Return of the Nightby ClyobateChaptersChapter 1- It begins!Chapter 3: Mere FillerPrologueChapter 4: Getting a Bit TiredChapter 1- It begins!“This is your new day! Darkness! Never ending darkness!” Nightmare Moon bellowed in the distance. Twilight could hear it even from Canterlot. “Alright girls, if you need to know why you're all here, it's because we need to find the Elements of Harmony.” Twilight explained. “Oh, where have they gone?” Fluttershy asked in her normal manner of concern. “That's exactly why I've called you all here. I have no idea.” Twilight replied. “Can't ya use yer fancy magics ta find 'em?” Applejack asked. That's a great idea! Oh, am I glad my crown is still here!” Twilight exclaimed, and with that, levitated her crown downstairs and used her locator spell on the crown and a magic map appeared out of nowhere. The first destination was the most dangerous. “It seems the first element we have to find is in... the Everfree Forest!” Twilight exclaimed in worry. Chapter 3: Mere FillerLeaving the Everfree Forest, they, for the last time that night, heard Nightmare Moon scream something. Although, they couldn't hear it once again. They had just got back to Twilight's home, and Twilight had decided that they could stay there for the duration of this journey. “Isn’t this fun? It'll be like a mega party!” Pinkie Pie exclaimed. “Don’t get too excited. This will only be for a little while.” Twilight replied, with Pinkie now having a depressed face. Don' think like that, sugarcube. It's not cause we don' like ya or nothin'! It's just that parties can't last forever.” Applejack replied simply to Pinkie's depressed look of sadness. “I guess that really makes sense!” Pinkie replied with a chuckle. “Alright, so. That leaves us with four more elements to find. Where do you girls think it could be?” Twilight stated with a serious face. “Hmmmm... Mayhaps it could be in Canterlot?” Rarity replied with a glimmer of hope. “Well, I guess that's where were going, according to the map.” Twilight replied. Rarity squeed in delight. “Bleh,” was all Rainbow Dash could say about all that. PrologueIt was dark. Nopony knew why, though. It just was. Everypony's clock said it was about noon. But Twilight Sparkle was the first to figure out why. When she did however, she couldn't find them. The Elements of Harmony. She knew very well that they were right by her bedside in their glass case. But the only one that was there was her crown. Deciding to call her friends together, she first had to gather enough magical energy to light up even her own home, nonetheless most of Ponyville, and all that work for only one town? She had to get a letter to Princess Celestia as soon as possible. “Spike! Take a letter please!” The purple mare exclaimed, waking up Spike from his afternoon nap. “Wha... who?” Spike answered drowsily. “I said, 'take a letter please.'” “Alright Alright...” he answered grumpily. “Dear Princess Celestia, I'm not quite sure what you've done, or even if you've noticed, you might be locked in the sun again by Nightmare Moon, as she has returned, and because she has returned we need the Elements of Harmony, but I don't know where they went other than my crown. The last time I checked they were by my bedside in their case. Your faithful student, Twilight Sparkle” And with that, the letter was off to Celestia. Chapter 4: Getting a Bit Tired“Bleh” Rainbow Dash stated, once again, although louder once they had made it to Canterlot. In case you can't tell, she doesn't particularly like these kind of places. The darkness made it bearable though. She couldn't see past Twilight's barrier of light. “Well, at least the darkness makes it better. Hey Twi, why don't we get your special goggles?” “Because you aren't the ones leading or casting the spell.” Twilight replied bluntly. “Well Twi, that's pretty rude.” Rainbow Dash replied. “Also, this is my only pair.” Twilight added. “Well, that makes more sense.” Rainbow Dash said after thinking about it. "And that's why I'm in the lead. I think about the things I say and do." Twilight finished with the smallest note of annoyance. "That just ain't right, sugarcube. That sounded like an insult." Applejack defended. "Well... ummm... oh look! The thing at the place were we get the element!" Twilight quickly thought and said. She hadn't even thought, but before that thought they really were there. Her friends were none the wiser. "Uh, Twi, you sure about that? Because I don't see it..." Rainbow Dash stated. "That's because my light range doesn't go far enough." Twilight stated. She really had no idea where it was. "Yep, there it is! I see it straight ahead!" And there it was. Twilight's hooves came to a screeching halt as before her was Canterlot Castle. She gazed at it with awe as Rainbow softly landed next to Twilight. Tilting her head Rainbow frowned "So... this is what we needed?" Rainbow asked thinking it wasn't. "Of course it is! But there has to be some kind of trick to get in, because Nightmare Moon has most likely trapped and taken over the whole thing." With that she started to walk around the castle, sharp eyes examining it leaving her friends to look at Twilight as she left her friends partially in the dark. She stopped, bumping into her friends as she had walked around the entire castle. "Well, can we get a move on!?" Dash's irritated voice filled the darkness as she flicked her tail. "If we get too hasty, it could set something off, so I'm with Twilight on this one. Slow, steady, and thoughtful." Rarity said.
