Where the moon becomes brighter

Prologue

Two rapiers clashed in the gardens of Canterlot, still damaged by the siege a week ago; the ones who held the rapiers were none other than Concord and Charon.

"Getting better, partner..." Said concord with a grin as he stared through the deadlock.

"The same goes to you, even though you lived since before Equestria was founded and I barely used a rapier in my life."

Concord kicked Charon in the stomach and made him fall backwards, but before he could stab him he rolled to the side dodging the blow, stood up and hit the son of the draconequus in the back with Celestia's rapier's hilt. Concord turned around after regaining his balance and swung Luna's rapier towards Charon, who blew it out of his hands with a single movement.

"Aren't you both training a bit too mu--" Said Luna, still in her Terran form, as she passed through the garden entrance before being interrupted by a rapier to the face.

At this sight, both Concord and Charon were petrified in the positions they were. Luna took out the rapier lodged in her skull and look at both of them with a rather annoyed frown.

"Run?" Asked Charon.

"A marvelous plan, I say." Responded Concord.

They both started running away but were stopped at the sight of an entire army consisting of Luna's ponies appearing. At this moment both of them hugged each-other in sheer terror looking at Luna as she got closer and closer.

"I'll do things to you not even the Corrupted Nightmare Moon would even dare to think of..."

Charon and Concord screamed at the top of their lungs.

The Great Pony War had finished a week ago, Discord had been defeated and with that the corruption eradicated. The world had returned to its former state of peace, and everypony would live in harmony once again. But several questions remained unanswered, like the reason for the blinding light striking Charon back in Terra, or if it had affected someone else...
