Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash: Sisters Forever

The next day started off pretty well. The princesses and guests all had fun together. They all had a good breakfast together, sat on the balcony and enjoyed the beautiful Canterlot view together, and played Luna's PS4 (Ponystation 4) together. But after a few hours, Cadence had to return to the Crystal Empire. Today was her honeymoon.

After she left, it was time for dinner. It wasn't as fancy as it was the night before. It was daffodil-and-daisy sandwiches with hay fries and soda. Everypony was very chatty while they ate.

"So, Scootaloo", Celestia said, "I take it you like it in the castle"

"Yeah", Scootaloo said, "Too bad we have to leave today"

"Well", Luna said, "Would you like to stay for another night?"

"Yeah!! Rainbow Dash?"

"Sure, Scoots", Rainbow Dash said, "I kinda enjoy staying here, too"

"Great!", Luna said, "So it looks like 'Operation Fun Day' will commence today".

"Operation Fun Day?", Scootaloo said. Both Celestia and Luna smiled.

"Well", Celestia said, "Luna and I figured you two would want to stay again, so we have arranged two surprise activities that we're sure you would love". Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo nearly fainted.

"Whoa! Really?!", they both said.

"Would I tell a lie?", Celestia said. Luna chuckled.

"Well, you-"

"Be quiet, Luna!"

"OK, OK!" Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash both laughed.

"Anyway", Celestia said, "Yes. Really".

"Cool!", Rainbow Dash said, "So what are the activities?"

"Cannot tell you", Luna said, "They are surprise events. They must be unknown to you and your sister until you see them"

"Yes, Princess", Rainbow Dash said.

"So", Scootaloo said with enthusiasm, "When are we going to start the activities?"

"After dinner, Scootaloo", Celestia said.

30 minutes later...

Celestia, Luna, Rainbow Dash, and Scootaloo finished their dinner and got ready for the events.

"So", Celestia said, "since Scootaloo can fly, we'll be flying to each activity. Just follow me and Luna". Celestia opened the window and they all flew off.

As they flew, Scootaloo looked down, enjoying the wonderful view of Canterlot. She felt so alive as the cool breeze of wind blew through her mane.

"Descend now", Luna said. They flew down to ground level and approached a building.

"This is the first activity", Celestia said. Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash looked up and saw the name of the building.

Canterlot Indoor Pool "Swimming?", Rainbow Dash said.

"Yep", Luna said, "Celestia and I come here all the time". Scootaloo noticed a closed sign in the window.

"But it's closed", Scootaloo said.

"Not if you have the key", Celestia said. She reached into her mane and pulled out a half-eaten cookie.

"The key is a cookie?", Scootaloo said. Celestia looked at the cookie and chuckled nervously.

"Oops!" The others chuckled. "I was wondering where that cookie went" She reached into her mane again and pulled out the key. While Celestia unlocked the door, Scootaloo whispered to Luna, "Does she always hide food in her mane?"

"Not always, but most of the time, yes. Once, when we were just fillies, she actually hid a whole bag of potato crisps in her mane".

"Wow". The lock clicked and Celestia pushed the door open.

"OK, let's go" The ponies walked into the building. Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo followed the two alicorn sisters. While they walked,  Scootaloo noticed rule posters hanging up everywhere.

"This place sure has a lot of rules"

"It's Canterlot, Scoots", Rainbow Dash said, "Almost everything here has at least twenty rules. Don't even get me started on that restaurant I went to here".

"We're here", Luna said. Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo looked at the pool. One look almost made the two faint.

It was a swimmer's paradise. The pool was extremely big and clean. Now they see why the alicorn sisters like going there so much.

"What do you think?", Celestia said.

."So... cool...", Scootaloo said.

"Yeahhhhhh...", Rainbow Dash said. Celestia and Luna chuckled lightly.

"What are you waiting for?", Luna said, "You may get in". The alicorn sisters slowly climbed into the pool and sighed in relief.

"Hey, Rainbow Dash", Scootaloo said, "Maybe we should go take a closer look".

"OK" Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo appoached the pool. The next thing Rainbow Dash knew, she was shoved into the pool by Scootaloo. Scootaloo and the alicorns busted out laughing. Rainbow Dash looked up at Scootaloo with an evil grin.

"Prankster, huh? You'll pay for that".

"Whatever, Rainbow Dash" Scootaloo jumped into the pool yelling, "CANNONBALL!!!!"

They swam for about 2 hours.

"OK, I think we better get out", Celestia said, "Don't want it to get too late for our other activity". Rainbow Dash swam up to the alicorns.

"Before we go", she whispered, "I need to get Scootaloo back. Watch this". She then swam over to Scootaloo. "Hey Scoots, I need to ask you something".

"What's up?"

"Does the water suddenly feel warmer to you?" Both Celestia and Luna got out of the pool, trying very hard not to laugh.

"A little, but why?"

"Look at the water". Scootaloo looked at the water. It had a small yellow fade. Scootaloo immediately realized what was happening.

"EW!!!!!! UNCLEAN WATER!!!!!!!" She immediately swam to the wall and climbed out. The others laughed loudly.

"Now, we're even, Scoots", Rainbow Dash said, climbing out of the pool.

"By the way", Luna said, "The pool automatically cleans itself".

"Oh, right", Scootaloo said.

"OK", Celestia said, "I think we've had enough pranks for one day. Let's go". The ponies all left the pool. Celestia locked the door to the biulding. "OK, now for the other activity. Follow us"

Five minutes later...

"Descend now", Luna said. They all flew to ground level. This time, they were in front of an ice cream parlor. They all walked into the parlor.

"Are we here for what I think we're here for?", Scootaloo said.

"Yep", Celestia said. The cashier, Fuzzy Navel, walked up to the desk.

"Hello, Princess Celestia", she said, "How may I help you, today?" Celestia looked back at the others.

"Any requests?"

"Chocolate, please", Scootaloo said.

"Vanilla for me", Rainbow Dash said.

"Cookie dough, please", Luna said.

"And mint chocolate chip for me", Celestia said to Fuzzy.

"Right away, princess", Fuzzy said, "Be ready in a few minutes".

"Thanks, Princess", Scootaloo said.

"No problem, Scootaloo"

"Order up", Fuzzy said. The ponies got their ice cream cones and sat down at a table. While eating, the were really chatty with each other.

"So", Luna said, "I take it that you two liked the swimming?"

"Yeah", Scootaloo said, "Until Rainbow Dash peed on me"

"I didn't pee on you, Scoots", Rainbow Dash said, "I did it in the water around you. Big dif"

"Yeah, yeah"

"I've really enjoyed your company", Celestia said.

"So have I", Luna said.

"Glad to be at your service", Rainbow Dash said.

"I wish we lived at the castle", Scootaloo said.

"Well, Scootaloo", Celestia said, "You can visit anytime you like, as long as you have the approval of your sister",

"Really? But I won't be able to get past your security".

"I'll notify the guards and the night guards. You'll be OK"

"Wow! Thanks, Princess!"

"No problem, Scoots". They all continued to eat their ice cream.

Three hours later...

They all had gotten back to the castle. Luna had to go to Night Court, Celestia was in her bedchamber getting some paperwork done, and Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash were up in Twilight's old bedchamber, getting ready for bed. However, Scootaloo wanted something else.

"Hey, Rainbow Dash"

"Yeah, Squirt?"

"Do you mind if I sleep with Princess Celestia?"

"Not at all. If she lets you. Night, Scoots"

"Night, Rainbow Dash". She turned off the light and closed the door. She then walked down the hall to Celestia's bedchamber. Taking a deep breath, she knocked on Celestia's door.

"Enter", Celestia said. Scootaloo opened the door, seeing Celestia laying on her special rug, doing the last of her paperwork, with a bowl of chocolate chip cookies next to her. "Yes?"

"Umm... Can I sleep with you, please?" Celestia smiled.

"Sure you can. There's plenty of room". Scootaloo smiled, walked over to Celestia, and laid down on her rug "Help yourself to some cookies if you like" Scootaloo grabbed a few with her hoof and ate them, burping loudly.

"Excuse me. Thanks, Princess".

"No problem, Scootaloo". She finished her paperwork and turned off the lamp she was using. She draped one of her huge wings over Scootaloo and laid down. Scootaloo snuggled into Celestia's coat. She felt so warm, safe, and comfortable. However, she didn't think she could sleep.

"Umm... Princess?"

"Yes, Scootaloo?"

"Can you... sing to me? My mom never sung to me".

"You mean you want me to sing you lullaby?"

"Y-yes, Princess". Celestia smiled and began singing "Hush Now, Quiet Now". Her voice was so soothing to Scootaloo. Scootaloo yawned and buried her face in Celestia's coat.

"I love you, Mommy", she said, falling asleep. Celestia was surprised by this. She was just called "Mommy". She liked it. She cuddled Scootaloo.

"I love you too, Sweetie", she said. She licked Scootaloo's cheek. After finishing the rest of the cookies, she fell asleep with a smile on her face.
