If the Avengers were ponies
It was a rainy day in Canterlot, all ponies were rushing inside quickly, trying to avoid getting rain on their expensive clothing and beautifully done-up manes. Twilight Sparkle was sitting by her chamber window, a calm expression on her face as she watched all of the ponies dash inside.
Speaking of Dash, she heard a familiar voice call behind her, "Everything OK Twi? Ya seem sorta out of it lately."
"I'm fine Rainbow, I'm just tired is all." The purple mare replied, then let out a small yawn.
"Lemme guess, you've been workin' yerself sick again, haven't ya?" Another voice replied. It was Applejack. She stepped inside of the Princess's chambers. Twilight smiled weakly before responding, "I've just been practicing some spells, ever since we left Ponyville, there hasn't been much going on. Sure, every now and then I'll have a few errands to run, but life here is pretty boring..." She sighed. The two friends standing there and listening took a long look at eachother, and frowned. AJ took a step forward, and spoke, "Well Twi, uh, what spells have you been practicin'?" In hopes of lightening the mood. The Alicorn's head quickly shot up, and she smiled, happy to explain, "Well, I've been reading over a few notes from the Starswirl the Bearded archive in the library, and I think I've found an old spell for traveling dimensions!" She beamed, exited to see her friends reactions, "A spell for traveling dimensions? And just what exactly would we be needing that for?" Rainbowdash asked curiously. "Don't you see? We can go anywhere we like! We could go to a world were everypony would be an exact copy of Celestia herself! Or a planet made of marshmallows! Or maybe even-" applejack cut her off, "Aw come on Twi, you can't possibly think our life here is THAT borin'?" She frowned. Just then, a royal messenger ran into the room, "Princess! I have exiting news!" All three of the mares' faces lit up, "What, what is it?!" Twilight shouted excitedly, "Our royal guards have spotted approximately THREE pigeons today!" The messenger smiled toothily, "You're dismissed!" She glared, and rudely shut the door in the pony's face with her magic.
"Geez Twi! Wasn't that a little harsh?" AJ asked, "You know, Twilight may have a point, if the most exiting news of the day was some lame bird watching maybe life in Canterlot really isn't that exiting?" The rainbow mare pondered.
"You see? Rainbowdash gets it!" She walked up to her door and opened it, this time without the use of magic, "That's it, tell everypony to meet up in the gardens in ten minutes!" She ordered, "But, it's raining..." Applejack responded, "That's an order!" She shouted, her friends stood there with shocked expressions on their faces. Twilight sighed, "I'm sorry, but please... Just trust me..." She stared at the floor, before walking out.
"We trust ya Twi..." AJ sighed, as she watched her friend leave the room. Why had Twilight been so out of character lately? Was Canterlot really THAT bad?
-10 Minutes Later-
All of the ponies had gathered round the royal gardens, all except Fluttershy.
"Ugh, where could she be?" Twilight groaned.
"Well wherever she is, she'd best hurry! My mane is getting absolutely soaked!" The pale unicorn whined, clutching her purple locks. Just then, they saw the yellow mare flying slowly towards them, but she was not alone. "Well, what are we all standing around here for? I heard there would be a magic show!"
"Discord!" All of the ponies yelled out angrily. Discord smirked, amused at their discomfort.
"I couldn't just leave him all by himself, he said he'd get lonely..." Fluttershy whimpered, as discord put on fake puppy dog eyes.
"Fine, whatever! Let's just do this stupid thing!" Twilight said, quite annoyed.
"Could we go to a party planet? I'd LOVE a party planet! With balloons, and cupcakes, and confetti and-" Pinkie pie kept going on and on about all the possibilities of a party planet, while Twilight just ignored her, and began her spell. Her face was full of concentration, while her horn lit up a bright pink. There was then a flash of lightening, and everything went Snow White...
-An hour later-
A red stallion awoke outside of a neatly trimmed maze, "Aw man, what the hell?" He rubbed his head, and then took a look at his hoof, his expression changing.
"WHAT THE HECK IS THIS THING!?" He screamed. His fellow companions began to wake up.
He looked up and saw a tall light green stallion with black hair slicked back, glaring at him. An amused look on his face.
"What're you smiling at reindeer games?" the stallion asked, as he lifted himself up off the ground.
"I was merely... 'Admiring' your current appearance." He said, confidently, " I'm quite surprised you recognized me."
"Yeah well, you don't see just anyone with hair that's been gelled back with some cooking oil." The stallion smirked back. They were both glaring at each other, fire in their eyes.
"Will you two knock it off already!" A palomino mare with a short, curly red mane shouted to the two.
"Glad to see you're alive to sweetheart!"
"Knock it off Tony!" the mare growled.
"Just trying to lighten the mood, jeez..."
There was a small moan, and everyone turned their attention toward yet another palomino pony, his mane however, was short and dusty brown. For some odd reason he was wearing a pair of shades. He was helping another stallion up. this one had short curly hair, and a light purple coat.
"I'm guessing those two are Clint and Bruce?" the mare asked in a rather monotonous voice.
"You guessed right." Bruce responded, as he struggled to stand.
Tony suddenly began staring intensely at his flank, "Guys! We've got tramp stamps!" He laughed.
Everyone began to stare at their rear. Natasha, has a black widow on hers, Clint has a bow and arrow, Bruce had a beaker on his, Loki had his helmet, and tony had... Tony had a heart.
"Although I must admit, yours look a lot cooler than mine..." he frowned.
"Guys... I feel like we're missing someone..." Clint looked around.
They all gasped, "STEVE!" They screamed. Loki however just stood there, looking rather bored.
"You may be forgetting yet another companion... Simpletons.." He mumbled the last bit so that no one heard.
"Oh yeah, Thor's missing too isn't he?" Tony asked.
There was a loud yell from inside of the maze....
