During the month Flower Power became unconscious thanks to his step-father in his head. “So then have you been training on your magic or flying?” said Star Swirl “No dad I haven’t. It’s just that I was busy already learning the element of honesty and laughter. What do think I should learn next?” asked Flower Power “Well it’s up to you son. I’m just dead pony’s voice.” said Star Swirl chuckling at his own joke. “Yeah I guess” said Flower Power as he saw his father fading away again. “Well looks like it’s time for me to wake up, I wish I could talk with you more, but I have so little magic to give.” said Flower Power “Well maybe you that’s what you should work on. Study magic again Flower power. I look forward to our next encounter son.” said Star Swirl as he faded away, waving goodbye. Flower Power began to waken from his unconscious sleep; he opened his eyes and the first think he sees his foalhood friend and uncertain special somepony, Princess Luna and her mane glistening from her sister’s sunshine. “Your finally wake Flowers. It’s been a month now since I’ve seen your eyes.” said Luna “It’s nice to see you again Luna. Am I ready to leave this bed now?” asked Flower “Yes, but first have some breakfast.” said Luna as she was handing him a tray of pancakes, eggs, and juice. “I made it myself, with my own two hooves.” “Thanks Luna” said Flower power as he took his first bite. His eyes grew wide as the flavor kicked in his mouth. He coughed a little in his mouth, not wanting to let Luna to know how bad the pancakes were before swallowing it. “It’s um…… good?” “Now then allow me to massage your wings while you enjoy my breakfast.” said Luna as Flower power made a face of displeasure from the breakfast. “So how long has it been? Anything special happened while I was unconscious?” asked Flower power “One month now and yes some things did happen.” said Luna as she finished massaging Flower power’s wings and helped his out of the bed “I’ll tell you as we walk out.” So Flower Power got to stretch out his legs and heard what Luna had to say. What really came to a shock was that they rehabilitated an ex-villain. “So this Discord…. what’s he like?” “He’s a dragonequus, a beast of chaos, but now he maybe an ally. We still keep an eye on him.” said Luna as she notices him walking down the hall, snapping his fingers, causing things to change. “And here he is. Discord! Stop snapping at once.” “Is there really a law against listening to a catchy tune in your head? I think not. Want to listen” said Discord as he snapped his fingers to let the tune out of his head. “Discord…. you’re making a bad impression to our friend here.” said Luna “It’s alright Luna. I’ll admit it’s kind of catchy.” said Flower Power “See that? Why can’t you be that loose Luna? Anyways I know of your friend here, another element of harmony, like we need another of those.” said Discord as he snaps once again to have Flower Power wrap his hoof around Luna. “And of course Little Luna’s special somepony. *Bleh* how revolting” Erick turned red and took his hoof off of Luna. “It’s not like that. Well I mean it might be, but I want to world save first.” “ha. Good luck with that….. Um…. you know I never really got your name.” said Discord “It’s Flower. Flower Power.” That name just sent a chill down Discord’s back “I see… well I’ll be going now.” he said as he snapped to disappear and put everything back in order. “Could that really have been…. No it can’t be. He died in those caves centuries ago. I made sure of it.” he said as he looked in his mind to remember how Flower power looked like as a foal. “But the resemblance is uncanny. How could he have….. Star Swirl. It must have been him. But why couldn’t he remember me?” “Well that Discord was a…. unusual Dragonequus, but he’s also the first one I met.” said Flower power They continued to talk some more before they made to the front of the castle, where there was waiting the other elements of harmony was waiting for him. “Good to see you’re back on your hooves again.” said Applejack “How are you my good Stallion?” said Rarity “How’s it going?” said Rainbow Dash “It’s nice to see you healthy again” said Fluttershy “Thank you all for coming to see me. Hey wait aren’t you gals missing two?” just as he said that a pink pony tackled him down on the ground, giving him a breath taking hug, literally. “How are you my very special flower?” said Pinkie Pie “Fine…. Pinkie, but can’t…. keep up like…. this.” said Erick as he was starting to get woozy, but a purple beam of magic from the sky to pull pinkie away. “Sorry about that Flower, as you can tell she really misses you.” said Twilight Sparkle Erick stared at her for a few moments before saying, “Twilight Sparkle? You grew wings!?” Twilight soon explained the events of the princess coronation and how she became an alicorn. “Well then it’s nice to know I’m friends with another princess.” said Flower Power "Yeah well just because I’m a princess, doesn’t mean you have to treat me with respect. I’m still the same pony you know.” “Glad to know that. So what brings you gals here?” asked Flower Power “We’re here to help you get back to your home to get ready for your training in the elements, but of course you need a day off and we decided to accompany you in your day off.” said Twilight “That sounds nice, I’m willing to go wherever you gals want to.” said Flower power. So throughout the day everypony was enjoying each other’s company, Erick caught up to date on what’s been going on in ponyville, nothing out the usual, night came by and they were all waiting at the train station. “Well once again, we must part ways Luna, tell your sister I said bye and to not worry about my progress.” said Flower Power “We will miss Erick,” said Luna as she hugged him. “But don’t worry, I’ll always be with you in your dreams” she whispered in his ears as she gave him a peck on the cheek. Pinkie pie then got between them. “Yeah well you might see him in dreams; I get to see him every day and touch him, so hah.” said Pinkie as she wrapped her hooves around Flower Power’s hoof. Flower took his hoof out of her grip “Pinkie please, you hug too tight.” As they got on the train and made their way to the dining cart, Flower made his announcement to the other mane six. “Why Erick I’m honored that you want to learn about my element of generosity next.” said Rarity “I’m glad you accepted me madam. Perhaps we may start training on the morrow?” said Flowers “At the crack of dawn, be at the Carousel Boutique, we’ll have much to do.” said Rarity as everypony finished their plate and wait for the train to stop. It was nearing midnight, Flower power and the others got off the train and parted ways until morning. The sun was beginning to rise as Flower rubbed his eyes and got out with some fruits for a quick breakfast. He got to the boutique, and began knocking at the door “Rarity open the door, I have to train.” said Flowers, but nopony responded, he kept on knocking until he got sleepy and rested on the floor. The time was around nine a.m. when he woke up from a door hitting him on the head. “Ow…. watch how far you swing that thing.” “Sorry Mr. Flowers I’m going to be late for school.” said a little filly with light pink and purple mane. “Oh sorry Sweetie Belle, where’s your sister?” said Flowers “She’s still sleeping, she probably want be awake for another hour. Now excuse me I got to get going.” said Sweetie Belle as she ran off to school “Wait, what!?” said Flowers and he marched up to her room to find her still under her covers, mumbling about her dream. “Wake up.” “Oh my….please, I simply can’t have one more bite.” “Wake up!” said Flower Power as he shook her bed. “Flower, what are you doing here? Can’t you see I’m trying to get my beauty sleep?” said Rarity “Well you said to be here at the crack of dawn, but instead you kept me waiting out there.” said Flower “My apologies then,” said Rarity as she got up and put on morning robes, “Now then follow me to the kitchen and we can get started.” They were both at the kitchen, Rarity was sitting at the dining table, while she used her magic to make Flower Power put on an apron. “Now then, make me breakfast, but just by only using magic.” “Um, are you sure, I barely know little of magic.” said Flowers as he tried to left up a plate with a levitation spell. “Shouldn’t I just read a book on it?” “I believe in hooves on training, to be more effective. (The following events happen during Equestria Girls) After four months under Rarity’s teachings, he has remembered to use the levitation, illumination, and other basic spells for unicorns to know. He has become very helpful since then and even helped Rarity with her job as a clothes designer, but even if he had been drained of his magic each day from helping; his generosity flower petal has appeared in his flank. The sun was brought up again, a new day was brought which means… “Oh great, time to wake up Rarity again.” Flower Power said to himself in discomfort. He got himself ready to Rarity’s standard because of her saying how she won’t have her apprentice looking like a slob, once he was at the front of Carousel Boutique and knocked on the door, a filly opened it and told him. “Finally. You’re ten minutes late.” “I’m sorry Rarity,” yawned Flower Power. “I just had to make myself look nice for you- Wait… Sweetie Belle? Where’s your sister?” “My sister’s went to Crystal Empire with her friends about an hour ago and she wanted me to give you this.” said Sweetie Belle as she handed him a note. ~Dear Flower Power, I am with my friends and will be gone hopefully just for the weekend. I leave my sister in your hooves until I return. Please make sure she is well rested and doesn’t get into trouble. Sincerely, Rarity P.S. just because I’m not here, doesn’t mean you get a day off. ~ “Gosh your sister drives me nuts.” said Flower Power “Yeah I guess.” said Sweetie Belle chuckling, “So then I’m sure that if Rarity’s gone, that would mean so is Applejack… Can I go meet with Applebloom? Please?” said Sweetie Belle. “Alright fine, but first you as your guardian for the weekend I must ask if you’re hungry…. Are you?” said Flower Power. “Nah, maybe later.” said Sweetie Belle as they made their way to Sweet Apple Acres and Dropped off Sweetie Belle at the CMC tree house, where there awaits Applebloom and Scootaloo. After dropping her off, Flower Power went back home and made a to-do list of spells he need to work on. He began to levitate a plate before a loud knocking disturbed him and made him drop it. He went to answer it and saw the three fillies at his porch. “*Sigh* now what?” said Flower Power “So neighbor…. is it alright if we have our crusader meeting here?” said Applebloom “What’s wrong with your tree house?” Asked Flower Power “It’s infested with bees.” said Sweetie Belle “So we have to wait until Big Mac come backs with an exterminator to get rid of them. So can we do our meeting here?” Asked Scootaloo “Well I suppose I have a spare room upstairs, just don’t make mess up there.” said Flower Power as he let the crusaders enter. It won’t long before he regrets it. While practicing more on magic, he heard a loud thump coming upstairs and went to check on them and found the room to be covered in paint with colors that collided with each other. “What happen?” “Well I guess we won’t be getting our cutie marks on painting” said Scootaloo “Or remodeling.” said Applebloom He held back his anger and took a deep breath. “Just go clean yourselves up at bathroom across the hall.” After he used magic to help him clean the paint off, he felt a pony tugging on his mane. “Say we’re kinda hungry, so could you make us some breakfast?” asked Sweetie Belle “Why should I?” said Flower Power “Because Rarity said that you have to take care of me and I’ll tell if you don’t feed us.” said Sweetie Belle with a smile. “Alright fine…” as soon as they left he face-hoofed himself realizing, “I can’t believe I just let a filly threaten me.” He went down to the kitchen, where he saw three hungry fillies waiting for him to make them breakfast. He got out the ingredients and utensils he need and with the help off magic, he made them special pancakes. As they smelled it, their mouths watered and ate them with delight. “These are really good.” said Scootaloo with her mouth full. “Thanks. It’s an old ingredient from my dad.” said Flower Power “You have a dad?” said Sweetie Belle “Well, I had step-dad. I’m sure you might have heard of him in your school, Starswirl the Bearded?” said Flower Power “Wait, Your dad is Starswirl the Beared?” said Applebloom, “I thought he was just a unicorn that isn’t around anymore and made a lot of spells that are used today?” “Well he wasn’t always making new spells, he always made time to spend it with Me.” said Flower Power Interested in him now, the crusaders decided to ask Flower Power more on how was Starswirl was before his passing. Happy to agree, he went to the storage room when he put his old items, he found an old and frail scrapbook filled with black and white pictures of him with his dad. They spent all day looking through it, talking about how life was like for pony folk. “So if you were supposed to be a secret, who was taking these picture?” asked Applebloom “We it was a very trust colleague of my dad, I believe his name was Professor Accord.” said Flower Power. “What did he look like?” asked Scootaloo “I don’t remember. I think he was tall, thin, a dragon I believe. It’s kind of a blur.” said Flower Power Without knowing, Sweetie Belle flipped the book to the next page and saw a pic of his step-dad in a state of depression. “What happened here?” Flower power carefully pulled the photo out and looked at the back of the photo for a date. He saw one written in scribbles and could recognize the date. “This was a day or two after my banishment.” he said to the fillies “Banishment? Does that mean you committed a crime?” asked Applebloom “No. I didn’t commit a crime, they saw me as one.” he said to them. “What happened?” asked Scootaloo “I don’t think this is story young ponies need to hear.” just as he said that, he looked out the window and saw the sun starting to set. “When it’s almost night Applebloom and Scootaloo; you better get going before your family starts worrying. As for you Sweetie Belle, you can sleep here for tonight at the guest room, since I can’t leave you alone.” So as the other two crusaders left, the moon was up and Flower Power tucked Sweetie Belle to bed and was getting ready to sleep as well. This whole day was almost enjoyable, until bad memories were brought up. He was moving around in his bed, clearly having a nightmare. “No please… somepony…. help.” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ His dream was set in place centuries ago, royal guards were walking to the court with somepony in the middle of the crowd, wrapped in chains. They walk down the court; no pony was except them, StarSwirl and The King at the time. The pony in chains looked down to the floor to hide himself from the king “……Look up young colt… I want to see the face of my daughters’ friend.” He lifted his face up and all he saw was anger in the king’s face. “Hello sir.” “If you’re to speak with me, address me as your highness. Now then, you are here for the charges of kidnapping my daughter at the night of the gala, entering my castle, and for hiding yourself from me young alicorn.” said the king. “Now tell me where are your parents?” “…” “ANSWER ME!” “My parents of blood are dead. I only have my step-father.” Said Flower Power “Then tell me his name.” said the king Flower Power refused to point him out. “No. You’ll hurt him if I do.” “Then I will make this quick. By my order, you are here by banished to the Equestria gem mines. Where you will work and be kept hidden from my subjects for as long as you shall live and you shall never see my daughters or your step-father. Eventually, they’ll forgot all about you; The alicorn abomination. Take him away” The King said to the guards. At that moment, those words made him snap. “No…No….NO!” All of sudden a magical explosion occurred and his dream went to static. The next thing he remembers was Starswirl with his hooves around him to settle him and all he say was the chains broken, the guards unconscious, the king against the walls. “Dad….I’m sorry.” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ End of Chapter 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 Chapter 3 It’s been a few days since the nightmare; everything was normal back in ponyville. Flower Power was still training with Rarity and one day Flower Power was offered to join Rarity and Spike on a trip. “A trip to where?” asked Flowers “Well I’m running low on gems from this order I received to make dresses for the mares of the Crystal Empire from Princess Cadence and I heard rumor about an old mine a bit past the train tracks leading to Canterlot and I thought you can help me get some gems.” said Rairty “Come on Flowers. It’s going be great.” said Spike “It’s always fun to go gem searching, not to mention I heard that mine have some rare never before seen gems.” with his mouth watering, “I wonder how they’ll taste.” “Well it does sound exciting so I guess I’m in and maybe I can learn that gem magic you always talk about Rarity.” said Flower Power So by the next morning they made their hike up the mountain. Flower Power was stuck carrying the wagon, spike was carrying a shovel while riding in the wagon and rarity was walking up ahead to lead the way. “Now it should be much further. I can sense the gems around here.” said Rarity “Ugh. That’s was what you said ten minutes ago.” said Spike “I’m exhausted.” “Why are you tired if I’m the one carrying your weight?” said Flower Power As they got closer, Flowers was slowing down as he looked ahead as saw old rusted mine carts, pickaxes, chains. Eventually he froze in place. “Flower? Is something wrong?” asked Spike “…. Rarity. How old is this mine?” asked Flower Power “Well some Say it’s was opened since the times when the two ruled together before Nightmare Moon. Maybe even older. It closed down because of some earthquake” Rarity looked around and found a pile or rubble. “We’re here now. O.k. now start shoveling to get the entrance open while I get ready to search for gems. “Very well.” said Flower Power as he grabs the shovel with magic to get started. As the shovel the way in, Flower Power starts feel the ground move. “What was that?” “What?” said spike “Hm… must be my imagination.” said Flower Power. As they continued to dig, Flower Power hit something hard, it wasn’t a rock because it felt to smooth to be one. He soon uncovered the rest to be a wooden plank with words on it. “Abandoned. No pony allowed in, by the order of King Galaxy.” He stood there frozen in realization of where he was. “Erick? You O.K.… what did you see?” Spike check on what he saw but was they were both blown away by a sudden explosion. They both held in their breath as the bomb was a smoke bomb. Rarity went to check if they were alright and saw three familiar figures from the smoke. “Not you brutes again?” “Get the pony.” said one shadow figure “Quickly before they get up.” said another as they picked up Rarity and tied her up. “Boss will be proud now that we have her back.” said a third figure The smoke cleared as Spike and Flowers saw that it was three Diamond Dogs that had Rarity. “Not you three again!” said Spike “Spike, Flower; You have to Save Me!” said Rarity as they started to burrow down and cover their hole so they can’t follow them. “Rarity! NOOOOOOOOO!” said spike “Flower Power we have to go save her.” Flower Power was still frozen until spike slapped him to consciousness. “Ow, what happen?” “Rarity was just kidnapped by diamond dogs and we have to save her.” said Spike “No way, we’re too outnumbered. We have to back for help” said Flowers “But if we do, they might seal up the entrance.” said Spike. They both continued to argue back and forth about their course of action. “Why won’t you go help her!? I thought she was your fri-“ “Because it’s my death site! There I said it.” yelled Flower Power “What?” “Look spike, this mine was open when me and the princesses were still foals. When I was caught, their father banishment me to work here forever, wrapped in chains so I couldn’t escape. But then, an earthquake happened and a few fellow miners died under the rubble. The rest made it out… except for me. I soon died of starvation, if it happen been for Starswirl.” “I didn’t know.” said Spike “It’s o.k. no one else knew a foal was trapped in there. So that’s why I can’t. It’ll bring back to many memories.” said Spike “Well, if you can’t do it, then I guess it’s up to Me.” said Spike as he slowly walked into the mine, but it was a trap as he went in deeper, two paws appeared to make the entrance collapse. “Spike look out!” said Flower Power as he rushed in and pushed he towards the cave along with him. “Oh dear Celestia no!” said Flower Power as he tried to dig his way out. “No no no no no. not again, please open, please” said Flower Power as he started to hyperventilate. Spike soon slapped him across his face. “Snap out of it. We’re stuck in here, and it’s up to us to save Rarity, and get out of here. O.k.” “….o.k.” said Flower Power as he got up. “Well then, if I recall, right now we can only go down but then there’s a split soon.” He then found a mining cart and put spike on it. “We came here for gems, so we’ll collect as we travel.” So they went down and got some gems as found the split, they went down to the right only to find a dead end, so they went back and went left where they found an unknown gem that Rarity was talking about. “Wow, never seen this one before.” said Spike as he grabbed it. It was red like ruby, but hot as coal, so he dropped it. “Ouch, that was hot.” “These are burst gems, when we ran out of dynamite, we found these as used them instead. They explode with heat, and can cause a chain reaction to others surrounding It.” he used his horn to illuminate the wall and saw it was covered by them. “Alright spike use your dragon flame. we can make a new path.” So Spike blew his flame on the gem and it started glowing, Flower bucked it away from them while they took cover and the explosion blew open a new hole to go through. “Nice job Spike. Now then onward.” As they continued down their path, they collect more diamonds, encountered some diamond dogs trying to ambush them, but with Flower’s and Spike’s quick thinking, they managed to scared them off, they soon made to an impasse as they found an empty chasm. “Great, now what do we do?” said Spike Flower Power looked around as saw some train tracks on their right. “The way we made it to other side was to ride the tracks.” he they pushed the mine cart on the tracks and flipped a switch to see if the track still worked and the cart would move. Luck was shining down on them as it worked. “Way to go Flowers.” said Spike as he looked for another cart for them to ride on, they both jump on it and started riding on it. The ride would soon be interrupted as they saw a diamond dog, riding on a track below with a cart full of burst gems. “Uh oh” said both. “So long and thanks for the gems.” said the diamond dog and he got a box of matches and started light and throwing the gems in front of their track. It was then when they took it seriously and started ducking and jumping from the explosions, and falling stalactites, also more dogs riding on the other tracks. Eventually both they and the cart of diamonds made it out in one piece. Soon they ventured forward more and found themselves running from a hoard of crystal bats, swimming through an underground river that formed over the years since the earthquake, until they made to an underground train station, guarded by diamond dogs. “O.k. we need to stay quiet and go around them.” whispered Flower Power Spike peeked over their hiding spots and spotted what they were looking for. “Flowers look.” said spike as they saw the diamond dogs that took Rarity with her on the train. “Looks like we’re almost to the boss little pony.” laughed the dog. “Boss will be very happy with us.” “O.k. Spike no need to act heroic, we must think of a plan.” Flower then turned to see spike gone and running with a handful of burst gems. “Oh great.” “Let Rarity go, or face my gems.” said Spike heroically. “Drat, I though you would be crushed by now, no matter.” The dog then threw rarity to the train and blew the whistle to start the engine. “So long dragon, and good riddance.” “No, no, no.” said spike as he tried to chase him, but was too slow. “Now what do we do?” Just as he had spoken, Flower power was on the track with the diamond cart in front and a manual power chart to push it. “Get on.” said Flowers as they both started to crank the carts to catch up to the train. They soon were right behind it. “O.k. spike connect the cart together with theirs.” said Flower as spike connected them. As they stepped on their carts, they started to shake, “Jump.” said Flower Power as a diamond dog tried to bite them and they stomped on their faces, eventually they conductor set his carts to fall off the rails and the chase was back on. This pattern continued for a while until the conductor had enough and tried to take them on personally, but his effort was proven to be useless because they beat him and took back rarity. They jumped of the train because they were reaching a dead end to a giant pit, when they jumped, their fall was softened by a pile of gems surrounding them. “You o.k. miss Rarity?” said Flower Power. “My heroes.” said Rarity and she wrapped both of them by her hooves. “Nah, spike’s the real hero, I didn’t wanted to come here for good reasons, but at least your safe now.” “Not to mention we just hit the jackpot, look at all these gems.” said Spike and he got one and ate it. “Enough for your order and me.” “You deserve it, my little hero Spikey-wikey.” said Rarity as she gave him a peck on the cheek and he fainted. Just then the ground started to shake because of a thundering boom. “WHO’S EATING MY GEMS?” “Looks like we’re not out of the woods yet.” said Flower Power as the remaining diamond dogs gathered around the pit chanting “show them your power boss.” Just then, claws were being risen from underground, a giant figure was shadowing over Flower Power and his friends, it would soon turn out to be a dragon that buried itself under the gems the diamond dogs have been collecting. “Oh this could be bad.” said Flower Power as the dragon took in his breath. When the dragon breathed out fire, with quick thinking, both Rarity and Flower Power used their magic to create a gem barrier to avoid getting burned. “There no way we can beat this thing.” said Flower Power Just then Rarity came up with an idea, it was reckless, but it’s their only chance of surviving. “O.K. boys, spike eat as much gems as you can, me and Flowers Will cover you.” Said Rarity The plan went by smoothly as Spike got full, then came the twist as Rarity let herself get captured by the dragon. “Spike you have to save me!” Just then, Spike emerged from the gems and told him one warning, “Let her go.” but the dragon would soon flick him out of his sight like a bug, suddenly the ground shook again as another pair of claws came out and grabbed Flower Power. “SPIKE WANT PONY!” said spike as he grew to an adult dragon, he then put Flower Power on his head to keep him save and he went toe-to-toe with the other dragon. Eventually Spike was victorious as the dragon dug a hole to flee from the fight and left Rarity behind. Spike grew tired and turned back into a baby dragon. A few minutes later, the dogs were all waiting in line to get their portion of gems from the pile the dragon kept. “Thank you kind ponies.” said the dogs as they all left with their gems and left one mine cart for them. “Well that was very generous of you Flower. Most ponies would’ve forced them to do awful things.” said Rarity “Hey, it wasn’t their fault and besides they found these gems, so it’s rightfully theirs.” said Flower Power as his flank glowed and another petal turned white with a diamond in the center. “Looks like you found generosity fellow.” said Rarity “But now we’re stuck here with no way out.” Spike soon woke up from his sleep. “Hey everypony, did we make it out yet?” “Not yet.” said Flower Power as he pointed at a cavern that was behind the pile of gems from before. “This way, I may have an idea.” As they walk further through the cavern, Rarity and spike noticed a few odd things. Think of your Destination, and transfer all your magic into me.” They did what they asked as after a few minutes, another portal opened up in front of them showing an entire city made of crystal. “Looks like this is our stop.” said Spike as he pushed the cart out of the portal. “Farewell mister Starswirl.” said Rarity as she left “Goodbye dad. Eventually they would be visited by another alicorn and a white stallion. “Rarity, Spike, are you two o.k.? we saw a portal and saw you two walk out of it.” asked the alicorn “We’re fine your highness and we have your supply of gems for the dresses I need to make.” said Rarity. “… oh and this is my alicorn friend, Flower Power. It soon became night, it was a full moon and everypony was asleep and the night guards were on patrol, Flower Power got up around the time before sunrise because he wanted to, being the good pony he is, to check on the gems and have them ready for Rarity. He looked around for a guard to guide him to where they kept the cart at. She then looked down and saw a familiar face to her “Spike the dog is that you?” said the principle as she went to pet him. “What are you doing here again?” “You see we got trapped here because we were trying to catch a gem that went to your world. Anyways Flower Power, this is Principle Celestia and her sister Vice Principle Luna. Principle this is my friend Flower Power” said Spike “Oh, sorry about that, it’s just that you look like the rulers of our world in human form, but still pleased to meet you both.” said Flower Power as they shook his hand “So tell us, do you know Twilight Sparkle?” said Celestia “And if so, how is she” asked Luna “She, fine and I’ll be sure to let her know that you two asked of her.” said Flower Power “Now then I must if you know how to get back to our world?” The principles took him out to front of the school to face the statue in front. “Well I would imagine this is where you came from.” said Celestia “But the portal only works during the night and on a full moon, which is bad because last night was the last full moon for now.” said Luna “Well how long ‘til the next full moon?” asked Flower Power They went back to the school into Luna’s office to look at the calendar. “Looks like the next one with be at least two months from now. Sorry for your luck you two” said Luna “Two months?!” said the both of them “Don’t worry, it’ll be fine, I’m sure spike’s friends will lend you two a helping hand around here, but you’ll have to wait for lunch period or after school to find them. You two can grab a meal from the Cafeteria if you’re hungry.” said Celestia. The two were outside the front entrance with lunch trays with them as they were eating. “Well looks like we’re going to have get comfortable with these bodies for now Spike.” said Flower Power with grief. “So your friends, what are they like?” “They’re our friends from Equestria except in human form and also without Twilight.” said Spike “So I’m sure you’ll get along with them greatly.” said Spike Flower Power and Spike got bored. Spike decided to take a nap until the after School bell rang and Flower Power looked around some more. He then took a closer look at the front entrance and saw that it looked incomplete. “That’s weird.” Flower then looked around and saw a cement mixer, bricks, and a blue print of the entrance pushed to the side. “Looks like the workers only come here after school.” he then picked up the blue print to look at and a brick “Might as well to past the time.” It was time for the bell to ring to dismiss class, students were leaving the school walking passed Flower Power in near completion of the front entrance. As he was about to put on the final brick, someone tapped him on the back. “Um excuse me but what are doing?” asked the person “Nothing, just finishing someone’s work.” said Flower Power “Well, it’s just that it was my job to finish it, but thanks. I usually don’t meet a lot of nice people.” said the person Just then spike was biting Flower power’s pants to warn him of something and pulled him to his level. “Watch out man, that’s Sunset Shimmer. She almost tried to cause a war and tried to imprison me and Twilight in this world forever.” “Her?” said Flower Power as he turned to look at her. “She may look like a bad girl but I don’t she could pull that off.” She overheard them talking about her. “That was the old. Before you and Twilight came along, but after being stuck with construction duty, it changed me; I just wish people could see that too.” said Sunset Shimmer. “Well I think you seem like a good person now. The name’s Flower Power and since you know spike, you must know where I come from too.” said Flowers “Equestria too? Yeah I know, I was banished from there, but I made a new life here.” said Sunset Shimmer Soon Flower Power and Sunset Shimmer got to know each other a little more and they made their way to a café where Sunset Shimmer got him a cup of coffee. “So what are you here for?” asked Sunset Shimmer. “We’re stuck here until that portal opens again and with no place to stay.” said Flower Power Just then, a girl walk to them to asked if they can see Spike, so they handle Spike to her. “Spikey-wikey is that you?” “Rarity!” said Spike as she nuzzled her. “Rarity!?” said Flower Power “Oh. So sorry, my name is Rarity, and where might I ask where did you find Spike?” said Rarity as she put him down. “Last time I remember, he went back to his world with Twilight.” “He’s with me, I’m a friend of twilight.” said Flower Power as Rarity called in her friends to see Spike again. Introductions were out of the way and Flower Power couldn’t believe he just met his human form of his friends. It soon became night after they were finished with their questions for him. “So do you a place to crash?” asked Rainbow Dash “Spike could stay with me if he wants to.” said Rarity “Yes!” said Spike. “I mean… sounds like fun.” “I could let you stay with me…” said Sunset Shimmer “That is if you want to.” “… I think I might take you up on that.” said Flower Power as he shook everyone’s hand goodbye. “Now remember Spike. I just kind of find it weird for two strangers of different genders to sleep in the same room.” said Flower Power. Sunset Shimmer agreed to his proposal. She soon went to sleep as Flower Power stayed up pondering on what going on back in Equestria, what will happen tomorrow, and other questions. The sun came and Flower Power and Sunset Shimmer both were changed into new clothes and walked to the school, Sunset Shimmer led both Flower Power and Spike to the library to pass the time there until lunch. Flower Power read books on how to operate a mysterious machine called the computer; eventually he figured out how to work it and started to browse the internet. “Haaaaannnnnnngh” said Spike “What’s wrong with you?” asked Flower Power “I torn apart by two loves.” said spike. “Flowers, which do you think likes me more, our Rarity, or this Rarity?” It was silence for a while as Flower Power thought about it. “Um………….. I think you’re better off with our Rarity?” Spike and Flowers soon got bored and decided to roam the school campus, the soon found themselves in a room with weights and sacks hangs from the ceiling. “This must be a gym room.” said Spike Flower was curious about all the training equipment so he decided to try it out for himself. He soon found himself to be sweaty from using the equipment as someone open the door. It was another teenage boy with blue hair carrying a guitar case on one hand. “What are you doing?” asked the boy. “I was just trying out this sack.” said Flower Power “… Do you think you can come with me?” said the boy Flower Power and Spike followed him to the next door where there was an empty arena surrounded by seats and other teenagers in the arena. “Hey guys I found someone who might be want to join.” said the boy. “By the way, my name is Brad.” he then looked down and saw Spike. “Spike! is that you?” “Hey Brad.” said Spike “How’s Twilight and do you know this guy?” said Brad “She’s fine and also this is Flower Power.” said Spike. Just then two other boys joined into the conversation. “So you’re the one who help us finish the front entrance.” said the boy. “I’m snips and this is Snails.” “Nice to meet you Flower Power.” said Snails as he shook his hand. “and this here is the Canterlot high boxing team.” Last to enter the conversation was the coach. “This is our coach, he graduated last year but volunteered to coach this year’s team.” “Nice to meet you sir and your name is?” asked Flower Power. “Big Macintosh.” said the coach. “So are you in the team too Brad?” asked Flower Power “Nah I’m just here because I have a free period.” said Brad “So you want to join? I saw you in that room. You were training so hard and yet you didn’t look tired. They could use a guy like you” said Brad After thinking it through Flower Power decided to join the team. “But, I’m only here for three months.” “That’s o.k.” said Snips “This season’s short because there are only a few other schools that have a boxing program.” said Snails Just then the doors opened and a fancy looking teenager came rushing in to talk to Big Macintosh “This is an outrage!” said the boy “How could you let this brute join the team, I have the power, finesse, and looks for the team and you chose him!?” “Who’s the spoiled brat?” said Spike as the others laughed at spike’s comment “You mutt, may call me Prince BlueBlood.” said the boy “Nephew of the school’s principle and I demand entry to your team.” “Sorry Prince, we can only have three and Snips and Snails asked first.” said Brad “And what of me? I can tell my aunt to cut all funds to this sport.” chuckled BlueBlood. “I think I have just as much as a chance as you sir.” said Flower Power “Hah. You a commoner?” said BlueBlood “And you the spoiled Brat.” said Flower Power “There’s only one way to settle this.” said Big Macintosh as he brought out two sets of boxing gloves. “Very well.” said BlueBlood “Two weeks from now, we shall box for the last entry. Any objections?” “None here. Challenge accepted. “ said Flower Power as he shook his hand, but BlueBlood just simply left him hanging Big Macintosh stopped Flower Power and offered him to train him in boxing. Flower Power agreed to start the next morning. They all left and afterschool, Flower Power to his plan to his new friends, who supported him on his choice. The next day came and Flower Power was wide awake when Big Mac came by their doorstep. Just as he was about to leave, Sunset Shimmer stopped Flower Power and gave him a pink sweater. “You might get cold in the morning.” said Sunset Shimmer “Thanks for looking for me, I‘ll see you afterschool.” said Flower Power as he left. Big mac took him to that world’s Sweet Apple Acres where he took him to the barn to show him the workout gear he had when he was a member. He then handed him so gloves as he put on some block pads to work on his punches. Flower power went through rigorous training with Big Mac. He did much weight lifting, speed punch bagging, endurance training, and morning run when chasing Big Mac across town on his bicycle. The day finally came. The gymnasium was filled with students wanting to see who would win the match. Flower Power even had a small cheer team from the mane five, Spike, the other members and Sunset Shimmer. On one corner was Flower Power with his coach and on the other BlueBlood with his. “O.k. Big Mac any last words?” said Flower Power “Nope.” said Big Mac as the bell rung to enter the middle of the ring “Good luck.” O.k. I was a clean fight.’ said the referee. “No low blows, no rabbit punches, and all my decisions are final.” said the Referee as he lifted his arm. “Ready…… Fight!” Round one begun and Flower Power had an advantage thanks to his training, BlueBlood did got some good punches on him but by the time round one was over, BlueBlood was more winded than Flower Power. “I can’t lose to this commoner.” said BlueBlood to himself. He then secretly put some rocks in his gloves to give his punches more impact force. Round two start and Flower Power was still good until BlueBlood got a hit on him. With the extra weight, Flower Power was starting to see blurry and could only defend from his punches. When the bell rung, Flower Power got to his corner to talk with his coach. “Big Mac, how did he get stronger after a few minutes?” said Flower Power Big mac looked to the other side to point out what BlueBlood was doing. “He’s cheating.” said Flower Power “We got to tell the ref.” “Nope.” said Big Mac “You win this match. Show him that hard training will always come out on top.” “You really believe in me?” said Flower Power. “Eeyup.” the bell rung for the finally round. Round three, BlueBlood was coming in strong, but with Big Mac’s words of inspiration Flower Power came back fighting. Flower Power started to make consecutive punches and eventually BlueBlood lost his steam. “This can’t be happening.” said BlueBlood Flower Power finished him off with a signature move he was working on. The Starswirl punch. He sky uppercutted BlueBlood and he tumbled backwards and fell off of the ring. T.K.O.!!! The crowd cheered for Flower Power as Big Mac lifted him up from his feet for his victory as Flower Power waved to the audience. “You did it.” said Big Mac “Welcome to the team.” End of Chapter 4
