When Twilight finds a magical talking grimoire it begins to open her eyes to how dark the world truly is. Bringing with him the cold cruel knowledge of his world Twilight begins to see the world in a whole new light. Friendship might be magic, but it cannot save everyone. Nor can it save others from realities cold and cruel embrace.

How will the naïve mare deal with these dark truths and how will this grimoire react to this colorful world of magic and rainbows? With lots of sarcasm and snide comments of course!
