Chapter 2: Unforeseen Anomalies Part II

I stumble out of the Restroom not wanting to believe that not only am I a pony, but a pony PRINCESS.

“No, no, no!” I stomp a hoof on the wooden floorboards in anger. “How can this be? I-“

Fluttershy flies through the front door, followed by 5 other ponies. I quickly hid out of sight, but I listened in on what they were saying.

“I was out gardening, when out of nowhere an orange alicorn comes flying out of nowhere and digs a trench through my flowers.”

“woah woah woah… an orange ALICORN?”

“Yes, she was upstairs in the bathroom.” I limp back into the bathroom and close the door. I put my ear to the door and sure enough I hear hoofsteps approaching the door.

“Hello?” I hear the sound of a hoof tapping against the door. Causing me to back away from the door, my hoofs making a muffled *Clip clop* as I back away.

“Yep somepony is definitely in there. Come out Miss alicorn!”

I find the courage to speak. “Okay” I slowly open the door, revealing my horn to the 6 ponies on the other side of the door. I move back from the door as a blue Pegasus cautiously pushes it the rest of the way open. They gasp when they see my wings and my horn.

“Wow! An Alicorn!” They chorus. The purple unicorn levitates out a piece of paper along with a quill and starts writing on it.

“Mah name is AppleJack” An Orange earth pony says, stepping forward.

“My name is Rainbow Dash! The best flier in Equestria!” The Blue Pegasus says.

“Pinkie Pie! Im so uber excited! You’re a Princess!” a hyper-active pink earth pony states.

“I’m Rarity, my dear.” A White unicorn states.

“I am Twilight Sparkle.” She took a moment from writing the oh-so-important note of hers to say her name.

“Well… you already know my name, but it’s Fluttershy.” The yellow mare states.

They all turn their head towards me, waiting for me to say my name.

“Uh… my name is,” I swallow, getting the feeling that I am going to regret what I say next. “My name is Princess Reise.” I look at Fluttershy. “There was another pony with me, where is he?”

Twilight’s eyes widen. “Is there another alicorn?” She looks at Fluttershy expectantly.

“No Twilight, he was an earth pony.” She looks back at me. “He is in my bedroom, resting on my bed, he might be awake.”

As if on cue, a scream erupts from down the hall.

“Let me go, I should be able to talk to him… if my suspicions are correct then he will be very confused, especially if he sees any of you… well… I take that back, he might freak out when he sees me but I’ll try my best.”

“Yeah, we’ll all stay here, better to let the princess take this matter into her own hoof.”

I roll my eyes at the sarcasm. I start walking down the hall. Out of the corner of my eye I see Twilight gallop down the stairs. I’m assuming she is going to her pet dragon to get news of a new princess to Celestia as soon as possible.

Back to the task at hand- err, I mean hoof. I push the door open to see a Silver stallion crying into his hooves on the bed. Unsure what to do, I enter the room, that’s when he notices me.

“What… the”

I step forward. “John?”

“H-h-how did you know my name?”

I take another step forward. “It’s me! Anon!”

His eyes widen. “No… Way”

I run up to hug him. “The Mane six are outside, you need a name for yourself… I’ve got your backstory taken care of… or at least I hope I do.”

He looks at me. “What pony are you?” he sees my wings and my horn. “Are you… an alicorn?”

“I am Princess Reise. Yes I am an alicorn. Princess Reise is an OC character I created back on earth.”

“Wait… did you say princess Reise? Are you…”

I bite my lip. “Yes, I am a mare.”

“Dude… that’s so weird…” he laughs. “You’re a girl now.”

I walk up and I put a hoof into his muzzle. “Shh… I don’t want the other ponies to know where I was from yet. I will tell them, but not yet.” He nods. “You still need a name… how about…. Silverlining?”

“Wow, I like it.”

I smile. “I’m grateful you came here too, I don’t know what I would’ve done if I was here alone.”

Silverlining responds. “Yes, yes, let us go meet the others.” He walks past me and exits the room. I run after him. “Where is everypony?” I smirked when I heard him say ‘everypony’

“Probably down-“ I walk up to the railing, overlooking the living room. “-stairs” I swallow loudly when I see who else is in the room with the mane six.

Celestia’s voice rings out from the living room. “Hello Princess Reise”

I nervously begin my decent down the stairs toward the nation’s ruler. I can feel Celestia’s gaze looking at my wings and my horn. As I reach the bottom of the stairs, the princess’s gaze is moved to another figure behind me.

“What is your name young one?”

“S-silverl-lining, your majesty.”

“I see…” She trails off, her gaze going back to me. I sit nervously on the floor. Silverlining joins me there.

“Girls, leave us, I have an urgent matter to deal with, such as the fact of there being a new alicorn Princess that nopony knows the origins of.”

“Yes Princess.” They all exit the cottage.

She turns to us. “Where did you come from?”

“I came from another world… but not as this form. I was previously a species called ‘Humans’ or ‘humanity’” I pause for a moment. “Both work”

“Well, I think I should call the other princesses here to figure out what to do with you and SilverLining here.”

“Silverlining was also the same speciies as I was.” To emphasize my point, he nods. “We both died in an explosion and I woke up being hurtled away from canterlot at unrealistic speeds. With Silver here keeping up”

“How did he survive the crash landing?”

“I pulled him close to me and I let my body take the abuse.” Wait… Shit that came out wrong.

I can tell that Princess Celestia is starting to ease up. “You two stay here, I will return.” With a Blinding flash she disappeared.

I stretch my wings as I finally figure out how to extend them. I wrap my wing over Silver. A few seconds later, another flash almost blinds me as three immortal princesses appear before me.

Luna steps forward, glaring daggers at me. “How are you a Princess, though we’ve never heard, nor seen you before ever?”

“Because I arrived in this world this morning… or was it yesterday? I’m not sure”

“Interesting, we shall continue this in the canterlot castle. In the private quarters.”

“I’m not leaving Silverlining either he goes with, or I stay with him”

Luna rolls her eyes. “Fine, he can come.” All three princesses light their horns and teleport to canterlot, bringing me and Silver with them.

Instantly, we found ourselves in unfamiliar territory. Everything was white and made of marble.

I could practically hear SilverLining grinning from actually placing hoof inside the legendary canterlot castle that is idolized by many bronies back on earth.

Luna leads us to her private quarters. A servant sees me and runs off. Presumably to spread news of a new alicorn. Once inside Luna’s private quarters, the three princesses sit down, facing me.

“How are you an alicorn miss Reise?”

“Well… I don’t know if you’ll believe me or not… but in my old world, the body I am currently in is an OC character named Princess Reise. Since I had her body, I decided to call myself that.”

“Your old world?”

“Yes, it was called earth. Its inhabitants are called humans. That is what Silverlining and I were before we came here.”

Cadance pops up. “How did you get here?”

“I don’t quite know myself. The last thing I can remember of my old world was a giant explosion. It was my 20th birthday and I was killed along with my best friend here, John, but his current name is SilverLining.”

All three princesses grimaced when I said I was killed on my birthday. “What was your name? and what is an ‘OC character’ as you mentioned earlier?”

“My human name was Anon. an OC character is a made-up character that someone used their imagination to create. I am the embodiment of my own OC character… weird huh?”

“Wait… how do you know so much about us even though you haven’t been here for more than a single day?”

I grimaced, I didn’t like the idea of them knowing that in my world, they are from a tv show made for 6 year old girls to teach them the ‘magic of friendship’

I sighed and began explaining. “In my world, there’s a television show. I’ll explain what a TV is, in due time. Anyway, there is a television show called ‘My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic’. The show follows Twilight and her friends as they discover lessons about friendship. And once they do learn a lesson, they send a letter VIA Spike to Princess Celestia. I know it doesn’t make much sense, because I’m incredibly confused as to how my world was able to make a cartoon about Twilight’s life”

The three princesses think for a minute before Cadance breaks the silence with a question for SilverLining. “How are you liking canterlot? I can tell very easily that you really enjoy it.”

He simply smiles. “It’s a dream come true, your majesty”

Cadance smiles at that.

“So, uh… are there any more questions? Because I have one for you”

The three princesses shake their heads. “Nope, ask your question.”

“What now?”
