Dawn Shine is a simple 17-year-old pegasus pony, with a not so simple 17-year-old problem... He doesn't have a cutie mark.

How, if he doesn't even have his cutie mark, does this pegasus manage to become the most famous adventurer in all of Equestria? How did he go from "Dawn Shine" to "Shining Armor"? HOW, you ask, does he earn his cutie mark? Well, read and find out...

This is a work-in-progress, so I am obviously not done. As well, it is my first attempt ever at writing. Please tell me what you think of it in the description, including any criticism, praise, corrections or suggestions. Also, tell me if you want me to write more!

This is the backstory for my own, personal OC. Not all future stories will be about him, but some will, so I felt that a story about his life would be appropriate.
