-Sasha Kaidonovsky Twilight Sparkle, the newest alicorn princess, is now moving in the shelves of the Golden Oaks Library, the official library of Ponyville and her home. With her was her assistant, the dragon Spike. They were looking for a book for her to read.
"Hey Spike! Do you find anything?" Twilight asked her assistant.
"Not yet Twilight. Heck, I think we should somepony to help us." Spike suggested. He was still searching the shelves, when he found something.
"Hey Twilight! Look at this!" Spike exclaimed, getting the attention of Twilight.
"What you got there?" Twilight asked. When she trotted towards him, she could see he was holding a very metallic box.
"Do you know this Twilight?" Spike asked Twilight, and she just shook her head, meaning it's a 'no'. However, when they look at it a little bit closer, they could a symbol of something and a red button.
"What does it mean?" Spike asked. Reluctantly, Twilight got her hoof to the button, and in seconds, a screen appeared. The screen showed a very peculiar map of Ponyville, including those four green dots, dubbed as Gipsy Danger, Striker Eureka, Cherno Alpha and Crimson Typhoon. They are 40 miles away from Ponyville, but she still wondered, what are those names? Did somepony know them? She must tell this to her mentor, Princess Celestia, Princess of Day and the Sun.
"Hey Spike, give me my quill and paper, I will need to write this." Twilight said to her number one assistant.
"Okay." Spike replied as he hurried to get what Twilight requested. What they don't know, is that they will have a very big surprise. A very, very, very, very big surprise.
-Location: 40 miles from Ponyville-
Inside the mountain 40 miles from Ponyville lies four Jaegers, Gipsy Danger, an American Mark III Jaeger, Striker Eureka, an Australian Mark V Jaeger(and the only in existance), Cherno Alpha, a Russian Mark I Jaeger(for some a Mark IV), and Crimson Typhoon, a Chinese Mark IV Jaeger. But outside of the hulking metal beasts, lies the 7 Rangers, Stacker Pentecost, Chuck Hansen, the Kaidonovsky couples and the Wei Triplets. They are still wearing their Jaeger control suits, which of course is not practical. Stacker Pentecost, the previous Marshal of the remaining PPDC, stands up, looking at his surroundings saying in his thoughts:
'What the hell is going on here? I thought we lost this beasts.' The other Rangers also stands up, and groan in pain.
"Hey Marshal! What's going on here?" Chuck asked the Marshal.
"Yeah Marshal! What he said." Aleksis said. The Wei Triplets, on their part, was mostly silent, unless in combat.
"I don't know, but I don't know why we are here. We're supposed to be dead, with the exception of Gipsy whose pilots are not here." The Marshal replied.
"So what are we gonna do?" Sasha asked the Marshal. Stacker pondered for a moment, before answering:
"We could just take the Jaegers, but someone must keep Gipsy out of danger. But, it's also foolish. So I suggest to go out of that exit and go recon, while we need to communicate with each other." With some agreement, they headed out, towards the unknown.
Twilight was still waiting for her mentors reply about the letter she sent. It was unexpected that the letter would be late, unless for particular reasons, like too much addressing or such that a very large cake addiction. Her thoughts was interrupted by a very mare-like voice, but was not she was expecting:
"Four signatures confirmed for recognition. Dilation, Mark III, Mark IV, Mark I and Mark V Jaegers. Identities: Gipsy Danger, Striker Eureka, Cherno Alpha and Crimson Typhoon. All in standby mode. Waiting for rescue." There it was again. Those four names is still stuck in her head, wondering what the names are. When she looked at the screen, the green dots are still there, still have the marks and the names of those weird ponies.
'I must know who they are. Even if it takes me weeks, months or years of research.' She thought in determination as Spike got her the reply letter.
Author's Note
Basically this is a collection of the sentences used by the pilots of Cherno, Crimson, Striker, and Gipsy. Trying to lift the spirits up for Pacific Rim, and making it half collection, and half prologue.
The Rangers of the Pan Pacific Defense Corps are now walking in an unknown location, with their caution level high most of time because of the unknowns in here.
"Hey Marshal, when we will have to stop?" Chuck Hansen asked Stacker Pentecost.
"After we will find a Shatterdome or a town. But right now, where in a goddamn forest of unknowns." Stacker replied.
"I just wish that we just brought along our Jaegers." Aleksis huffed.
"As of now, we can't use our Jaegers because who will pilot Gipsy then? No one right. So let just walk in this damn forest." Stacker said. They are now apparently lost when they are in twist and turns of this place, until they found something peculiar. It was a three house, and when they tried to take a closer look, a zebra had it's eyes on them.
"What the..." Chuck said as the zebra look at them even more.
"Who are you wandering in the forest like a hermit?" The Rangers didn't believe it. A talking zebra! What in the world is happening here?
"Sorry, but zebra's don't talk." Sasha said matter-of-factly.
"That's for you to say, but here's your evidence. But I must say, who are you?" The zebra asked.
"I'm Aleksis Kaidonovsky, and here's my wife, Sasha."
"Over there is the Wei Triplets, and I'm Chuck Hansen."
"And I'm Stacker Pentecost, Marshal of this group. I must ask, who are you?"
"I'm Zecora, the only zebra living here in the Everfree Forest."
"Okay then Zecora, we are the members of a group wherein it's classified. But since it's almost night time, we need to have a place to rest first."
"Don't worry. You can use my house as your refuge for your group in the long trek." Zecora said.
"Thanks." With the gesture of appreciation, the Rangers move inside Zecora's house, which in they need to duck for the door. After some hearty feast, they got themselves into deep slumber.
-Luna's Perspective-
Being the Princess of the Night, for Luna, has it's own perks. Speaking towards other ponies in their dreams is not bad, and she could create heavenly bodies out of star dust. But one particular nightmare got her attention. She scanned the entire area, and found the nightmare coming from Zecora's house. Using her spell, she quickly dives into the nightmare, but it will be her worst visitation ever.
'Odd..' Luna thought as the nightmare is now forming it's shape. It's surroundings were vivid with tall buildings, much like it was in Manehattan. However, what really surprised Luna was three bipedal monsters in some sort of a bay. Two out of the three were towed in the air by some sort of something, while the third one was walking on it's own. The first one stopped, followed by a what seems to be a thick mare voice.
"Cherno Alpha reaching target zone. Disengaging transport." Luna saw that the first monster dropped, but contacted the water surviving in one piece. It slowly rises, getting it's 'eye' rising to it's proper position, while it emits a loud sound. The second one also drops, surviving also intact. The creatures walk, with the voice saying:
"Cherno Alpha in position Miracle Mile. Cherno Alpha holding the coastline, reckon us on!" Luna got the nightmare to switch, this time with the same creatures. She watched as the creatures still walks, but apparently something rose up from the water for moment, getting the attention of the second beast. It turned it's head, but then another monster comes out, and swung it's tail to the other creature.
'Wait...Why do they have to fight each other?' Luna thought as the monster falls down, but it's comes up again. With the creature back up, and after a few moments, three rotating saws come out, and a mocking-like stance was carried out. When the creature tried to pounce on it, the creature attacks, attempting to slice it off. But the creature just grabbed two of them, but the other creature hops over, it's lower thing just rotated and throw it off. The creature just landed, but not before the familiar sound was heard, and the other creature bashed the creature off by six times before being thrown off by the tail.
'I can't take it anymore..' Luna thought as she cut off her spell. 'I must get the bottom of this.' But before she could fly towards Zecora's, she thought of what are those creatures where. With a double check, she flew towards Zecora's house to find answers. But for what will come next will be a scar in her life forever.

Luna is now desperately flying towards Zecora's house, not by visiting her but because of the nightmare she encountered. She was afraid this was a revelation for the future, wherein she theorized giant monsters against giant monsters battling to the death in Equestria.
'No no no no no no! I must reach her before that happens!' Luna screamed in her head as nervousness kicked in. She is now more than ever nervous and, in a bad case, was getting anxious. She was afraid of this monsters destroying Equestria, her beloved land, and was anxious of telling Zecora.
'Okay Luna....Be calm and be brave. Just what did I do before when I'm Nigh-' She stopped mid-sentence in her thoughts, the name of Nightmare Moon was ringing her spine to shiver. Of course, she was brave when she was in her 'evil' form, but only in the face of bringing eternal night to Equestria. Now, in her 'normal' form, she is now not the brave mare she was used to be when she is banished to the moon.
'No Luna. Don't think about it. I might transform to her again.' Luna thought as she continued her flying.
Zecora's House
Zecora is watching the weird creatures in weird armor. Although the armor is not good compared to the ponies Royal Guards, they have similarities. But when she tries to take a closer look, a knock on the door interrupts her.
"Come in." Zecora said, and the door open, revealing the figure of none other than Princess Luna. But the knocking also alerted the strange creatures, and they stand up and hide.
"Hello Zecora! I suppose you wouldn't mind to show around any strange activities here." Luna said.
"Princess Luna, princess of the night. What an honor that you visit my house. However, there are no suspicious activities here." Zecora replied.
"But when I'm...when I'm....." Luna was just lost in words, and her mind was racing to find her words, but can't find it in a hurry.
"Your having your night watch? I'm sorry, but there are no suspicious activities in here. I think you misinterpret in here."
"But I....Just don't bother it. Maybe your right, and I'm sorry if I disturbed you in this time. I must go now." Luna said, and with that, she flew back towards Canterlot.
"Well that was nerve racking." Chuck said when the Rangers got out of their hiding places.
"Who was that?" Sasha asked.
"That was Princess Luna, Princess of the Night. Needless to say, she also saves her subjects from their nightmares." Zecora replied.
"Well shit, and if we are found, we are doomed. There must be a way to disperse her doubts in here." Stacker said.
"How about our Jaegers? Would that help?" Aleksis asked.
"Maybe, but one thing is for sure: We must have caution." Stacker replied. The Wei Triplets were mostly silent, listening to the growing conversation.
"However, we must be careful. Gipsy's pilots are not here, so we must deploy just one of our Jaegers." Stacker pointed out.
"Who will be it then?" Chuck asked. The Rangers look at each other, before turning their eyes on the Triplets. The Triplets just grin on their Ranger counterparts.
"Alright then. Crimson Typhoon, go and see of the activity in this place." With a nod of approval, the Rangers escorted the Triplets towards their Jaeger, Crimson.
-15 Minutes Later-
The Wei Triplets got to their Jaegers and began final checks before moving into the Drift.
"Ready to go in another mission brothers?" One of the Triplets asked.
"Ready as you two are."
"Let's go." One of them said. After 10 seconds of the neural handshake, Crimson Typhoon, the Mark IV Chinese Jaeger, began calibration before exiting the mountain by shooting it's plasma caster at the mountain wall. After checking if there are any Kaiju threats, and it seems have none, they began to walk towards the north, to the capital of Canterlot.
-Ponyville. Golden Oaks Library-
Twilight was still wide awake, despite her bloodshot eyes. She was drinking coffee just to keep her awake and to await her mentors reply.
'What's taking her so long?' Twilight asked in her thoughts as she goes down to check on Spike, who was sleeping beside the still wide thing. However, there was something that alerted her.
'What the...' She took a closer look and could see one of the green circles, named "Crimson Typhoon", is now moving towards Ponyville and Canterlot. But before she could go full panic mode, shaking began to form, and she checks outside. What she saw shocked her.
'Oh no...' This "Crimson Typhoon" is not a pony, but a rather large bipedal, cycloptic monster, walking in what seems to be in a straight pattern. But what Twilight don't know, is that the monster is just searching from it's recon mission.

Chapter three is here! Sorry if this chapter is rushed, because I got four stories to contend with, and pressure because assignments, projects and upcoming exams next week.

This story is in hiatus because originally I got a lot stories to write of, but because I can't let it rot it to death anymore, I got a plan for this old story.
Today, I'm gonna remove two or three of the chapters of this story to have another chapter more work to be done. After that, continuation of this story as usual. After the new long chapter is done and published, I will remove/stay this notice once for a while.
I hope you understand this because I think my two chapters here is super rushed, so I hope you will enjoy the new long chapter eventually.

Twilight watched as 'Crimson Typhoon' go in a steady patter of walking towards Ponyville and Canterlot. She hopes that these creature didn't need to destroy the town and capital city.
'Come on Crimson Typhoon, don't go here.' She hoped in her thoughts, but it was futile. 'Crimson Typhoon' is not slowing down, and the fact it's not stopping, is making her nervous. However, by a stroke of luck, it stopped, looking at the town itself. She is now extremely nervous. Is 'Crimson Typhoon' gonna destroy Ponyville in it's own interest?
"I could see a little town here." One of the Triplets said in Chinese.
"I could see that. Should we observe the town a little more closely, but having more distance?" Another triplet asked.
"Permission granted, but don't move." The last triplet gave the permission, and now the Tripets is now scanning the area with their Conn-Pod.
Twilight could see 'Crimson Typhoon' moving it's cycloptic first to left and then to the right, and to her guess, scanning for something to kill, that makes her sweat. But her heart beats faster when the eye of the creature suddenly stopped, towards the direction Sweet Apple Acres.
'Oh no. Not there!' She screamed in thoughts as 'Crimson Typhoon' fully locked it's eyes on the apple farm, wherein her friend Applejack, lives.
-Sweet Apple Acres-
Applejack, Element Bearer of Honesty, is just preparing for a beauty sleep when unfamiliar shaking of the ground made her uncomfortable. Thinking it's the Flim-Flam Brothers again, she poked her head out. But instead of the infamous brothers, she would not believe of what she saw.
'What in tarnation?' It's a critter she doesn't see everyday. It was large critter, having a cycloptic eye and it was bipedal. She is now breathing heavily, knowing that this creature could possibly destroy her farm. Suddenly, after some brief moments, the creature scanned the nearby area, Ponyville and the Everfree Forest, before setting it's sights on the farm itself, making Applejack extremely nervous.
'Oh no. Not on the farm!' Her cries was in her head, but again, the critter didn't go away. In fact, it fully locked it's sights on the farm, and in her guess, gonna destroy farm intently. However, instead of moving towards the farm to destroy it completely, it was just looking at the farm innocently and at....her? The creature moved it's body and now it's facing her direction. However, it was not the end of her problems. The creature is now making quick scans on the farm, possibly looking to grab at. However, as soon it was finished it's scan at the farm, it turned tail and started....walking back to where it came from.
'Where is it going?' Applejack thought, and by curious instinct, she followed the towering beast, unaware of the surprise she might encounter soon.
-Applejack's Perspective-
Applejack is now following the huge creature, in which she has greater detail. The creature was color red, like an apple, and it's eyes were somewhat orange. She was deeply troubled. If this creature is an apple bucker, then where did it come from? Her question was answered when the creature finally entered a huge mountain with a very huge hole with it.
'What the....'She trailed off in her thoughts when she entered the mountain. There was three more huge creatures, with different designs and coloration. However, when she entered the mountain, a voice was heard, probably a stallions voice, saying:
"What the hell is that?" When she turned her head to investigate where is the voice come from, she gets an unexpected surprise. Standing there, and was watching her, was four two-legged creatures, bipedal. There were also wearing some type of armor. She was now extremely nervous because of those four.
"Who are you anyways?" One of them asked. She was quite unsure how to answer, but she found some courage to reply back, saying:
"Hi! Mah name is Applejack! What's your partner?"
"Great. We just encountered a talking zebra and now we now have contact with a talking.....miniature horse here mates." One of them said. She took it as an offence.
"Miniature horse?! Ah'm a pony, if you don't mind!"
"Wow there. Don't go to der'mo yourself. Please, have a talk to us so we could settle the matter." Another one said. She is unsure, but since it was a friendly invitation, she didn't even mind. However, leaving the farm is bad mistake, as Applejack will soon learn the cost.

Hello guys! This is the chapter I'm saying in my hiatus concern chapter. However, please don't be mad because I posted this late and it's short, because I have quite difficulties to wrap this chapter.
One question: Flim-Flam Brothers, on a wooden robot, agree or not?
I will leave this story on hiatus again, but I will resume it if one of my stories is completely done.
Well, this is a sad development for you all.
Despite being one of the most well-liked in my story history, I know that I could not continue this story. Even if I wanted to, I have to take the burden of five stories needed to be finished, and when I said that I will continue this story after one of my stories is finished, I realized, that it would take months or a year before I could.
So in this day forward, I would sadly say that this program is cancelled. :(
