//-------------------------------------------------------// A New Friend -by Silver Wishes- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 It's a sunny after noon in Equestria, after many travels, Muyo finally finds a place to live, to call home, Pony Ville. He's sitting by himself in one of the train carts, his bag is filled with his favorite belongings and a lot of bits to spend, the bag he carries looks simple and funtional and it was a gift from a friend in another kingdom, far away from Equestria. He doesn't know what to expect or find but he's used to it by now. He looks out the window and sees Pony Ville in the near distance. "That must be it" He thought. He feels an electric-like sensation in his heart due to the excitement. After an hour the train stops, all ponies on board stand and grab their bags, Muyo does so as well. After stepping out of the train, he looks around, the first thing he had to do was find the pony who sold the house to him prior to coming here, luckily he was waiting near by. "Excuse me sir, are you Muyo?" A brown pony asked him. "Yes that would be me, you must be the seller?" Muyo answered him then asked. "Then follow me, i'll show you the house" He said to him. Muyo follows him, after six minutes of walking they reach it. "Here it is, nice isn't it?" He asked him. "It's pretty good" Muyo answered. Muyo spots the library that looks like a tree. "Is that a house?" Muyo asked while pointing at the library. "Yes, that's Golden Oaks Library, it's recent owner is Twilight Sparkle, she moved in after Nightmare Moon was defeated the night before last night" He explained. "Nightmare what?" Muyo asked with a confused look. "Nightmare Moon, you never heard of her?" He asked him. "No" Muyo answered bluntly. "Lucky you" He said. They enter the house, Muyo inspects every room and detail, he pays the seller then purchases furniture, it took the rest of the day to put everything where it goes, later that night, Muyo goes to bed and relaxes. Next morning, Muyo has breakfast and washes up. "Now that i'm awake, i should look around town" He thought. He leaves the house and walks around town, looking at the sights, his distraction causes him to bump into Twilight, she drops her books. "I'm sorry! I wasn't watching where i was going, you ok?" Muyo asked her. "I'm ok, i wasn't looking either" Twilight answered. "Here let me get those books" He said. "It's ok, i can-" She tried to say. Muyo picks up every book except one, they both try to pick up the last book at the same time, causing Muyo to blush a little. "Uh, here." He says after softly pushing it to her. "Thank you, again sorry for bumping into you" Twilight said. "Fault is mine" He says. "Your both at fault, can we go now?" Spike rudely says then asked. "Spike!" Twilight raised her voice at him. "Sorry Twilight" Spike apologized. Muyo chuckles slightly. "What? What's funny?" Twilight asked. "You just reminded me of somepony i knew, well i must go, i am yet to see the rest of the town" Muyo said. "Oh your new here?" Twilight asked. "Yep, that's why i'm exploring" He answered. "You should visit Sweet Apple Acres and Sugar Cube Corner, but watch out for a pink pony, if she sees you and finds that your new, she'll throw you a party" Twilight told him. "A party?" Muyo asked. "Yes, she did it to me when i first came a couple of days ago" Twilight told him. "I see, i'll stay viligent, see ya" Muyo says as he walks away. "Ok, bye" Twilight responded. "Who was that?" Spike asked. "Dunno, but he was nice" Twilight answered. "You two kept yammering" Spike said. "Come on Spike, he was sociable, i'm trying to learn more about friendship, he was a friendly pony, oh darn i forgot to ask him his name" Twilight told him. A little later, Muyo heads to Sweet Apple Acres, he walks on a road leading to said farm. "Wow, look at all these trees, i'm craving apples now" He said in his head. As he approaches the family home he stops, he looks around, AJ spots him and approaches. "Hi there partner, what brings y'all to the apple family farm?" She asked him with a southern accent. "I moved in yesterday and a purple unicorn recommended visiting this here farm" He answered. "Oh you must've met Twilight Sparkle, she's a friend of mine, my name is Applejack, what's yours?" She asked. "My name is Muyo, you have any apples i can eat?" He asked. "Sure thing, we got apple pie, fritters, caramel apples" She answered. "I'll try a fritter" He said. "Alright!" She shouted. She drags him to her house, he meets Big Mac, Applebloom and Granny Smith. "Nice meeting you" He said. After a few minutes, she serves him a fritter, he eats it with cider. "I don't think i ever had a better apple based meal" He said. "Thank y'a kindly, where are y'all going to next?" She asked. "Sugar Cube, after that home" He answered. "Your welcome here anytime" She tells him. He leaves and goes to Sugar Cube Corner, he enters. "Hi! Welcome to Sugar Cube Corner, how may i help you?" Pinkie Pie greeted happily. "Got any milkshakes?" Muyo asked. "Sure! Chocolate or vanila?" Pinkie asked. "Chocolate" He answered. After two minutes she gives him the shake. "Thanks" He says. He pays and starts drinking, Fluttershy enters, she approaches Pinkie and gets a shake but she slips, Muyo instantly stops her fall and catches the shake. "Careful miss, here" He says while giving her shake. "T-Thank you... I'm ok" She said. Pinkie gets excited. "You were amazing!Youwerefastenoughtocatchherandtheshakedidyouseeherface?yoursocoolican'tstopthinkingaboutit!!" She said quickly. "Calm down ma'am, it wasn't that big a deal, i just couldn't let a lady fall" He said. "A gentlecolt too?!" She asked. "Yeah, thanks again for the drink, here's a tip" He said while giving her a tip. He walks home but is stopped by Rarity. "Excuse me fine sir, i'm Rarity, i saw you walking by and i must ask, could you come to my shop? I wish to measure your figure" She asked him. "For what?" He asked her. "For a new line of stallion clothes" She answered. "I don't know, i'm not into fashion" He said. "Please?" She asked. "Oh alright, only because you said please" He said. He is taken to her shop where he's measured, after that was done. "I say you have a nice figure, red and blue look great on you" She said. "Thanks i guess, may i go now?" He asked. "You may, thanks again, you handsome stallion" She answered. Muyo heads home, he enters his house, Pinkie didn't throw a party like Twilight said much to his relief, he goes to bed and sleeps soundly for the night. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 A couple of days later, Twilight recieves two tickets to the Grand Galloping Gala while helping AJ take some apples to a cellar, while the bickering over it by AJ and Rainbow Dash was happening, Muyo was at town reading about said Gala. He notices Twilight being pressured by her friends over it, he wanted to help but he didn't want to be nosy either, after he heard Twilight say that she'll figure it out, he approached her. "What was that about if i may ask?" He asked. "Oh hey it's you, i never got your name" Twilight said. "I'm Muyo, not to be nosy but what was that about?' He asked. "I got two tickets for the gala but all my friends want to go, they all have good reasons" She explained. "And their reasons are?" He asked. "Why do you want to know?" She asked. "I want to help, i met them too, so would you let me help?" He explained then asked. "Sure, although i can't think straight when i'm hungry" She said to him. "Neither can i, there's a restaurant near by, let's go there" He told her. Twilight nods and they go to that restaurant, she tells him their reasons. "I understand these reasons but i have to wonder, are they sure that what they are hoping to find will be there?" He asked. "What do you mean?" She asked. "First of all, how is AJ so sure that she'll get any buisness in the gala? I heard that Canterlot ponies are snobs" He asked then said. "I'm from Canterlot" She said. "You are? I'd ask more but let's focus on the matter at hand" He said. "Right... Muyo... Am i snobbish? Or anything like some of the sophisticated ones?" She asked. "Honestly, your not, just be yourself Twilight, that's what's important" He told her. "Ug your so cheesy" Spike said. The waiter comes and asks if she made her decision, she shouted that she can't. "He just wants your order" Spike said. She places her order, Muyo orders a HLT, hay lettuce and tomato sandwich, the waiters asks about the rain, they look up and sees the Rainbow Dash opened a hole in the clouds. "Hi again Muyo and best friend i ever ever had, enjoying the sunny weather?" She asked. "How did you?" Muyo asked. After a conversation RD closes the hole, Muyo warned her not to but got rained on. "That is why i advised not to close it" He said. Rarity approaches and takes them both to her home. Both dry up but get Rarity wet. She doesn't mind it but she has Twilight wear an outfit, even had Spike and Muyo wear outfits for the gala as well, Spike leaves but Muyo stays, he suspected Rarity's true intentions, Twilight figured out her plan as he figured, AJ pulls Twilight when she approached the door, Twilight runs in frustration. "Rarity, Applejack i think your both pushing it, she told me your reasons but please cut her some slack" He told. "I appreciate your concern, really i do, but i must get that ticket" AJ said to him. "It's kind of you to be helping Twilight, but i must meet my one true love" Rarity said. "I think your getting your hopes way too up" He thought. He catches up to Twilight who just found Fluttershy cleaning for the ticket, then Pinkie came, after a shout and Pinkie telling everymare about the gala, Twilight and Spike start running, Muyo follows, once Twilight and Spike got cornered, Muyo threw a teleport crystal that caused Twilight to teleport home with Spike. Twilight has Spike close everything, Muyo makes it in time and helps, then Twilight sees her friends. After a friendship lesson and Celestia sending them and Spike tickets they treat Twilight for dinner, they invite Muyo for being a good friend. "Sorry that you didn't get a ticket" said Rarity. "It's ok, i'm happy that you all got the tickets" He said. "Your a good friend Muyo" Twilight said. "Why don't you hang with us? Better than being by yourself" Rainbow Dash asked. "I'd love too" He said. Twilight thinks for a bit, she writes a letter to Celestia, it reads. *Dear princess Celestia, could you give my new friend Muyo a ticket too? He's been a great help to me, he's very kind too, i think i could learn something from him, your faithful student Twilight Sparkle* //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 Sometime later, Muyo is relaxing at Sugar Cube Corner, reading a news paper. Suddenly he heard Rainbow Dash shout stampede, he looks to see a pack of cows running towards the town, ponies were in a panic except himself until AJ saved the day. "Wow, she's good, real good" Muyo thought. A couple of days after that, everypony gathered to celebrate her good deed, Muyo didn't like how Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy interrupted her. "Ugh, let her talk, rude much" He thought. Twilight raged quit thanks to Mayor Mare, she stood next to Muyo, he was in between her and Comet Tail. "I wanted to hear your speech" He whispered. "Thanks for saying so" She whispered back with a cheered up tone. Mayor Mare shouted AJ's name and lifted the curtains but she wasn't there, Spike awkwardly stopped his cheer. "Where is she? It's not like her to be late right?" Muyo asked mentally. Suddenly AJ is heard approaching and get's on stage. "AJ looks messy, did she get any sleep?" He asked mentally again. Applejack thanked the mayor for the award thingy as she called it, started zooming at her reflection on the trophy like an idiot. "What... Is she doing?" He whispered on Spike's ear. "I have no idea" Spike answered. Applejack leaves while dragging the trophy. Later, Muyo and Twilight go to the apple family farm to find Applejack, they notice her apple bucking but visibly tired, they approach her. "Applejack what are you doing?" He asked her. Applejack explains to them that it was Applebuck Season, which is what her family calls harvest time. "Why are you doing it alone?" Twilight asked her friend. "Cause Big Mac hurt himself" Applejack answered. "What about those relatives i met when i first came? Can't they help?" Twilight asked her. "Relatives?" Muyo asked. "Oh right, you weren't there, i met several of AJ's apple based relatives when i first visited" Twilight explained to him. "I see, so where are they?" Muyo asked AJ. "They were only here for the apple family reunion, they actually live all over Equestria and are busy with their own crops, so i'm on my own" Applejack explained. "Wow, i haven't been on a family reunion in a long time" Muyo said. "Do you... Want some help?" Twilight asked her. "Help?! No way, no how" Applejack answered. "But there's no way you can harvest all these apples by yourself" Twilight told her. "Not to mention the lack of sleep" Muyo added. "Is that a challenge?" AJ asked. "No" Twilight answered. Applejack leaves to help Rainbow Dash. Twilight asks Muyo to follow AJ so he can keep an eye on her, he sees her launch Rainbow Dash, poison several ponies due to bake bads and cause a stampede of baby bunnies, as hilarious as it looked, Muyo and Twilight decided that enough is enough. "This has gotten out of hoof, we gotta talk to Applejack now!" Muyo said to Twilight. "I know, come on, to the farm" Twilight said. On the way there. "I haven't seen a pony this stubborn in a long while" Muyo said out loud. Twilight slows down a bit. "I know now isn't a good time but i'm curious, you mentioned that me and Spike reminded you of somepony and that you haven't been on a reunion in a long time" Twilight said to him. "Yeah what of it?" Muyo asked. "Well, i kinda want to know more, if we're gonna be friends, i may as well get to know you" Twilight answered. Muyo thinks for a moment. "After this, we'll talk" Muyo said to her. Twilight nodded as they reach Applejack, Twilight tells her the trouble she caused because of her stubborn behavior, Applejack thought she finished and gloated but Big Mac showed her the rest of the trees which made her faint, she woke up and gave in. Muyo and the others help with the harvest, during a break, Applejack thanked us and apologized for her stubborness. Later that night, Twilight invites Muyo over for that chat she asked him for. "So what do you want to know?" Muyo asked. "For starters, where are you from?" Twilight asked. "Well i come from a country named Elysium, it's very far away, i was mostly raised by my mother with my siblings, Connor and Marina" Muyo told her. "I see, very foreign, what brings you all the way here?" Twilight asked. "I'm a traveler, so i've been to a lot of places you wouldn't believe, i do have a few souvenirs at home, even books" Muyo answered. "Ooh, books from distant lands? I like the sound of it, so you came to explore?" Twilight asked. "That and to settle in and... Find this one thing but i'm too embarrassed to say it out loud" Muyo answered. "You can tell me, how embarrassing could it possibly be?" Twilight asked. "One of the things i'm looking for is... A mare friend..." He said blushing. Twilight blushes. "I... See why you didn't want to say it... Found anypony... Yet?" She reluctantly asked. "I'm taking it slow, don't want to get ahead of myself, i'm not picking just anypony, it's got to be the right girl... I really shouldn't be telling you this, i should go" He said. "Wait! It's ok" Twilight said to him. "I really should go, it's late" Muyo says as he leaves. Twilight sighs. "What was that about?" Spike asked. "Shy i guess, Spike write a letter" Twilight told him. *Dear princess Celestia, i had a chat with Muyo just now and got to know a little more about him, seems that he's looking for a special somepony but stopped and left, saying that he shouldn't be telling me this, he seemed very shy on that subject, i did ask him if he's found anypony of interest, i don't know why i asked, it just happened. I do hope to learn more about him, he's a good friend but i'll avoid any unnecessary talks of... Whatever it is that they call it, your faithful student, Twilight Sparkle* Upon reading this letter, Celestia let's out a smile... //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4 It's another good day in Pony Ville, Muyo had just reached the park and rested under a tree, he saw Rainbow Dash fly by and heard Pinkie Pie calling her name and chasing her, he walked to where Pinkie Pie was. "What was that about?" Muyo wondered mentally. Twilight was reading a book a few miles behind him, she looked away from her book and noticed him. "Hello Muyo." She said. Muyo looked back. "Oh hi Twilight, didn't know you were there." He said. "Want to read with me?" She asked nicely. "Sure, i have nothing better to do." He replied. Later the same day, Muyo was on his way to the town square pavilion until he saw Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie prank Spike, he couldn't help but chuckle when they started laughing, afterward they started pranking the others and saved him for last. "Hey Muyo, could open this jar of peanut butter?" Rainbow Dash asked. Muyo acted like he was clueless and he devised a trick. "Sure, give it here please" He said. He opens it easily but the prank didn't work... Or so it seemed. "Thanks..." Dash said disappointed. She looked at the jar then suddenly the fake snake pops on her face, Pinkie Pie laughs. "He pranked you *Laughing* that was awesome, where did you learn that Muyo?" Pinkie asked. "Trade secret." He answered. Rainbow laughs. "Your good, wanna prank with us?" Dash asked. "Nah, i'm not into pranks." He answered. "Well if you change your mind let us know" Pinkie said as she left. The next day, while Pinkie was trying to catch up with Dash and Gilda, Muyo was at home, he felt a bit bored and couldn't seem to find a place to look up available jobs, he went outside to walk for a while and to gather his thoughts, he spots Twilight's house. "Hmm... I wonder if Twilight has any books on wild life." He wonders mentally. He walks there and knocks. "Oh hi again Muyo." Twilight greeted. "Hey Twi, got any books on Equestrian wild life?" He greeted then asked. "Sure, come in." She answers. She lets him in and gives him the book. "Let's see." He mumbles. Pinkie Pie enters a few minutes later and starts ranting about Gilda. "A griffon? I've never seen one." Muyo said. "Me neither." Twilight said. After Pinkie ranted, Twilight believed that Pinkie is just jealous which made Pinkie mad and she stormed out. "Twilight there's a chance that this Gilda is as mean as she says, you never know unless you meet her to be sure." Muyo said. "You may be right." Twilight said. "Twilight can i ask you something?" He asked. "Of course you can." Twilight answered. "Is it ok if i visit every now and then? I'm not being too clingy am i?" He asked. "Of course it's ok, your welcome here, you are my friend after all, what provoked that question?" She answered. "When i was a colt i was very insecure, even more so when meeting new ponies, so i asked." He explained. Twilight smiled at him. "You don't have to feel insecure around me, besides i like your company and your a good friend." She said. Muyo felt much better. "I like your company too, i'm gonna see this Gilda, that ok?" He asked. Twilight nods, then he leaves. "I'm liking him." Twilight said out loud. "He does seem rather fond of you." Spike said to her. "Think so?" Twilight asked him. Meanwhile, Muyo observes Gilda from afar but Pinkie doesn't notice, after seeing Gilda's behavior he realizes that Pinkie was telling the truth, after Gilda flew away Pinkie decided to throw a party which he attends, he witnesses the pranks on Gilda and her outburst, after she left and Twilight sent the report he approached Twilight. "Hey Twilight." He called. "Oh Muyo, i was gonna look for you, you were right, i should've thought of it earlier but i'm glad everything went ok." She told him. "Simple common sense." He said. "Remember, come by anytime." she tells him smiling. They party for the rest of the day... //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 5 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 5 It's another peaceful after noon, Twilight and Spike were practicing different types of tricks. "Growing magic, that's number twenty five, twenty five different types of tricks and counting." Spike said. Twilight blushes. "And i think this is the best trick so far, hello Rarity, what's that? Oh it's nothing just my awesome mustache." Spike said while looking at his reflection. "Sorry romeo, as attractive and enticing as you look it's just for practice and it's gotta go." Twilight said to him while magically removing the mustache. "Wait! Oh rats." Spike said. Twilight chuckles. Meanwhile, Muyo was walking and enjoying the fresh air, he sees Spike and Twilight and approaches. "Hey Twilight, Spike" He called. "Hello Muyo." Twilight greeted. "We were just talking about these twenty five different types of tricks Twilight did and counting." Spike said to him. "Really? Sounds great, wish i saw it." Muyo said. "I thought unicorns were only suppose to have a little magic that matches their special talents." Spike said. "They do?" Muyo asked. "True, for ponies who's talents are for things like cooking or singing or math, but what if a unicorn's special talent IS magic?" Twilight said then asked. "Like you Twilight, and you know a ton of magic." Spike said. "Oh Spike stop, i'm sure there are lots of ponies right here in Pony Ville that know just as much magic as me." Twilight said. "Are you kidding? I don't think there's another unicorn in all of Equestria with your kind of ability Twilight." Spike said to her. "I have to agree." Muyo said. Twilight smiles at Muyo and blushes. Suddenly they hear Snips and Snails yell and ran past Twilight and collided with Spike, they tell them about a new unicorn in town. "They say she's got more magical powers than any other unicorn ever." Snips said. "Really?" Twilight asked. "Aw no way, that honor goes to Twilight here." Spike said to them. Twilight blushes again. "Where is this unicorn?" Twilight asked. "I'm curious too." Muyo added. "She's in the town square, come on!" Snails said. Snips and Snails run off. "Let's take a look." Muyo said. "Yeah." Twilight responded. They reach the town square, a voice called out. "Come one come all! Come and witness the amazing magic! Of the great and powerful Trixie!!" The voice said as she appeared. The ponies in the audience were in awe, Muyo's eyes widen, the minute he saw Trixie his heart beat quick, he had never seen a pretty mare like her. "Whoa, she's so... Beautiful." He thought. "Watch in awe, as the great and powerful Trixie, preforms the most spectacular feats of magic ever witnessed by pony eyes!" Trixie said boastfully with fire works. "My my my, what boasting." Rarity said. "Come on, no pony is as magical as Twi... Twi... Twi... Whoa *Clears throat* Hey Rarity i uh... Mustache!" Spike said then left. "There's nothing wrong with being talented is there?" Twilight asked. "Nothing at all, except when someone goes around showing it off like a school filly with fancy new ribbons." AJ answered then said. "Just because one has the ability to do lots of magic does not make them better than the rest of us." Rarity added. "Especially when you got me around being better than the rest of us." RD said. AJ glares at her. "I mean, yeah, magic magic, boo!" RD said. "Well well well, it seems we have some neighsayers in the audience, who is so ignorant as to challenge the magical ability of the great and powerful Trixie?!" Trixie asked in third person. "Not me." Muyo said mentally. "Do they not know that they are in the presence of the most magical unicorn in all of Equestria?!" Trixie asked. "I know that i'm in the presence of the most beautiful mare." Muyo said mentally again. "Just who does she think she is?" Rarity asked. "Yeah! Since we all know that Twilight here is-" Spike said until he was interrupted by Twilight. "Spike! Shh!" Twilight whispered. "What? What's wrong?" Spike asked. "You see the way they reacted to Trixie? I don't want anyone thinking i'm a show off." Twilight whispered. RD flies up to Trixie. "Get off the stage Rainbow Dash." Muyo thought. "So great and powerful Trixie, what makes you think your so awesome anyway?" RD asked. "Besides looking better than you?" Muyo asked quietly. "Why, only the great and powerful Trixie has magic strong enough to vanquish the dreaded Ursa Major!" Trixie said. Fire works explode showing a bear. "What?!" Snips asked. "No way?!" Snails said. "Interesting." Muyo mumbled. "When all hope was lost, the ponies of hoofinghton had no one to turn to, but the great and powerful Trixie stepped in and with her awesome magic, vanquished the Ursa Major and sent it back to it's cave, deep within the everfree forest." Trixie said. "Impressive." Muyo said quietly. "Sweet!" Snips and Snails said in unison. "That settles it." Snips said. "Trixie truly is the most talented, most magical, most awesome unicorn in Pony Ville." Snails said. "No! In all of Equestria." Snips said. "How do you know!? You didn't see it! And besides Twimmmm!" Spike said until his mouth was zipped shut. "It's true my enthusiastic little admirers, Trixie is most certainly the best in Pony Ville." Trixie said. The audience stares. "Don't believe the great and powerful Trixie? Well then i here by challenge you pony villains, anything you can do, i can do better, any takers? Anyone? Or is Trixie destined to be the greatest equine who has ever lived?" Trixie asked. "I'd say your destined to be mine but that's too hasty." Muyo thought. "Please! She's unbearable, you gotta show her, you just gotta." Spike pleaded. "There's no way i'm gonna use my magic now Spike, especially since-" She said to him. "Hmm, how about? You?" Trixie asked pointing at AJ. Twilight gulps thinking it was her Trixie was pointing. "Well how about it hm? Is there anything you can do that the great and powerful Trixie can't?" Trixie asked. "I... I..."Twilight muttered. "Well? Little hayseed?" Trixie asked. "That's it! I can't stand for no more of this!" AJ said. "No more of what? She's not doing anything wrong, she's just boasting." Muyo said mentally. Muyo doesn't dare speak up or say what's in his mind because he doesn't want to hurt his friends. "You show her AJ!" Spike said. "Show her what? Why are you so hostile? So what if she's boasting?" Muyo whispered. "Can your magical powers do this?" AJ asked Trixie while preforming some rope tricks. "Top that Missy." AJ said to Trixie. "That was cool but not the greatest thing ever." Muyo thought. "Muyo are you ok? You've been quiet and looks like you want to say something." Twilight asked him. "I... Do but... I don't want to offend." Muyo answered. "Oh ye of little talent, watch and be amazed at the magic of Trixie." Trixie said. Trixie ties up AJ and puts a apple in her mouth with her magic. "Once again the great and powerful Trixie prevails." Trixie said. "There's no need to go strutting around and showing off like that." RD said to Trixie. "Oh?" Trixie asked. "That's my job." RD said to Trixie. "Oh it's your job? I thought your job was to clear clouds, not show off like an attention...!" Muyo said in his mind. "Muyo? You are starting to worry me, let it out." Twilight said to him. After RD finished her stunts. "They don't call me Rainbow and Dash for nothing." RD said. "Oh for!" Muyo said mentally and resisted the urge to shout. "When Trixie is through, the only thing they'll call you is loser." Trixie said. She uses her magic to make Dash spin. "Seems like anypony with a dash of good sense would think twice before tussling with the great Trixie." Trixie said. She makes a lightning cloud appear and strike Dash's flank, causing laughter from the audience. "What we need is another unicorn to challenge her, somepony with some magic of her own." Spike said. "Yeah, a unicorn to show this unicorn who's boss." RD said. "A real unicorn to unicorn tussle." AJ said. "Ok that's enough." Muyo said out loud. "Muyo is right, enough, enough all of you, i take your hint but Rarity is above such nonsense, Applejack and Rainbow Dash may behave like ruffians but Rarity conducts herself with beauty and grace." Rarity said. "Ooooh what's the matter? Afraid you'll get a hair out of place in that rat's nest you call a mane?" Trixie asked her. "Oh it is on, you may think your tough with your so called powers, but there's more to magic than your brutish ways, a unicorn needs to be more than just muscle, a unicorn needs to have style, a unicorn is not a unicorn without grace and beauty." Rarity said to Trixie. "Rarity won't let Trixie get the best of her, she's strong, she's beautiful, she's-" Spike said. Trixie used her magic to change Rarity's mane. "Quick!! I need a mirror!! Get me a mirror!! What did she do to my hair?! I know she did something terrible to my hair!!" Rarity said frantic. "Nothing." Twilight said. "It's fine." RD said. "It's gorgeous." AJ said "Aren't you suppose to be the element of honesty AJ?" Muyo asked her. "It's green." Spike said. "No! Green hair?! Not green hair!!" Rarity shouted. She runs off crying. "Such an awful awful color!!" She yelled. "Well Twilight, guess it's up to you, come on, show her what your made of." Spike said to Twilight. "What do you mean? I'm nothing special." Twilight said to him. "Your special to me." Muyo said. Twilight smiles at him. "Yes you are, your better than her." Spike said to her. "I'm not better than anyone." Twilight said to him. "You think your better than the great and powerful Trixie? You think you have more magical talent? Well come on, show Trixie what you got, show us all." Trixie asked her then said. "Who me? I'm just your run of the mill citizen of Pony Ville, no powerful magic here, i think i hear my laundry calling, sorry gotta go." Twilight said. She runs back home. "Once again the great and powerful Trixie has proven herself to be the most amazing unicorn in all of Equestria, was there ever any doubt?" Trixie said then asked. "I never doubted you for a second." Muyo said quietly. After the show, Muyo took this opportunity to talk to Trixie even though he felt like he should talk to Twilight. He watched her brush her mane from afar, Muyo felt a little shy at first, Snips and Snails approached her with a smoothie she asked for. "Here's the smoothie you asked, with extra hay just how you like it." Snips said. "Hmm, she like smoothies with extra hay?" Muyo thought. Snips and Snails ask her to tell them the story of the Ursa Major but she claims to be too exhausted so she tells them to begone till morning, Muyo approached after they left. "Hello miss Trixie." He greeted. Trixie looks at him. "You are that handsome looking stallion aren't you?" Trixie asked him. Muyo blushes. "You recognized me?" He asked. "Yes, you were literally the only good looking one in the audience, i saw those eyes of yours, if i didn't know any better i'd say you have a crush on the great Trixie." She explained. "A-Anyway... Um, I wanted to talk to you, if that's ok." He said to her. "Certainly, what can I? Trixie, do for you?" She said. "Well, I want know about..." He said with a shy look. "About how I vanquished the Ursa Major?" She asked. "Sure." He answered. "Well you see I... U-Uh..." Trixie said. "How did you beat it?" He asked. "I-I..." She stammered. Muyo could tell that something was up, he touched her shoulder. "It's ok, if it's too hard then don't, I won't mind." He said to her. Trixie looked at his face, his smile and kind eyes melted her heart. "Can I... Tell you something? Promise not to tell?" Trixie asked him. "Sure." He answered. "I... Made it up... The whole story of the Ursa Major... I made it all up... I'm sorry." She confessed. "Made it up to make yourself look better?" He asked. "Yes, pathetic I know." She answered sadly. "You aren't pathetic, truth is, I don't care, I'm actually interested in you, you are a beautiful mare." He told her. His words filled her heart with joy. "Nopony has ever been this kind to me before." She said. "First time for everything." He said. "So... You do... Have a crush...?" Trixie reluctantly asked. "I'll be honest... Yes, you are the first mare I've ever had a crush on." He confessed. "I thought you and that purple mare were a couple." Trixie said. "Huh?! No no we're just friends." He assured. He notices that it's getting dark. "I have to head home now, I'll see you tomorrow." He said as he leaves. "Yes, tomorrow, oh my gosh, I'm in love." She said. Later the same night Muyo goes to see Twilight, he hears Spike talking with her. "Twilight will you put down that book and just listen to me?" Spike asked. "Didn't you see how they hated Trixie's bragging Spike? If i go out there and show off my magic i run the risk of losing them as friends." "It's not the same thing Twilight, you'd be using your magic to stand up for your friends." Spike said to her. "No Spike it's exactly the same." Twilight said to Spike. Muyo simply hears their argument, after Spike left he entered. "Hey Twilight, can i talk to you?" He asked. "Sure... I need someone to talk to." She answered. "I know your afraid that your friends will hate you for showing off, but don't be, i seriously doubt they'll hate you for something so small." He said to her. "Small? But you saw them?" She asked. "They over reacted towards Trixie's boasting, that's all she did, she didn't do anything wrong, yes she was rather obnoxious but that doesn't mean you have to get on stage and humiliate yourself like that just because you hate it when someone brags about their abilities!!" Muyo yelled. "Your talking about AJ and Dash?" Twilight asked. "Yes, look, i won't ever hate you, neither will your friends, your too kind to show off like Trixie, one way or another you'll see that you have nothing to be afraid of." Muyo explained. "Ok, you really shouldn't bottle up your feelings." She said. "Bad habit, sorry for the outburst." He apologized. "It's alright... Don't hide your feelings from me, i won't hide mine from you." Twilight said to him. "Deal." He said with a smile. "Why don't you read this book with me? It's about the Ursa Major." She asked. "I'd love too." He replied. Meanwhile Snips and Snails bring an Ursa Major, Muyo and Twilight were reading till Spike entered. "Twilight!! You gotta come!! Quick!-" Spike said frantic. "I've already told you Spike, i don't want to show up Trixie." Twilight said. "No you don't understand it-" Spike said until they hear a roar. "Uh is that what i think it is?" Twilight asked him. "Majorly." Spike answered. "Oh no!" Muyo said out loud. The three of them run outside. The Ursa approaches Trixie and Snips and Snails. "Great and powerful Trixie, you got to vanquish the Ursa." Snips said to her. "Yeah, vanquish so we can watch." Snails said. "It took a lot of trouble to get that thing here." Snips told her. "Wait!! You brought this here?! Are you out of your little pony minds?!" Trixie asked them. "But... You're the great and powerful Trixie." Snips said. "Yeah remember? You defeated an Ursa Major." Snails said. Trixie tries to vanquish the Ursa but fails twice, they run away from the Ursa, it's roar woke the town, Muyo and Twilight run into Snips and Snails and asked them what's going on, Snips and Snails tells them that they brought an Ursa to town. "You what?!" Twilight asked. "Are you insane?!" Muyo asked. "Don't worry the great and powerful Trixie will vanquish it." Snails said. "I can't." Trixie said. "What!?" S and S asked. "I can't i never had, no one can vanquish an Ursa Major, i just made the whole story up to make me look better." "Made it up?!" S and S said. The Ursa approached, everypony coward in fear except Muyo, Twilight gulps, he puts his hoof on her shoulder. "I believe in you." Muyo tells Twilight. "You... Do?" She asked. Twilight does several magic tricks, first she used wind to make a lullaby to calm it down, then listed a water tank and emptied it then filled it with milk, then succeeds in putting the Ursa back to it's cave. "We knew you had ability but not that much." AJ said. "I'm sorry, please please don't hate me." Twilight pleaded. "Hate you?" The three asked. "Why whatever do you mean darling?" Rarity asked. "Well... I know how much you all hated Trixie showing off with her magic tricks and i just thought-" Twilight said. "Whoa whoa whoa magic gots nothing to do with it, Trixie is just a loud mouth." RD said. "Most unpleasant." Rarity said. "All hat and no saddle." AJ said. "So you don't mind my magic tricks?" Twilight asked. "Your magic is a part of who you are sugar cube and we like who you are, we're proud to have such a powerful talented unicorn as our friend." AJ said. "And after whooping that Ursa's hindquarters, we're even prouder." RD said. "You are?" Twilight asked. They nod. "I'm proud too." Muyo said. Spike asked how she knew what to do with the Ursa Major, she explains that she was so intrigued by Trixie's bragging that she was compelled to do a little reading up on them. "So it is possible to vanquish an Ursa Major all by yourself?" Spike asked. "That wasn't an Ursa Major, it was a baby, an Ursa Minor." Twilight explained. "That was just a baby?" Trixie asked. "And it wasn't rampaging, it was just cranky because somepony woke it up." Twilight explained. "If that was an Ursa Minor, then what's an Ursa Major like?" Spike asked. "You don't want to know." Twilight said. "You may have vanquished an Ursa Minor but you will never have the amazing, show stopping ability of the great and powerful Trixie!" Trixie said as she uses a smoke trick and runs away. "Trixie don't go..." Muyo said quietly. Trixie looks back, she felt him call for her but she ran away crying. RD tries to fly after her but Twilight tells her to let her go, someday she'll learn her lesson. Twilight punishes S and S by cleaning up Trixie's destroyed wagon, Muyo already started. Next day, Twilight sends her report, Muyo feels slightly depressed and is visited by Twilight after she told Spike to drop the mustache thing. "Muyo are you ok?" She asks. Muyo stays quiet. "I know your sad, but maybe you'll find somepony else, so cheer up." Twilight said to him. Muyo looks at her, he notices something he didn't see before. "Odd, Twilight is pretty too." He said mentally. "Let's go to Sugar Cube Corner, something sweet will help." She said to him. Muyo smiles. "Ok." He said. "You know, I like your smile." She said. "Thanks." He said. They both go to Sugar Cube Corner for a treat. Elsewhere. "It's only been a day... I already miss him... One day i'll return... Unless you come for me...." Trixie thought. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 6 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 6 Muyo has always loved dragons, he started writing a book of dragons months before he came to Equestria, during his travels he's encountered many dragons of all kinds in many many places. He hasn't finished it yet so he decided to show Twilight. Muyo was about knock when suddenly Twilight opened the door and nearly bumps into him. "Whoa! Hey Twilight." Muyo greeted. "Muyo? Glad you dropped by, smoke is spreading all over Equestria." Twilight told him. "What?! From where?!" He asked. "I'll explain in a moment, we have to warn Pony Ville." She said. "I don't think spreading panic is gonna help." He said. "Let's just go!" She raised her voice. They head to the park, Muyo can't help but wonder what's causing the smoke, when they arrive Twilight shouts. "Listen up! Smoke is spreading all over Equestria." She announced. They ponies see the smoke, they mutter with concern. "But don't worry, I just received a letter from princess Celestia informing me that it's not coming from a fire." Twilight said. "That's a relief." Muyo thought. "It's coming from a dragon." Twilight said. "A dragon?! Here?! There are dragons here?!" Muyo asked surprised. "Yes, come, let's head back to the library." Twilight answered him. "Go ahead! There's something I need to get." Muyo said to her. He runs off to his house to find his unfinished book, he hurries over to Twilight's place and arrives just after AJ asks why there's a full grown dragon in Equestria. "I'm here!" Muyo says as he enters. "Good, now to answer AJ, the dragon is sleeping." Twilight said. They all give her a "Huh?" "According to princess Celestia he's taking a nap, his snoring is what's causing all the smoke." Twilight said. "Why does this sound familiar? I swear there was something like that somewhere else, there was a samurai and this village, hmm." Muyo thought. Pinkie Pie says that the dragon should see a doctor since it doesn't sound healthy, Rarity adds that at least he's not snoring fire and asks what are they meant to do about it, Dash claims that they are meant to give him the boot. "We need to encourage him to take a nap somewhere else, princess Celestia has given us this mission and must not fail, if we do Equestria will be covered in smoke for the next 100 years." Twilight said. "America and fossil fuel in a nutshell." Muyo thought. "Talk about getting your beauty sleep." Rarity said. "Alright everypony, I need you to gather supplies quickly, we have a long journey ahead of us, let's meet back here in less than an hour." Twilight told them. "Ok girls and male buddy, you heard her, the fate of Equestria is in our hooves, do we have what it takes?" RD asked. AJ, Rarity and Pinkie Pie head out to prepare, Muyo notices Fluttershy looking nervous. "Fluttershy?" Muyo called to her. "Y-Yes...?" She asked nervously. "If it's too scary you can stay here, alright?" Muyo told her. "T-Thank you Muyo." She said. "We'll talk about it later, go prepare." Twilight said. Fluttershy heads home to prepare. "Maybe she should stay at home, I know how to handle a dragon." Muyo said to Twilight. "That sounds great but I think you and Fluttershy can combine your knowledge." She said. "True, but I don't want to push her." Muyo said. "We won't, go prepare please." She said. Muyo heads home to prepare but he still can't shake the feeling that Fluttershy is better off staying home, Muyo packs his dragon book, the Hylian Shield in case the dragon attacks, some rope and a crossbow in case of emergency, he meets with the others. "Alright guys listen up, I'm mapping out the fastest route but we all got to keep a good pace if we expect to make it up the mountain by nightfall." Twilight said. "M-Mountain?" Fluttershy asked. "The dragon is in that cave at the top." Twilight said. "Looks pretty cold up there." AJ said. "You bet it is, the higher you go the chillier it gets." RD said. "Good thing I brought my scarf." Rarity said as she puts it on. "Yeah that'll keep you nice and cozy." RD said with a chuckle. "I swear this whole dragon at the top of the mountain thing with the smoke and village is incredibly familiar, just without the samurai who's name escapes me." Muyo thought. "Hey Muyo, where did you get that neat looking shield?" RD asked him referring to the Hylian shield. "This? Just a memento from my time in Hyrule, it's fire proof so I figured I bring it." Muyo answered. While Twilight looked at the map Fluttershy asked if she could stay but Twilight insisted that she comes, saying that her talent with wild animals will come in handy, she tells her that Spike can handle the animals, Twilight walks away from Fluttershy but couldn't here Fluttershy. Muyo and Dash approach Twilight. "Are you sure you want Fluttershy to come along? I mean that pony is afraid of her own shadow, she's just gonna slow us down." Dash said to Twilight. "I have to agree." Muyo said. She's just a little nervous, once we get going I'm sure she'll be fine." Said Twilight. "Alright everypony, let's move out!" Twilight said. The approach the mountain base and hear a loud snore. "That's how it sounds like when a dragon snores." Twilight said. "I-It's so... High." Fluttershy said. "Well it is a mountain, I'm gonna fly up there and check it out." RD said. AJ grabs her and pulls her down. "Hold on now, I think we should all go up there together, safety in numbers." AJ said. "Oh alright." RD groaned. "I hear that the only thing that sparkles more than a dragon's scales are the jewels they use to build their nest, oh maybe if I play my cards right I can convince him to part with a few." Rarity said. "Sheesh, greed much?" Muyo asked mentally. "Welcome to my cave Rarity, care for a diamond? Rraarr!" Pinkie Pie said imitating the dragon. They laugh a little. "Girls this is no laughing matter." Twilight said. "Fluttershy, your the expert on wild creatures, and Muyo you know something about dragons, what do you think the dragon will be like?" Twilight asked. "Um Twilight, look." Muyo said to her pointing behind them. "Fluttershy?" Twilight asked. "Hey! What are you waiting for? An invitation" RD asked. "Oh! I think I have one in my bag." Pinkie said. "I-It's so... Steep." Said Fluttershy. "Well it is a cliff, you can just I dunno, fly up here?" RD said. "Come on Fluttershy, you can do it, flap those wings." Pinkie said to her as encouragement. "O-Ok..." She responded. Fluttershy successfully flies up but the snore scared her, causing her to fall on a bush. "We don't have time for this." Twilight groaned. AJ grabs the map, Twilight asked what she's doing. "I'll need this if I'm gonna take her around the mountain another way." AJ answered. "Around the mountain? That's gonna take them forever." RD groaned. AJ assures them that they'll be there lickety split, Rarity and Pinkie play a game which Rarity loses 35 times in a row, AJ finally makes it. "Told you it was gonna take them forever." RD whispered. "At least they made it." Muyo whispered. They continue onward until they reached a gap, they jump to the other side but Fluttershy stays behind, too scared to go over it, Pinkie jumps over it multiple times, convincing her to jump but she looks down and gets stuck. After getting her to their side they continue onward, Muyo still worries about Fluttershy. They continue through an avalanche zone, as they continue a leaf touches Fluttershy, causing her to scream avalanche. "Aw crud." Muyo muttered. An avalanche occurs, Muyo and the others avoid the falling rocks, Muyo spots Twilight and runs towards her while avoiding rocks, she shouts help and Muyo jumps to save her life, the rocks stopped falling. "Is everypony alright?" Muyo asked. "Thanks to you I am." Twilight answered Muyo while giving him a tight hug. Rarity shakes the dust off and puts on her extra accessory. "Please tell me I brought the tiara that goes with this." Rarity said. "I think we have bigger problems than making sure our hair boss match our horse shoes." RD said. Fluttershy apologizes. "Aw no big whoop sugar cube." AJ said. "Yeah, we'll just have to *sighs* climb over." Twilight said. "Let's go, I'll stay behind you in case you slip." Muyo said. Twilight and Dash reach the other side but Fluttershy slips, falling on AJ and Rarity, Muyo helps them up. They approach the cave while RD asks Twilight if she still thought that bringing Fluttershy along was a good idea, Twilight responded that they were about to find out. Twilight gives commands to each of them except Muyo, saying that it won't come to that because Fluttershy will do what she needs to do to wake him up and that between the two of them they should make him understand why he needs to go. "Is everypony ready?" She asks. They nod yes. "What about me?" Muyo asked. "I want you to come with us, with that shield of yours we'll be safe." Twilight answered. Both of them go inside the cave. "So, what is the best way to wake a sleeping dragon without upsetting him?" Twilight asked. "Honestly? There isn't." Muyo answered. "What do you think Fluttershy?" She asks but notices that Fluttershy is not with them. "Oh come on." Twilight groaned. They go outside and try to push her in but she says that she can't go in because she's afraid of dragon. "But you have a wonderful talent dealing with all kinds of animals." Twilight said. "Yes because they aren't dragons." Fluttershy replied. "Oh come on! We've seen you walk up to a horrible Manticore like it was nothing." RD said. "Really?!" Muyo asked surprised. "Yes because he wasn't a dragon." Fluttershy replied. "Spike is a dragon, your not scared of him." Pinkie said. "Yes because he's not a huge, gigantic, terrifying, enormous, smoke snoring, could eat a pony in one bite, totally all grown up dragon." Fluttershy replied. "But if you're so afraid of dragons, why didn't you say something before we came all the way up here?" Twilight asked. "I was afraid too." Fluttershy said. "All of us are afraid of that dragon." AJ said. "I'm not." Said RD. "Neither am i." Said Muyo. "Almost all of us are afraid of that dragon, but we got a job to do, so get in there with Twilight and Muyo and show them what your made of." AJ said. Fluttershy couldn't bring herself to go in, Twilight and Muyo go in without her, Twilight tries to explain to the dragon why he needs to go after introducing themselves, they fail to persuade so Rarity tries to charm him but her greed betrayed her and failed, Pinkie tried laughter but failed, RD gets impatient and flies to the dragon, kicking him and enraging him, he blows smoke at them, Muyo shields them with his shield but are pushed back. Fluttershy stands up to the dragon and chastised him like a mother to a child, making him cry but convinces him to leave. Finally the smoke cleared and they returned home, Muyo goes with Twilight to her home and writes the report. They see Dash attempt the world record but is scared by Pinkie Pie. "That was quite the adventure." Muyo says to Twilight. "It was... Thanks again for being there, you are sweet you know that?" Twilight asked. "Yeah." He answered while finishing the book. "What's that book about?" Twilight asked. "A Dragonology book I've been writing for years." He answered. "Can i see?" Twilight asked. "Not yet, it's not done." He answered. "Alright, let me know when it's done." She says to him. Muyo nods and heads home. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 7 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 7 It was a bright sunny day but sadly a storm was scheduled to hit, the pegasi where gathering the clouds in the sky, other ponies were removing loose branches so they wouldn't hurt others, even Muyo was doing his part unlike a certain unicorn who did the opposite by putting the branches back up and making them pretty, Applejack approached said unicorn. "Just take the broken limbs down Rarity." AJ said to her. Muyo was near but busy clearing the branches. "Don'y y'all care about nothing other than prettyfying?" AJ asked her. "Somepony has too, you are making an absolute mess of the town square Applejack." Rarity said. "Yeah well the storm is gonna make an even bigger mess if we don't pull all these loose branches so they won't tumble down on anypony." AJ explained. "I have to agree with AJ." Muyo said while removing loose branches on the tree. "Get down before you get hurt." Rarity said to him. Muyo jumps down and lands on his hooves. "You were saying?" He asked. "Anyway, i simply cannot imagine why the pegasus ponies would schedule a dreadful downpour this evening and ruin what could have been a glorious sunny day." Rarity said. "Think more practical like will ya? They accidentally skipped a scheduled sprinkle last week, so, we need a doozy of a downpour to make up for it is all." AJ explained. Just as she finished talking it started to rain. "I still don't get how the pegasus can move clouds, it violates the laws of something." Muyo said in his head. "Oh no! My wonderfully styled mane shall be ruined!" Rarity said. "You should've hurried up and finished the job already, like Muyo here." AJ said to her. Rarity panics and scatters about. "Help me!" Rarity shouted. Muyo and AJ looked around, Muyo spots an table and points at it. "There, good find Muyo." AJ said. "Muyo thanks." He thanked. "Hunkerdown to you're heart's content while we finish this." AJ said to Rarity. Rarity runs to it but sees mud. "Oh no no noooo." Rarity shouted. "What now?" AJ asked. "I prefer not to get my hooves muddy." Rarity answered. "Ugh, some mares, Rarity is just not my type." Muyo said mentally. "There's just no pleasing you is there? Everything's gotta be just so." AJ asked her. "Like a certain fandom i know." Muyo thought mentally. "Well how does muddying my hooves serve any useful purpose?" Rarity asked. "Y'all wouldn't know useful if it came up and bit ya." AJ said. *Rarity chuckled* "That doesn't even make any sense." Rarity said. They both start bickering then stare at each other. "What's say, we go our separate ways before one of us says something she will regret?" Rarity asked. "I reckon ya'll are gonna say somethin' you'll regret first!" AJ said. "Girls..." Muyo called out. "On the contrary, i believe it shall certainly be you, who says something you will regret first!" Rarity said. "Girls..!" Muyo called out again. "I am not saying anything." AJ said. "Nor am i!" Rarity said back. "Ya'll just be on you're way then!" AJ said. "After you." Rarity said. Both mares back away from each other, Muyo sighs until suddenly a thunderclap startled both mares, causing them to rush back to Muyo and held on to him tight. "Perhaps we should stick together for now and find some shelter." Rarity said shaking. "Uh-huh, perhaps we should... And fast." AJ said. Muyo could not stop blushing, being hugged tight by two ladies always excited him. "Let's find shelter." Muyo said feeling nervous. "Why do you sound so nervous? Never got touched by another mare before?" AJ asked teasing. "Hmm, now that i feel you Muyo there's something about you, oh but this rain doesn't let me think straight." Rarity said. "Can we please focus?" Muyo asked politely. AJ got under the table, suddenly they hear Twilight calling there names. "Applejack! Rarity! Muyo!" Twilight called. "Twilight?" The three asked. "Come inside you three quick." She said to them. The three run to her house, AJ and Muyo stopped at the entrance. "Let me clean my hooves first." Muyo said grabbing a nearby hose. "Is inside a tree really the best place to be in a lightning storm?" AJ asked. "It is if you have a magical lightning rod protecting you're home like i do, come on in." Twilight explained. "Look there a things in a slumber party i could never do, like make overs, see my mane? This style takes a lot of care to make it this way, it's a style based on an old friend of mine's hair." Muyo arrives home, he looks for a map of Equestria, after finding it he takes out a piece of Trixie's broken wagon. "If i can find the tracks and assuming she has obtained a new wagon, i'll have go to Hoofington to search." Muyo thought out loud. "Found you're new love already brother?" A green coated stallion asked behind him. "Hello brother, a little early for a visit." Muyo greeted. "So who's the lucky lady you have you're heart set on?" Connor asked him. Muyo looks out the window and sees the sky clear, he sees AJ and Rarity leave Twilight's house. "Which is it? The orange one? Or is it the white one? That purple one that's staring back and waving?" Muyo nods but notices the lack of ponies around. "What? Where is everypony?" Twilight asked upon noticing the lack of ponies around. They look around and see a pony close a window and a filly at a door who is suddenly pulled inside the house by a relative. They continue walking. "Is it some sort of pony holiday?" Spike asked. "Not that i know of." Twilight answered. Muyo remains quiet. "Does my breath stink?" Spike asked. "Not more than usual." Twilight answered. Muyo snickers softly. "Is it... Zombies?!" Spike asked alarmed. "Uh not very likely." Twilight answered. "Not likely but possible?" He asked scared. "No Spike, not possible, if there were we'd hear them by now, theoretically speaking." Muyo said to him. Suddenly they hear a *psst* they look around to see where the sound came from, it came from the door of Sugar Cube Corner, Pinkie suddenly pops up from the inside. "Twilight... Spike... Muyo, come here! Come! Here! Hurry! Before she gets you!" Pinkie said. Muyo and Twilight quickly get in, it was dark till Pinkie turned on a firefly lantern like a flashlight, how i do not know. "Who? The zombi pony?" Spike asked Pinkie. "Zombi pony?!" Pinkie asked. "Spike there are no zombi ponies." Twilight said. "Pinkie what are you doing here alone in the dark?" Muyo asked. "I'm not alone in the dark." Pinkie said. The room gets more light and they see Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity, Applejack and Apple Bloom behind them, Twilight gets startled and gasps. "Oh no, i'm surrounded by mares again, must not let lust get the better of me." Muyo said mentally. "Ok then, what are you all doing here in the dark?" Twilight asked them. "We're hiding from her." AJ answered pointing at a cloaked figure outside. They all take a peek through the window and see the cloaked pony digging at the ground, the cloaked pony glances at them making everypony but Muyo and Twilight flip out and hide. "Did you see her Twilight? Did you see her too Muyo? Did you see Zecora?" Apple Bloom asked. "Apple Bloom, i told you never say that name!!" AJ said to her. "Why does that remind me of someone? Hmm there was a scar, some magic and a name that started with v, if i can just remember." Muyo thought to himself. "Well i saw her glance this way." Twilight answered. "Glance eeevily this way." Said Pinkie. "And then a bunch of you flip out for no good reason." Twilight answered. "No good reason?! You call protecting your kin no good reason?! Why as soon as my sister saw Zecora riding into town she started shaking in her little horse shoes." AJ said. "Diiiiid noooot." Apple Bloom said while AJ was shaking her. "So i swept her up and brought her here." AJ said. "I walked here myself." AB said. "For safe keeping." AJ said. "Applejack!! I'm not a baby, i can take care of myself!" AB said. "Not from that creepy Zecora." AJ said. "She's mysterious." Fluttershy said. "Sinister." RD said. "I can see your pussy." Muyo said mentally. "And spooooky." Pinkie said. Twilight and Muyo take a look outside through the window and the others pile up behind them to see through the window, Muyo feels warm and nervous with all of the mares so close to his body, Zecora takes off her hood, revealing her face, the others except Muyo and Twilight gasp. "Will you cut that out?" Twilight asked irritated. "Just look at those stripes, so garish." Rarity said. "Oh sure make the white pony a racist." Muyo said mentally. "She's a Zebra." Twilight said. "A what?!" The others asked. "A zebra, and her stripes aren't a fashion choice Rarity, they're what she was born with, so please try to not to say anything racist please." Muyo explained. Rarity faints. "Born where? I never seen a pony like that in these parts... Except her." AJ said. "Well she's probably not from here, and she's not a pony, my books say that zebras come from a faraway land, but i've never seen her in Ponyville, where does she live?" Twilight answered, explained then asked. "That's just it, she lives in, the Everfree Forest!" AJ answered. As she says that they hear a loud noise in the kitchen, Spike had snuck into the kitchen to get some sweets while nopony was looking. "Spike!" Twilight shouted. "Sorry." Spike said. "The Everfree Forest?" Muyo asked. This was the first he's heard of it. "The Everfree Forest just ain't natural, the plants grow." AJ said. "Animals care for themselves." Fluttershy said. "That's perfectly natural." Muyo said softly. "And the clouds move." RD said. "All on their own!" Dash said with AJ and Fluttershy. Rarity faints again. Muyo raises an eye brow at Dash, AJ and Fluttershy with a very skeptical look on his face, Twilight looked unconvinced. "Why are you looking at us as if we were crazy?" RD asked. "Clouds move on their own, because they are pushed by the wind." Muyo explained. Dash opens her mouth but doesn't know how to respond. "And that wicked enchantress Zecora lives there doing her evil uh stuff, she's so evil i even wrote a song about her." Pinkie said. "Here we go." RD said. "I can see your pussy again." Muyo said mentally. Pinkie begins to sing her song, Muyo notices AJ shaking like a coward. "Am i the only brave one here? I thought AJ was braver than this." He wondered. After Pinkie finished her song. "Wow, catchy." Twilight said. "It's a work in progress." Pinkie said. "Like this story." Muyo whispered. "This is all just a lot of gossip and rumors, now tell me, what exactly have you actually seen Zecora do?" Twilight asked. "Well... Once a month she comes into Ponyville." Dash said. "Ooooo." Twilight mocked. "Then she lurks by the stores." Rarity said. "Oh my." Twilight said mockingly again. Muyo couldn't help but quietly chuckle every time Twi does that. "And then, she digs at the ground." Fluttershy said. "Good gracious... Ok i'm sorry, but how's any of this bad? Maybe she comes to town and visit?" Twilight asked. "Yeah, maybe she's just trying to be neighborly." AB said. "And maybe she's not lurking by the stores, maybe she's going to them, lurk-free, to do some shopping." Twilight said. "Agreed." Muyo said. "Yeah, everypony likes to shop, you know what i think?" AB asked till she gets interrupted by AJ. "Apple Bloom! Hush and let the big ponies talk." AJ said. "Ageist." Muyo said mentally. "I am a big pony." AB whispered. "What about digging at the ground? You got to admit that's weird." RD said. "What if she's digging for innocent creatures?" Fluttershy asked. "I'm sure there's an explanation for everything Zecora does, and if anypony here were actually brave enough to approach her, she would find out the truth." Twilight explained. "Exactly." Muyo said. "Well i'm brave enough, i'm gonna find out myself." AB whispered as she left. AB follows Zecora while Muyo and Twilight try to reason with the others. "You ponies are being ridiculous!" Twilight said. "Well i heard Zecora eats, hay." Pinkie said. "Pinkie i eat hay, you eat hay." Twilight said. "We all do." Muyo said. "Yeah but i heard about the eeeevil way she eats hay." Pinkie said. "Hey!! Where's Apple Bloom?!" AJ asked. "The door is open." Fluttershy said. "She went outside?!" Rarity asked. "And Zecora is still out there." RD said. "That silly little filly, i told her to stay put." AJ said. "Did you?" Muyo asked. "Spike, you stay here incase Apple Bloom comes back." Twilight said to him. "Will do." Spike said. The Mane Six and Muyo follow Apple Bloom who is still following Zecora, they catch up to them at the Everfree Forest, as they reached the poison joke, Muyo stops and avoids touching it, AJ calls Apple Bloom and tells her to come back, Zecora warns them about the "leaves of blue". "You keep your mumbo jumbo to yourself you hear?" AJ said. The other start saying stuff at once. "Oh brother." Twilight whispered. "Leaves of blue? She must be talking about this plant, hmm." Muyo whispered as he examined the poison joke. "Yeah! Back at you Zecora!! You and your lame curse are the ones who better beware." RD said. "And you, why couldn't you just listen to your big sister?" AJ asked AB. "I... I..." AB stuttered. "Who knows what kind of nasty curse Zecora could've just put on you?" AJ asked. "Just like in my song." Pinkie said beginning to sing. "You guys, there's no such thing as curses." Twilight said. "That's where your wrong Twilight." Muyo said but she didn't hear him. "Well that's interesting to hear coming from miss magic pants herself." RD said. "My magic, real magic, comes from within, it's a skill your born with, curses are artificial, fake magic, it's conjured with potions and incantations, all smoke and mirrors meant to scare, curses have no real power, they're just an old pony tale." Twilight explained. Muyo facehoofed. "The first four is correct but everything else isn't, Twilight one of these days i'll have to teach you the other kinds of magic i've learned outside of Equestria." Muyo thought. "Just you wait Twilight, your gonna learn that some pony tales really are true." AJ said to her. "She'll also learn what a curse really is and how it works, maybe i can request my friend to send me the cursed gear." Muyo again thought. Twilight approached him. "You ok? You look like you have something on your mind, you've been very quiet." Twilight asked. "I do have some stuff that popped up but i rather not say." Muyo answered. "You know you can share your thoughts, we are friends." Twilight said. "I know." Muyo said smiling. They both head home to sleep, Twilight starts having a dream about what happened that day, finally morning came. "Ugh, what a dream, curses smhurses." Twilight said upon waking. She gets up and approaches a mirror. "Whoa, maybe Zecora cursed my hair." She says jokingly. As she brushed she noticed her horn had blue spots and wobbly. "Or she cursed my horn." She said. She heads down stairs and searches her books for a cure. "No no no no! None of these books have a cure! There has to be a real reason for this, an illness? An allergy?" She asked. "A curse." Spike said. "I said a real reason, something that points to something real." Twilight explained. "How about this one?" He asked holding a green book. "Super naturals? Spike, the word super natural refers to things like ghosts and spirits and zombies, which are as make believe as curses, this book is just a bunch of hooey." Twilight explained. "But what if your wrong Twilight? What if it really is a-" Spike said till Pinkie bursted in with a swollen tongue saying curse which sounded like purse. "Pinkie?! What happened?!" Twilight asked. She tried to talk but she ended up spraying it instead of saying it. "Hey! Say it don't spray it." Spike said. They hear crashing outside, Dash crashes inside while trying to say what Pinkie was trying to say, Rarity enters. "I'm afraid i have to agree." Rarity said. They suddenly hear a tiny voice. "I hate to say i told you so Twilight but i told you so." AJ said. Twilight and Spike gasp. "It's a curse i tellsya." AJ said. "But... Fluttershy seems just fine." Twilight said. "Yes, there doesn't seem to be a thing wrong with her." Rarity said. Twilight asks her if she's ok, Fluttershy looks away, she asks if there's something wrong with her and she nods yes, she asks if she cares to tell them, after AJ asks what's wrong Fluttershy says in a deep voice. "I don't want to talk about it." Fluttershy said. Muyo enters and Spike bursts out laughing calling them funny names like Harity, Rainbow Crash, Spitie Pie, Appletini, Flutterguy but no name for Twilight because of her name. "This is no joke Spike, now start looking for more books so i can find a cure." Twilight said. "About that." Muyo said. "Help him find a book Muyo, please." Twi said to him. "Fine." He says shrugging. "I think we'll find a cure to this curse at Zecora's place." Dash said. "It's not a curse!" Twilight said. "Actually it isn't." Muyo said. "Did you find a book?" Twilight asked. "Not yet, but this doesn't look anything like a curse, it's more likely an illness." Muyo said. "At least somepony gets it." She said. "I agree with Dash, we'll go to Zecora's and force her to remove this hex." AJ said. "It's not a hex either!" Twilight shouted. They argue and Apple Bloom leaves again to fix things. "I don't care what you say Twilight, it's time to pony up and confront Zecora, come on girls, are you with me?" Dash asked. Pinkie and Rarity agreed but Fluttershy was reluctant. "How about you Applejack?" RD asked. They noticed her missing. "Or somepony stepped on her!" Rarity shouted. They checked their hooves. "Or sat on her?" Twilight asked. When Muyo saw their plots he got a slight nose bleed and collapsed. "Whoa! You ok Muyo?!" Twilight asked concerned. "I... Am ok... I'll be fine." Muyo answered. They checked Rarity's hair and she wasn't there, they leave to find them at Zecora's, Muyo goes with them. When they reach Zecora's home they accuse her of making Apple Bloom soup, after AB showed up she and Zecora explained everything and it turned out that it wasn't a curse, it was the poison joke, the cure was a bubble bath. After the bath Twilight invites Muyo over for a chat. "So you wanted to talk?" Muyo asked. "Yes, you were quiet, not to mention the fall." Twilight answered. "Oh yeah." Muyo said. "What was on your mind?" Twilight asked. "... There is such thing as curses, they are a specific kind of magic, also i didn't touch the poison joke because i never touch a plant i've never seen before, i had a hunch that it was the poison joke, i wanted to tell you but i'm too timid when i speak up towards a mare." He explained. "You sure they are real? And you know, you can speak your mind, if you disagree then say so, i am curious about your thoughts on curses." Twilight said to him. "Well i've encountered many during my travels, along with all kinds of magic i don't think you'll find anywhere in Equestria." He said. "Oooh, now i'm really interested." She said with a smile. They chatted for a while...
