Legion's Plague

Previous ChapterNext ChapterNatalie's look-alike kept grinning--she had to, given a good portion of her face was stitched that way. She seemed to be raising a brow as her scythe was held horizontally behind her, as if she were saying "What? I'm not doing anything." Anna's doppelganger tilted her head to the side while holding the bow behind her. She lifted a hand and pointed an almost skeletal finger at Kaleb and, from the looks of it, was quite curious as to why he was there. Lance's evil, undead twin scratched his head behind the ear using one hand and impaled the gunblade into the ground with the other. The other hand then pointed at Kaleb as well, then swiftly flew to his nonexistent chin. He seemed to be trying to ask something, but given his lack of a lower jaw and tongue, he had to resort to literal sign language. A crystal sign appeared and he held it in both hands like he was protesting, and it read "To whom might I assign responsibility of that brute being here?"
Kaleb looked at the Darkened Mirrors of the three living satyrs before him, then met the gazes of the living Anna, Lance, and Natalie.
"What is going on here?" Anna asked, pointing at her look-alike.
"No comment." Lance sighed, shaking his head.
Natalie remained speechless.
"Take your time, I am in no hurry." Sombra said, smiling. "My minions are in no rush either."
Kaleb looked at the dark king briefly, then returned to meet the gazes of the satyrs. The Darkened Mirrors looked at their living counterparts with some sort of interest, then back to Kaleb.
Anna turned to her counterpart. "Your mouth is most normal out of all you three," She said, pointing at her look-alike, "and I was wondering if you could speak."
The counterpart immediately pointed to the scars on her chest with a disapproving frown on her face.
"Okay! I was just wondering! Geez!" Anna sighed, holding her hands up before her.
The counterpart sighed, shaking her head. It had no tone to it; merely being a gust of breath and nothing more.
Kaleb looked at Sombra and could've sworn he was twiddling his hooves like they were over-sized thumbs.
Lance's counterpart took his crystalline weapon and lifted it out of the ground....before loading six crystal bullets into the barrel. He aimed and fired those six shots in such a way the living Natalie's dress practically flew off, revealing her smooth-skinned, huge breasts and cunt in the process. It also revealed her cutie mark: a gold cross with four silver angel wings sprouting out from behind it.
As expected, she screamed like a filly and ended up conjuring censor bars from her greatly-sparking horn to cover the sudden mishap. The dark counterpart was now holding a sign with a smiley face on it.
"I never expected a grade-A whore to look that fine. That, even I can admit." Sombra said, smiling wider.
By now, the living Lance was not only plugging his ears in and wearing a blindfold, but he was trying desperately to stop a sudden nosebleed.
Kaleb's palm connected with his face as he groaned in annoyance.
"Oh.....I forgot.....have I got quite the treat for you. Yes, I am speaking of the naked redhead." Sombra said, grinning so wide a dinner plate could fit into his mouth. He began chanting in ancient Equestrian tongue again and his horn was sparking beyond compare. Soon, another runic circle appeared and from it emerged a crystal being of blackest hue. It had red eyes and spikes, very flexible tendrils, and literally five eyes--each with three pupils and irises with the middle pupil spiked like the north and south poles-- made of amethysts and rubies. It stood on more tentacles that acted like feet, and the main body was teardrop-like in shape.
Natalie's eyes went wide and her jaw hung open, quivering. Her ears fell flat. She began to hyperventilate, shaking her head slightly.
"No...." She murmured. "No.....it.....it can't.....it can't......." Her legs shook as she spoke, and she dropped the Flameheart before rising her hands to her head. They clasped the sides of her head as she kept shaking like a leaf.
Sombra kept smiling, then fled deeper into the hallway. "Seize her! Seize them all!" He commanded in a threatening bellow that truly befitted a tyrant like he. The Darkened Mirrors and Demonic Beholder quickly took up battle stances, as did the quartet with utmost haste.
"This is REALLY bad." Anna commented, loading three arrows into her bow. She took aim and fired them at Lance's counterpart, who dodged two before the somehow slower third hit him dead in the heart. Or rather, where the heart would be considering he didn't fall right then and there. All he did was recoil a bit instead.
Natalie's counterpart began buzzing her wings at a rate only hummingbirds could achieve. She was now hovering inches above the ground as she twirled her scythe around using two fingers and two fingers only with shocking ease. She lifted the spinning blade above her head and pointed her index and middle fingers at Anna, whereupon a black runic circle with a six-pointed star appeared before her and sent a blackened star the archer's way. Anna deftly dodged the oncoming attack a split second before it would've impacted with her horn.
Lance removed his blindfold and earmuffs before loading his own gunblade with two bullets. He shot them at Anna's look-alike, blowing her a raspberry in the process. Both shots hit the Shadow Huntress in the chest, one on top of the other. The Fallen Comrade ran towards Kaleb raising his weapon above his head. Kaleb drew the ivory swords and ivory and crystal connected. The two were equally matched in strength, oddly enough, and stood there with swords locked for a brief moment before they were pulled away and slashed to and fro. Neither had any advantage or disadvantage, taking away bullets and GodCat knows what. The Demon Beholder slithered towards Natalie with blinding speed, only to meet up with an ice shard right in the central eyeball. It screamed a wyvern's pained cry and backed off posthaste. The Dark Seductress saw this and started whirling her scythe again, this time in front of her. She then flew towards Anna and the blade cut the archer's chest diagonally, the middle of the new wound right between her breasts. The archer dropped her bow as the Seductress backed off.
Then and there the archer fell flat on the side of her head and front of her body, her eyes having gone glassy in only seconds.
Lance saw this and his wings snapped open. A look of furious anguish now made itself quite clear on his face: His eyes narrowed as tears began to fall, and his lips curled into a frown unlike any other. His tufted ears fell flat as he began heaving. Slowly, he raised his gunblade and pointed it forward at the wrongdoers. He took a deep breath and shouted a cry of pain with but three words.
VALKYRIE TANK, CHARGE!!!!
At once, the wheels of the metallic behemoth began whirring to life. Kaleb grabbed the Fallen Comrade by the face and crushed his head using one fist. The pieces of the Comrade scattered all over upon impact and dissipated into darkness that quickly fled where Sombra had retreated earlier. He then rushed with haste to pick up the deceased archer and move her out of the way. Natalie grabbed her bow and stood next to Kaleb with her horn sparking in a golden glow. The tank moved forward with such speed a cheetah would've been envious....but it soon stopped as the Shadow Huntress held the hull with her bare hands. Her body was giving way, however, and her hooves slowly began slipping. In response, the machine guns on the hull pointed right at her and opened fire.
The Huntress's body shattered and dissipated into darkness. She was no more. The tank then turned one-eighty and rushed towards the Dark Seductress. The dark mage quickly ascended on buzzing wings, climbing higher and higher until she reached the ceiling. She began forming more dark runic circles around her frame and then she disappeared as a single red mini-sun appeared in her place. It shrunk twice.....and then enveloped everything and approximately a sixteenth of the planet in searing flames. While this looked like the planet would end, it was really a fire-based illusion meant only to harm Kaleb, Natalie, Lance, and everything in and around the Valkyrie tank.
Unfortunately for the Seductress, Natalie had formed a barrier spell around the tank and her small troop, greatly reducing damage to third-degree burns at worst. Said mage then grew two angel wings, then two more smaller ones. Her eyes took on that white glow and her horn was sparking with even more energy. Natalie then rose high herself to meet her doppelganger and grabbed her by the neck using both hands.
A white glow soon encompassed everything again. When it faded, Natalie was on the ground and her doppelganger had just shattered into mere fragments of darkness. The same was true for the Demon Beholder.
Anna stirred awake, fluttering her eyelids as she seemed to slip in and out of consciousness. When she came to, she was placed on her hooves and she plucked her bow from Natalie's hand.
Kaleb was looking down the hall. "We need to follow him. Now." He said.
