Soaring Flames against Soaring Rainbows

It was a beautiful night, Soarin and Spitfire were busy chatting as they always did like everyday. Since Spitfire had been friends with him for so long, she couldn't stop staring at Soarin's face. She loved his goofy personality,his love for flying, and his smiles; which were also goofy. No matter what, Spitfire still liked him, no wait, she loved him.
"Hey Spit ,get you head out of the clouds", Soarin said waving a hoof at her face.
"Oh sorry Soarin, it's just that I've always liked you since we were foals", Spit said blushing. " So will go out with me".
"Maybe, I don't know. I'll think about it", Soarin said to her.He then walks off back to his bedroom.
In his bedroom, he was thinking about what Spitfire had said to him that evening. But it turns out that he fell in love with somepony else. He couldn't stop thinking about that that mare with dashing rainbow mane. Rainbow Dash was different from every other mare she had been with. She was someone who you could stand to be around. it turned out they both had a lot in common. That was why he loved her so much. It was time he told Spitfire the truth.
He then walked down the hallway, and made it to Spitfire's room. Then he knocked on the door afterwards. "Spitfire, can you please open up. I need to tell you something".
"Hi Soarin, come in. So what did you want to tell me?"
"Listen Spit, I like you too, but in a different way. I love you like a sister, rather then a girlfriend. You remind me of a sister that I never had before. It turns out that I'm in love with somepony else. I'm in love with Rainbow Dash. I can't go out with you because you're my captain. Dating you would be really awkward".
"But why, Soarin why?!" she said bursting into tears.
"Because I can't. That's the only reason why".
Soarin walked off ignoring Spitfire sheding every tear from her eye. She was so upset that she threw all her things on the floor. Soarin heard from the hall that she threw all her stuff on the floor because she was upset that he didn't say yes. He was right,if she dated him. It would be a really awkward relationship. Soon Spitfire decided she wanted revenge on Rainbow Dash, the mare Soarin was in love with. She just laid in bed without saying a word. While Soarin had Rainbow on his mind while eating dinner. Then falling asleep afterwards.

In Ponyville, the mane 6 were busy having dinner together. They were all busy chatting about Heart's and Hooves Day that was coming up fairly soon. Since heart's and hooves day was about a week away. Pinkie Pie got a chance to host the party when the time would come to host it herself.
"Girls, found any special somepony yet. Heart's and hooves day is a week away", Pinkie replied.
"No Pinkie, not yet", said a young alicorn.
"Not really interested, Pinkie", Rainbow said turning her head away. "I don't even have enough time to find a stallion to be with.
"I agree with Rainbow here, I never really thought about romance and stallions. Stallions in Ponyville asked me out many times, but I kept saying no because I've been busy around the orchard", Applejack said.
"If you've been busy AJ, then how come I saw a stallion walking right by Sweet Apple Acres all the time. He had a caramel-colored brown coat, and brown mane and tail".
"Wait Pinkie, I reck'in you're talking about Caramel".
"Who's Caramel?"
"A colt that I met, back in Manehattan, as a filly".
"OOh, Applejack found a coltfriend".
"No I didn't".
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" Soon the girls stopped laughing afterwards.
"Sorry about that AJ, it's just that you are the first mare to already find a colt that you really like", Rarity said putting a white hoof on her friend's shoulder.
"Twi, have you ever had a special somepony before".
"Yes, I've had a special somepony before. He was the colt that I knew back in Canterlot. His name was Comet Tail, we had a lot in common. And we even had our first kiss as a filly and colt".
"Wow sugarcube, I'm so happy for you".
"Thanks Applejack".
"Okay enough about me. What about Pinkie? Have you dated before?''
"Yes I have, but it turns out the colt that I was dating got scared by my dad, and then he ran off back home".
"But who was next special somepony?"
"He wasn't techinally my special somepony. But he had a blue coat, a horn, and a safety pin for a cutie mark".
"Who was this stallion anyway?"
"POKEY PIERCE!!!"
"I've known him since I was a filly".
"Wait, you to attended Ponyville elementary school with him".
"Yes, first we were enemies, but now we became friends".
"Tell us about him".
"Pokey is a party lover, just like I am. We both love popping balloons for fun, and that's all I know about him. He's like a stallion that I can stand to be around".
"He's perfect for you, Pinkie".
"Now how about Rainbow here?"
"Uh,no pony in mind".
"Rainbow, are you trying to hide something from your friends?"
"Well no".
"Come on Rainbow, spill the beans".
"Alright, I think I li.....ke Soarin. You know the wonderbolt, back at the grand galloping gala".
"Yeah I remember him".
"Wait a second, you said you like Soarin? You found the perfect coltfriend Rainbow", said Fluttershy.
"Yeah I do, I had this weird feeling about him back at the grand galloping gala".
"We think you have feelings for him".
"Alright, I do feelings for him".
"How about Fluttershy? She'd probably end up with Thunderlane".
"Yeah, she might".
Suddenly, the clock struck 8:50, saying that it was time for bed. "Good night girls, thanks for coming to the castle to visit", said their alicorn friend.
"We love you Twilight, good night", they said as they waved goodbye.
