Princess Luna. A pony with no clue how to act. A pony needing a good place to go.
This mare's heart begs for some where to go. Somewhere where she can fit in. Be happy, have friends that truly appreciate the night that she works hard to bring.
If only anypony else understood the beauty behind the darkness of night, and could see the stars and moon the way Luna saw them, but unfortunately that pony doesn't exist. Well, they're not around here anyway..

Princess Luna woke up from her deep sleep and stretched her legs. Just because this day was no different to any other, doesn't mean she can stay in bed all day like a normal pony. She was a princess after all, and should act like one no matter how she feels.
As she gets ready for breakfast her sister, who she called Tia, sat on her throne ordering the guards to keep calm.
Luna overheard the panic of the guards, the ponies of Canterlot and of course the heavy breathing of her sister.
Finally putting her last shoe on, she gallops down the stairs to her sisters throne room.

"Sister! What's going on?!" Luna yells from the door.

"Luna! Come in, and I will explain!" Celestia yells back, giving the guards a signal to leave the throne room.
As the guards leave, still in slight panic, Luna walks down the red carpet towards her sister.

"Tia.. Why is everyone panicking?" Luna asks, trying to remain calm.

"Now Luna, just remember its not your fault but-"
"What's not my fault??!!" Luna interrupts.

"Your night. It has brought something to Equestria that is not safe."
