Blaze, a former Manehattan Fire Pony, has left the big city in an attempt to forget a tragedy that struck him and his crew while on the job.

Now in Ponyville, with the memories of his past still haunting him, he begins life a new, as a social outcast.
Slowly, but surely, as he gains friends, his outlook begins to change for the better, and his guilt sheds, revealing that even the most horrible of events can be surpassed with a little help from those willing to give it.
