There was a time when we looked to the stars with fascination and horror.
We would wonder if we are alone, and if we would ever meet another world’s inhabitants.
In the infinite world of wonder seen above us in the night sky we found something to fear. The thing that throughout human history has evolved almost beyond recognition, War.
Earth has natural resources, a nice climate, a sizeable population, beautiful people, and Maple Syrup, making us prime for colonization and enslavement.
To respond to this highly unlikely threat the Canadian Government created the Canadian First Contact Extraterrestrial Combat Emergency Response Expeditionary Logistical Service Force Regiment of Canada (C.F.C.E.C.E.R.E.L.S.F.R.C.) (really just to burn excess funds)
We thought that Aliens would invade our nation, abduct our livestock, burn our cities, poison our water and probe our children!
It turns out the aliens did that to themselves, so now we’re invading them.
