Author's Note
This side story will get more interesting later but for now it's about mainly Rainbow Dash, my OC Galaxy, and Scootaloo.
Thanks to my friend who wanted me to do a side story instead of my main story but he would rather stay anonymous.

The Odd Times: Chapter One
You wake in your bed to find that your friends Ditzy Doo, Rainbow Dash, Scootaloo, and Dinky Doo were waiting for you to wake up. "Good morning, Galaxy." said Scootaloo as she was the only one to notice your wake.
"Welcome home!" said everyone but Dinky due to her shyness and her not knowing you to well. "Well I'm sure surprised that all you decided to come in my room instead of wait until I was at least out of my room." you said with a slight blush on your cheeks.
"Scootaloo what are you doing here when you should be at the filly home?" you ask Scootaloo. "Well they don't know I'm here yet, but I left a note saying I was coming here so they shouldn't be to mad at me." she explains.
"Ok, but, wait Scootaloo isn't it your birthday tomorrow?" you say with a slight glitter in your eye. "Yah, why you ask Galaxy." she replies.
"I just wanted to know because I wasn't to sure." you say with confidence. "Speaking of birthdays, Galaxy isn't yours in few days?" asks Rainbow. "Yah but I don't need anything this year I just want that day to be spent with friends ok so no need for gifts." you say but Ditzy knows you still want one of her muffins.
"Dinky, why haven't you said anything at all I mean I know you don't talk much but still you talk more than this during the morning." you say to Dinky who is looking out the window. "Sorry Galaxy I've just been wondering, why were you gone for so long?" asks Dinky.
"I needed to go first of all to get us some support since this place isn't to stable financial wise, that's also why I have more than one job." you say with a tear slowly dripping from your eye. "Why are you starting to cry Galaxy?" asks both Scootaloo and Dinky simultaneously. "It's just realized that I have been gone a long time but also today is the three year anniversary of me arriving here but last year Vinyl broke up with me and that's why I had to get a second job to have enough money for this place and my club/bakery."
"Well time to go to work (sigh) I wish I could stay here but I need to make some more money for this place." you say filled with sorrow. "You can't leave without a muffin." said Ditzy while holding a muffin in her hoof. "Thanks Ditzy I'll be sure to bring you the muffin special from work, ok?" you say to Ditzy who's muffins always put you good mood. "That would be great but you do know there's no need to do that." says Ditzy with a smile on her face.
When you get to your bakery you notice that Scootaloo has followed you. "Why are you following me Scootaloo?" you say to the young filly. "I just wanted to get away from the filly home and I wanted to be near you." she says.
When you come home from a long day at work you notice Scootaloo when back to the filly home and you're the only one home besides Dinky. "Dinky where's your mother?" you ask the filly. "She's still at work and can you help me?" she says.
"Sure what do you need?" you say with a bright smile on your face. "I was just wondering will you have to leave for a long time again?" she asks you. "Dinky I to tell the truth can't answer that due to my work but next time I go I will be sure to bring you and your mother along." you reply.
Knock, Knock, Knock.
"Be right back someone's at the door." you say to Dinky as she draws something you can't quite identify. "Oh, Twilight what are you doing here?" you ask the princess. "Galaxy do you know where Rainbow is?" she replies. "No I haven't seen her since this morning" you say to Twilight as she looks worried more than normal, "Why you look so worried Twilight?" "It's just Rainbow wanted to meet me at your bakery but she wasn't there."
"She is most likely at her work right now." you tell Twilight as Ditzy comes through the door. "Well that would have been helpful to know earlier." she says with an annoyed look. "Well I must be going it is getting late I think I'll just stay at my library tonight" says Twilight.
"Hi Twilight long time no see.. Oh I forgot about the meeting sorry I was forced to work overtime." Rainbow says to Twilight "No problem we can have our meeting tomorrow ok."
The next morning you head to the filly home where Scootaloo is and talk to the pony at the front desk about how much it would be to adopt a filly and she says one-thousand bits. Then you ask "May I adopt Scootaloo?" the lady say ok and gives you paperwork to fill out and by the time Scootaloo wakes up you have all the paperwork done. When Scootaloo comes out of her room and sees you she notices that you filled out some paperwork and runs up to you and hugs you "Thank you Galaxy, thank you." she said while crying. "Happy birthday Scootaloo" you say to her.
When you and Scootaloo come home everyone was surprised when you said she staying that is until you tell them you adopted her as her birthday gift. "What! Galaxy why did you adopt Scootaloo? I mean it's not bad but, why?" Rainbow exclaimed. "I did it because I didn't want Scootaloo to live where she wasn't happy." you say in reply.
Knock, Knock, Knock
"Who could it be at this hour?" you say as you notice a pink pony through the peep hole. "I'll get it" says Rainbow as she flies to the door. When she opens the door a puff of confide which you can only infer that it's Pinkie Pie.
"Hello Pinkie." everyone says as the pink pony enters the room. "Pinkie the party isn't until three." you tell her. "I know that silly willy, I just wanted to see the birthday pony" she says. "Ok, just no roughhousing" you say as you walk through the door to your room.
