Timeline of the Eclipse War

A thousand years before the events of the show, a great war happened. A horrible war. One that consumed all of Equestria in fire and death. Yet this war shaped Equestria into what it is today.

The Eclipse war is a full timeline of the war between the Solar Empire and New Luna Republic, along with the new UCI. This timeline is canon up to season 4 (I had to rewrite it for season 3 I am NOT doing that again >.<) and while it might seem WAY out of canon to begin with, it all makes sense at the end. This timeline is for public use So long as you do not claim any of the characters as your own, you are free to write any fanfics based on this fic with any characters at any time.

The timeline works like this. BW stands for the years before the war, DW is during war, and is how many years into the war it is. Finally, AW is after war and is how many years after the war ended have past. Just remember this timeline is to act as a foundation.
