Nothingness is a cold, and merciless wasteland. Nothing but a small bright glimmer of light existed, and that was it. Then everything suddenly started to expand and grow until it released matter in an life giving explosion. Matter started to swirl due to a new force called gravity, it created stars, planets, and even our first being to ever see this new universe.
A single point of matter came to a stop and started to pull over more matter and it swirled around this one particular atom. Then it sucked in other atoms like a vacuum until the shape of a pony formed. It was only a silhouette of one because it was a soft milky color, unlike the bright stars. Then it stopped glowing to reveal an alicorn mare. She was white in the center of her body while her fur slowly turned orange and finally on the edge of her features she was a dark blue. Her mane and tail looked like bright purple nebula.
She shook her head awake and looked around confused, but there was only one thought was in her mind, create. This mare manipulated matter into a solar system, she first created a planet and motioned atoms to create plants, but they soon died from lack of sunlight. Pondering for a moment, she created a star for the planet to circle around and then created plants once more, but the UV light of the sun burned them to a crisp. Simply confused for a moment she thought once again.
After about 45 minutes she created another large space rock but smaller to orbit around the larger planet. The mare then used this moon to store energy to form a force field around her creation. Landing on the desolate planet, she noticed that the force field blocked out light from the stars and therefore made the night boring to her. She made it so the force field sparkled to create a look of stars in the sky.
The mare made constellations for the rest of the night, but the night lasted 4 years. Looking around on the fourth year confused she then used some magic from her horn to make the planet spin until the warmth of the star that she created covered the desolate wasteland. Then she created plants to release oxygen into the atmosphere. Tiny microbes began to form into larger creatures such as worms and butterflies. She continued to create her world for the next 5000 million years.
After the dawn of the 5000 millionth year she began to grow weary from her efforts to create. She needed to rest, so she created 2 other ponies to look after the moon’s force field and the planet’s rotation. One appeared in a brilliant white flash of light while a couple seconds later one appeared in a blue mist that faded into sparkles. They both looked at each other and then at their creator.
“What shall our names be?” the dark blue alicorn said to their mother while the white alicorn nodded her head in agreement.
Their mother looked at the white goddess and said “You shall be Celestial Sunshine while the other one shall be called Lunar Glory.” The creator transferred her knowledge of the planet and moon over to the other two.
“Lunar Glory, you will look after the moon while Celestial sunshine shall look over the sun.” Their mother explained to them.
Celestial Sunshine looked at her mother and said in a sweet voice, “ What about your name mother?”
