Twilight left the hospital after visiting Rainbow Dash and Razor Wind. Tomorrow was her birthday, and in Equestria it is a big deal to celebrate a royal's birthday. The next day, Twilight was extremely nervous. It was her first birthday as a princess. She was putting on her dress until she heard a knock on the door. She opened it and started blushing. It was her coltfriend "Flash Sentry" (They started going out after the whole Equestria Girls thing).

"There ready for you, honey", said Flash nuzzling her

"Thanks Flash", said Twilight

"Hey, what's wrong?", asked Flash

"Well, it's my first birthday as a princess, and it's kinda new for me", explained Twilight

"Hey, it'll be great. Besides your friends are still gonna be there", said Flash

"True", said Twilight

They kissed then they went outside to the balcony in Canterlot. Outside was a bunch of cheering ponies. And next to Twilight was Princess Celestia, Luna, Cadence, Flash, the mane five, Spike, and her brother Prince Shining Armor.

"Citizens of Equestria, today is a special day for all of us. It is Princess Twilight Sparkle's birthday", announced Princess Celestia

The ponies started to cheer.

"Indeed, so ponies LET US REJOICED", announced Princess Luna

They kept cheering until a green blast was hurdling towards her. Twilight quickly dodged it and saw a bunch of changelings and their queen "Queen Chrysalis".

"Twilight Sparkle we meet again", said Chrysalis

"Chrysalis, what do you want?", asked Twilight

"I want my revenge on you, after you defeated me last time", explained Chrysalis

"Well were gonna stop you", said Rainbow Dash

"And how are you gonna stop me? Are you gonna use those precious Elements of Harmony?", asked Chrysalis sarcastically

"Uh, we don't have the Elements anymore", said Applejack

"Interesting", said Chrysalis with an evil smirk

Suddenly, she started firing again. and everypony was trying to defend themselves. Then Twilight flew up and started blasting magic at Chrysalis.

"Flash, protect Twilight. We'll take care of the changelings", said Cadence

"On it", said Flash flying up to Twilight

While Twilight was trying to defeat Chrysalis, her friends were trying to fight sone changlings, Applejack was using her lasso to capture them. Pinkie was blasting them with her party cannon. Rarity was using her magic to make a blinding light then punching them when they are blind. Fluttershy kept punching them (Suprise, right?). And Dash was dashing into them. Then Celestia came in between Twilight and Chrysalis.

"ENOUGH, It's bad enough you terroize my neice's wedding, but I will not have you kill my other neice!", said Celestia

"Bring it, old lady", remarked Chrysalis

Celestia tried to use her magic but was blocked by Chrysalis. Then she fainted and started falling.

"PRINCESS CELESTIA", called Twilight

When Twilight wasn't looking, Chrysalis blasted a green projectile at Twilight.

"TWILIGHT, NO", yelled Flash flying in front of Twilight

Flash took the blast, and started falling.

"FLASH", cried Twilight flying down to save him

Twilight caught him, and Chrysalis started laughing evily.

"Pathetic", said Chrysalis with an evil smirk

Suddenly, Luna flew up with anger on her mind.

"Stop this right now, Chrysalis", said Luna

"Well well well, if it isn't Celestia's younger weeker sister. What are you gonna do? Banish me to the moon?", asked Chrysalis

"No, that's a cruel and unusual punishment. Im banishing you to the sun", said Luna holding Chrysalis with her magic

"You can't banish me to the sun. Your the princess of the night.", said Chrysalis

"When I was banished, Celestia performed my night duties. And after I returned, She taught me day magic incase something tragic happened to her", explained Luna using her magic to send Chrysalis to the sun "Now say your goodbyes"

"No no NO", cried Chrysalis being vaporized

Suddenly, Chrysalis was gone and the sun started shining brighter. On the ground, Twilight was crying over Flash, who was knocked unconscious.

"Flash, please don't die. I love you", cried Twilight

"It's ok Twilight, we'll help him", said Celestia

At the hospital, Twilight was crying and her friends were comforting her. Then the doctor came out.

"Doctor, is Flash ok?", asked Twilight

"Well your majesty, Flash is gonna be fine. But he's gonna have to take it easy. You can see him if you want", explained the doctor

Twilight walked in the other room, and found Flash sleeping in his bed.

"Flash", said Twilight

"Tw-Twilight", said Flash waking up

They kissed and embraced each other.

"Im so happy your ok", said Twilight

"Same with you. I wanted to give you a present, but it got destroyed by Chrysalis. Im sorry", said Flash apoligizing

"It's fine. You being alive is the only present I need", said Twilight kissing him "And don't worry, Im gonna make you feel better"

"How?", asked Flash

"Oh, you'll see", said Twilight climbing on his bed

Twilight's birthday was about to get better.

Next chapter: Ch.27 "A Wedding That's as Bright as a Rainbow". And Twilight is technically Celestia's neice since Cadence is also Celestia's neice and you know where Im going with this.
