Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash: Sisters Forever

Rainbow Dash dropped Scootaloo off at the schoolhouse.

"See ya at 3:00, Squirt", Rainbow said before dashing off out of sight. Scootaloo walked toward the entrance. Before she reached it, she was greeted by her fellow Crusaders.

"Hi, Scootaloo", Applebloom said.

"Hey, Scootaloo", Sweetie Belle said.

"Hey. What's up?", Scootaloo said.

"Applejack told me that yer mother was abusin ya, and was thrown in tha dungeon", Applebloom said.

"Yeah", Sweetie said, "Rarity said the same thing"

"It's true. Rainbow Dash is my sister now", Scootaloo said, "We'll finish this conversation later. Let's go in before Ms. Cherilee counts us tardy". The other two fillies nodded and the Crusaders went in to the school. They sat in their group. Two weeks ago, Cherilee allowed the students to sit in groups or pairs, so the Crusaders, along with Silver Spoon, all sit together. Snips and Snails sit together, Pipsqueak and Featherweight sit together, Twist and Teacher's Pet sit together, and Diamond Tiara sits alone.

Silver Spoon had just arrived and sat with the Crusaders.

"Hey, Crusaders!", she said.

"Hey, Silver Spoon", Scootaloo said, "What's up?"

"Nothing, Scootaloo. The usual."

"How does it feel that yer not with that brat Diamond Tiara anymore?", Applebloom said.

"You don't know how much weight has been lifted off of my shoulders, Applebloom. It feels good. I don't even know why I bullied you."

"I'm just glad we're friends now.", Sweetie Belle said.

"So am I, Sweetie Belle", Silver Spoon said, "So, how is the crusading going?"

"Ah just don't know what we would be good at.", Applebloom said.

"We've tried so many times.", Sweetie Belle said.

"True", Scootaloo said, "And the only things we've gotten are tree sap, pine needles, or mud on ourselves."

"Don't worry, Scoots", Silver Spoon said, "You still have a lot of time. The possibilities are like, endless!"

"Yeah", Scootaloo said. The four fillies all hoof-bumped.

Meanwhile...

Diamond Tiara sat in the back of the room, twirling her pencil around her desk with her hoof. She stared in disgust at the four fillies at the front, having a happy conversation. She felt "robbed" of her "friend". Silver Spoon used to sit with her and they would whisper to each other or pass notes to each other about their classmates, mostly the Crusaders. But that changed when she wrote a note about Silver Spoon and accidentally left it on her desk. Silver Spoon read it while Diamond Tiara was in the bathroom. When she returned, Silver Spoon yelled at Diamond Tiara and ended their friendship. What really ticked her off was when Silver Spoon apologized to the Crusaders and started a new friendship with them.

Diamond Tiara watched in disgust as the Crusaders and Silver Spoon talked happily among themselves. However, they stopped talking when Cherilee walked through the door.

"Alright, my little ponies", Cherilee said, "Quiet down". All of her students stopped talking. "Good. Now, I will return your tests from last week to you". Cherilee grabbed the graded papers and started to pass them out. She gave the Crusaders their papers. Applebloom, Sweetie Belle and Silver Spoon all got happy to see they got an A+ on their tests. However, Scootaloo wasn't so happy. She had gotten a D+ on her test. Silver Spoon looked at Scootaloo with concern.

"You OK, Scoots?"

"No, I failed another test. Multiplication and Division are my worst areas!"

"Scoots, I could help you if you would like. I'm awesome at those."

"Really?"

"Yeah. I don't mind."

"Cool. Thanks, Silver Spoon."

"You're welcome, Scoots".

Diamond Tiara almost fainted at what she just heard. Silver Spoon ALWAYS helped Diamond Tiara with her assignments. No. Actually, she always did them for her. Diamond Tiara did nothing in return. And when she gets her paper back, she shows it to her father, Filthy Rich, and acts like she did it all by herself. This was a major clue for Silver Spoon to figure out the "sidekick" thing.

"OK", Cherilee said, "Today we will be doing more Multiplication and Division. We will be taking notes and discussing. OK, please turn to page 413 in your textbooks."

"Scootaloo", Silver Spoon whispered to Scootaloo.

"Yeah?"

"I forgot my textbook. Do you mind sharing with me?"

"Not at all" Silver Spoon smiled and the two shared Scootaloo's textbook.

"Now", Cherilee said, "Please take out your notebooks and copy they grey box"

"Umm... Silver Spoon", Scootaloo whispered to Silver Spoon.

"Yes?"

"I don't have a pencil. May I borrow one?"

"Sure" Silver Spoon pulled a spare pencil out of her mane and hoofed it to Scootaloo.

"Thanks"

"No problem" The two started to take the notes.

Three hours later...

"Alright, Every pony", Cherilee said with a smile, "Lunch time. Please return in thirty minutes. You are dismissed." The class darted out of the room and went to the playground to have their lunch. The Crusaders and Silver Spoon sat at a bench, while Diamond Tiara sat alone at the swing-set, about ten hooves from the fillies. The fillies all opened their lunch boxes and started eating and talking.

"So, Scootaloo", Silver Spoon said, eating a daffodil-and-dandelion-sandwich, "I hear that Rainbow Dash is your sister."

"Yep", Scootaloo said, eating a hay-and-daisy-sandwich, "and it is awesome".

"Hey, Scootaloo", Applebloom said, eating an apple fritter, "What happened while you were in court?"

"Oh, well, my mom, Light Cloud was thrown in the dungeon. She actually begged me to reverse the the decision, but I said no."

"That's why you were acting so weird", Sweetie Belle said, eating a sunflower-and-oat-salad.

"Yeah. I was too scared to tell any pony"

"Scoots", Applebloom said, "You can tell us anything. Were yer friends."

"Yeah", Sweetie said, "and we always will be".

"Thanks." The four ponies all group hugged.

Diamond Tiara almost choked on her rice cake after seeing the Crusaders hug her friend. She couldn't stand this friendship. It made her angrier and angrier.

3:00 PM

The school bell rang and the class left. Scootaloo waited for Rainbow Dash, while Applebloom and Sweetie Belle started to walk home. Silver Spoon said goodbye to Scootaloo and started to walk home. Scootaloo looked up and saw Rainbow Dash approaching.

"Hey, Scoots", she said.

"Hey, Rainbow Dash", Scootaloo said.

"Ready to go home?"

"Yes."

Scootaloo hopped on Rainbow's back and they both went back home...
