The alarm clock rang as a pegasus under the covers groaned. The dimly lit room slowly began to light up as Celestia raised the sun.A brown hand slowly crept from under the covers and began it's hunt for the source of the accursed sound.It fumbled around before the pegasus's head slowly came out from under the covers eyes half awake.He looked around for the metallic banshee,while picking up pill bottles."Anti-depressant,sleep medicine.."His voice trailed off as he looked at his door,whom had crept open and revealed a pair of eyes,staring at him.Under the eyes,a digital number flashed in rhythm to the disturbing sound.The eyes stared at the pony before dashing away."Thats gonna be a problem."The pegasus said as he threw the covers off and dashed after the pair of eyes.He quickly tripped over a pair of slippers and fell flat on his face.He instantly groaned as he knew, this was the start of a new day.
Outside his cottage, he heard the birds begin to chirp as they came closer to his home.One bird,flew towards a mailbox labeled,"Code Breaker",which was written in brown paint.The bird pecked at it until it opened up,revealing the many contents inside of it.The bird chirped to the other birds,motioning them to help it bring in the mail.From inside,they heard a clatter followed by yelling.From inside, a scene from a cartoon played.A tall,brown stallion was chasing a small,white mare whom held an alarm clock in her hands.Both of whom were in their pajamas which was normal,considering they had just awoken.Their little game of chase had ended when a knock came from the door."You win this round,Whirl."The stallion said as he walked over to the door.The little mare flicked her tail and walked back to her room. The stallion gripped the door handle as he looked through his peering hole.What he saw made him immediately unlock his door and swing it open.On his porch,stood a cute grey mare with a pitch black mane.Her brilliant blue eyes pierced him intensely as she smiled.
"Hello Code,may I come in?"She asked.
Whirlwind looked around her room as she shut her door.There were pictures of dragons everywhere,as it fit her fantasies of becoming a dragon.But there was one dragon that she admired above all else.Spike.Whirlwind didn't just admire him because he was a dragon, but because he was the kindest dragon in all of Equestria.He had been the number one assistant of the one and only,Twilight Sparkle,the only pony to be transformed into a alicorn.He had even helped saved the Crystal Empire twice!He was the coolest dragon,in Whirlwind's opinion.But nopony has seen him in a long time,only supposed sightings.Still,that didn't keep Whirlwind from imagining Spike coming and falling in love with her."One day.."Whirlwind said as she fell asleep.
"What brings you in town?"Code asked his former discorded self as they entered his living room.
"You know, stuff,and you can call me Codex now."She said as she sat down on the couch."But as for you, I had some dreams lately,and I was wondering if you have had any unusual dreams lately."Codex said,leaning in closer to him.
"No,none that I can remember."Code said,putting his tie on."Maybe its just you? Has anything changed in your lifestyle?"Code asked as he put his suit on.
"Not really,although, I did eat more than usual yesterday."Codex said,scratching her chin.
"Well, how long are you gonna be staying?"Code asked,getting a specific necklace out of a custom made box and putting it on.
"Well, a couple of weeks.Everybody else at Crafty's have been annoying me lately,so I decided to come up and visit."Codex said,walking towards him.
"Well, can you watch over Whirl today?I got an important meeting today with the princesses and the bearers of the elements have to be there."Code said,securing the Element of Kindness on his neck with his tie.
"Sure, us girls will have so much fun!"Codex said,pretending to squeak.
"Great, gotta go, bye!"Code said as he rushed outside and took off.
"That idiot forgot his pants.Well, can't be helped."Codex said, looking through his mail."Bill,bill,bill,bill."Codex said,sighing."Maybe Whirlwind is up."She said as she walked towards Whirlwind's room."Whirls?"Codex asked,poking her head in.She looked at the bed, only to find a sleeping pony under the covers.Suddenly, Codex heard the door open.
"Codex, have you seen my pants?"
"Hope I don't wake anypony up."Code thought to himself as he walked through his front door and hovered over toward his room.On the way there,he saw Codex fast asleep on the couch.He stifled a chuckle as he entered his doorway.He suddenly yawned due to the exercises the princesses had put him through in case of King Sombra's return.The meeting itself was entirely on the recent sightings of Sombra's shadow moving towards Ponyvile.After the meeting,however,was the princesses exercises in case the elements can't be used.They had worked Code to the bone without so much as a break before sending him home.He hadn't felt the fatigue hit him until he saw the sweet comfort of his bed.He instantly curled on in bed and fell asleep.If he had been more aware,he would have seen his window open,and a shadow sneaking in.

Screams of ponies filled the air as Codex ran around."Got to get out of here before he gets me!"Codex thought as she passed by various other ponies,all of whom had terrified expressions on their face.Nearby Codex, a house exploded in a flash of purple fire.As the house was burning,crystals started to grow around it.In the flames,blood-red eyes appeared out of them and stared at Codex,whom was dashing past the house.The eyes growled as they emerged out of the flames.Codex had one goal in mind:Canterlot."Hopefully the princesses will be able to stop this menace."she thought as she began to take off,only to be back handed back to the ground.Before her,floated a brown figure."No."She managed to say as the figure grew closer.She tried to get up, but kept falling back to the ground.Soon, the figure was right above her, floating as he created balls of energy from his hands, which cleared the dust away."Code?"Codex said before being blasted.
"NO!"She screamed as she woke up,sitting upright and breathing heavily.
"Whats going on?"Whirlwind yelled,dashing into the room with a frying pan in her hands.Whirlwind looked at Codex and smiled.
"CODEX!"Whirlwind yelled as she dashed to Codex,who opened her arms for a hug.Whirlwind tackled Codex,and they both fell backwards onto the floor."Why didn't you tell me you were visiting?"Whirlwind asked,hugging Codex tightly.
"Because I wanted it to be a surprise!"Codex said,lifting herself up off the ground.Whirlwind suddenly felt something poking her stomach and jumped off her."Guess what I got."Codex said in a sing-song tune as she reached into her pocket.
"What?"Whirlwind asked,tilting her head to the side.Codex smiled and started to pull out something.Whirlwind's ear twitched as she heard a clatter."What was that?"Whirlwind asked,looking in the direction of the noise,which was Code's room.
Smile,Smile,Smile
"This is awesome,Code!',a cyan pegasus proclaimed,flying around.
"Yeah Code, you really outdid yourself!",a pink pony said,bouncing about.
"Yoo-hoo!", a yellow pegasus said,shyly as Code walked into the room,holding a tray of cupcakes.
"I'm glad you girls like my cupcakes,I made some more for ya."Code said as he put the tray down.Instantly, the six mares all reached for the cupcakes,each trying to get them.Code smiled as the mares ate his food,but the smile faded as the room darkened.In a flash, the six mares changed. Code blinked his eyes as each pony's throats were slit and blood gushed out. Code stepped back until he hit something behind him.He turned and faced his mirror,but flinched at his reflection.His mane was frizzy,his fur was a darker shade and bloody,and his pupils were slit."Finally, this dream gets interesting!."Code said,smiling in delight.
"Yes,finally,I was getting bored."A voice behind him said,followed by munching.
"Yeah,now we can have our fun."Another voice said,followed by more munching.Cody turned round to see Fluttershy and Pinkamena chewing on the cupcakes he had made,which had turned into pony cupcakes.
"I was wondering when you girls were gonna appear.Now,about them.Code pointed at the other members of the Mane 6.
"Forget them,,Fluttershy walked over to Code,I think its time the elements of kindness make some kindness themselves.Fluttershy said,licking her lips.
"You kids go have fun,I'll clean up here."Pinkamena said,giving Fluttershy a wink as Code led her into the next room.

Code awoke in his bed.What a dream,he thought.After me and Flutershy made some kindness,Pinkamena greeted us with freshly made cupcakes,and they tasted heavenly.He looked around the room for a moment before looking out the window."Crap, we forgot to close the window."Code said as he got up and walked over to the window.As he shut it,he heard a mumbled yell,coming from the living room.Though muffled,he knew it was Codex,so he walked to his closet and looked in the mirror.Instead of his reflection, a darker looking Code was in place.
That dream was perfect,was it not?"The darker Code said."We can make it happen,but with the others."He said,while painting an image in Code's head.
"It would be perfect,but Whirls wouldn't like it."Code said, getting the image out of his head.
"Fine, then at least make Codex your,you know."The darker Code said,giving Code a wink.
"T-Thats us!Wouldn't she hate us anyways?She is the discorded version of us anyways."Code said with a blush.
"Whatever,we both know you like her.Anyways,off to work!"The darker Code said as he disappeared,leaving Code's reflection behind.
"Does she really like me?"Code asked himself before fainting,knocking over a lamp as he fell.

Code awoke with a jolt.For once in his entire life, he was confused.He shook his head,trying to forget his dream.While asleep,he didn't dream of Fluttershy or Pinkamena,but rather a grey stallion with an obsidian mane charging at him.Before Code could react though, he was impaled by the stallion's curved horn. Even though Code knew he was dreaming,it felt so real as the stallion twisted his horn inside of him.Code actually felt pain.He winced as the stallion pulled his horn out,before punching Code.Code fell to the floor,one hand holding his wound while the other held his chin.He slowly opened his eyes,only to be faced with blood red eyes,staring into his.Suddenly, he felt the stallion's magic surround him, restricting his movements.The stallion smirked as he knew Code was in pain and entirely at his mercy.He pulled his claw back and bared his fangs at Code,right before plunging his claw into Code's open wound.The pain Code felt was unbearable.He couldn't manage to put the pain into words, so he just yelled in pain.He tightly closed his eyes as the stallion pulled his claw out,along with Code's small intestine.Code couldn't even feel anything anymore,save for immense pain.Code heard a sharp rip as he opened his eyes,only to be met with the stallion tying his intestines into a noose.Code looked down at his wound,which was now gushing blood out,staining his fur.Suddenly,all his fur began to change the same color as the stained part.Code looked at the few strands of hair in his vision as they turned blue.He shut his eyes as they changed from a dark brown to a boy blue.Funny,Code thought,this is usually painfully.Must be the fact that I can't feel anything besides that giant hole in my gut.Code struggled to move,but remembered the aura around him.The stallion put the noose around Code's neck and tightened it.
"Damn, need more."The stallion mumbled under his breath as he held the noose up with his magic.
"Need more what?" Code asked,feeling his colors change.The stallion looked up with anger in his eyes.
"What do you care?It won't matter long."The stallion said.
"It's my job.If I'm going to be killed, I might as well know what is needed to kill me.Speaking of which, may I have your name?"Code asked,as calmly as possible.The stallion looked up at Code, confused.
'Why would this pony, whom he was trying to kill,want to help him?'He thought as he looked at Code,whom had a smile on his face.
"If you need more things to tie me up, I suggest my large intestine.If your using that tactic,might as well use it all.Code suggested, snapping the stallion out of his train of thought.
"Why are you helping me?I'm trying to kill you."The stallion said, looking at Code,confused.
"If somepony is in need of help, I have to help them.As for the killing part,I don't blame ya."Code said, shrugging."After all, I'm a weird pony."
"Huh, been there,done that.Oh and you will address me as King Sombra."The stallion said,glaring at Code.
"Sombra eh? So you're the Sombra that tried taking the crystal empire back."Code said,recalling that segment in class.
"They should have an entire class based on me!"Sombra exclaimed.Suddenly, the world around them began to crack.
"Oh, looks like I'm waking up."Code said,seeing himself begin to fade out.
"Next time you fall asleep,Sombra said as Code's vision blurred,"We will have lots more to talk about."
As the memory of the dream ended,he suddenly felt a sharp and quick pain in his gut, the same place where Sombra had impaled him.It was sudden and left quick,but it sure left it's mark on Code.Code was able to stand up, difficult at first, but when he regained his balance, he looked at his mirror."Was it really a dream?"Code asked himself as he lifted his shirt to inspect his gut."Guess some part of it wasn't."Code said as he spotted a scar running across his gut, in the same place where he was impaled.Code shrugged it off for now as he looked out the window.Nearly no time had paced since he had fell asleep suddenly.Suddenly,his door was kicked down as Whirlwind and Codex burst through it,both holding frying pans.
"HIYA!"They exclaimed as they tackled Code,pinning him to the floor.
"Who are you, and how dare you break into a bearer of an element's home?"Codex yelled as she looked in his face,a small blush on her face.
"Where is Code anyways?"Whirlwind asked,giving Code a dirty look.
"What are you girls talking about?It's me,Code!"Code exclaimed,trying to get up, only to be pinned down by Codex.Codex got in his face and looked him in the eyes.
"Nice try, but Code don't have red eyes."Codex said
."What? Lemme see."Code said.
"Whirls,get me a mirror."Codex said,pointing to a hand mirror.
"Sure."Whirlwind said,getting up to get it.
"No need Whirls,I can see them in her eyes."Code said,looking at his reflection in Codex's eyes.
"Now, please get off me Codex, I need to get to work."Code said,pushing Codex off."Sorry about the roughness, but duty calls!Talk to you guys later!"Code yelled as he dashed out of the house, leaving Whirlwind confused and Codex blushing furiously.
