Rebuilding a Rainbow

Days went by, and Twilight and Rainbow Dash were really admiring each other. Ever since Twilight made Rainbows dream come true, Rainbow started to really love Twilight. Rainbow on the other hand was stuck in thought. She was trying to decide what she wants to do with Twilight. In Rainbows mind, she still had little fear that her father was still on the lose. But the other day, Twilight and Rainbow received a letter from Celestia stating that one of the guards came back injured saying that it seems that Rainbow Flare is a lot stronger then before. However the worst part is that Flare had left manehattan and is now on the move to Ponyville, which she said if he's near ponyville she will put Ponyville in lockdown.

Now, it was a cold friday afternoon, and both Rainbow and Twilight were in Twilights bed with a blanket under the sheets, trying to stay warm. the two mares were reading, Rainbow was reading a Daring Do book while Twilight was reading another book next to Rainbow. Spike on the other hand went with Rarity to look for gems. When Rainbow was reading, she kept looking away and looking at Twilight, which Rainbow kept blushing every time she looked at Twilight. What can I do for Twi. I want to do something with her. Besides, i have the most beautiful and gorgeous mare to be in love with. thought  Rainbow Dash. Rainbow then put her book down and nuzzled Twilight. Upon feeling Rainbow and losing her concentration, She closed her book and pull Rainbow in to a hug. "You know what i do to ponies that make me lose my concentration?" said Twilight teasingly. Rainbow eyes widen as Twilights lips connected with Rainbows. She then realized that she was making out with Twilight. Throughout their relationship, Twilight grew more protective to Rainbow and wanted her to be save with her. as they separated from the last kiss, Rainbow looked at Twilight with a warm smile. "You know i'll always love you Rainbow." Twilight murmured as she brushed her Rainbow maned mare friend mane with one hoof, causing her to giggle.

"I know Twi. I'll always love you too."

The two decided to snuggle together in order to try to stay warm from the cold winter weather that was coming in. Rainbow knew that she is still in danger due to the escape of her father. But she had something on her mind, she wanted to do something with Twilight. Suddenly she hit an idea. She hit the idea of taking Twilight out on a date. She looked at Twilight and gave her a peck on the cheek. "Twi....do you want to go on a date with me?" murmured Rainbow Dash.

Hearing this, Twilights eyes widened. Rainbow just asked her on a date. She couldn't help but pull Rainbow into another kiss. She then backed away and looked at Rainbow. "Of course Rainbow. I would love to go on a date with you."

"ALRIGHT!"

"So what do you have in mind?"

"A dinner date."

"That sounds good."

Rainbow then looked at Twilight with pleading eyes. She then asked Twilight if they can cuddle for a while and then go on their dinner date. Twilight then decided to cuddle with her marefriend. Rainbow knew she made a great decision to love Twilight.

It was now six thirty at night and Rainbow was sitting on the couch waiting for Twilight. Twilight said she needed to get cleaned up. She also said she was gonna surprise Rainbow Dash. I wonder what Twi's surprise is gonna be. thought Rainbow. Suddenly the door to the bathroom opened and Twilight came out, and Rainbow noticed Twilight was looking prettier then ever. "Twi, you look so b....b....beautiful." Rainbow said as she was blushing violently. Twilight then walked up to her lover and extended a wing and pulled her next to her

"Now...You said you were taking me on a date. Well Let's go Dashie, Unless you want wingboners."

Rainbow was now blushing even more, Twilight just called her one of her nicknames. She and Twilight proceeded and headed towards the Restaurant. As they were walking Ponies noticed the two. Even one of them wolf whistled at them. As they continued their fashion obsessed friend saw them and walked up to them. "I must say Twilight, you look absolutely gorgeous, and stunning, darling. I bet you love her a lot Rainbow, even though She's protecting you with all of her heart from that pony psychopath of a father you hate that's on the lose." Rarity said

"I sure do Rarity."

Twilight blushed and nuzzled her pegasus lover. "Hey Rarity, Rainbow Dash is taking me on a date. isn't that right Rainbow?"

"Of course Twi, you know, ever since we been together, I been waiting to take you on a date once i calmed down."

Rarity could't help but smile at the two mares who were in love with each other. To Rarity, this was a beautiful thing. "I hope your date goes well Rainbow Darling."

Rainbow Dash and Twilight both said their adieus to Rarity, and headed to the restaurant Rainbow wanted to take Twilight to. As they arrived they requested a table for themselves. As soon as their food came, they ate heartily As they finished the looked at each other and smiled. "Rainbow, you were right about this place, the food is great."

"Yea, besides I wanted to make this real special for us."

Rainbow noticed Twilights hoof was on the table. Rainbow began to rubbed her hoof and looked at her. "You've done so much for me these past days Twi. You offered me safety, gave me that neckless, calmed me down when Remembering "him" and a lot more. I Love you for that Twi." Murmured Rainbow

"I love you too Rainbow. Besides, I want you to be safe. But I hope they are looking for your father, so he can be locked in a cell. Besides if i met him and he tried to kill you, I will kick his flank in less then a minute. That Dirtbag of a father you had can't do shit."

As the waiter came back, Rainbow asked for the bill. Since Rainbow took Twilight on the date, she wanted to pay the whole bill for Twilight. after the bill was payed full the two decided to head back to the Library. For the rest of the night, they read a book to pass the time. As the time to hit the hey came, Both Rainbow and Twilight prayed for a miracle to happen, a Miracle that will free Rainbow from her chains from being scarred for life. After they payed they got into bead. "G'night Twi. I love you." murmured Rainbow

"I love you too Rainbow. Thanks for the date."

Twilight and Rainbow gave each other one quick kiss and went to sleep. Rainbow was now hopping that their prayer to the pony god comes true. Rainbow couldn't stand being scarred for life All she hopes for is for this nonsense with her father is put to an end..
