Silent Dawn meets Applejack.
Chapter 2: The country mare.
After lying on the floor of Sugarcube Corner for a minute, the stomach pain wakes Silent Dawn up pretty quick.
"What happened?" Silent Dawn asked as he awoke
"You fell asleep, or did you pass out? I guess if your were sleeping it would've lasted more than a minute." Pinkie responded.
Silent Dawn picks himself up and asks the pink mare "Do you have any food here?"
"Yup!" Pinkie answered "Come with me."
Pinkie bounces happily to the kitchen with Dawn following her.
"Hmm, let's see here." Pinkie said as she looked around "Ooh, here we go!" Pinkie exclaimed as she picked up a cake and showed it to Dawn
Silent Dawn looks at it an says "Cake?"
"Yup!" Pinkie replied "It's good."
"I thank you for the suggestion, but I don't really have a sweet tooth." Silent Dawn said
"Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?" Pinkie exclaimed "What pony doesn't have a sweet tooth?"
Silent Dawn answered "Me."
"Hmm, let me see." Pinkie Pie said as she looked around in the kitchen "Ooh, there's...no wait that's got sugar in it. Oh, there's...no that has sugar too. Hmm, I don't think we have anything for those without sweet teeth."
Silent Dawn replied "Oh."
"Sorry." Pinkie said
Silent Dawn says to her "No, that's ok. I'll just try someplace else."
"Goodbye sir!" Pinkie waved to him
"Bye!" Silent Dawn said as he left
Silent Dawn leaves Sugarcube Corner and looks around Ponyville for someplace else.
Silent Dawn thought to himself (Ugh, if I don't find someplace to get food soon, I'll die of starvation)
Just then, Dawn bumps into a little filly.
"Oof." The filly says as Dawn bumps into her
"Oh, sorry about that." Silent Dawn apologizes as he helps the filly up
"That's alright sir!" The little filly said to him
Silent Dawn asked the little filly "Who are you?"
The little filly answered "Ah'm Apple Bloom, who are you?"
Silent Dawn replied "My name's Silent Dawn."
Apple Bloom says to him "Good to meet ya mister Dawn."
Silent Dawn's stomach growls loudly.
"Urg!" Silent Dawn groans holding his hoof on his stomach
"What's wrong?" Apple Bloom asked him
"Ugh, I'm going to die of starvation if I don't get something to eat soon." Silent Dawn said while holding his stomach
"Well what are doing just standing there!?" Apple Bloom exclaimed "Come with me!"
Silent Dawn follows Apple Bloom to a barn house.
"Applejack! Applejack!" Apple Bloom calls out
Silent Dawn thinks to himself (Applejack? Who's Applejack?)
A mare comes out of the barn, walks up to Apple Bloom and asks "What is it Apple Bloom?"
Apple Bloom says to the mare "This pony needs help, he's starving to death!"
"Say no more!" The mare says
Applejack goes up to an apple tree and kicks it, making all the apples come out. She then picks one up, walks up to Silent Dawn, and gives him the apple.
"T-thank you miss." Silent Dawn says a little nervously
The mare giggles a little "You sound cute." The mare says to Dawn
Silent Dawn eats the apple he was given, but his stomach still growled.
"Sorry about that." Dawn says to the mare
The mare says to him "Nah, it's alright. Y'all just need a few more."
The mare picks up a few more apples and gives them to Dawn.
Silent Dawn says a little nervously "T-thank you. What's your name anyway?"
"Ah'm Applejack. What's your name sugar cube?" The mare says to Dawn
"M-my name's Silent Dawn. It's good to meet you miss Applejack." He says to her nervously
Applejack giggles a little "Ah'm sorry, your voice just sounds so cute. It's good to meet you Dawn."
Silent Dawn eats the apples he was given, and then his stomach stops growling.
Silent Dawn lets out a sigh of relieve and says "Ah, finally my stomach pain is over. Thank you Applejack."
Applejack smiles and says "That's quite alright Dawn. Feel free to stop by anytime."
Silent Dawn gives a little smile and says "Thanks."
Just then, Silent Dawn hugged Applejack, and she blushed a little.
Applejack says a little nervously while being hugged "U-um, I think you've already showed your appreciation to me Dawn." She tries to get him off her, but he just keeps hugging her "Um, sugar cube, you can stop now." After a few minutes of hugging, Dawn finally stops
Silent Dawn says a little nervously "U-um o-ok, I-I'll be off now."
Silent Dawn heads off and goes home.
Applejack says to her sister "That unicorn had a cute voice, I just hope he doesn't hug me like that again."
Silent Dawn goes into his home and lies down in the living room with a relaxed look.
Silent Dawn says to himself "I liked that mare. She was nice. I'll probably visit her again later, maybe another hug like the first one."
Silent Dawn meets Applejack.
One day in Ponyville, the only male unicorn in a house of a couple females can't stand starvation. After looking in several places the male unicorn Silent Dawn can't stand it anymore.
"Ugh!" Silent Dawn groaned
After that groan, Silent Dawn's mother, Tender Heart, comes into the same room as her son.
Tender Heart asked "What is it Silent Dawn?"
Silent Dawn answered "We've got no food at all."
Tender Heart replied "What are you talking about? We have plenty."
"Plenty for you and Sunlit Shine, you know there's things I can't eat or else I throw up." Said Silent Dawn
"Suure you will." Said Tender Heart in a sarcastic voice.
"What does that mean?" Silent Dawn asked
Tender Heart replied "Nothing. Now I have to take your sister with me into town."
Tender Heart then took Silent Dawn's younger sister, Sunlit Shine, with her into town to see a friend of hers. Leaving Silent Dawn alone in the house, without food he can stomach.
*Silent Dawn's stomach growls* "Ugh! I can't stand this annoying hunger!" Silent Dawn said feeling annoyed
Silent Dawn hasn't been able to eat for a few days, his mother often leaves him alone at their house to go to work, or to be with friends. She only goes and gets food once about every 3 weeks, and Silent Dawn is having bad hunger pangs since he doesn't even get food at school. The lack of food in his body is starting to take its toll.
"Argh! I can't take this pain, I gotta find something to eat." Silent Dawn said trying to resist the pain in his stomach
There was one problem though, Silent Dawn got nervous easy, and often didn't speak to other ponies, which could be a problem if he's trying to survive from starvation. But he was going to have to put that behind him so he could get some food. After taking a few bits with him, he decided to go out into Ponyville. He walked nervously through Ponyville, looking around for a place to find food. Some ponies just looked at him while he walked through, which only made his nervousness worse. His bad nervousness led him to quickly enter a nearby building. When he entered it, he looked around and only saw a pink mare in the building. He takes a few breathes and walks up to the pink mare.
"Um...hello?" Silent Dawn asked the pink mare
The pink mare quickly notices him and startles him a little with her response.
"Hello there!!" Said the pink mare "My name's Pinkie Pie, welcome to Sugarcube Corner! Where all the party is at! Hey, I've never met you before. Ooh, those glasses!" *Pinkie takes the glasses off of Dawn's face and puts them on hers* "Whoa, things look so weird." *starts waving her hoof in front of her face* "Oooooooh, my hoof looks funny." *she giggles and gives Dawn his glasses back* "So, what can I do for you?"
Silent Dawn stands there speechless for a moment before passing out
Silent Dawn's nervousness got the best of him, and he passed out and fell to the floor after Pinkie Pie had finished talking.
"It's ok, I can wait." Pinkie Pie said
