When Equestria becomes threatened it's up to Twilight and the girls to unite with some new friends and save the world. Again.
When some old friends from Twilight's life in Canterlot return she thinks that life may finally be perfect but then when the darkest enemy Equestria has faced in three thousand years rises to power her perfect fantasy is shattered. When she and her friends, old and new, must rise to fight this new enemy, they discover that it's not just their own fates, but the fate of all of Equestria that hangs in the balance.
