An Angel, A Demon, and A Gentleman

When my sight returned to me I saw the small quiet town of Ponyville.  Ashley was smiling and I knew it was because she could see her son again.  I guess she and Fluttershy would work out living arrangements.  We start heading to town and I know it is a matter of time before a certain pink mare would find us.

“So where do we begin looking for Toby?” Ashley asks breaking the silence.

“Well I would guess Fluttershy’s house but he might not be there at the moment.” I reply.

“Why not?”

“Well he could be in school, out with his friends, on a date with his fillyfriend, or kidnapped again.”

“What’s a fillyfriend?”

Oh yeah she doesn’t know the terminology.

“It’s the same thing as a girlfriend.”

“Oh ok. Wait HE HAS A GIRLFRIEND AND WHAT DO YOU MEAN KIDNAPPED AGAIN!”

Oops.

Shut up Squishy.

“Um well a year after he came to Equestria he was kidnapped by an evil mare named Chrysalis who is queen of the changelings, bug like ponies that feed of love, in an attempt to take over Equestria.  Don’t worry he was saved by the girls and she’s in hell.  As for his fillyfriend, remember that filly Silver Spoon?” She nods with an expression that probably could kill me.  “Well the two of them have had a crush on each other for a while and after his rescue they went on a date and have been dating ever since.” I smile hoping that would calm her down.  Thankfully she did.

“Well thankfully he’s okay, and I’m glad he’s with someone, I mean, somepony who he loves and love him.”

“Yeah.”  I turn to my right and see the one thing I have been waiting for.  The queen of parties, Pinkie pie.

“Hi Ashley funny seeing you here and who’s this. Is he you coltfriend,” Ashley and Me blush at this, “Hey you know what we need? A PARTY!”

“Pinkie um you know what yeah a party would probably be a good idea.” I say motioning for her to lead us to Sugercube corner.

“Oh Ashley one thing.”

“Yes?”

“Don’t question Pinkie.  Your head will hurt less.”

“Why would I question Pinkie?”

“Just trust me on this.”  I said as we arrive at our destination.  I look inside and see the lights off and that Pinkie isn’t with us.

“Ashley this is one of those moments where you don’t question Pinkie.”

“OK if you say so.”

We open the door and…

“SURPIRSE!”

Somehow Pinkie got the entire Ponyville into Sugercube corner before we got there.

“How did she”

“It’s Pinkie.”

“But”

“Ashley, its Pinkie don’t question it.”

“…Ok.”

“Mommy?” We turn to see Toby slowly walking toward us “Is that really you?”

“Yes Toby. Its me.”

He runs forward and they embrace in a big hug with everypony and me dawing at the sight.

“Um well ah I guess everypony knows who she is.  My name is Billy and I’m just a friend of Ashley’s and”

“You know who we are because you are a fan of the show My Little Pony that we are characters of and Toby and Ashley are characters of a fan fiction series that you like and both you and Ashley have been sent to protect my cute little nephew from any evil that we thought we beat” Pinkie finished with a squee.

“Um yeah that’s uh right.”

“How does she...?” Ashley started.

“Ashley what did I say?”

“It’s Pinkie, don’t question it?”

“Yeah.”

There is a bright flash and Princess Celestia and the beautiful Princess Luna appear before us.  I guess Twilight sent them a letter during our little exchange.

“Ashley, it is good to see you again and Billy it is good to meet you.  We do not know what the danger is but…”

“Its James”

She, Luna, Toby and the element bearers gasp.

“Yeah I know.”

“But how did he come back?” Celestia asks.

“We don’t know all we do know is that he is back and that Ashley and I have to help you defeat him.”

“Ok let us go somewhere more secluded to talk about this.”

She charges a spell and teleports the eleven of us to Canterlot castle.

“So how do you know its James, if you don’t mind me asking.” Fluttershy asks adorably hiding behind her mane.

“Yeah ah was wondering that too.” Applejack says nodding.

“Ok let me start from the beginning.  So I was run over by a motorized carriage driven by James, I’m not sure why he’s out of jail.  Anyway I die and go to heaven,” the girls gasp, Toby hugs me, “In heaven Faust and the devil tell me that Ashley and I that James is back in Equestria and after Toby.  The two of us have to help all of you to make sure that doesn’t happen.”

“I was hoping we were done with that ruffian,” says Rarity with Pinkie nodding like a bobble head.

“Well girls we’ll beat him before he does that” Twilight state with everypony agreeing.

“We still need to find out how he got here,” Rainbow states as she starts flying a bit.

“We will and once we do we’ll make sure that he can’t use it again,” says Luna.  Man is she beautiful when she’s determined.

“Ok here’s an idea, why don’t the alicorns look for a spell to do that while the rest of us make sure we are ready for James,” I suggest.

“Are you sure we can do this Mr. Billy?” Toby asks.

“Yes Toby I’m sure, and just call me Billy, Mr. Billy makes me sound old.”

“Ok Billy.”

We separate to the tasks I suggested.
