The Strength of Imagination
In a certain backyard, three siblings were
sitting around, about to discuss what they
were going to do. The oldest, a brother
and a Brony, was nicknamed "Mickey"
and around his teen years. The secondoldest
was a sister, a Whovian,
nicknamed "Phoebe", and somewhere
around the age of 14. The third-oldest
was also a sister, a Whovian, but was
nicknamed "Lydia" and just around the
age of 9.
Mickey: "So, what are you two planning
in doing this weekend?"
Phoebe: "Not really sure."
Lydia: "It's my turn to feed our puppy,
Penny, but other than that, nothing. You?"
Mickey: "Nothing either. But I just had a
thought. Anyone up for a few rounds of
'Super Smash Bros Brawl'?"
Phoebe: "Alright!"
Lydia: "I'm in too, just don't keep beating
me and give me a chance for once."
But as they were talking, they were
unaware of a rainbow colored portal
opening above them. When Lydia
finished, however, the portal started
pulling them in. When they felt the pull,
all three of them looked up.
Mickey: "What the-?! How did that get
there?!"
Phoebe: "I have no idea, but I'd suggest
we-"
Lydia: "HEAD FOR THE HILLS!"
By that point, however, the portal's pull
was already pulling them towards it so
that they weren't able to run. As the
portal pulled Mickey, Phoebe, and Lydia
in, they began to glow. The moment they
entered, they (and the portal)
disappeared completely.
In a different world...
In the sky, a rainbow colored portal
opened up, 'spitting' out 4 figures before
vanishing. The 4 figures crashed, sending
up a massive cloud of dust. There was a
lot of coughing as a sunset-red Alicorn
emerged from the cloud of dust. The
Alicorn looked at himself in shock, not in
a way of fear, but in a way of it being
unexpected. Mickey turned around to see
a grey Alicorn, a sunset-red Alicorn with
a fancy mane, and a small dragon. As the
dust cleared, they all looked at
themselves in actual shock.
Phoebe: "Where are we?!"
Lydia: "Why do we look like our pony
forms?!"
Mickey: "AND who is the dragon that
came with us?"
Then the three Alicorns looked at the
dragon in curiosity.
?????: "You mean you don't know who I
am? You've cared for me for quite some
time!"
Mickey was the first to make out what that
meant.
Mickey: "Penny?!"
Penny: "Yep, it's me, the puppy with a
'rich' name!"
All four of them then started laughing at
Penny's joke, uncontrollably.
Mickey: "Just so you know, I'm pretty sure
that we're in Equestria. But the real
question is: WHERE in Equestria are we?"
??????? ?????: "Halt! In the name of
Princess Celestia!"
The four looked around to see spears
pointed directly at them.
Mickey: "Never mind. It looks like we're
in Canterlot Castle."
Then a white stallion Unicorn with a blue
mane stepped forward.
Mickey: (Whispering to the others) "It's
Shining Armor! Just try to act casual!"
Shining Armor: "Who are you and where
are you from?!"
Mickey: "My name is-(thinks for a quick
moment)- Poaling Imagination. The other
sunset-red Alicorn behind me is Rose
Slasher, one of my sisters. The silver
Alicorn next to her is my other sister,
Lead-Dial. And the small dragon-"
Penny: "Hey!"
Mickey: "Sorry! The dragon is Penny,
another member of the family. As for
where we're from, we're from another
world."
Shining Armor: "You must be brought
before Princess Celestia immediately! She
will see if you are telling the truth or not!"
The guards made the 3 Alicorns and
Dragon go through the halls, into the
throne room where Princess Celestia was
reading her student's most recent report.
Upon seeing the ponies and dragon, she
rolled up the scroll and set it aside.
Princess Celestia: "Shining Armor, who
are these ponies and this dragon?"
Shining Armor: "They fell from the sky.
They claim their names are Poaling
Imagination, Rose Slasher, Lead-Dial, and
Penny. They claim to be from another
world."
Princess Celestia: "Well then, Poaling
Imagination, how did you and your
friends come here?"
Poaling Imagination (A.K.A. Mickey):
"You wouldn't believe us if we told you."
Princess Celestia: "Try me."
Poaling Imagination: "Well, we were just
discussing what to do to keep ourselves
occupied when a rainbow colored portal
appears and pulls us in! The next thing we
know, we're like this and in this world!"
All the guards started laughing like
hyenas.
Shining Armor: "You really expect us to
believe a story like that?!"
P.I.: *points to his 3 friends*
The other two Alicorns were struggling to
walk on 4 legs while the dragon was
having trouble walking on 2 legs.
Everypony, including Princess Celestia,
had a sweat-drop by their heads. It was
embarrassing to see 2 Alicorns and a
dragon wobbling and struggling like
newborn fawns.
Shining Armor: "Okay, maybe you were
telling the truth."
P.I.: "Princess Celestia, if it isn't too much
to ask, would it be alright if me and my
friends lived in Ponyville for the time
being?"
Princess Celestia: "I don't see why not."
Rose Slasher: "Who here wishes that the
portal had taken us somewhere else, like
the TARDIS?"
Lead-Dial, Rose Slasher, and Penny all raised their hooves/claws into the air.
At Sweet Apple Acres, Twilight Sparkle
was looking around for her friend,
Applejack, with help from her #1
assistant, Spike.
Spike: "I see her Twilight! Applejack's
over there bucking the apple trees!"
Twilight and Spike went over to Applejack
, who saw them as they came over.
Applejack: "Well howdy Twilight! What
brings you to Sweet Apple Acres today?"
Twilight Sparkle: "Princess Celestia just
sent a letter saying that there are 3 new
ponies and a new dragon coming to
Ponyville today! The letter said that their
names are Poaling Imagination, Rose
Slasher, Lead-Dial, and the Dragon's
name is Penny. The 3 new ponies are all
Alicorns, and they're also a brother and 2
sisters, the dragon was not born into the
family, but accepted into the family.
Princess Celestia wants us to welcome
them and give them a place to stay.
Spike: "I know I'll be there! I'll finally get
to meet a dragon my age that won't be a
tease! Unlike those teenager dragons
from a while ago."
Applejack: "You can count on me being
there Twilight!"
Twilight: "I've told the rest of the girls
already, and they should be here any
minute! It said in the letter that they'd
meet us at the Library."
Applejack: "Well let's get going then!"
Meanwhile, over Ponyville, an Alicorn
was flying alongside a chariot that
carried a dragon and two other Alicorns.
Poaling Imagination : "Well sisters,
Celestia did a good job teaching you two
how to use magic!"
Rose Slasher: "Do you think that the
Doctor-"
Poaling Imagination : "Doctor Whooves."
Rose Slasher: "Do you think I'll see Doctor
Whooves around?!"
Poaling Imagination: "Well I think I saw a
big blue box at the edge of the town. So
that's a yes."
Finally, the chariot and Alicorn landed on
the ground just outside the Golden Oaks
Library.
Poaling Imagination: "Well, Princess
Celestia said that Twilight and her friends
would meet us in the Library."
When the 4 friends walked through the
door, however, the Library was a mess!
Twilight Sparkle: "Oh no no no. UGH!
Where is it?!"
Spike: "Hey, you must be the new ponies
and dragon Celestia wrote to us about!
I'm Spike, Twilight's #1 assistant! Sorry
about the mess, but Twilight can't find a
book she wanted to read. Even I can't get
her attention!"
Poaling Imagination: "Here, let me try.
Twilight? Twilight?! TWILIGHT?!"
Twilight Sparkle, since she wasn't looking
where she was going, ran right into
Poaling Imagination, sending him flying
into a bookcase, knocking all the books
on it onto him. One book on the top shelf
fell and landed right on Poaling
Imagination's head.
Twilight Sparkle: "Sorry!"
Poaling Imagination: "It's alright. By the
way, would the book you're looking for
happen to be an Equestrian history book.
Because the pages I'm looking at are
screaming history." *in thought* I should
probably check out this book sometime.
Twilight Sparkle: *looks at the cover
carefully* "It is actually! Thanks!"
*Levitates book off Poaling's face*
After Twilight levitated the book towards
her, however, she dropped the book. The
Alicorn was handsome, but there was
something about him that she couldn't
explain. As for Poaling, he'd always seen
Twilight in the show and thought she was
great, but after seeing Twilight up close,
he felt something surge through him, as a
sort of 'spark' came between them.
Twilight Sparkle: *Turns away to hide her
blushing* "H-hello. You're the ponies that
Celestia wrote to us about, right?"
Poaling Imagination: *Turns away to hide
his blushing* "Y-yes."
Rose Slasher: "Well, don't the two of you
look cute together!"
Poaling Imagination: *Both snap out of it*
"Knock it off sis'! Anyway, that Alicorn is
my sister, Rose Slasher. The Alicorn over
by the door is my other sister, Lead-Dial.
And the dragon on her back is Penny."
All: "Nice to meet you!"
Twilight Sparkle: "My name is Twilight
Sparkle, and it's nice to meet you too! If
you want, I can show you all around the
town."
Poaling Imagination: "Sure!"
Rose Slasher: "If there's any chance of
seeing that big blue box on the way, I'm
coming!"
Lead-Dial: "Might as well."
Penny: "I know that I'm not going to just
sit here, I hate being bored!"
Twilight: "Although I wonder where-"
Pinkie Pie: *appears out of nowhere*
"Hiya Twilight!" *looks at the gang,
gasps, and zips off to who-knows-where*
Rose Slasher: "Well, that was one of the
most random encounters we ever had."
Poaling Imagination: "I'd say that
something is going to happen soon."
Later...
Twilight Sparkle: "Why'd you want to look
around here?"
Rose Slasher: "I'll explain later. But in the
meantime, keep an eye out for a big blue
box."
Penny: "Found it!"
The gang looked at where Penny was
treading around. There, between two
trees, was a police box known as the
TARDIS. Suddenly, a brown stallion came
out of the TARDIS.
Rose Slasher: "Hello Doctor!"
Doctor Whooves: "Wait a minute, how'd
you know that I'm the Doctor? And who
are you anyway?"
Rose Slasher: "Well, err. Bro? Can you
help me out here?"
Poaling Imagination: "Sure."
Doctor Whooves: "Hold on a second, I'd
better take a scan of your brother." *pulls
out his sonic-screwdriver*
The Doctor scanned Poaling Imagination
and looked at the data, with wide eyes.
Doctor Whooves: "Wait a second, the
energy levels on all 4 of you are off the
charts! Adrenalin, Intelligence, Stamina,
Speed, Agility, everything! This should not
normal!"
Suddenly, a cement cylinder, about the
size of the TARDIS, appeared just a few
feet away.
Poaling Imagination: "Is that a dead
TARDIS?!" *horn suddenly surges and
starts dragging him towards the cylinder*
Rose Slasher: "I think so!" *bites onto
Poaling Imagination's tail and tries to pull
him back*
Lead-Dial: "Need some help?!" *does the
same to Rose Slasher's tail*
Penny: "Don't leave me out of the game!"
*grabs Lead-Dial's tail and pulls*
Suddenly, Rose Slasher lost her grip and
Poaling Imagination went reeling towards
the dead TARDIS, which vanished after a
flash of light that appeared upon contact.
The TARDIS vanished, but Poaling
Imagination was laying on the ground
where the TARDIS was.
Poaling Imagination: "Ow. Wait, what just
happened?" *gets back on his hooves*
Rose Slasher: "Maybe you swallowed it
whole! Haha!"
Poaling Imagination:
*sarcastically*"Hardy har har. Why don't
you try being serious here?"
Lead-Dial: "Eh, we'll think about it later.
But right now, we've got other places to
see & other ponies to meet."
Poaling Imagination: "Yeah, you're right.
Later Doctor!"
As the group left the very confused
Timelord, a howl, so distant that nopony
noticed it, came from the Everfree Forest.

Twilight Sparkle: "And this is Carousel
Boutique, where one of my friends, Rarity,
lives and works. Shall we introduce you 4
to her?"
Rose Slasher: "Sure, why not?"
The gang walked in and saw Rarity
putting the finishing touches on her latest
masterpiece.
Rarity: *finishes and looks toward the
gang* "Welcome to Carousel Bout- Oh!
Why hello Twilight! Are these the new
ponies you said were coming earlier?"
Poaling Imagination: "Well, we're new in
town so I'd say that's a 'yes'. Now allow
me to start the introductions, I am Poaling
Imagination. Those two Alicorns are my
sisters. The sunset-red one is Rose
Slasher."
Rarity: "You must tell me how you do your
mane, it absolutely suits you!"
Rose Slasher: "Uh, maybe later?"
Poaling Imagination: "The grey one is
Lead-Dial."
Rarity: "Grey?! How simply horrid!
Although I suppose your name, cutie
mark, and mane make it work out a little."
Lead-Dial: *in thought* "What's wrong
with grey?"
Poaling Imagination: "And the dragon is
Penny."
Penny: "Hello."
Rarity: "My my! Your scales are simply
dazzling! Like they're actually
gemstones!"
Twilight Sparkle: "Well it looks like we
should be heading back to the Library
now. Bye Rarity!"
Rarity: "Goodbye Twilight!"
Later...
Rose Slasher: *walks through the door to
the Library, followed by the rest of the
gang* "Why is it so dark in-"
Suddenly the lights came on.
"SUPRISE!!!"
