Prince Otto von Heln, ruler of the tiny nation of Collodia in 17th century Europe, leads all six thousand of his people out of their threatened nation, planning to sail them all to the recently discovered New World. What he does not realize is that this new world will be even "newer" than he realizes. When he comes upon an entire civilization of talking, magical ponies and other, even more fantastic creatures, can he keep his people intact in this new world? Will they become apart of it in peace? Or rule it through force?
