Then, it started glowing, emitting a light, which became brighter after time. It was also surrounded by a purple aura which disappeared shortly after. Then, the cage itself disappeared and revealed a levitating, fairy-like creature with lavender-coloured skin ans wings, pony-like ears, long purple hair and a cute pink dress with boots. Calem opened his mouth a little after witnessing her. Twilight, the legendary Pokémon, had just awakened. She broke the glass surrounding the cage and landed, invoking fear in Calem. Instead of attacking, however, she looked at him and asked him a question. "Is everything alright?" Calem wanted to ask if she can talk, but instead burst into tears and got on his knees "Oh dear. Did I scare you? I didn't want to, sorry." "No, it's nothing." He sniffed and stopped crying."But why aren't you attacking me?" "Why would I do that?" she asked and offered him her hand so that he could stand. Then, she introduced herself. "I'm Twilight, Twilight Sparkle, Princess of Life." "I'm Calem. Nice to meet you." he replied, confused of the friendly behavior of this Legendary Pokemon. Shortly after, someone else entered the room. It was Calem's friends, Shauna and Serena. "Hi there, Calem." Shauna said. "So you befriended the Legendary Pokemon?" "Hey there, I'm Twilight Sparkle. Nice to meet you too." "It can talk?" Serena shouted. "She. Can't you see I'm a female?" Twilight replied, annoyed. "So this is the mighty Twilight Sparkle? Pff. I excpected more from the Legendary Pokemon of the Kalos region." Lysandre, Team Flare's boss, appeared in the room. "But you think you will stop my wish of destroying this horrible world? I'll take back the legendary Fairy Pokemon and the Ultimate Weapon shall be complete" he said, tightly grabbing Twilightps hand. She responded by screaming out for help. "Help! Help! Ahhh!" "Leave her alone!" Calem said, freeing Twilight from Lysandre's grip. "Oh, look what we have here: a young little hero who saves his Princess of Life. But playtime is over, wake up and watch the inevitable end of this world." "Not if I stop you. I challenge you to a Pokemon Battle!" Calem replied, with a serious tone in his voice. "the winner will take Twilight Sparkle." "So be it!" Lysandre said and picked a Pokéball."Go, Mienshao." He threw it on the ground and the Pokemon Mienshao appeared. "Mien" said the pokemon. "Go, Warampharos!" Calem shouted, and throwed his Pokeball. A a yellow sheep-Pokemon without wool, an Ampharos, appeared. He was holding an Ampharosite and was really wanted to win, even more so than Mienshao. "Warampharos, listen. You can't lose this battle and neither can your friends. A mistake will be fatal for our world, so we can't afford mistakes this time, okay?" "Amph" the Pokemon replied. "And now..." Calem pushed a button on his Mega Ring, which emitted a multi-coloured light. The Ampharosite started glowing and surrounded Warampahros in a sphere of light. Shortly after, it disappeared and he gained Wool hair and a wooly tail. This was his Mega Evolution. It roared at Mienshao (or at least tried to) but it didn't scare it. "Mienshao, Swords Dance!" Mienshao's "hands" became longer and the Martial Arts Pokemon performed a strange vigorous dance. "Warampharos, Thunderbolt" the Light Pokemon unleashed a powerful thunderbolt, which hit Mienshao and caused him to faint. Lysandre withdrew him back into the Pokeball and sent out Pyroar, the Royal Pokemon. "Pyroar, Hyper Voice" the Fire Pokemon's roaring created sound waves, which slammed Wampharos into a wall. "Warampharos, are you alright?" the Pokemon nodded in response. "Okay, use Thunderbolt again" Warampharos used another thunderbolt, which shocked Pyroar and made him faint. Lysandre withdrew him back into the pokeball and sent out another Pokemon. This time, it was a Honchkrow. "Honchkrow, Night Slash" the Pokemon's wings became black and he slashed Warampharos with them, dealing a lot of damage. Nevertheless, it wasn't enough to make him faint. "Warampharos, Thunderbolt again" Warampharos used thunderbolt and Honchkrow fainted. Lysandre, full of anger, screamed. "Who you do think you are?" "Just me" he responded, doing a thumb-up and winking. "Let's see if you'll mantain this boasting attitude. Go, Gyarados!" he sent out a snake-like Pokemon with a very scary face. Warampharos seemed to have victory in his reach, but Lysandre activated a little tool, which resembled a Mega Ring. Then, Gyarados' Gyaradosite glowed and the Pokemon transformed in the same manner of Warampharos, becaming Mega Gyarados. "Warampharos, return" Calem decided to use Warampharos later, knowing that pokemon is very strong. He chose Flygon as a substitute. "Flygon, Rock Slide." Flygon summoned rocks from the ceiling of the Lab, which weren't very effective againts Gyarados. Calem was suprised. "What?! Gyarados should have taken much more damage." "Because, my dear, Gyarados changed his type: now he's Water/Dark type. And his attack strengh is much higher now" "Oh." "Gyarados, Outrage" Gyarados went berserk and hit Flygon with his head and his tail many times, eventually making the Mystic Pokemon faint. Next, Calem sent out Chesnaught, but it too fainted when Gyarados unleashed it's fury upon it. Gyarados was now confused but Lysandre gave him a Lum Berry, which immediately removed its confusion. Shortly after, Calem sent out a Helioptile who attacked him with a Thunderbolt, doing a lot of damage while he was distracted but counter-attacked with an Earthquake, making Helioptile faint.Now Calem had only two Pokemons left, Charizard and Warampharos. Charizard attacked him with a Dragon Claw, weaking him by a great ammount but defeated when the Gyarados used Aqua Tail. Now he only had Warampharos, weakened by the other attacks, to fight Gyarados, who was a lot faster. Lysandre burst into a maniacal laugher. "Who's winning now? Gyarados, finish him with Outrage." the Pokemon went berserk again and was going to hit Warampharos. Twilight, who was watching the battle and hiding behind Calem due to fear, decided to take action. She leaned out of cover and shooted a Moonblast from her hand which immediately made Gyarados faint. Lysandre noticed that Moonblast and knowing Ampharos couldn't learned it, assumed it was Twilight, a Fairy/Psychic, who helped Ampharos win. "This isn't fair. The Legendary Pokemon wasn't supposed to interfere with the battle!" he shouted. "But I..." she tried to response, but she was interrupted by the Team Flare Boss. "Silence. Now you shall be punished."He showed them his hand which had a glowing button on it. "If you really wanted to battle for the life of the Earth, then you'll pay with living...FOREVER" He pushed the button and activated the Ultimate Weapon. Twilight, not losing her mind, quickly teleported everyone out of the building just in time before the machine sent a beam from the sky. When they turned back, they saw the Team Flare HQ destroyed. For some reason, Lysandre was also saved by Twilight, along with other members of Team Flare. Shortly after, they ran away. "Why did you do that, Twilight? Why did you let escape Lysandre?" Calem asked her "Because I didn't want anyone to die. You saw what happened to the lab. I didn't expect that to happen but the Ultimate Weapon destroyed itself. I think they've learned their lesson." Serena changed the subject of the dialogue. "What are you going to do now, Calem? If i'm not wrong, you only need one more badge to get into the Pokemon League. Well done! "I think I'm going to the Pokemon Center, it's late. And you?" he replied. "I think I'll return to Vaniville Town. Shauna, do you want a ride?" "Of course." "In that case, see you later." Calem said as he saw Serena leaving. Now he was alone with Twilight and to shorten their way to the Pokemon Center, he begun asking her questions. "Hey, Twilight." "What's up?" "You live forever? What do you feel?" "I don't know." "What? You don't know what you feel?" "I don't. I was in a very long sleep for most of my life. The last time I was free was two years ago." "And... how was it?" "I don't want to talk about it" Twilight responded, lowering her head as they were entering the Pokemon Center. "Okay, I'll skip this part" Calem said, while he was giving his Pokeballs to Nurse Joy, who smiled, as she always did. "You're... you're the legendary Twilight Sparkle!" Nurse Joy shouted. "Everybody, here is the..." Calem put his hand over her mouth. "No, she's just... ehm... my cousin who... wants to participate in a Pokemon Cosplay Contest" "Ah, why didn't you say so?" she said and put the Pokeballs in the machine, healing the pokemon inside. She then handed him the pokeballs. "Here are you pokemon. Are you going to stay here fot the night?" "Hm-mh" they nodded. "Well then, I hope you'll have a good rest." They went upstairs, using Calem's special Trainer Card to rent a room. They also continued their conversation. "What were we talking about?" Calem tried to remember where the dialogue left off."Ah, yes, you didn't want to talk about that one time when you were free and awake." "Yeah." "What if I teach you what life is all about?" "Hm? I don't understand." Twilight was confused. "It's simple: we're going to do a lot of things and you'll learn how to life, since you're the Princess of Life." "Well, that sounds interesting." said Twilight enthusiastically. "Alright. We'll decide tomorrow what we're going to do" After that, Calem looked at Twilight. "Umm, you don't have any pyjamas." "What are pyjamas?" Twilight asked him "Pyjamas are things you wear when you sleep. Here, have some from me." He gave her cute blue pyjamas. "I'm going to change into them in the bathroom so you can undress calmly. "Why is that a problem for you?" "It's for your privacy. I'll just change in the bathroom." They both put on pyjamas and went to sleep. "Calem?" she asked him, half-asleep. "Yes?" he said, almost alseep. "I'm so excited for tomorrow" "Me too" "Good night" "Good night, Twilight." Enter New Friends"Good morning, Twilight" yawned Calem as he woke up to the sun that was shining through the half opened window. "Good morning, Calem" Twilight yawned as she stepped into the room, They both dressed their selves with their normal clothes and they went downstairs to have breakfast. "Twilight, Eat up, because we have a very long journey, ok?" "Ok" she picked up the Miltank milk and a chocolate cereal. Twilight didn't know how the food worked…, and by curiosity, she asked. "What are these?" "You don't know? Ah, I think we need to have a lot of lessons" Calem sighed. "This is milk, and this is chocolate cereal. The most complete breakfast of all... I’m guessing you don't even know what breakfast is, right? “Uuumm…no” she smirked. Calem sighed and began to explain. “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, it’s the time when you eat to store up energy so you can face todays hardships." He stopped talking, and then he said with a playful tone. "Do I need to explain what food is?" "No, don't worry, I know what it is" and they both laughed. After they finished the breakfast, they said good-bye to the Nurse and left the building "So, what we're going to do?" Twilight asked. “Today I’ll teach you all about Pokémon battles… Remember when you hit Gyarados with a Moonblast?" Twilight nodded “Yes, that way, but in this world, Pokémon are like friends: we pet them, we play with them, but most important: He paused, “we fight with them" "Fight...with them?" "It's like a game, where Trainers unleash their Pokémon’s power, but this game is also where you read a Pokémon's heart and learn to know them. But, there are some people who use them as items, literally, such as Lysander, who wanted to activate that Ultimate Weapon, using your power" "Ok, I understand" "And now, I want you to meet my Pokémon" Calem threw all his Pokéballs in the air. "Everybody, it's time to say welcome to our friends" and all the Pokémon appeared and saluted in their ways to the Princess of the Life: "Ches!" "Amph!" "Arooo!" "Fly!" "Heliii!" Helioptile was so enthusiastic for Twilight's arrival, he ran to the Princess and signed that he wanted to be snuggled. "Seems Helioptile likes you a lot and you arrived not so long ago: I think you will be very good friends" Calem said happily. "I think so too" she said as she delicately snuggled Helioptile’s head, the Pokémon’s most sensible part. But then, the Generator Pokémon swiftly went to a body part he pointed: her legs. He hanged on her right leg and he slithered his body on the leg, making a pleasured face and tone: "Heli" Calem, and the others were embarrassed, except Twilight, who didn't get Helioptile was acting like a pervert. "Helioptile, what are you doing?" Calem exclaimed. "Heliiii" said Helioptile as he rubbed against twilight leg. "Return…" The Pokémon, caught by the red light of the Pokéball, was returned. <> He thought, but he noticed that Twilight remained neutral throughout the whole thing. <> Twilight looked at everybody's faces and, obviously, she exclaimed. "What's up with those faces?" Calem replied, putting his arm behind his leg and making a false laugh. "Oh nothing…." And he turned to all his Pokémon. "Right, guys?" All of them made their best not to show their disappointment to Helioptile's behavior, especially Charizard, who tried and failed. Then, Calem took out a paper towel, maybe it was needed. Twilight, again, asked. "What are you doing?" "Eh, nothing, I want to polish your leg, so it's totally clean" "Well… thank you" Then, Calem was searching for more of Helioptile signs: luckily, he didn't find anything. "Thanks Arceus" he thought, comforted. After that little incident (which Twilight didn't get), they decided to walk to Snowbelle City. "But why?" Twilight asked, because she didn't know about Gym Leaders, so Calem started speaking about them. "Because I'll face the Gym Leaders: Gym Leaders are people who use very strong Pokémon. There are 8 for each region and if you challenge them and you win, you receive a badge, which attests your victory. If you get all 8 badges, you'll be able to face the Pokémon League" "Pokémon League?" "Yes, the place where the strongest Pokémon Trainers go to challenge the Elite 4, and the Champion. My dream, such as a lot of trainers', is to become the strongest trainer in their region, but some trainers strive for becoming the strongest in the world" "Ah, got it" "Hey, you" someone yelled to Calem, trying to show boldness: a girl with pink hair and yellow skin, with a white t-shirt and a green skirt. "Yes, you. You look like a trainer. I challenge you to a Pokémon Battle." "Ok, ok, but first, what's your name?" Calem asked, who wanted to make a new friend. The girl's attitude changed from determined to shy. "My name is...Fluttershy" "Excuse me, can you repeat louder?" “Fluttershy" she squeaked "Oh, Fluttershy, I heard right?" "Yes" Fluttershy replied. "How about a 3 vs. 3… if you don't mind, uh?" "I can't wait to start" and they prepared the Pokéballs for the battle. But before they started the battle, Fluttershy looked at Twilight, and exclaimed. "Oh my...Is...is that the Legendary Pokémon Twilight Sparkle?" "Hi there" Twilight replied. "And she can talk. Oh, sweet Arceus, I can't believe this. I think I'm gonna lose, she's very strong indeed" But Calem said. "Nah, don't be pessimist" and he turned to Twilight. "Do you want to see how Pokémon battle?" "Oh, well, ok" "Fine. Now sit somewhere and enjoy the battle" as he picked a Pokéball and talked to the Trainer. "I won't use the Legendary Pokémon: she's only going to watch the battle" "Ok…" Fluttershy threw the Pokéball. "Go, Sylveon" the Intertwining Pokémon was ready to fight. "Go, Charizard" Calem was pointing to the type combination, knowing Fairy can't do lot of damage to Fire. "Use Flamethrower" Charizard did a normal damage using a fiery breath. "Sylveon, Moonblast" Sylveon borrowed the power of the moon and hit Charizard, It wasn’t that effective… the Flame Pokémon used Flamethrower again, which hit Sylveon, making him faint. Fluttershy had to withdraw Sylveon and put the Pokéball back into her bag. Fluttershy took out another Pokéball from her pocket and said "Go, Vivillon" the Scale Pokémon appeared and flied up into the sky, showing his beautiful Meadow Pattern. "Charizard, Flamethrower again" it hit Vivillon but he endured the hit. "Vivillon, Quiver Dance" the Pokémon started flying around, being surrounded by a cyan aura. "Now use Hurricane" Vivillon flapped his wings to summon a powerful gale, which caught Charizard in its wing grip and landed violently him: Charizard was knocked-out. Meanwhile, Twilight was seeing how the Pokémon were battling, noticing their effort to do their best and how their trainers were testing the bond with them. "Go, Warampharos" the Pokémon got out from his Pokéball, and then Calem activated the Mega Ring and Warampharos Mega Evolved. "Vivillon, Bug Buzz" "Warampharos, Thunderbolt" Both the Pokémon took great damage but only Warampharos endured the hit, leaving Fluttershy with only one Pokémon. "This is my last Pokémon... oh, I hope this works" She launched the Pokéball. "Go, Charizard" Calem didn't except a Charizard from a shy girl like her, but that didn't mean he would have his concentration lost. But he noticed something; Fluttershy had a Mega Ring, which she used for activate Charizard's Charizardite X, who Mega Evolved, roaring at Warampharos. "Warampharos, return" It was Calem's move. "Go, Flygon, Dragon Claw" The Mystic Pokémon’s claws glowed and he slashed Charizard with them. Too bad Charizard had a very good defense. "Charizard, use Dragon Claw too" That was a powerful slash, which attired a lot Twilight's attention. Flygon was hit and it was an immediate K.O. "Warampharos, I believe in you" The two Mega Evolved Pokémon looked at each other with a challenging stare. Before Charizard unleashed another Dragon Claw, Warampharos blocked with his pins. "Charizard, use another Dragon Claw with max power" The Flame Pokémon put so much power in his Dragon Claw that Warampharos was pushing back, trying to block the hit again. "Dragon Pulse" The Light Pokémon was preparing his last attack, but before he could shoot it, Charizard hit him right in his face, making him faint and letting Fluttershy win the battle. But Fluttershy wasn't so happy at last. "Oh my...Did I defeat your Pokémon? I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I didn't want to do this" "Don't say that. Be happy, you won…" "Forgive me, please" "You're forgiven if you'll have a little lunch with us. Okay?" "Sure" They used Charizard to fly to Lumiose City, where they could cure their Pokémon and find a delicious restaurant. At last, they decided to have a sandwich. But there was one problem: "I'm vegetarian." Fluttershy said. It was a problem because Calem didn't want to give a bad impression of him, too late… he already ordered a Tauros meat sandwich and a grilled Magikarp, it smelled and looked very delicious. The boy wanted to struggle his meat hunger, but he failed, he looked at it one more time, and then he ate, and ate like there was no tomorrow. Twilight followed his example, because he was her master and everything was an example to follow, so she ate as the same manner as Calem. Fluttershy, initially, stayed silent, but then she laughed, with the others, amused by that little incident. Fluttershy decided to talk to Calem about how he met the legendary Pokémon. "I mean, that's incredible. The Legendary Pokémon Twilight Sparkle is here. How did you meet her?" "Have you heard of the Team Flare? Their secret lab in Geosenge City was using her energy to activate the Ultimate Weapon" "The Ultimate Weapon?" "It was terrible" Twilight entered the speech. "All my strengths stolen by that infernal machine" "When I came in the room where she was in her sleep form, she suddenly awoke, but she didn't attack me. So I stopped the Team Flare Boss Lysander, with a little help from Twilight. And now we're here" Fluttershy turned to Twilight and asked. "So how’s it like living forever?" "You know, Fluttershy:" Calem responded in place of Twilight. "I asked the same thing to Twilight one day and she replied that she had lived too long and has nothing else to look forward to “She nodded in claim. “So I decided to show her how beautiful life is." "Great. You can count on me." Fluttershy said. "Maybe if we become friends, we could do this often and I can help you too" "Friends? What are friends?" "Listen carefully, Twilight, because this is very important." Calem said in a serious tone. "Friends are people that are very important; they are people who you'll spend the most part of your time, in different modes. But not only: they are people who you confide your deepest emotions or you ask some advice for problems, in other words you ask for help. Also Pokémon are friends, you can talk with them and they can understand your problems, even if you don’t say anything. And there we have two kinds of friends; the true ones, and the fake ones. But during this journey I learned a thing. In the right or wrong side, Pokémon are always with their partners. Do you remember the battle with Lysandre?” Twilight nodded. Calem continued. “His Pokémon were fighting beside him, though it was for a bad cause, they believed in him and in his ideals. But, human or Pokémon, there is one particular rule for the friends" "What is it?" Twilight questioned curiously "Friendship is Magic. Don't forget these words, Twilight, never" Fluttershy clapped at that speech. "Bravo. You talked very good about friendship" After they finished the talk, they decided to go to one of the famous Lumiose City boutiques. It was 3 p.m., but the sun's heat was raging merciless. The owner of the boutique, a girl with a milk skin, purple hair, boots and a white T-shirt, was sewing some clothes, using a Leavanny's String Shot for the silk, but she didn't notice them immediately. "Oh,sorry I didn’t see you there. Sorry, I was working on a new clothe" She interrupted the work and she came at them. "What I can do for you?" "Nothing special. We wanted to buy some clothes" Calem said "I understand. If you need me, I..." She interrupted, because she noticed Twilight Sparkle. "T-t-t-that's the L-l-legendary Twilight S-Sparkle. Oh, my. What is she doing here?" "It's a long story" Calem said and he explained all the things he told to Fluttershy. "Oh…ok" "What's your name?" Fluttershy asked "The name’s Rarity darling. And this here is my Leavanny" "Leavaaaanny" "So, do you want some help to teach Twilight Sparkle the beauty of life?" Rarity continued "Of course dear. I would never pass up the chance to spend time with such a marvelous Pokémon" "Then why you don't try these beautiful clothes?" Rarity said, assuming an enthusiastic tone and pointing at the clothes of the Boutique. "Clothing is an art that lets people know how you are and what you do.” So everybody started wearing lot of clothes: Fluttershy, for example, tried on herself a fitted short dress; Calem had to hide his blush. "Damn, her body is gorgeous" he thought. Twilight also tried some clothes on (but not before Calem and Fluttershy explained to her what clothing was for… that was an awkward discussion especially for Fluttershy), some clothing fit Twilight very well. The time passed very quickly, they all decided to take 3 pieces of clothing. But before they could pay Rarity... "I challenge you to a Pokémon Battle" Rarity said "It seems you, Calem, are a Pokémon Trainer. If you'll win, you can take your clothes for free. Does that seem fair, darling?" "Ok" and they went to the back of the Boutique, where they could fight. "Go, Leavanny" The Pokémon jumped toward Charizard. "Quick! Charizard, use Air Slash" Charizard came out of the Pokéball and quickly slashed Leavanny in the air, she fell and fainted. "You did your best Leavanny, now return to momma” said rarity as she wiped a single tear. “ lets see how you like this.” She took out a pink Pokéball with a heart on it and threw it in. “Go, Furfrou. Use Headbutt" The Pokémon came out with an amazing pose and quickly stroke Charizard with a powerful Headbutt. Charizard flinched. "Another Headbutt" And with that Charizard fainted, and Rarity smirked at her victory over the Fire type Pokémon “Good job Charizard, return” Calem put the Pokéball in his left pocket and rustled through his right one and took out his netball and said… “Go, Warampharos" The Pokémon came out was ready to fight, but he wasn’t, his Mega Evolution kicked in. "Furfrou, use Headbutt on Warampharos " "Quick, use Focus Blast before Furfrou's head could hit you!” Warampharos blasted Furfrou mid-air and she fainted due to the powerful Fight-type move. "I see you left me with only one Pokémon." Rarity said with a challenging tone. "But this doesn't mean I lost. Go, Ampharos" Also Rarity had an Ampharos, but the most surprising thing was she had a Mega Ring, which she used for Mega Evolving Ampharos. "Warampharos, charge Ampharos" "Don't let him push you" The two Mega Evolved Pokémon were unleashing their strength by pushing each other: the result was Warampharos fainted, pushed and defeated by a critical hit-Dragon Pulse. "Twilight" Calem shouted. "What?" She replied, who was seeing the battle. "Go to battle. Try the adrenaline of a Pokémon fight" and after a little observation, she was ready to fight. "I believe in you. Use Moonblast" "Ampharos, Thunderbolt" Ampharos landed the hit before Twilight could unleash hers. She said. "I'm not going to do this" "But you can. Come on. Again Moonblast" She put all her power and speed to land that hit, which was super effective against Ampharos, who fainted. At the end of the day, they had dinner together and they said good-bye to each other. Before sleeping in a tent, "Oh, today was exciting" Twilight said. "Yeah, you're right" "And thanks for believing in me when I was fighting Ampharos. You're right, fighting is amusing. He didn’t seem to happy that he saw her. He had bad memories of her. He went outside only to notice that he wasn't alone. Drasna was there with her Druddigon, she was catching some fresh air too. Why you aren't in the party?" she looked at the opposite direction where Calem was standing. "I...I didn’t wanna stay in there" he answered, looking at the party. She finally noticed where he was standing and looked towards him. "Are you alright? Anyway… I'm Korrina" she passed her hand. "Nice to meet you..." Calem was looking at her body: when he looked at her he felt a sweet sensation that wasn’t familiar to him: maybe he was attracted to her. "Hey. I'm talking to you. What's your name?" "Calem… My name is Calem" "Strange, you weren't responding. Were you thinking about something?" "Err...No no no no. sorry I got distracted" he apologized. Calem looked at her with a Magikarp face…yes, he had a crush on her, and Arceus wanted them to meet, also for a Pokémon Battle at Geosenge City and even for the Gym Battle, at Shalour City, but most importantly, for the Mega Evolution Battle. So, Twilight's hand glowed, forming a white orb, then, she put it onto her forehead; the orb entered in Applebloom's body, doing the wanted effects: now the little girl was less pallid and she opened her eyes. Applejack's family was immediately in celebration for Applebloom's healing: lot of greetings by all the members were received by Twilight and Calem, especially by Applejack. "Thanks a lot. "Go, Helioptile" The Generator Pokémon was Calem's response to the girl's choose. "Miltank, Body Slam" The Pokémon’s huge body slammed Helioptile, knocking out immediately, so Calem had to withdrew him. "Go, Chesnaught" "Miltank, again Body Slam" "Chesnaught, Spiky Shield" before Miltank could hit the Spiky Pokémon, he showed his arms, crafting a spike barrier, which damaged Miltank. "Now use Hammer Arm" Chesnaught's arm became orange and he hit Miltank with it, causing a critical hit and making Miltank faint. "Miltank, return" The Pokémon returned to his Pokéball. "Go, Gogoat, use Aerial Ace" "Chesnaught, dodge it" Calem said, knowing the dangerousness of that move for Chesnaught, so the Pokémon acted, but useless, because the move couldn't miss. But thanks to Chesnaught's tough defense, he could resist to an imminent K.O. "Care attack with another Hammer Arm" it hit and then Gogoat fainted. "Krookodile, go" the Intimidation Pokémon was wearing sunglasses a straw hat, for which seemed he cared a lot, because when it felt, he paid lot of attention to put it in his head. "That Pokémon cares a lot about his style" Rarity commented. "I like him: all the Pokémon should take this Krookodile as an example" "Rarity, this is a battle, not a walkaway" Calem replied annoyed. "Krookodile, set up a Sandstorm" Krookodile started spinning around himself, raising a sandstorm. "My hair!!" rarity said as she covered her hair with her hands. "Chesnaught, Wood Hammer" The Pokémon rolled up, surrounded by a green light; meanwhile, Krookodile was staying doing nothing, leaving himself vulnerable from Wood Hammer. But before Chesnaught could hit Krookodile, he stopped and fainted. "Oh sweet Arceus! How it can be?" "Because, Sugarcube, your Chesnaught was buffetted by the sandstorm" and then Krookodile was surrounded by a red aura. "And this is Krookodile's Ability Moxie" Applejack explained. "In this case, I'll send out a Ground-type Pokémon: Flygon" Flygon came out of the Pokéball. "Use Dragon Claw" "Krookodile, use Foul Pay" Flygon slashed Krookodile, doing again a critical hit and knocking him out, but not before being hit by Krookodile's tail, causing his faint. In other words, it was a dual K.O. "Ah see ya left me with only one Pokémon" Applejack said, picking her last Pokéball. "But this doesn't mean you're going to win, because in this here Pokéball I have mah most important Pokémon: Sugarcube" the apple family, looking at the battle from a safe distance, were commenting about her last Pokémon, knowing that Calem had to stand against it. "Also this..." Calem brought Warampharos' Pokéball. “Is my most important Pokémon. Or better…he’s my friend" "Let this last battle decide who's better" both the Trainers sent out their Pokémon. The mentioned "Sugarcube" was a Garchomp, the Mach Pokémon. And then, both of the trainers activated the Mega Rings, mega evolving the Pokémon. Mega Sugarcube assumed a more menacing attitude after the Mega Evolution, but Warampharos didn't get scared, he was prepared for even worse. "Sugarcube, Earthquake" The land under Warampharos' feet rumbled and little rock pinnacles damaged the Light Pokémon. "Ya should know mah Sugarcube's Sand Force increased Earthquake's power" "Damn it. Warampharos, use Dragon Pulse" Sugarcube took a great damage; both of them were weak, but Sugarcube was going to get victory, due to his speed, which was greater than Warampharos'. "Sugarcube, Dragon Rush" "Gar" the Pokémon flew up in the sky, and then he nosedived, surrounded by a blue aura which gave him a blue nose-diving dragon image. <> He looked right in the sky. << Yeah... That could work>> "Warampharos, use Cotton Guard to deviate Sugarcube's trajectory" "Wha’cha gonna do?" Applejack said, unexpecting that move. Warampharos covered himself with a cotton barrier, which blocked Sugarcube's Dragon Rush and repelled him away. "quick, use Dragon Pulse" Warampharos shoot the move, Calem saw the beam fly through the air it making a big explosion in the sky as it hit Sugarcube, the smoke evaporated and Sugarcube was falling, when and making Sugarcube faint. That move decreed Calem's victory, an epic pause and then a scream from the family, acclimating the winner. Applejack had to admit her defeat, but they became good friends anyway. Calem after telling his plans was invited with her friends to stay in Applejack's farm and he accepted. After the dinner and before sleeping, Calem talked to Twilight. "Twilight, you've just done a good thing today" "What?" "You helped Applejack's sister curing her from Vileplume's poison. Another hint about friends is good ones always helps everybody" "So...I helped her?" "Exactly. That's what good friends do. Another example is when we met; you helped me to stand up. "You don’t always have to show all of your Pokémon’s attacks, the opponent can take the advantage of the attacking..." "Yeah, yeah, blah blah blah, BUT PLEASE..." "Don’t use that tone of voice on me, it isn't polite talking to older people like this" and Wulfric returned in his gym. The girl was leaving the place, muttering angry words. "What's up? Why you're so angry?" Calem asked. "Why you care? Anyway, Wulfric, the Gym Leader, defeated me. I mean, I had my dear powerful Pokémon, especially my Mega Lucario" She said, showing her Mega Ring. "Seriously, I don't know why it happened." But then she stopped talking, and noticed Twilight. Suddenly her eyes went wide and started saying " S-she's the l-legendary Twilight Sparkle? Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh, this can’t be real!!" "Hey, calm down. Yes, I have the legendary Twilight Sparkle" Rainbow giggled. "Please, let my team battle her. 6 vs 1, after all she's a legendary, she can take an entire team" "Twilight" Calem said. "Now we'll have a more challenging battle. Do you feel like doing this?" "Of course" After her last battle, she wanted more of them. "OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHSHECANTALK…let's start the battle" "But first who are you?" Calem asked. "Rainbow Dash" "Ok, let's start" Rainbow picked the Pokéball. "Go, Lucario" "Arr" Calem saw how Lucario was determined, he has never seen so much determination in any Aura Pokémon he has met. Rainbow activated the Lucarionite which Lucario was bringing, mega evolving him. "Bullet Punch" Lucario's fists became pure metal and he hit Twilight with them, at speed light. "Aura Sphere" Mega Lucario fainted. "No! But I thought I was hitting first" "Bullet Punch isn't that strong. Even in Mega Lucario’s form” "Who cares? I've already 5 Pokémon. And in this case, I'll put in my next attack the max power. Go, Hydreigon! Use Hyper Beam" Hydreigon shot from his three heads three powerful beams, creating a very big explosion. "Twilight, Geomancy" "Ok" and she placed her hands on the snow field, creating a rainbow light spectrum and absorbing energy from the nature. "Why you're using a state move? State moves are stupid" "Wait until Twilight is charged" "Hydreigon, Iron Head" "Azand..." he was too tired to attack. Meanwhile Twilight used Geomancy, freeing a pink aura and increasing her Sp.Atk., Sp.Def. and Speed. "Iron Head" "Moonblast" Twilight was by so far quicker than Hydreigon, hitting him with Moonblast and defeating the Brutal Pokémon. “Is Geomancy stupid now?" Calem said with a provoking tone. "We're not done yet. Go, Talonflame" she sent out Talonflame, hoping to out speed her. "Psyshock" Twilight's eyes glowed and a mysterious power hit Talonflame, who fainted. "Staraptor, use Brave Bird" Staraptor went away for charging his attack and then he returned, covered by a red aura. "Moonblast" Before the impact, Staraptor got hit and he fainted. "Altaria!!" Rainbow Dash was now feeling ticked off. "Moonblast" and Altaria was gone. "Go, Riol..." "Psyshock" And Calem won. "Argh. Dang it. I lost…" Rainbow Dash cursed. "Wulfric was right: you put too much offensive, but not only: you need strategy, or else you'll never win, even if you really love your Pokémon" "Ok, ok, I admit it. But you were a good opponent" "Also you" "And now? What you're going to do?" "I'm going to challenge the Gym Leader" "In this case, good luck, he's tough" And Calem, after he cured Twilight, went inside the Gym. The Gym Leader presented himself. "I'm Wulfric, Snowbelle Gym Leader. I saw you when you were battling Rainbow Dash. You seems a good trainer. I expect a great battle. Are you ready for a 3 vs 3?" "Yes" "Then let's battle" They took place in the icy field. "Go, Abomasnow" "Go, Charizard" "I see, you point on the type advantage" Wulfric grinned." But don't expect to win like this. Abomasnow, Rock Slide" "Charizard, Flamethrower" after Abomasnow summoned lot of rocks, he used them to protect from the attack, then he threw them. "Dodge it" Charizard dodged the rock slide, but he was buffeted by the hail. "Again Rock Slide" Abomasnow attacked again with the rocks, but Charizard dodged the attack again. Wulfric, tired of the same drag, decided to freeze Charizard's wing. "Abomasnow, use Blizzard to freeze Charizard's wing" Abomasnow unleashed from his mouth a powerful blizzard, which froze Charizard's wings. "Now use Rock Slide" Charizard was going to get hit, but Calem saw the ice stalactites and he had an idea. "Charizard, melt that stalactites with your Flamethrower" The stalactites melted as Calem thought, becoming water which soaked the rocks, disintegrating them. "Yes, as I hoped the rocks couldn't resist a little bath and they crumbled. Now it's your opportunity, Charizard: Flamethrower" Abomasnow fainted. "Go Cryogonal, Ice Beam" Cryogonal shot a powerful Ice Beam, which froze Charizard. "Now Sheer Cold" Charizard couldn't dodge the hit and he got invested by a lethal cold wave, fainting. "Go, Warampharos" And after the Mega Evolution, Warampharos was ready to fight. "It's foolish Mega Evolving a Pokémon and exposing him to a weakness that he didn't have before" "Yes, but I heard Cryogonal are tough against Sp.Atk., so I had to. And anyway I trust my Pokémon" "Hmpf. We'll see if this bond will survive my Cryogonal's Ice Beam" "Warampharos, Cotton Guard" The cotton got frozen by the Ice Beam. "Warampharos, Charge" "Broke the ice with Rapid Spin" Warampharos charged and before Cryogonal could hit him, he used Thunderbolt, defeating Cryogonal. "My last Pokemon. He will be the toughest of my Pokemons. Go, Avalugg" "Him…" Rainbow Dash screamed . "He's the Pokémon who defeated all of my Pokémons" "Sugarcube, calm down. It's his battle" Applejack commented. "Warampharos, again, Charge" "Avalugg, Curse" Both of the Pokémon increased their stats. "Now use Thunderbolt" "Earthquake" Avalugg took the powered Thunderbolt, but Warampharos fainted, due to the very great damage. "Twilight, it's your turn" And Twilight came, ready to fight. "I see you have the Legendary Pokémon" "I took her from a bit of days but this doesn't mean I believe also in her" "Avalugg, Gyro Ball" "Twilight, stop Avalugg with your Aura Sphere" But Avalugg's Gyro Ball reflected her Aura Sphere, hitting her and doing a super effective damage. "It hurts" Twilight yelled. "Twilight, can you still battle? If you're tired, we can stop this" "Don't worry, I...I want to do this" Wulfric commented. "I see your tough soul, Twilight. You and your Pokémon battled as only some people can. Here is the Iceberg Badge" Calem grabbed it. "Now you should have all the Kalos Badges. For all the people who got them there is a special party, organized by a girl called Pinkie Pie. It will be tomorrow during the evening in Anistar City. Why you don't go?" "It seems a great idea. Thanks Wulfric" and they got out of the gym, picking the way to the Pokémon Center to have some rest. But Twilight was too tired to stand up and walk, so Calem... "Twilight" "Yes?" The evening passed quickly and everyone returned to their own houses, while Calem and Twilight decided to sleep in the Pokemon Center. But then he heard a familiar voice. "Calem" the voice echoed. "Korrina?" He said; meanwhile, Twilight was disappearing and the gym leader took her place. "So now you go out with Pokemons, huh?" "Korrina, I can explain" "You don't have to. First you refused me, you refused me like garbage: I loved you, I *sniff* wanted to feel it" "And I didn't agree because I thought it was..." Korrina shut him. "Oh, you don't need to talk more, sir. Now you will pay a big price" and she charged in her hand a little blue sphere "A" "Korrina, what are you doing?" Twilight's awakeningCalem was in the deepest part of the Team Flare Secret HQ, standing in front of a cage, surrounded by four metallic wires, in which a lavander-coloured flower was absorbing energy given by the machine. Then, it started glowing, emitting a light, which became brighter after time. It was also surrounded by a purple aura which disappeared shortly after. Then, the cage itself disappeared and revealed a levitating, fairy-like creature with lavender-coloured skin ans wings, pony-like ears, long purple hair and a cute pink dress with boots. Calem opened his mouth a little after witnessing her. Twilight, the legendary Pokémon, had just awakened. She broke the glass surrounding the cage and landed, invoking fear in Calem. Instead of attacking, however, she looked at him and asked him a question. "Is everything alright?" Calem wanted to ask if she can talk, but instead burst into tears and got on his knees "Oh dear. Did I scare you? I didn't want to, sorry." "No, it's nothing." He sniffed and stopped crying."But why aren't you attacking me?" "Why would I do that?" she asked and offered him her hand so that he could stand. Then, she introduced herself. "I'm Twilight, Twilight Sparkle, Princess of Life." "I'm Calem. Nice to meet you." he replied, confused of the friendly behavior of this Legendary Pokemon. Shortly after, someone else entered the room. It was Calem's friends, Shauna and Serena. "Hi there, Calem." Shauna said. "So you befriended the Legendary Pokemon?" "Hey there, I'm Twilight Sparkle. Nice to meet you too." "It can talk?" Serena shouted. "She. Can't you see I'm a female?" Twilight replied, annoyed. "So this is the mighty Twilight Sparkle? Pff. I excpected more from the Legendary Pokemon of the Kalos region." Lysandre, Team Flare's boss, appeared in the room. "But you think you will stop my wish of destroying this horrible world? I'll take back the legendary Fairy Pokemon and the Ultimate Weapon shall be complete" he said, tightly grabbing Twilightps hand. She responded by screaming out for help. "Help! Help! Ahhh!" "Leave her alone!" Calem said, freeing Twilight from Lysandre's grip. "Oh, look what we have here: a young little hero who saves his Princess of Life. But playtime is over, wake up and watch the inevitable end of this world." "Not if I stop you. I challenge you to a Pokemon Battle!" Calem replied, with a serious tone in his voice. "the winner will take Twilight Sparkle." "So be it!" Lysandre said and picked a Pokéball."Go, Mienshao." He threw it on the ground and the Pokemon Mienshao appeared. "Mien" said the pokemon. "Go, Warampharos!" Calem shouted, and throwed his Pokeball. A a yellow sheep-Pokemon without wool, an Ampharos, appeared. He was holding an Ampharosite and was really wanted to win, even more so than Mienshao. "Warampharos, listen. You can't lose this battle and neither can your friends. A mistake will be fatal for our world, so we can't afford mistakes this time, okay?" "Amph" the Pokemon replied. "And now..." Calem pushed a button on his Mega Ring, which emitted a multi-coloured light. The Ampharosite started glowing and surrounded Warampahros in a sphere of light. Shortly after, it disappeared and he gained Wool hair and a wooly tail. This was his Mega Evolution. It roared at Mienshao (or at least tried to) but it didn't scare it. "Mienshao, Swords Dance!" Mienshao's "hands" became longer and the Martial Arts Pokemon performed a strange vigorous dance. "Warampharos, Thunderbolt" the Light Pokemon unleashed a powerful thunderbolt, which hit Mienshao and caused him to faint. Lysandre withdrew him back into the Pokeball and sent out Pyroar, the Royal Pokemon. "Pyroar, Hyper Voice" the Fire Pokemon's roaring created sound waves, which slammed Wampharos into a wall. "Warampharos, are you alright?" the Pokemon nodded in response. "Okay, use Thunderbolt again" Warampharos used another thunderbolt, which shocked Pyroar and made him faint. Lysandre withdrew him back into the pokeball and sent out another Pokemon. This time, it was a Honchkrow. "Honchkrow, Night Slash" the Pokemon's wings became black and he slashed Warampharos with them, dealing a lot of damage. Nevertheless, it wasn't enough to make him faint. "Warampharos, Thunderbolt again" Warampharos used thunderbolt and Honchkrow fainted. Lysandre, full of anger, screamed. "Who you do think you are?" "Just me" he responded, doing a thumb-up and winking. "Let's see if you'll mantain this boasting attitude. Go, Gyarados!" he sent out a snake-like Pokemon with a very scary face. Warampharos seemed to have victory in his reach, but Lysandre activated a little tool, which resembled a Mega Ring. Then, Gyarados' Gyaradosite glowed and the Pokemon transformed in the same manner of Warampharos, becaming Mega Gyarados. "Warampharos, return" Calem decided to use Warampharos later, knowing that pokemon is very strong. He chose Flygon as a substitute. "Flygon, Rock Slide." Flygon summoned rocks from the ceiling of the Lab, which weren't very effective againts Gyarados. Calem was suprised. "What?! Gyarados should have taken much more damage." "Because, my dear, Gyarados changed his type: now he's Water/Dark type. And his attack strengh is much higher now" "Oh." "Gyarados, Outrage" Gyarados went berserk and hit Flygon with his head and his tail many times, eventually making the Mystic Pokemon faint. Next, Calem sent out Chesnaught, but it too fainted when Gyarados unleashed it's fury upon it. Gyarados was now confused but Lysandre gave him a Lum Berry, which immediately removed its confusion. Shortly after, Calem sent out a Helioptile who attacked him with a Thunderbolt, doing a lot of damage while he was distracted but counter-attacked with an Earthquake, making Helioptile faint.Now Calem had only two Pokemons left, Charizard and Warampharos. Charizard attacked him with a Dragon Claw, weaking him by a great ammount but defeated when the Gyarados used Aqua Tail. Now he only had Warampharos, weakened by the other attacks, to fight Gyarados, who was a lot faster. Lysandre burst into a maniacal laugher. "Who's winning now? Gyarados, finish him with Outrage." the Pokemon went berserk again and was going to hit Warampharos. Twilight, who was watching the battle and hiding behind Calem due to fear, decided to take action. She leaned out of cover and shooted a Moonblast from her hand which immediately made Gyarados faint. Lysandre noticed that Moonblast and knowing Ampharos couldn't learned it, assumed it was Twilight, a Fairy/Psychic, who helped Ampharos win. "This isn't fair. The Legendary Pokemon wasn't supposed to interfere with the battle!" he shouted. "But I..." she tried to response, but she was interrupted by the Team Flare Boss. "Silence. Now you shall be punished."He showed them his hand which had a glowing button on it. "If you really wanted to battle for the life of the Earth, then you'll pay with living...FOREVER" He pushed the button and activated the Ultimate Weapon. Twilight, not losing her mind, quickly teleported everyone out of the building just in time before the machine sent a beam from the sky. When they turned back, they saw the Team Flare HQ destroyed. For some reason, Lysandre was also saved by Twilight, along with other members of Team Flare. Shortly after, they ran away. "Why did you do that, Twilight? Why did you let escape Lysandre?" Calem asked her "Because I didn't want anyone to die. You saw what happened to the lab. I didn't expect that to happen but the Ultimate Weapon destroyed itself. I think they've learned their lesson." Serena changed the subject of the dialogue. "What are you going to do now, Calem? If i'm not wrong, you only need one more badge to get into the Pokemon League. Well done! "I think I'm going to the Pokemon Center, it's late. And you?" he replied. "I think I'll return to Vaniville Town. Shauna, do you want a ride?" "Of course." "In that case, see you later." Calem said as he saw Serena leaving. Now he was alone with Twilight and to shorten their way to the Pokemon Center, he begun asking her questions. "Hey, Twilight." "What's up?" "You live forever? What do you feel?" "I don't know." "What? You don't know what you feel?" "I don't. I was in a very long sleep for most of my life. The last time I was free was two years ago." "And... how was it?" "I don't want to talk about it" Twilight responded, lowering her head as they were entering the Pokemon Center. "Okay, I'll skip this part" Calem said, while he was giving his Pokeballs to Nurse Joy, who smiled, as she always did. "You're... you're the legendary Twilight Sparkle!" Nurse Joy shouted. "Everybody, here is the..." Calem put his hand over her mouth. "No, she's just... ehm... my cousin who... wants to participate in a Pokemon Cosplay Contest" "Ah, why didn't you say so?" she said and put the Pokeballs in the machine, healing the pokemon inside. She then handed him the pokeballs. "Here are you pokemon. Are you going to stay here fot the night?" "Hm-mh" they nodded. "Well then, I hope you'll have a good rest." They went upstairs, using Calem's special Trainer Card to rent a room. They also continued their conversation. "What were we talking about?" Calem tried to remember where the dialogue left off."Ah, yes, you didn't want to talk about that one time when you were free and awake." "Yeah." "What if I teach you what life is all about?" "Hm? I don't understand." Twilight was confused. "It's simple: we're going to do a lot of things and you'll learn how to life, since you're the Princess of Life." "Well, that sounds interesting." said Twilight enthusiastically. "Alright. We'll decide tomorrow what we're going to do" After that, Calem looked at Twilight. "Umm, you don't have any pyjamas." "What are pyjamas?" Twilight asked him "Pyjamas are things you wear when you sleep. Here, have some from me." He gave her cute blue pyjamas. "I'm going to change into them in the bathroom so you can undress calmly. "Why is that a problem for you?" "It's for your privacy. I'll just change in the bathroom." They both put on pyjamas and went to sleep. "Calem?" she asked him, half-asleep. "Yes?" he said, almost alseep. "I'm so excited for tomorrow" "Me too" "Good night" "Good night, Twilight."
Enter New Friends"Good morning, Twilight" yawned Calem as he woke up to the sun that was shining through the half opened window. "Good morning, Calem" Twilight yawned as she stepped into the room, They both dressed their selves with their normal clothes and they went downstairs to have breakfast. "Twilight, Eat up, because we have a very long journey, ok?" "Ok" she picked up the Miltank milk and a chocolate cereal. Twilight didn't know how the food worked…, and by curiosity, she asked. "What are these?" "You don't know? Ah, I think we need to have a lot of lessons" Calem sighed. "This is milk, and this is chocolate cereal. The most complete breakfast of all... I’m guessing you don't even know what breakfast is, right? “Uuumm…no” she smirked. Calem sighed and began to explain. “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, it’s the time when you eat to store up energy so you can face todays hardships." He stopped talking, and then he said with a playful tone. "Do I need to explain what food is?" "No, don't worry, I know what it is" and they both laughed. After they finished the breakfast, they said good-bye to the Nurse and left the building "So, what we're going to do?" Twilight asked. “Today I’ll teach you all about Pokémon battles… Remember when you hit Gyarados with a Moonblast?" Twilight nodded “Yes, that way, but in this world, Pokémon are like friends: we pet them, we play with them, but most important: He paused, “we fight with them" "Fight...with them?" "It's like a game, where Trainers unleash their Pokémon’s power, but this game is also where you read a Pokémon's heart and learn to know them. But, there are some people who use them as items, literally, such as Lysander, who wanted to activate that Ultimate Weapon, using your power" "Ok, I understand" "And now, I want you to meet my Pokémon" Calem threw all his Pokéballs in the air. "Everybody, it's time to say welcome to our friends" and all the Pokémon appeared and saluted in their ways to the Princess of the Life: "Ches!" "Amph!" "Arooo!" "Fly!" "Heliii!" Helioptile was so enthusiastic for Twilight's arrival, he ran to the Princess and signed that he wanted to be snuggled. "Seems Helioptile likes you a lot and you arrived not so long ago: I think you will be very good friends" Calem said happily. "I think so too" she said as she delicately snuggled Helioptile’s head, the Pokémon’s most sensible part. But then, the Generator Pokémon swiftly went to a body part he pointed: her legs. He hanged on her right leg and he slithered his body on the leg, making a pleasured face and tone: "Heli" Calem, and the others were embarrassed, except Twilight, who didn't get Helioptile was acting like a pervert. "Helioptile, what are you doing?" Calem exclaimed. "Heliiii" said Helioptile as he rubbed against twilight leg. "Return…" The Pokémon, caught by the red light of the Pokéball, was returned. <> He thought, but he noticed that Twilight remained neutral throughout the whole thing. <> Twilight looked at everybody's faces and, obviously, she exclaimed. "What's up with those faces?" Calem replied, putting his arm behind his leg and making a false laugh. "Oh nothing…." And he turned to all his Pokémon. "Right, guys?" All of them made their best not to show their disappointment to Helioptile's behavior, especially Charizard, who tried and failed. Then, Calem took out a paper towel, maybe it was needed. Twilight, again, asked. "What are you doing?" "Eh, nothing, I want to polish your leg, so it's totally clean" "Well… thank you" Then, Calem was searching for more of Helioptile signs: luckily, he didn't find anything. "Thanks Arceus" he thought, comforted. After that little incident (which Twilight didn't get), they decided to walk to Snowbelle City. "But why?" Twilight asked, because she didn't know about Gym Leaders, so Calem started speaking about them. "Because I'll face the Gym Leaders: Gym Leaders are people who use very strong Pokémon. There are 8 for each region and if you challenge them and you win, you receive a badge, which attests your victory. If you get all 8 badges, you'll be able to face the Pokémon League" "Pokémon League?" "Yes, the place where the strongest Pokémon Trainers go to challenge the Elite 4, and the Champion. My dream, such as a lot of trainers', is to become the strongest trainer in their region, but some trainers strive for becoming the strongest in the world" "Ah, got it" "Hey, you" someone yelled to Calem, trying to show boldness: a girl with pink hair and yellow skin, with a white t-shirt and a green skirt. "Yes, you. You look like a trainer. I challenge you to a Pokémon Battle." "Ok, ok, but first, what's your name?" Calem asked, who wanted to make a new friend. The girl's attitude changed from determined to shy. "My name is...Fluttershy" "Excuse me, can you repeat louder?" “Fluttershy" she squeaked "Oh, Fluttershy, I heard right?" "Yes" Fluttershy replied. "How about a 3 vs. 3… if you don't mind, uh?" "I can't wait to start" and they prepared the Pokéballs for the battle. But before they started the battle, Fluttershy looked at Twilight, and exclaimed. "Oh my...Is...is that the Legendary Pokémon Twilight Sparkle?" "Hi there" Twilight replied. "And she can talk. Oh, sweet Arceus, I can't believe this. I think I'm gonna lose, she's very strong indeed" But Calem said. "Nah, don't be pessimist" and he turned to Twilight. "Do you want to see how Pokémon battle?" "Oh, well, ok" "Fine. Now sit somewhere and enjoy the battle" as he picked a Pokéball and talked to the Trainer. "I won't use the Legendary Pokémon: she's only going to watch the battle" "Ok…" Fluttershy threw the Pokéball. "Go, Sylveon" the Intertwining Pokémon was ready to fight. "Go, Charizard" Calem was pointing to the type combination, knowing Fairy can't do lot of damage to Fire. "Use Flamethrower" Charizard did a normal damage using a fiery breath. "Sylveon, Moonblast" Sylveon borrowed the power of the moon and hit Charizard, It wasn’t that effective… the Flame Pokémon used Flamethrower again, which hit Sylveon, making him faint. Fluttershy had to withdraw Sylveon and put the Pokéball back into her bag. Fluttershy took out another Pokéball from her pocket and said "Go, Vivillon" the Scale Pokémon appeared and flied up into the sky, showing his beautiful Meadow Pattern. "Charizard, Flamethrower again" it hit Vivillon but he endured the hit. "Vivillon, Quiver Dance" the Pokémon started flying around, being surrounded by a cyan aura. "Now use Hurricane" Vivillon flapped his wings to summon a powerful gale, which caught Charizard in its wing grip and landed violently him: Charizard was knocked-out. Meanwhile, Twilight was seeing how the Pokémon were battling, noticing their effort to do their best and how their trainers were testing the bond with them. "Go, Warampharos" the Pokémon got out from his Pokéball, and then Calem activated the Mega Ring and Warampharos Mega Evolved. "Vivillon, Bug Buzz" "Warampharos, Thunderbolt" Both the Pokémon took great damage but only Warampharos endured the hit, leaving Fluttershy with only one Pokémon. "This is my last Pokémon... oh, I hope this works" She launched the Pokéball. "Go, Charizard" Calem didn't except a Charizard from a shy girl like her, but that didn't mean he would have his concentration lost. But he noticed something; Fluttershy had a Mega Ring, which she used for activate Charizard's Charizardite X, who Mega Evolved, roaring at Warampharos. "Warampharos, return" It was Calem's move. "Go, Flygon, Dragon Claw" The Mystic Pokémon’s claws glowed and he slashed Charizard with them. Too bad Charizard had a very good defense. "Charizard, use Dragon Claw too" That was a powerful slash, which attired a lot Twilight's attention. Flygon was hit and it was an immediate K.O. "Warampharos, I believe in you" The two Mega Evolved Pokémon looked at each other with a challenging stare. Before Charizard unleashed another Dragon Claw, Warampharos blocked with his pins. "Charizard, use another Dragon Claw with max power" The Flame Pokémon put so much power in his Dragon Claw that Warampharos was pushing back, trying to block the hit again. "Dragon Pulse" The Light Pokémon was preparing his last attack, but before he could shoot it, Charizard hit him right in his face, making him faint and letting Fluttershy win the battle. But Fluttershy wasn't so happy at last. "Oh my...Did I defeat your Pokémon? I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I didn't want to do this" "Don't say that. Be happy, you won…" "Forgive me, please" "You're forgiven if you'll have a little lunch with us. Okay?" "Sure" They used Charizard to fly to Lumiose City, where they could cure their Pokémon and find a delicious restaurant. At last, they decided to have a sandwich. But there was one problem: "I'm vegetarian." Fluttershy said. It was a problem because Calem didn't want to give a bad impression of him, too late… he already ordered a Tauros meat sandwich and a grilled Magikarp, it smelled and looked very delicious. The boy wanted to struggle his meat hunger, but he failed, he looked at it one more time, and then he ate, and ate like there was no tomorrow. Twilight followed his example, because he was her master and everything was an example to follow, so she ate as the same manner as Calem. Fluttershy, initially, stayed silent, but then she laughed, with the others, amused by that little incident. Fluttershy decided to talk to Calem about how he met the legendary Pokémon. "I mean, that's incredible. The Legendary Pokémon Twilight Sparkle is here. How did you meet her?" "Have you heard of the Team Flare? Their secret lab in Geosenge City was using her energy to activate the Ultimate Weapon" "The Ultimate Weapon?" "It was terrible" Twilight entered the speech. "All my strengths stolen by that infernal machine" "When I came in the room where she was in her sleep form, she suddenly awoke, but she didn't attack me. So I stopped the Team Flare Boss Lysander, with a little help from Twilight. And now we're here" Fluttershy turned to Twilight and asked. "So how’s it like living forever?" "You know, Fluttershy:" Calem responded in place of Twilight. "I asked the same thing to Twilight one day and she replied that she had lived too long and has nothing else to look forward to “She nodded in claim. “So I decided to show her how beautiful life is." "Great. You can count on me." Fluttershy said. "Maybe if we become friends, we could do this often and I can help you too" "Friends? What are friends?" "Listen carefully, Twilight, because this is very important." Calem said in a serious tone. "Friends are people that are very important; they are people who you'll spend the most part of your time, in different modes. But not only: they are people who you confide your deepest emotions or you ask some advice for problems, in other words you ask for help. Also Pokémon are friends, you can talk with them and they can understand your problems, even if you don’t say anything. And there we have two kinds of friends; the true ones, and the fake ones. But during this journey I learned a thing. In the right or wrong side, Pokémon are always with their partners. Do you remember the battle with Lysandre?” Twilight nodded. Calem continued. “His Pokémon were fighting beside him, though it was for a bad cause, they believed in him and in his ideals. But, human or Pokémon, there is one particular rule for the friends" "What is it?" Twilight questioned curiously "Friendship is Magic. Don't forget these words, Twilight, never" Fluttershy clapped at that speech. "Bravo. You talked very good about friendship" After they finished the talk, they decided to go to one of the famous Lumiose City boutiques. It was 3 p.m., but the sun's heat was raging merciless. The owner of the boutique, a girl with a milk skin, purple hair, boots and a white T-shirt, was sewing some clothes, using a Leavanny's String Shot for the silk, but she didn't notice them immediately. "Oh,sorry I didn’t see you there. Sorry, I was working on a new clothe" She interrupted the work and she came at them. "What I can do for you?" "Nothing special. We wanted to buy some clothes" Calem said "I understand. If you need me, I..." She interrupted, because she noticed Twilight Sparkle. "T-t-t-that's the L-l-legendary Twilight S-Sparkle. Oh, my. What is she doing here?" "It's a long story" Calem said and he explained all the things he told to Fluttershy. "Oh…ok" "What's your name?" Fluttershy asked "The name’s Rarity darling. And this here is my Leavanny" "Leavaaaanny" "So, do you want some help to teach Twilight Sparkle the beauty of life?" Rarity continued "Of course dear. I would never pass up the chance to spend time with such a marvelous Pokémon" "Then why you don't try these beautiful clothes?" Rarity said, assuming an enthusiastic tone and pointing at the clothes of the Boutique. "Clothing is an art that lets people know how you are and what you do.” So everybody started wearing lot of clothes: Fluttershy, for example, tried on herself a fitted short dress; Calem had to hide his blush. "Damn, her body is gorgeous" he thought. Twilight also tried some clothes on (but not before Calem and Fluttershy explained to her what clothing was for… that was an awkward discussion especially for Fluttershy), some clothing fit Twilight very well. The time passed very quickly, they all decided to take 3 pieces of clothing. But before they could pay Rarity... "I challenge you to a Pokémon Battle" Rarity said "It seems you, Calem, are a Pokémon Trainer. If you'll win, you can take your clothes for free. Does that seem fair, darling?" "Ok" and they went to the back of the Boutique, where they could fight. "Go, Leavanny" The Pokémon jumped toward Charizard. "Quick! Charizard, use Air Slash" Charizard came out of the Pokéball and quickly slashed Leavanny in the air, she fell and fainted. "You did your best Leavanny, now return to momma” said rarity as she wiped a single tear. “ lets see how you like this.” She took out a pink Pokéball with a heart on it and threw it in. “Go, Furfrou. Use Headbutt" The Pokémon came out with an amazing pose and quickly stroke Charizard with a powerful Headbutt. Charizard flinched. "Another Headbutt" And with that Charizard fainted, and Rarity smirked at her victory over the Fire type Pokémon “Good job Charizard, return” Calem put the Pokéball in his left pocket and rustled through his right one and took out his netball and said… “Go, Warampharos" The Pokémon came out was ready to fight, but he wasn’t, his Mega Evolution kicked in. "Furfrou, use Headbutt on Warampharos " "Quick, use Focus Blast before Furfrou's head could hit you!” Warampharos blasted Furfrou mid-air and she fainted due to the powerful Fight-type move. "I see you left me with only one Pokémon." Rarity said with a challenging tone. "But this doesn't mean I lost. Go, Ampharos" Also Rarity had an Ampharos, but the most surprising thing was she had a Mega Ring, which she used for Mega Evolving Ampharos. "Warampharos, charge Ampharos" "Don't let him push you" The two Mega Evolved Pokémon were unleashing their strength by pushing each other: the result was Warampharos fainted, pushed and defeated by a critical hit-Dragon Pulse. "Twilight" Calem shouted. "What?" She replied, who was seeing the battle. "Go to battle. Try the adrenaline of a Pokémon fight" and after a little observation, she was ready to fight. "I believe in you. Use Moonblast" "Ampharos, Thunderbolt" Ampharos landed the hit before Twilight could unleash hers. She said. "I'm not going to do this" "But you can. Come on. Again Moonblast" She put all her power and speed to land that hit, which was super effective against Ampharos, who fainted. At the end of the day, they had dinner together and they said good-bye to each other. Before sleeping in a tent, "Oh, today was exciting" Twilight said. "Yeah, you're right" "And thanks for believing in me when I was fighting Ampharos. You're right, fighting is amusing. I hope also tomorrow will be like this day" "Don't worry. it will be more fun, because we met new friends" Twilight yawned and said "Good night. And thanks again" "Good night"
Bad memories are badThe next morning, the group decided to join the famous party in Anistar City, but first, due to the sunny day, they decided to have a training session for Calem's Pokémon, to get them stronger for the League. "The Pokémon League is gonna be difficult. So we need to train a lot your Pokémon’s speed and power" After the hard training, the sun set, and everyone started to make their way on to the party that was going to start any minuet and the party was going to start. Thanks Arceus you're here" And he turned to the gang. "this guy has all the badges, and he brought some girls who don’t have any badges" "Who cares? Let them pass" "But Ms. Pinkie” She stares at him menacingly. “Ok" and he moved out. Calem thanked the girl. "Thank you… wait, your Pinkie Pie?" "Yep, that’s me. You know, a party is made for entraining people, making them happy, and to keep them united. I couldn't just let your friends be out here. That wouldn't be nice." So Calem, after looking at her, he changed his sight on Pinkie's who was coming on t the stage. "Hey Everybody. Congratulations on getting all of the badges you need to enter the Pokémon tournament. Here they are, the Elite 4!!!" the reflectors pointed to them. "Siebold, The Water-type Trainer he’s also a good cook" "Nice to meet all my challengers" he said smiling as he gave a kiss to the crowd. "Your next Elite is Drasna, a Dragon-type Master from Sinnoh" she was blind, because a Druddigon was carrying her. “I’m looking forward to challenging all of you" she said as she smiles and waives. "Malva, the Fire-type journalist" "I used to be one of the members of Team Flare. But then I changed my ideals" "Wilkstrom, the Steel-type Trainer" "I can't wait to see what kind Pokémon I'll battle" "And finally the moment you’ve all been waiting for…” Drums roll *DUDUDUDUDUDUDUDDUDUDUDUDUD* “the Champion Diantha." She received an entrance full of hisses and applauses. "Mrs. Diantha, what do you want to say to all the trainers who are going to challenge you?" Pinkie asked and gave her the microphone. "Well, first, don't forget Pokémon are especially your friends, so you have to treat them well and believe in the-" Pinkie took away the microphone before Diantha could finish the speech "Thanks for the speech. And now, here we have Roxie and her band, My Little Venom Rock, from Unova. Roxie, Jam it up!!!" "Who wants some ROCK!!?" Roxie yelled. "YEAAAAAAAH" the crowd responded, she grinned and she started singing with her band; meanwhile, Calem decided to have a walk around, he didn't care about the party (but he missed the part when Rainbow Dash's Riolu got out from the Pokéball and started playing the electric guitar) he was surprised of seeing the Shalour Gym Leader at the party. He didn’t seem to happy that he saw her. He had bad memories of her. He went outside only to notice that he wasn't alone. Drasna was there with her Druddigon, she was catching some fresh air too. She felt his presence when he came outside. "Hey, is someone there?" "Um. Yes" "Ah, I suppose you're one of those young trainers. Why you aren't in the party?" she looked at the opposite direction where Calem was standing. "I...I didn’t wanna stay in there" he answered, looking at the party. She finally noticed where he was standing and looked towards him. "Are you alright? I can tell by your voice that there’s something wrong" "No, it's alright" But he thought. <> "You're not telling me the truth. Come on, tell the truth" << Looks like I don't have any choice>> "Ok, ok. I saw a person I didn't want to see" "Who?" "Ko..">"Korrina" "The Shalour Gym Leader? But why?" "It's a long story..." Calem went into a flashback ****************************************************************************** Calem was walking through Route 5, when a Lucario suddenly appeared. After it appeared, a girl shouted, "Wait, Lucario. Here you are" Calem looked at the Trainer. "Sorry, I was doing some training with Lucario, when he felt a particular aura and he ran off. Anyway… I'm Korrina" she passed her hand. "Nice to meet you..." Calem was looking at her body: when he looked at her he felt a sweet sensation that wasn’t familiar to him: maybe he was attracted to her. "Hey. I'm talking to you. What's your name?" "Calem… My name is Calem" "Strange, you weren't responding. Were you thinking about something?" "Err...No no no no. sorry I got distracted" he apologized. "Hope to see you soon" "Ok see you soon” she walked away, rolling in her skates. Calem looked at her with a Magikarp face…yes, he had a crush on her, and Arceus wanted them to meet, also for a Pokémon Battle at Geosenge City and even for the Gym Battle, at Shalour City, but most importantly, for the Mega Evolution Battle. And here started everything: Korrina was excited for the battle of Mega Evolutions. "Wow, what an intense battle" <> he thought, but he said. "Oh, yes. Of course" "And now what are you gonna do?" He was thinking of going on badges collection, but... "I think I'm going to stay here for a bit" "Great, we can have fun together" <>one month passed after he made that decision, he was still at Shalour City with her new friend Korrina. One evening, at the Tower of Mastery, they were in the place where their Lucarios' fought. "Do you remember?" "Yep. Good times. I’ve only known you for a while and now I even stay at your house" "Yeah" the sun was setting. Calem was thinking of revealing his crush on her. But he didn't need to do it, because Korrina approached to him dangerously and she placed her arms onto his neck. "I know your feelings for me. Calem got surprised by that act, thinking he was dreaming, but then he went on, enjoying their tongue exchange: he was kissing the most beautiful person he's ever met. They even fell on to the ground, Korrina and Calem noticed that there was someone taking pictures (they didn't care about a the paparazzi who took a pictures of them). When they finally finished the kiss, it was dinner time, but they decided to pass that special evening out of Korrina's house: they bought some sandwiches and they ate them under the moon. But most importantly, they enjoyed another kiss, it was way better than the sandwiches; Korrina went on the dominant position and, after the kiss, she said with a lustful voice. When they were taking to the Route 19, they saw a farm. "Strange." Calem commented. "I've never remembered a farm there" "So this means..." Rarity said worried. "We’re in...Private property" "I hope the farmers aren't aggressive" Fluttershy gulped. *Click* A weapon's noise broke the silence and a voice started talking. "Don't move a muscle. If you do, I'll shoot you" "Who are you? Show yourself" Calem asked, showing no fear. Meanwhile, Twilight noticed where the gun was appearing: from the top of a tree. So, she used her magic to break the gun and bringing out the bomber from her hide place: a girl with a carnal pink skin color, a beige hat, yellow hair, white T-shirt and a blue skirt. The girl, without any possibility of defending herself, rose up her hands, showing her surrender. "Who are you?" Calem asked again. "Why you were attacking us?" "Ah'm...Ah'm Applejack" "Alright, Applejack, what's wrong?" "Y'all were too near our farm. Ah thought you for bad boys" "We were only passing by here. Nothing of importance" "Oh, well, in this case Ah'm sorry, sugarcubes. It's because it isn't a good period for our family" Applejack apologized. "Why?" "We can't find a medicine for curing her by the poison. We tried even Pokémon Antidotes, but they don't work. Oh, Princess of the Life, please, help mah sister" "Please, help her" the others continued the supplication. So, Twilight's hand glowed, forming a white orb, then, she put it onto her forehead; the orb entered in Applebloom's body, doing the wanted effects: now the little girl was less pallid and she opened her eyes. Applejack's family was immediately in celebration for Applebloom's healing: lot of greetings by all the members were received by Twilight and Calem, especially by Applejack. "Thanks a lot. Really thanks. How we can repay you?" "Ah, it was nothing. You don't have to..." but Calem noticed a Mega Ring on Applejack's wrist. "care for a Pokémon Battle. Of course" "Why not Sugarcube. We can start right now. But let me warning you: Ah'm the strongest of our family" She said, showing the Mega Ring. "And with this? I'm waiting for this challenge. Want to do 4 vs 4?" "Ok, we can start right now" and they moved to the farmyard, where they could start their Pokémon battle. "Go, Miltank" Applejack was the first one to send out her Pokémon. "Go, Helioptile" The Generator Pokémon was Calem's response to the girl's choose. "Miltank, Body Slam" The Pokémon’s huge body slammed Helioptile, knocking out immediately, so Calem had to withdrew him. "Go, Chesnaught" "Miltank, again Body Slam" "Chesnaught, Spiky Shield" before Miltank could hit the Spiky Pokémon, he showed his arms, crafting a spike barrier, which damaged Miltank. "Now use Hammer Arm" Chesnaught's arm became orange and he hit Miltank with it, causing a critical hit and making Miltank faint. "Miltank, return" The Pokémon returned to his Pokéball. "Go, Gogoat, use Aerial Ace" "Chesnaught, dodge it" Calem said, knowing the dangerousness of that move for Chesnaught, so the Pokémon acted, but useless, because the move couldn't miss. But thanks to Chesnaught's tough defense, he could resist to an imminent K.O. "Care attack with another Hammer Arm" it hit and then Gogoat fainted. "Krookodile, go" the Intimidation Pokémon was wearing sunglasses a straw hat, for which seemed he cared a lot, because when it felt, he paid lot of attention to put it in his head. "That Pokémon cares a lot about his style" Rarity commented. "I like him: all the Pokémon should take this Krookodile as an example" "Rarity, this is a battle, not a walkaway" Calem replied annoyed. "Krookodile, set up a Sandstorm" Krookodile started spinning around himself, raising a sandstorm. "My hair!!" rarity said as she covered her hair with her hands. "Chesnaught, Wood Hammer" The Pokémon rolled up, surrounded by a green light; meanwhile, Krookodile was staying doing nothing, leaving himself vulnerable from Wood Hammer. But before Chesnaught could hit Krookodile, he stopped and fainted. "Oh sweet Arceus! How it can be?" "Because, Sugarcube, your Chesnaught was buffetted by the sandstorm" and then Krookodile was surrounded by a red aura. "And this is Krookodile's Ability Moxie" Applejack explained. "In this case, I'll send out a Ground-type Pokémon: Flygon" Flygon came out of the Pokéball. "Use Dragon Claw" "Krookodile, use Foul Pay" Flygon slashed Krookodile, doing again a critical hit and knocking him out, but not before being hit by Krookodile's tail, causing his faint. In other words, it was a dual K.O. "Ah see ya left me with only one Pokémon" Applejack said, picking her last Pokéball. "But this doesn't mean you're going to win, because in this here Pokéball I have mah most important Pokémon: Sugarcube" the apple family, looking at the battle from a safe distance, were commenting about her last Pokémon, knowing that Calem had to stand against it. "Also this..." Calem brought Warampharos' Pokéball. “Is my most important Pokémon. Or better…he’s my friend" "Let this last battle decide who's better" both the Trainers sent out their Pokémon. The mentioned "Sugarcube" was a Garchomp, the Mach Pokémon. And then, both of the trainers activated the Mega Rings, mega evolving the Pokémon. Mega Sugarcube assumed a more menacing attitude after the Mega Evolution, but Warampharos didn't get scared, he was prepared for even worse. "Sugarcube, Earthquake" The land under Warampharos' feet rumbled and little rock pinnacles damaged the Light Pokémon. "Ya should know mah Sugarcube's Sand Force increased Earthquake's power" "Damn it. Warampharos, use Dragon Pulse" Sugarcube took a great damage; both of them were weak, but Sugarcube was going to get victory, due to his speed, which was greater than Warampharos'. "Sugarcube, Dragon Rush" "Gar" the Pokémon flew up in the sky, and then he nosedived, surrounded by a blue aura which gave him a blue nose-diving dragon image. <> He looked right in the sky. << Yeah... That could work>> "Warampharos, use Cotton Guard to deviate Sugarcube's trajectory" "Wha’cha gonna do?" Applejack said, unexpecting that move. Warampharos covered himself with a cotton barrier, which blocked Sugarcube's Dragon Rush and repelled him away. "quick, use Dragon Pulse" Warampharos shoot the move, Calem saw the beam fly through the air it making a big explosion in the sky as it hit Sugarcube, the smoke evaporated and Sugarcube was falling, when and making Sugarcube faint. That move decreed Calem's victory, an epic pause and then a scream from the family, acclimating the winner. Applejack had to admit her defeat, but they became good friends anyway. Calem after telling his plans was invited with her friends to stay in Applejack's farm and he accepted. After the dinner and before sleeping, Calem talked to Twilight. "Twilight, you've just done a good thing today" "What?" "You helped Applejack's sister curing her from Vileplume's poison. Another hint about friends is good ones always helps everybody" "So...I helped her?" "Exactly. That's what good friends do. Another example is when we met; you helped me to stand up. You're on the right way, Twilight" "Oh... Well, thanks" "Goodnight" "Ah, another thing..." "Yes?" "Tomorrow what we're going to do" "We'll get the 8th badge if there won't be any problems" "Well, in this case, goodnight" "Goodnight" The next morning they woke up early as usual. Meanwhile, a cyan-skin girl with rainbow hair, white t-shirt, white and pink striped skirt and a cyan jacket was going out the gym angrily. The Gym Leader Wulfric said to her. "You don’t always have to show all of your Pokémon’s attacks, the opponent can take the advantage of the attacking..." "Yeah, yeah, blah blah blah, BUT PLEASE..." "Don’t use that tone of voice on me, it isn't polite talking to older people like this" and Wulfric returned in his gym. The girl was leaving the place, muttering angry words. "What's up? Why you're so angry?" Calem asked. "Why you care? Anyway, Wulfric, the Gym Leader, defeated me. I mean, I had my dear powerful Pokémon, especially my Mega Lucario" She said, showing her Mega Ring. "Seriously, I don't know why it happened." But then she stopped talking, and noticed Twilight. Suddenly her eyes went wide and started saying " S-she's the l-legendary Twilight Sparkle? Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh, this can’t be real!!" "Hey, calm down. Yes, I have the legendary Twilight Sparkle" Rainbow giggled. "Please, let my team battle her. 6 vs 1, after all she's a legendary, she can take an entire team" "Twilight" Calem said. "Now we'll have a more challenging battle. Do you feel like doing this?" "Of course" After her last battle, she wanted more of them. "OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHSHECANTALK…let's start the battle" "But first who are you?" Calem asked. "Rainbow Dash" "Ok, let's start" Rainbow picked the Pokéball. "Go, Lucario" "Arr" Calem saw how Lucario was determined, he has never seen so much determination in any Aura Pokémon he has met. Rainbow activated the Lucarionite which Lucario was bringing, mega evolving him. "Bullet Punch" Lucario's fists became pure metal and he hit Twilight with them, at speed light. "Aura Sphere" Mega Lucario fainted. "No! But I thought I was hitting first" "Bullet Punch isn't that strong. Even in Mega Lucario’s form” "Who cares? I've already 5 Pokémon. And in this case, I'll put in my next attack the max power. Go, Hydreigon! Use Hyper Beam" Hydreigon shot from his three heads three powerful beams, creating a very big explosion. "Twilight, Geomancy" "Ok" and she placed her hands on the snow field, creating a rainbow light spectrum and absorbing energy from the nature. "Why you're using a state move? State moves are stupid" "Wait until Twilight is charged" "Hydreigon, Iron Head" "Azand..." he was too tired to attack. Meanwhile Twilight used Geomancy, freeing a pink aura and increasing her Sp.Atk., Sp.Def. and Speed. "Iron Head" "Moonblast" Twilight was by so far quicker than Hydreigon, hitting him with Moonblast and defeating the Brutal Pokémon. “Is Geomancy stupid now?" Calem said with a provoking tone. "We're not done yet. Go, Talonflame" she sent out Talonflame, hoping to out speed her. "Psyshock" Twilight's eyes glowed and a mysterious power hit Talonflame, who fainted. "Staraptor, use Brave Bird" Staraptor went away for charging his attack and then he returned, covered by a red aura. "Moonblast" Before the impact, Staraptor got hit and he fainted. "Altaria!!" Rainbow Dash was now feeling ticked off. "Moonblast" and Altaria was gone. "Go, Riol..." "Psyshock" And Calem won. "Argh. Dang it. I lost…" Rainbow Dash cursed. "Wulfric was right: you put too much offensive, but not only: you need strategy, or else you'll never win, even if you really love your Pokémon" "Ok, ok, I admit it. But you were a good opponent" "Also you" "And now? What you're going to do?" "I'm going to challenge the Gym Leader" "In this case, good luck, he's tough" And Calem, after he cured Twilight, went inside the Gym. The Gym Leader presented himself. "I'm Wulfric, Snowbelle Gym Leader. I saw you when you were battling Rainbow Dash. You seems a good trainer. I expect a great battle. Are you ready for a 3 vs 3?" "Yes" "Then let's battle" They took place in the icy field. "Go, Abomasnow" "Go, Charizard" "I see, you point on the type advantage" Wulfric grinned." But don't expect to win like this. Abomasnow, Rock Slide" "Charizard, Flamethrower" after Abomasnow summoned lot of rocks, he used them to protect from the attack, then he threw them. "Dodge it" Charizard dodged the rock slide, but he was buffeted by the hail. "Again Rock Slide" Abomasnow attacked again with the rocks, but Charizard dodged the attack again. Wulfric, tired of the same drag, decided to freeze Charizard's wing. "Abomasnow, use Blizzard to freeze Charizard's wing" Abomasnow unleashed from his mouth a powerful blizzard, which froze Charizard's wings. "Now use Rock Slide" Charizard was going to get hit, but Calem saw the ice stalactites and he had an idea. "Charizard, melt that stalactites with your Flamethrower" The stalactites melted as Calem thought, becoming water which soaked the rocks, disintegrating them. "Yes, as I hoped the rocks couldn't resist a little bath and they crumbled. Now it's your opportunity, Charizard: Flamethrower" Abomasnow fainted. "Go Cryogonal, Ice Beam" Cryogonal shot a powerful Ice Beam, which froze Charizard. "Now Sheer Cold" Charizard couldn't dodge the hit and he got invested by a lethal cold wave, fainting. "Go, Warampharos" And after the Mega Evolution, Warampharos was ready to fight. "It's foolish Mega Evolving a Pokémon and exposing him to a weakness that he didn't have before" "Yes, but I heard Cryogonal are tough against Sp.Atk., so I had to. And anyway I trust my Pokémon" "Hmpf. We'll see if this bond will survive my Cryogonal's Ice Beam" "Warampharos, Cotton Guard" The cotton got frozen by the Ice Beam. "Warampharos, Charge" "Broke the ice with Rapid Spin" Warampharos charged and before Cryogonal could hit him, he used Thunderbolt, defeating Cryogonal. "My last Pokemon. He will be the toughest of my Pokemons. Go, Avalugg" "Him…" Rainbow Dash screamed . "He's the Pokémon who defeated all of my Pokémons" "Sugarcube, calm down. It's his battle" Applejack commented. "Warampharos, again, Charge" "Avalugg, Curse" Both of the Pokémon increased their stats. "Now use Thunderbolt" "Earthquake" Avalugg took the powered Thunderbolt, but Warampharos fainted, due to the very great damage. "Twilight, it's your turn" And Twilight came, ready to fight. "I see you have the Legendary Pokémon" "I took her from a bit of days but this doesn't mean I believe also in her" "Avalugg, Gyro Ball" "Twilight, stop Avalugg with your Aura Sphere" But Avalugg's Gyro Ball reflected her Aura Sphere, hitting her and doing a super effective damage. "It hurts" Twilight yelled. "Twilight, can you still battle? If you're tired, we can stop this" "Don't worry, I...I want to do this" Wulfric commented. "I see your tough soul, Twilight. I like the way you want to keep battling" "Thanks" "But...this doesn't mean I won't be merciless. Avalugg, finish her with a Gyro Ball" Avalugg spinned again: another hit and Twilight would get fainted. But Calem had again an idea. "Twilight, again Aura Sphere" reflected by Gyro Ball. "And now Psyshock" Twilight's eyes glowed, hitting Avalugg from behind with a mysterious power, defeating him. Calem had defeated Wulfric, who said, happily. "Your victory was deserved. You and your Pokémon battled as only some people can. Here is the Iceberg Badge" Calem grabbed it. "Now you should have all the Kalos Badges. For all the people who got them there is a special party, organized by a girl called Pinkie Pie. It will be tomorrow during the evening in Anistar City. Why you don't go?" "It seems a great idea. Thanks Wulfric" and they got out of the gym, picking the way to the Pokémon Center to have some rest. But Twilight was too tired to stand up and walk, so Calem... "Twilight" "Yes?" "You seem too tired to walk. Here, lay on me" as he bent over to let Twilight place herself on him. "Are you sure?" "Of course" and she went on, placing her hands on Calem's shoulders. Calem blushed a little. Twilight was heavy, but he kept going to the Pokémon Center where everybody could have some rest.

But then he heard a familiar voice. "Calem" the voice echoed. "Korrina?" He said; meanwhile, Twilight was disappearing and the gym leader took her place. "So now you go out with Pokemons, huh?" "Korrina, I can explain" "You don't have to. First you refused me, you refused me like garbage: I loved you, I *sniff* wanted to feel it" "And I didn't agree because I thought it was..." Korrina shut him. "Oh, you don't need to talk more, sir. Now you will pay a big price" and she charged in her hand a little blue sphere "A" "Korrina, what are you doing?"
