Prologue
If you ever watched my little pony and joined the brony fandom, you’ve probably wondered one thing: What if the main six never became friends? Well my friends, if you are reading this fanfic, then I am about to answer that question. So prepare yourself for my very first, and probably not last, fanfic, Harmonic Destruction, if you haven’t left yet, then enjoy Act one.

Act One: Darkness Unfolds
It was a fateful day, when twilight sparkle was in Canterlot. She didn’t know why, but something just felled
off, like something just didn’t add up. As twilight began galloping towards her library, she was quickly
stopped by a guard, asking about a recent string of murders.

“Excuse me; I was wondering if you knew anything about a recent string of murders.” Asked the guard.

“Look buddy, I don’t have time for this, and I don’t know anything about these murders!” Exclaimed
twilight, and quickly galloped past the guard. Spike had no clue what twilight was talking about, he
wanted to ask what the rush was about, but he didn’t, and instead, looked simply ahead. As twilight
entered the library, she quickly found the book about the elements of harmony, and started to read it. The
more she read, the more she found out. She quickly linked the “off” feeling to nightmare moon’s soon
arrival.

“Spike! Quickly write a letter to Celestia for me!” Twilight exclaimed.

“Uh… Uh… Okay Twilight” Spike responded.

“Dear princess Celestia, I have recently discovered that nightmare moon shall be arriving soon, and
demand that we cancel the summer sunset celebration, to make sure she does not try to enslave all of
Ponyville.” Twilight told spike.
As spike sent the letter, twilight looked out the window, to watch the birds Fly. But the birds were not flying; they stood perched on the trees, looking like they just say a ghost! Twilight quickly shrugged it off, doubting it could be anything serious. As twilight was looking, a letter from Celestia arrived, and as twilight opened it, she was clearly upset.

“What? What’s the matter?” Spike asked.

"She doesn’t believe me, and is sending me to Ponyville to make me stop studying so much!” Twilight
exclaimed.

“What?! She doesn’t believe you? That’s a first” Spike said.

Twilight sighed, and then said. “Come on spike, let’s get packed up.” As twilight was packing, she thought it very odd for Celestia too not believe her, since twilight was her best student. They put their things on the chariot and started for Ponyville.

“Spike, do you think Celestia didn’t actually send me that letter?” Twilight asked.

“What do you mean twilight?” Asked Spike.

“Well, it not like her to not believe me, it’s just not how she acts.” Twilight replied. “Well, I’m sure that if it

wasn’t princess, you would know twilight.” Spike replied.

“That’s what I’m worried about spike.” Said twilight. As they landed in Ponyville, twilight kept wondering if
it was really Celestia who sent that letter.

“Come on twilight, it’s not that bad, I’m sure there are LOADS of cool ponies to talk to.” Spike told twilight.

“Hm, well… I don’t know.” Twilight responded. At that exact moment, pinkie pie walked past.

“Here, try talking to her, she might be interesting.” Spike said.

“Uh… Hello, my name is” Twilight was rudely interrupted by pinkie pie jumping and then gasping.

“Are you ok?” Twilight asked, but pinkie was already gone.

“Where did she go?” Spike asked twilight.

“I don’t know spike, but there is something off about these ponies.” Twilight replied.

Twilight choose to go directly to the library, instead of checking out the town.

“Alright, let’s see here, Elements of harmony… Wait… They aren’t in this book” Said twilight.
And this confused her, for she had just read about them at the library in Canterlot. Why were they not
here?

“This must be a mistake” Twilight exclaimed.

“Elements of harmony… Nope, never heard of them.” Spike said.

"But… that must be a mistake” Replied twilight.

“Nope, no mistake” Said spike.

“But…. How?” Wondered twilight
