The Elites

These Griffons aren't going down without a fight.

After the last few days of panicking and worrying Princess Twilight issued a declaration of war against the Griffons. An Equestrian Military is being formed, and I'm signing up.

Luckily I'm just old enough to qualify. I told you I wasn't a kid anymore. This is what I have to do. The Griffons are trying to take over the world. I almost don't blame them. Us ponies took over there land and forced them to live across the mountains in the east, far away from their homes. But know they murdered are princesses, and I can't feel sorry for them after that.

I don't mean to brag, but I am one of the fastest pegasi you'll ever meet. The only pegasus that can actually beat me is Rainbow Dash. I always hear this one obnoxious filly talk about Rainbow Dash as if she was a saint. Rainbow Dash even has her own fan club, where's my fan club?

May 18

I got accepted! It wasn't that hard though, the princess is so desperate for soldiers that basically anyone can become one. It's still an honor for me. I packed my bags, said goodbye to my parents, and got on the train to Canterlot.

All I can say is that I'm regretting my decision a little bit after seeing the base. It looked sad and depressing and not at all a place where I would want to live.

The first thing I was told to do when arriving was go to the field for athletic testing. There were hundreds in front of me, and I got to the base early. This is going to be a long wait. Finally after about five hours of waiting it was my turn to be tested. They had already divided us up by what type of pony we were. The pegasi would mostly doing flight oriented things and the unicorns would do mostly magic oriented things. Earth ponies would do the things pegasi and unicorns had to do too, like running and weights, but that was there main focus unlike us. Captain of the pegasus squad, Spitfire told me to fly to the opposite side of the field as fast as I could. I zoomed through that, I fly farther than that every day. When I was done, Spitfire looked astonished, I guess I did good.

After that I was tested on dodging, running, jumping, and aiming. And I can safely say that I passed everything.

May 19

Test results are in, and I apparently am faster than I thought. I broke Hyper Chaser's old speed record. But so did another pony.

Rainbow Dash. She beat me again. I hate this.

I was told to go to a special office at midnight. When I got their I saw Rainbow Dash, a green and blue pegasus, three unicorns, and two earth ponies. What were we all doing here.

"Welcome" said an red earth pony I never seen before.

"My name is Bronze Stones and I am your new leader. You will not be apart of whatever everypony else is doing because you have been selected for The Elites." What is this guy talking about.

"The Elites are a group of selected soldiers that are the best of the best. You are the fastest most magical most strongest most talented ponies Equestria has to offer. And you will be put to the ultimate test. You will go on the most dangerous missions for your country to stop the Griffons from winning this war. You're first mission

begins tomorrow."

I can't believe it, I was chosen as one of the best ponies Equestria has to offer. I am going on missions.

May 20

Now lets meet the rest of the team.

Rainbow Dash-The only pony who is faster than me. A huge show off and a big bragger. Not good at camouflage.

Thunder Hype-This pony looks exactly like Mother Equestria. What kind of pony is blue and green? At least I know I'm better than one pegasus here. He also loves to play pranks. But don't worry I'll get my revenge on him.

Light Dancer-A yellow and white female unicorn. She has already began gardening around are headquarters. Yeah, we're getting our own building, how awesome is that? But the flowers do look nice, and tasty.

Ruby Heart-Dark red, red, and pink unicorn-Ruby Heart is nicer than Pinkie Pie and a bigger gem lover than Rarity. Ruby Heart packed her collection of gems instead of packing anything else.

Twister-A black and green unicorn. He hasn't said anything yet. All he does is write in his book. Apparently his magic levels broke an all-time record. Even beating Princess Twilight's. That's pretty cool, for an unicorn.

Daisy-A purple and silver earth pony and the only one of us who has second thoughts about joining The Elites. Bit of a scaredy pony, why did she join the military in the first place.

Applejack-An orange and yellow earth pony who runs Sweet Apple Acres back home in Ponyville. She is a good friend of Rainbow Dash and for some reason has a country accent. We're nowhere near the country.
