of the alicorn mare like a thick blanket around a filly in winter. It reminded Luna of her own ‘Canterlot Royalty’ voice. No one these days understood the voices worth. It was something that demanded everything it wanted, and would receive nothing less. Luna always wondered if another stallion could fill this task. But, alas, all fell short of what she truly wanted, no matter how many times she called out for it. Now however was different. This mare who didn’t exemplify any capability beyond an irritated growl now mastered this wonderful voice. Luna must have her. “Uh, Princess, you’re drooling a bit.” Applejacks voice barely found it’s way through the fog riddled maze that was Luna’s consciousness. “Huh, wha. . . Where’s Twilight Sparkle!” Luna asked rhetorically as she looked out the window, just catching the last bit of a purple tail rounding a corner. Quickly Luna shot out of the cart onto the platform, shouting for unicorn to stop. What the passengers heard is the second noise that day that wouldn’t be forgotten anytime soon. “Take me! Please take me! Rut me here and now!” “. . .” “What in the fuck is going on here!?!” Gilda’s exasperation felt like a vice on her head. “The writer couldn’t think of a creative way for Luna to lose her feelings for me, so he’s hoping that the readers will ignore that subplot entirely by introducing a popular shipping pair.” Pinkie stated. Gilda stared blankly at her partner who requested that the comment be forgotten. Abiding by the request the griffon looked over at the rest of the party. “Well, are we going or what?” Cadence didn’t have time for this shit. She had events to plan and husband to look over. She had so many things to do after she announced her wedding that her body was starting to feel the toll. She retreated to her luxurious bedroom, already filled with mannequins donning potential dresses for her big day. Cadence sat on her extravagant bed to contemplate. ‘Why am I doing this again.’ She asked herself looking at the picture of Shining Armor and giggling perversely. ‘Oh that’s why. I guess that and he supplies me with all the love I could possibly need.’ “Princess Cadence, so sorry to disturb you but you have ponies out here demanding your presence.” a servant pony said pushing in the tall dual doors. “Ugh, if it’s another noble tell them that I have no time for their petty squabbles.” “It’s not any of them Princess, it’s the element of magic!” Cadence looked over at the pony with new interest in her eyes. “You don’t say, well then, tell them I will meet them in the royal chambers.” With a courteous head bow head bow the servant left the room. Cadence was left in a silent room to contemplate the new developments, Developments that could only be made at the head of the bed, snuggled up to a pillow. It was a feeling the griffon knew all too well. Eyes drilling in the back of her head. Feeling as if she was a freak experiment that everyone could gawk at. Of course when she would look back at them, including the royal guard, they would immediately avert their gaze. ‘Dweebs.’ The palace was expectantly magnificent. The group consisted of the CMC, most of the elements of harmony, and one very out of place griffon. Mostly because the group Rainbow Dash walked between them ever since they stepped off the train. This didn’t stop them from trying to reunite, but almost all attempts ended in vain. It didn’t help that the imposing royal guard would accuse the griffon of assault when she hugged Pinkie, who got her lover out of a scrap by giving the guards the ‘Pink’ eye, which was just a Pinkie Pie glare. The CMC were going ballistic in the long corridor. Running every which direction, touching everything in sight. If they weren't so young, the guards might of went to the Princesses with a sexual harassment lawsuit. While the filly’s filled their brains with all of the new information, the marshmallow unicorn fawned over the luxurious decor so much she needed her earth pony friend to prop her up. Applejack was indifferent. The hallway seemed to stretch forever as the even the filly’s began to lose energy getting to their destination. But just as they were going to give up hope, a large hall with a throne in the middle came into sight. ‘This is it.’ Pinkie and Gilda thought simultaneously As they ever closer the view of a pink alicorn sitting on the throne came into view. Not only that, but a midnight blue alicorn, and a lavender unicorn. Speaking of the latter, no one could be sure but it looked like she was shaking her rump in the general direction of the Princess. “. . . and do a little shake.” Twilight said before falling into a fit of giggles, much to the relief of her pony friends. “Hey Twi! Does this mean you’re not mad anymore?” Applejack called out, slightly hesitant, but still gaining Twilight’s attention. “Oh hey girls, I got great news! My brothers marrying Cadence!” Twilight rushed the group nearly bowling them over. “That’s great darling. . . Who’s Cadence?” “Wait, I haven’t told you about her? She’s only the most kind, gentle, and loving foal-sitter of all time!” Twilight’s excitement could barely be contained. Pinkie and Gilda smiled to themselves. Maybe this pony would be able to see that, while their relationship might be very young, that their love is genuine. Twilight then invited the group to approach the throne. They proceeded to do so, passing by Luna who still had the smitten look on her face. “What is this intrusion for? And why do I have a griffon in my court?” Cadence asked impatiently sitting high up on her throne. “My name is Gilda, and we came to you so you could end our problem.” Gilda spoke in an unexpectedly serious tone. “Oh, and what would that problem be?” “While we already know the answer, we need you to tell these ponies that our love is legitimate.” Gilda said giving a quick peck on the cheek to a blushing Pinkie who gave a similar answer. ‘I thought I smelled something delicious walking in here. Inter-species relationships are delightful, especially when it’s intensified with a rebellious spirit. This is going to be fun.’ Cadence thoughts graced a smile on her lips. The princess of love sat there, staring at the lovers. Her eyes squinted as if looking directly into the sun. Her pink hoof rubbed along the bottom of her chin. Everyone began to sweat, except the Princess of the night who was still absorbed in her affection, eagerly awaiting the judgement. “To answer your question ‘is this love legitimate?’’“ Everyone leaned in. “No.” “HA! CALLED IT!” Dash exclaimed jumping into the air. “What, b-b-but how?” Pinkie shock was complemented by the boastful griffons silence. “I am the Princess of love and you asked me whether your love was real and I gave you my answer. I don’t see how a pony could love a wild animal such as this. What’s the problem?” Cadences eyebrow quirked. The cyan pegasus had already taken to her air in celebration. She had also took Fluttershy as a willing captive, a wide smile on her face. This happiness was not shared by the rest of the group who look disappointed. Gilda’s silence spoke enough for her. But it was Pinkie and her violent trembling that was most noticeable. “How could everypony be so stupid. They just don’t understand that this has nothing to do with them. I LOVE GILDA, PERIOD! I DON’T CARE WHAT THE IN THE HELL ANYPONY ELSE THINKS!” Her hair deflated. “You think that we’re lying, we’ll show you how wrong you are!” Pinkie quickly dipped Gilda in front of herself, suspending her from the ground with her own two hooves. “P-P-Pinkie, what are you doing?” Gilda chirped. “I’m showing them how much of a wild animal I am.” Then they fucked.
Social Norms, Ha!Chapter 1: Social Norms, HA!
“Everypony's here to celebrate the good news!”
But I Love Her!Chapter 3: But I Love Her! “We need to speak with the ambassador of love herself, Princess Mi Amore Cadenza.” “. . .Who?”
You Know Nothing About Us!Chapter 4: You Know Nothing About Us!
