The 5 ponies entered the library in single file, bestowing a variety of clothing, cosmetics, consumables, and other necessities that would be needed for a short journey.
"Good morning girls!"
The rest put on a look of anxiousness, which Twilight was able to pick up.
"What's wrong?"
“It's just, ya sure this’ll work Twi? I know you have taken in yer fare share of studying and yer a princess, but I am still a little worried.” Applejack questioned.
“I have been practicing it for months, I have been able to send Spike and I both to Canterlot and back, I’m sure a quick trip to Manehatten won’t be too hard for me at all.”
The look of indecision glanced back and forth between the ponies eyes, and Twilight was easily able to notice it.
“Besides… The worst thing that could happen is easily reversible.”
Rainbow Dash squinted her eyes in suspicion.
“And what might that be?” She asked.
“Hey, who’s the one who’s sending you in the first place.”
“Ah think she still has th’ right ta say that sugarcube…” Retorted Applejack.
“Ok, Ok… It may send you into a completely different universe, and this chance increases depending on how many life forms are on board.”
“And you couldn’t have told us this before!?” Rainbow screeched.
“Darling, Twilight is more than capable of handling us, I’m sure she has everything under control.” Said Rarity.
Twilight put on a grin of nervousness as she looked back at the entire group.
“So um… what’s it like, you know… being teleported…” Asked Flutteshy.
Twilight beamed a smile of content, glad to answer any question not involving the safety of the spell.
“Well! It’s like…”
“No! No! No! No! No! Don’t spoil it! Uuuuh, is it like a mealworm!? Or…. Oh a banana! A lemon tree?” Blurted Pinkie Pie.
“Uh… A what?”
"Nevermind... but all of you should be completely safe, as long as no interruptions that mess with my concentration."
Twilight could see that they were very unsure, but that is likely due to them not understanding how her magic works in the first place. Twilight sucked in a large breath of air and managed to wheeze.
"Just stay completely still and everything should go as planned."
The other 5 except for Pinkie Pie who lept at the opportunity huddled together as Twilight began to channel her magical spell which enveloped them all in a purple haze.
Soon her horn began to brighten as magical sparks flung out the tip. Twilight restrained her body in order to pressure the force that began pushing her backwards, letting loose a wide lavender beam against the rest of the ponies.
After several seconds the peak of teleportation breached as the entire lit up, drawing attention from nearby residents.
"Twilight!"
"AAGH!" Twilight shrieked as she flew backwards into wall, shaking the entire library as a singed mark scorned the location where her magic was channelled, and the other five were nowhere to be found.
