It had been a rather rough morning at the Base of Operations of Project Pioneer.

Get Up, wash yourself and get ready for work. For some strange reason, the company only allowed the consumption of food after work hours, which always made the workers grumpy. Nevertheless, the hard labor always got done one way or another.

Rick Henderson at the time had been at a briefing for all the time jumpers to get ready to go to a planet that Scientists had recently discovered in the future, named Equus. At the head of the table, stood the head scientist of the Project Pioneer team.

Slowly one by one, people got to their seats.

''Okay Ladies and Germs, it's time for all of us to know that the other Lab Boys have just discovered another planet for us to Harvest, and the rocks name is Equus.'' ''Now I want you people to know that this expedition could be dangerous, since this planet has been found in an uncharted sector of space.'' ''But we all know that we're the damned best of the best!''

''So who's ready to gettiton?'' Yelled the Scientist.

In unison the time jumpers screamed ''THE BEST OF THE BEST!''

The time jumpers then walked out the large titanium doors of the meeting hall and got ready to be dropped into the space warp among the tranquility of Cryo sleep.

Before locking himself into his pod, Rick Henderson took a small picture out of his pocket and stared at it for a few moments.

It was a picture of a real living tree. Such things were so rare in the time of 3017. Before each drop, Henderson used to give himself the feeling he was securing the fate of life into good hands by looking at it. Protecting the precious.

He then locked himself in his pod, and pressed the lock, both putting himself in cryo sleep and warping himself at Equus at an alarming speed.

If you were a true Space Jumper, you could know that even in the tranquility of cryosleep, everything and I mean everything around you can be a real gate to Hell, Otherwise known as the spot of the universe Satan is burning for insurance money.

It might feel relaxing and cool in that pod that you lie in, but who knows what could be crawling in?

Rick henderson and his teammates were soon very close to this planet of Equus, until a small explosion shook the stars.

2 of the pods had slammed into a nearby asteroid, destroying the people contained within.

Strangely, the others around Rick began to be killed as well, placing themselves in Satan's insurance fiasco.

RIck's pod began to burn upon going through this alien atmosphere, soon to crash-land, so he could continue with his job.

The capsule soon began to curve through the air of the planet as if it were nothing, and was very clearly nearing a large mountain, in fact, it was getting so clo--

FABWAAAAAAAAAAAMN!

You could say it was just an inch away.

Or a centimeter.

Or whatever.

Right there from the surface the Equine inhabitants of the planet saw the strange machine enter their fair skies, and set it  ablaze with it's screaming flight towards the great Equestrian capital of Canterlot, and slam into it's beautiful peak that the city had been built upon.

A Small squad of royal soldiers had been sent to guard the area to make sure no citizens would mess with the object, except for the large mobs of press that they could not hold back. A vicious gas erupted from the crash site, And some sort of

Giant creature had been seen running through the smoke frantically. When it finally bursted from the cloud of toxins, it immediately had several hard glares and even more deadly blades affixed to it's neck.

It then was stabbed to what was thought as death.
