Neon's House.
"Rumors about what?," said Cory.
Cloud Sparker said, "A haunted mansion,just a few meters from here,it will be totally awesome!"
"I Don't really think it's a good idea," said Neon.
"Well,i think a little visit won't hurt," said Flasher.
"Aww,but i wanted to stay a night or two so we can explore everything in it!" said Cloud Sparker dissapointed.
Cory said, "I agree with Cloud Sparker,maybe a night won't harm anyone"
"You are the best friend ever!" said Cloud Sparker while hugging Cory.
"What you think,Neon?" said Flasher.
"I still don't think it's a good idea,but sure" Neon said calmly.
"Yay,this will be the best night ever!" said Cloud Sparker excited.
"So,why don't we make preparations before entering?" asked Flasher
"Sure,i can go to the market to buy some candles and matches,im sure it's dark inside there" said Cory.
"I can go to the market to buy food and drinks for a sleepover" said Neon
"Then i'll go to the library to grab some funny books,while we're not exploring we can read something to entertain ourselves!" said Cloud Sparker happy.
"Then i'll buy,i don't know..maybe a camera?" asked Flasher
"Sure,we can take photos of our stay and show them to everypony!" said Cloud Sparker
"Okay,i think we're all set" said Neon
"Let's meet outside of the mansion at half past six,is that okay?" asked Cloud Sparker
"Okay,let's go" said everypony else.
Then they all parted to their respective locations.
Fillydelphia Central Market 03:22pm
"How many bits,sir?" asked Cory
"Thirty Bits,lady" said the cashier
"Okay,here you have." Cory gave the thrity bits to the cashier
"Looks like im ready,im gonna wait outside the mansion,it isn't long before half past six" said Cory
Meanwhile at the food section of the market
"Sixty seven Bits,sir" said the pony at the apple stand
"Okay,here you have miss." Neon gave the pony the 67 bits.
"I Think i can meet up with Cory if im fast enough,we are in the same marketplace anyways." Neon left the marketplace.
Cameras and Batteries 04:12pm
"120 Bits for just a camera and 5 batteries?!" said Flasher angered
"Sorry sir,but we are in a tight economic situation here" said the cashier calmly.
"Okay,whatever you say.." Flasher passed the one hundred and twenty bits to the Cashier.
"Damnit,why one hondured and twenty bits?!" said while Flasher leaving the shop.
"I need to run fastly to the mansion,if i walk i will take 1 hour and that's not cool" said Flasher
Grand Fillydelphia Library 05:30pm
"How many books,sir?" asked the Library Pony
"Three Books,miss" said Sparker
"Okay,three books for four days,correct?" asked the Library Pony
"Yes,correct" said Sparker
"Okay,all fine,but dont forget to bring the books after four days!" said the Pony.
"I will not,miss!" said Sparker before leaving the library.
Cory,Neon,Sparker and Flasher meet around 06:15pm outside the mansion,just like planned.
"Okay,this is it" said Neon
"It looks old,i bet it's like one hundred years old!" said Flasher
"Now when you said it,it's true,it looks very old" said Sparker
"Why don't we open the iron gate already?" said Cory
"I will do it." said Neon while opening the gates with his magic
Just outside the mansion's door 06:25pm
"It has a pretty nice garden,though" said Cory
"I Second,these flowers are precious!" said Sparker while examining the roses and violets.
"Ugh,mares" said Neon and Flasher.
"Okay,let's enter!" said Sparker
"Wait" said Neon suddenly
"What?" asked everypony else
"I still don't have a good feeling of this,why don't we return here tomorrow?" said Neon suddenly
"But Neon!,we have planned this all day and you suddenly tell us that you don't want to enter?!" said Cory in surprise.
"I get a weird feeling,something that says get out of here or around like that" said Neon
"But Neon!,this is going to be fun,i can assure you nothing will wrong!" Sparker walked to the door
"I have a feeling similar to Neon's,but i think nothing will happen,really"
"Okay,but if somepony get hurts,i will blame it all on you,Sparker!" said Neon
"Finally,you were convinced" said Cory
"Okay,this is the plan,when we enter we take a look,maybe the kitchen,bedrooms,bathrooms and interesing places,then we pick a place to pass the night,eat and share stories,next morning we take another look at a house and visit other rooms,we eat something for breakfast and then return" explained Sparker
"Sounds like a good plan" said Flasher
"Yeah,it looks fun" Cory walked to the door
"I agree,but rebember what i said Sparker" said Neon
They all walked to the door and opened it.They didn't know that once their stepped in they fate and friendship as a group will be tested.¿Will they survive this challenge or perish like the rest of the ponies that dared to step inside the mansion?
"Wow,it looks so clean inside" said Cory antonished
"Hey...why don't we go now..i have a really bad feeling for this.." said Neon scared
"What Neon,are you scared?" said Flasher
"Neon,we already told you this..nothing will go wrong!" said Sparker
They were cut off by the sound of something shattering into the ground.
Missing and First Encounter.
Inside the Mansion XX:Xpm
"H...hey...let's get out of here" said Neon more scared than anypone else.
"So stupid" – Cory put a hoof in her forehead – "There's no way monsters can exist,it's scientifically impossible"
Cory walked to the kitchen,where the sound came.
"Hey, Cory" – Neon Shouted – "Be careful!"
Cory walked into the kictchen and saw a fridge, 2 kitches and an table.One door was placed on the other side of the room, but it was locked.
Something caught Cory off ward, a broken plate on the ground.
"So it was a shattered plate,i wonder who caused it to fall.." said Cory curious.
She was cut off her thinking by a sharp noise that came from where her friends were.
"My friends!" said Cory running towards the entrance.
Her friends were gone ,no sign of them were found anywhere.It was like they dissapeared from Equestria entirely.
"Where are they...?" asked Cory.
There were 3 doors ,one leading to the kitchen ,another one that was locked and another locked room to her left.
She decided to go upstairs to see if her friends were there.
Upstairs there were 5 doors ,but only 2 of them were unlocked.Cory decided to go the unlocked door on the right.
Inside there was a table ,1 mirror ,1 large bed and a nice closet.
She walked up to the table and noticed a shiny thing below the chair.
But before she could pick it,the sound of the closet moving made her jump in surprise.
"What was that?" said Cory surprised
She decided to walk to the closet ,when she opened it she found Neon shaking.
"Neon,where are the others ,can you tell me please?" asked Cory
Neon didn't respond
"Neon,are you okay?" said Cory in surprise when she saw the state of his friend.
Neon still didn't respond
"Okay,i guess you aren't.." said Cory dissapointed at the lack of response from Neon.
Cory then walked to the room to her left ,opening it and finding absolutely nothing.
"What's the point of this room.." said Cory dissapointed.
Cory then walked to the room where Neon was ,to pick up the shining thing which was a key.
After picking it up she wondered where it could lead her.Then she rebembered the locked door on the first floor and decided to go there.
It opened ,not knowing that the thing that was there would change her life forever.
"So this is a library,I love books!" said Cory
After exploring for a bit ,checking every bookshelf she saw a table in the center of the room that she never saw before.
"What is this,i never saw this before.." said Cory curious.
She lifted a book,encountering another key.
She picked it ,that moment she did would change her life for the rest of it.
After she picked that key she felt a sudden precence in the room ,she turned her head back and saw..
"What is that thing?!" shouted Cory
It was big pony,even bigger than Celestia.It had a purple color and huge black eyes with no pupils,it's mane was purple too and it's teeth were sharp and...bloody.
Cory decided to run with all her forces,hoping to not be eaten by It.she ran and ran to upstairs and entered the room where Neon was and surprisingly,Neon wasn't there.Cory only thinking of escaping hid in the closet,hoping that the thing wouldn't notice that she was there.
Fortunaly,It didn't notice that Cory was in the closet,once she thought she was safe Cory left the closet.
"What in the name of Celestia what was thing,i guess monsters aren't impossible..but" – Cory walked across the room – "Where are my friends,did they get eaten by that thing..i don't want that to be the case." Cory exited the room.
Cory then walked towards the Bathroom,and unlocked the door.
"This bathroom looks really pristine.." said Cory antonished by the ammount of cleanliness in it "But i have to find my friends,i can't leave them alone with that monster running around" she said.
Cory then noticed a note hidden inside the bathtub,she picked it up and read:
To anypony reading this,
Fix the piano,hide matches under the bed in the second floor and repair the safe in the kitchen
She didn't understand this,a piano? and there's a safe in the kitchen?.
But she wondered even more,how did this note get here first place,did somepony that came here earlier leave it or it was one of her friends?
It was really a mystery.
Cory shrugged it off for a moment,then decided to find where the piano is and try to fix it,she walked up to the second floor and surprisingly,one of the doors was unlocked.
She saw a piano,but the keys didn't work and it was covered by red paint or was it really red paint?.
Maybe she needed a handkercheif and soap to wipe the blood off the piano's keys.
Then she rebembered a handkerchief in the kitchen and she guessed there must be soap in the bathroom.
Cory walked in the kitchen and grabbed a handkerchief off the table,then she found soap in one of the bathroom's kits.
"Okay,all ready for cleaning" said Cory after getting a soap and the handkercheif – Cory wiped clean the blood from the keys – and saw the following number written on the keys: Six Hundred Seventy Nine
"I wonder what this is about,maybe a puzzle or something?" asked Cory
But Cory had no time to waste,she had a puzzle to solve.
Cory tried searching the entire piano room to find something that would help her.When she moved a bookshelf,Cory found a safe with a note sticking to it. It Read:
Match the keys to the shapes by rotating the keys.
And add a extra nine at the end.
To unlock the safe there were four shapes, like a jigsaw puzzle.
"Maybe the numbers could be used here." said Cory
She tried inserting the number that she found in the piano to the safe, but unfortunally, it didn't work.Same happened when she tried backwards or every little combination possible.
She really got into thinking, and then focused on the four shapes.
"These look like upside down numbers." said Cory
The Idea struck to her.
"Upside Down Numbers, That's it!"
She thank about inverted numbers
1 upside down is 1
2 upside down is 2
3 and 4 cannot be turned upside down and still be a number
5 upside down is 5
6 upside down is 9
7 cannot be turned upside down
8 upside down is 8
and 9 upside down is 6
With that said, Cory started to think about the numbers
"So, my number is Six hundred seventy nine,so."
"Six upside down is nine.."
"Seven cannot be turned upside down,so it stays the same."
"Nine upside down is six.."
"Add a extra nine"
She solved the puzzle, the number she got was:
"Six thousand seven hundred ninety nine, that's the number" said Cory
She inserted the number in the safe and, surprisingly, worked.
"Yes!, Finally" shouted Cory in success
Her Victory dance was interrupted by a purple monsted near her.
"Oh, i guess it's time to run.."
She couldn't even lock what was inside the mysterious safe.
