Many powerful unicorns have gone or will go mad,
Trixie and Sunset Shimmer being recent examples,
Though none have ever been quite as powerful as Starswirl the Bearded,
None have ever gone quite as mad either,
This is his stor- "Discord get out of my room!"

"Why?" Discord said with a bit of tease in his voice, realizing he was already annoying me.

"I'm writing down history here," I said in a matter-of-fact voice hoping to deter him with making it sound extra boring.

"On what?" Discord asked, realizing how much he was annoying me and knew if I was doing it couldn't be that boring.

He had started floating around, running his claws down my face in a gentle, seductive way that was both calming yet terrifying at the same time.

"Starswirl's life..." I said cautiously, knowing Discord would not approve of this topic.

"You mea-" Discord managed to speak before I cut him off.

"OUT!! You'll spoil the ending," I demanded

"Starswirl is-" He barely managed before

*SLAM* went the door quickly after I had shoved him out.

Where were we, oh right,
This is his story, read with care,

"Hi Lauren, nice to meet you Starswirl!" I exclaimed, happy to see my friend and to meet her young son, who had a dark blue coat, a short white mane, and was surprisingly unicorn instead of an alicorn.

"Sorry about him, this is his first time out of the Immortal Realm. Starswirl, say 'Hello', this is Kiki, she is the goddess of harmony, in the same way I'm the goddess of creativity." Lauren said sweetly, as Starswirl hid underneath her.

"HellothisisKikisheisthegoddessofharmonyinthesamewayI'mthegoddessofcreativity," said little Starswirl in one breath with amazing precision for his age and speed he was speaking at.

"Starswirl!" Exclaimed Lauren with a stern but kind motherly voice as I died with laughter nearby, "Stop it! You're just encouraging him!"

"Sorry, shall we go in too eat?" I asked, not sounding sorry at all while leading them into Canterlot Castle for a delicious lunch of daisy sandwiches, chocolate chip cookies, and soda.

"Kiki, I don't mean to impose but, will you teach my son magic, I know many have asked you too because of your vast powers, but you always turn them away because they lack something!" Lauren said tentatively. Hoping her son could be the first living being that Kiki would accept as an apprentice.

"I was waiting for that, your son is not lacking what most lack, which is creativity and the ability to have a blatant disregard for any and all logic at any given time, but just how powerful is he?" I asked as Starswirl was making our plates and silverware dance.

"Starswirl cut that out! He turned me into giant orange yesterday and an apple the day before that, but I still had my magic, wings, and legs, so I was able to turn myself back. Not to mention the time he turned a bully who is, I mean was older than I am into a baby, they are still trying to reverse that spell!" Lauren said with a beam of hope in her eyes, realizing that her son would make history.

"Travel between the Immortal Realm and Equestria is hard and cannot be done more than once a day, he would have to stay here every hour of almost every day, except for holidays and visits." I warned her, "but I guess you could always stop his lessons whenever you wish."

"He is too much of a hoofful anyway," Lauren said in her joking tone, Starswirl glared at her with quite the intensity after this comment, even though he knew she was joking. This caused some giggles to escape my mouth.

"It's settled, we shall start the day after tomorrow!" I said with a clap, excited to have finally met a powerful magic bearing being that was NOT uptight and could have fun. Starswirl could not have had a greater expression of joy on his face.

*Present Day*

"What art thou doing sister!" said Luna, bursting through my room's doors.

"Let me guess Discord told you I was doing something illegal?" I said knowing Discord all too well. I leaned back in my chair knowing, that regardless of what he said, somepony would almost always check whether or not what Discord said was true, no matter what the cost.

"Making plans against me and Tia none the less," Luna said with concern, her sister had attacked Equestria before but it was because of her and Celestia...

"One, you two have not done anything that would cause me too turn against you. Two, you and I both know I do not need a plan to defeat you or take over Equestria. Three, I absolutely HATE plans." I said not even trying to hide my disgust of somepony mentioning the improbable idea that I would be using something as boring as a plan.

"Then what are you doing?" asked the dark blue alicorn, with mild concern, probably due to my tone of voice.

"Recording as much of Starswirl's history as I can remember, for future generations!" I exclaimed, with too much excitement for something that seemed so boring and unusual for a draconequus, or anyone really, to do.

"Okay... It is time for lunch anyway, we have visitors from the Griffon Kingdom today, I do not belive showing off our sister, who happens too have a griffon arm, would hurt our chances at renewing the treaty between our kingdoms." said Luna, remembering that, for as far as she could remember, I had never been thoroughly sane.
