A soft flick could be heard as Pinkie turned off the lights to her room. “Nighty night, Mister and Miss Cake!” Pinkie yelled, making a cone shape around her mouth so the pleasant goodnight could be carried off to the Cakes’ bedroom. “Goodnight Pinkie!” Mister and Miss Cake yelled in unison, sleepy and unenthusiastically. Pinkie smiled to herself as she bounced back to her bed, her mane bobbing up and down enthusiastically with her movements. She squat down to the cold hardwood floors and sprang into the air, landing with a loud creak on her bed, flipping her candy decorated bedsheets over herself as she snuggled in for the night. The warmth engulfed her and she soon fell into a deep sleep.
She awoke in a dark room, there was only one soft light, flickering and threatening to go out at any given moment. “Uh, hello?” Pinkie asked, lowering her head in fear as she slowly walked around the room. “I-Is anypony there?” She asked, raising her head and examining the room for any sign of movement. “Hello Pinkie Pie.” A dark and thunderous voice called out, echoing off the walls. It scared Pinkie and she let out a startled cry, curling up into a ball and trembling. “Who are you?” She asked timidly. “I am no stranger, Pinkie pie. You should know me, do you not remember me?” the voice asked again, still with a loud and thunderous sound. “I-I’m sorry, I-I don’t think I know you...”
Suddenly, the small light flicked and boomed with a great force, engulfing the room in pink clouds of all different shades. Pinkie shielded herself from the sudden blinding light, holding a hoof across her face. When she finally opened them she couldn’t believe her eyes. The room was decorated in a thick coat of frosting, covering the walls, floor and ceiling. It took Pinkie about half a second to decide what to do. “FROSTING!” She yelled joyfully, plunging herself into the pink wonderland. She licked all around, swallowing the frosting fast and slurping everywhere. She was overwhelmed with a sense of ectasy, eating the sugary field like there was no tomorrow. “Oh god yes, mmm frosting, soft creamy fro-“
A loud knock on Pinkie pie’s door awoke Pinkie from her joyful dream.
“Pinkie, it’s time for work! This cupcake delivery has to be shipped by 9am!” Miss Cake yelled through the wooden door. Pinkie was confused until she had a pungent and nasty taste fill her mouth. “Yuck!” she yelled as she spat out her pillow, staring at it like it had been her dreamland of frosting. She lustfully licked it again, hoping it would be the frosting wonderland she had tasted in her dream but it was still the gross taste of old cotton.
“Coming...” She said softly, climbing out of bed.
Hopefully tomorrow she would experience the joyful dream again but for now, she had work to do.
As she was getting ready she took a peek out of her window and screamed.
There on her roof was a slick black vine with blue thorns dotted on it.
“Oh my Celestia...”
