Rebuilding a Rainbow

In the peaceful night of Ponyville, the streets were silent. Everypony was asleep. In the distance there was a cloud house, and Noises were heard, sounding like somepony was having trouble sleeping. in the house, Rainbow Dash was tossing and turning in her sleep mumbling. "NNNGH, NO, PLEASE, DON'T HIT ME!" she said. it was like Rainbow was having a nightmare.

Years Ago

In a neighborhood in Cloudsdale, there were sounds of a teen filly crying in a house at the end of the block. In the house a Stallion who looked like they've been drinking Equestrian beer. he was seen talking to his daughter. "You know what I think? I think you are not special. What happen to your precious mother? HUH?" he said

"YOU MADE HER MOVE OUT! YOU EVEN TOLD THE COURT SHE IS A UNFIT PARENT, YOU EVEN ABUSE ME. YOU KNOW WHAT, AS SOON AS I MOVE OUT, YOU'LL BE SORRY I HAVE THREE WORDS, I. HATE. YOU!"

"Oh, so you think your mother was a better parent, Am I The Villain?"

"SHUT UP! YOU ALWAYS ABUSE ME."

This time, this angered him. To him, his daughter just spoke out of line. "You know what happens now Rainbow Dash.'

Rainbow gulped and started to run to the door. But it was to late. Her father tackled her. He then started punching her. Rainbow was begging for mercy but he didn't stop. A minute later he stopped. "HOPE YOU LEARNED YOU"RE LESSON." he said

"Rainbow Dash, what happened?" said Rainbows friend Fluttershy, who was holding an ice pack on Rainbow

"Dad did it again. He...he's abusing me.....this is making me want to commit suicide."

Fluttershy gasped. Her friend is being driven to suicidal thoughts. She felt sorry for her. "H....Have you thought of telling the Cloudsdale Police?" Asked Fluttershy?

"I can't. If I did, my dad would kill me."

Fluttershy paused. Rainbow was right, she can't unless she wants to risk her life. She then came up with the idea. She decided that once they Complete Flight school, She would secretly go to the Cloudsdale Police Station and have Rainbows Dad Arrested for Assault, Battery, and Child Abuse. That would cheer Rainbow up. She just had to wait

Rainbows dad Arrested

Its been months and the abuse has been going on more. Fluttershy did what she promised Rainbow. She went to the Police Station. The Officers thought she was lost, but Fluttershy told them That her friend is being Abused and Victim of Assault and Battery. The officers were shocked. When they asked for a picture of the victim, she showed them a picture of Rainbow Dash from the assault and battery. She even gave them the suspects Name. The officers called a group of officers to go to Rainbow Flares House.

At Rainbows house. Her father was yet again abusing her. Suddenly there was a banging on the door and a group of Police Officers came in. "FREEZE YOU ARE SURROUNDED." said one of the officers. Suddenly Rainbow Flare grabbed her daughter by the Neck.

"ONE MORE STEP AND SHE DIES."

Suddenly a officer came from behind and Tased Rainbow Flare with a taser that is specialy designed for peasus to use. Rainbow Flare let go of Rainbow Dash and he went in to shock. he fell on the floor. "Your under arrest for Domestic battery, Assault, and Child abuse." said the office. Rainbow Flare wasn't finished yet. he walked up to Rainbow and looked her in the eye.

"NO PLEASE! Don't hit me" Said Rainbow Dash

"Sorry Dash, you deserved this.

Rainbow Flare then Punched His daughter and she was Knocked out

"NO." Shouted Rainbow. She woke up, and it was morning. She was Sweating in fear. "Ugh why that memory, its been Haunting me for Years now." Thought Rainbow. Tank then came into Rainbows room. He saw Rainbow and he looked worried. "Relax tank.... I just had a nightmare of a memory." she said

Rainbow got out of bed. She had tears in her eyes. The memory has been traumatizing her ever since she was little and even in her teens. She was worried. "Ugh....I need to see Twilight, maybe she would help me with this. Even if I have feelings for her and I like mares, She can help me." Rainbow said to herself.

Rainbow took a bath and then got dried off. She then got prepared to head to Twilight's, she knew Twilight would help her with this issue.

Twilight was seen in the kitchen having Coffee and dounuts. Spike was doing his Daily routine. Suddenly there was a Knock at the door. Twilight looked at the door. "Who is it?" she asked

"Twi, open the door. It's me." Said Rainbow

Twilight then got up and went to the door. she saw Rainbow. "Hey there Dash, how have you......been? Dash, are you Okay?' asked twilight. Twilight noticed Rainbow had tears in her eyes, and she was looking at the ground like she was hurt.

"*sigh* I'm...being haunted by a memory."

"Dash...if you don't want to talk about it, it's okay. I know that these have happened before and you told me, I just don't want you to forced yourself. It can't be good for you"

"I....want to let it off my chest. its been bugging me for years now. even it's been interfering with my sleep."

Twilight was stunned. She heard the pain in her. She couldn't let her friend hold on to it any longer. "Come in, we can talk about it."

Rainbow came in and Twilight said to sit on the couch. Twilight sat by her. "Now tell me whats wrong." Twilight said in a concerned voice.

"*Sigh* I'm being haunted by a memory that has been traumatizing me for years now, a memory, of my relationship with my father."

"What...what about it?"

Rainbow Dash then started talking about the very beginning. How her father ruined her mother, how he lied to the court about her being an unfit parent, how he lied his way to gaining custody of Rainbow and so on. Rainbow then began telling her, that her father was abusive. How her father always beats her up both when he is drunk and sober, her father commiting battery on her and so forth. Twilight was shocked. Rainbow was being haunted by all the things that happen to her. Rainbow mention that her father once threatened to kill her. Twilight went wide eyed, Rainbows father attempted to murder Rainbow. Rainbow then continued and as Twilight was Listening her heart was hammering. "Dear Celestia, I'm in love with her now." thought Twilight.

"*sniff* So in the end....My Dad was arrested. I later got word he was Found Guilty by the cops, he was sentenced to Life in prison. I was forced to move out of Cloudsdale for a reason and I resided with Fluttershy until I made my house." Rainbow said in a sorrow manner.

Twilight saw Rainbow crying, she was hurt. now Twilight was sharing the pain. "Does....does anypony else know?" asked Twilight.

"*sinff* Only Fluttershy and Princess Celestia. Celestia was the the one holding the Trial that became known as the JL-4 incident. As for Fluttershy, she was the one that told the police for me. She knew the pain and suffering I was going through. I will admit, the incident left a scar on my life. But i can't believe my dad had destroyed my life, my dreams, everything. He even said i'm not special. it hurts Twi."

Twilight was now heartbroken. She felt sorry for Rainbow. Rainbow lived a miserable life due to her fathers actions, and behavior. She noted that Rainbow was suffering from a great deal of depression. But what shocked her was when Rainbow mentioned she was being driven to suicidal thoughts once. Now Twilight was hurt. She then hugged Rainbow. "Rainbow. i'm.....i'm so sorry you went through this Traumatizing experience." said Twilight.

Rainbow then hugged Twilight backed, even though she was still tearing up. "Thanks. I.....I really need to tell you that, I knew you were able to help. even since he destroyed my life, it still hurts me."

"Don't worry... it's over remember?"

"But....*sniff* he Destroyed my life. I been trying to live a new life."

Twilight thought hard. Rainbow was trying to start a new life, but it keeps stopping because of her father. "What if I help you rebuild your Life"

"Twi, wha...what do you mean?"

"I mean what if i'm able to help you with a new life? You know, rebuild it. You been trying to but can't. Thats why I'm asking."

"Twi....are you saying... Wait. YOU LOVE ME!"

Twilight saw the look in Rainbows eyes, the look of pain. She knew her friend needed somepony to be by her side and help her rebuild her life from the ashes. "I came this Far, i can't turn back." she thought to herself. she then looked at Rainbow. "Of Course, I...I do love you, Rainbow."

Rainbows heart was beating. She then saw Twilight come close, and Started to kiss Rainbow.
