“Outnumbered [Gore]”
[Spike's Point of View]
I looked out from behind the crates and tried to spot Twilight. I didn't see her or the other Elements of Harmony midst the crowd of ponies.
An entire fleet of dragons were surrounding the ponies and one dragon that was probably twice the size of me, questioned their captives.
“Where is the magical dragon?” the colossal dragon snarled at them.
Some ponies cowered in fear while others just stood there, paralyzed.
“I said,” the huge dragon repeated himself. “Where is the magical dragon?”
The colossal dragon was charging a fireball on its claws.Time was running out. I had to chose either to fight or flee from here. I looked over to Razre and he looked back.
“You have ten seconds to answer me before I burn you all!” the huge metallic chrome dragon with black spikes yelled at the ponies.
“10…”
Should we leave?
“9…”
…Or should we fight?
“8…”
We'd fight if we were stronger…
“7…”
But we have each other by our sides…
“6…”
We wield the Elements.
“5…”
And no matter how much the odds are…
“4…”
We are stronger than a thousand dragons…
“3…”
Because we are…
“2…”
The Draconic Elements.
“1…”
I sprang up from my hiding position, a fireball fully charged of magic on my claw. I launched it, with all the force I could gather and threw it at the giant metallic dragon.
“Score!” I yelled as my attack hit the colossal dragon on the back with a loud “CLANG!”
It seemed to do damage to the dragon, since it kept trying to regain its balance and kept hissing. It turned to face me, glaring while doing so.
“There you are!” it said venomously while all the ponies ran away in terror.
I held my ground. This dragon was huge! It was twice the size of me and from the looks of it, the dragon seemed to be a Metallic Dragon since it seemed to not have scales but metal. No problem, just send a lightning bolt charged with electricity. My thoughts were interrupted as a giant fireball was hurled at me. I managed to dodge it in time and I once again stood glaring at the huge dragon. The metallic drake laughed at my actions.
“Give up young one. You have no chance!” the drake said confidently.
“Probably not alone,” I said. “But I have three more dragons with the Draconic Elements.”
With a snap, Razre, Sapphire and Silvre appeared by my side, weapons in their claws and with menacing glares.
“It's four against a thousand,” the giant drake said while signaling for his fighters to surround us.
The entire fleet of dragons made a circle around us. We had no escape and I gave an order to my friends.
“Don't back down. Fight until your last breath,” I commanded.
The drake was taken aback by my boldness but then a wry smile came to his face.
“Then so be it…” he waved his arm to the right half of the circle and the fighters pulled out their weapons. The huge drake let him arm fall and the fighters ran towards us.
I let my adrenaline take over my instincts. I felt myself doing everything in a blur. I sliced through a sixth dragon with my razor, sharp claws. I left the seventh drake with a giant hole in its chest from a fireball that was formed in my palms.
Ten dragons attacked me at the same time with their swords and I summoned General Ignus's sword in time to strike the first three with a fast slice to their necks, ending their life immediately. Five dragons more came at me and tried to stab me at my chest. I dodged most of their swings until I made a false move and got a huge gash on my back. I ignored the pain and still fought for my life alongside the other bearers of the Draconic Elements.
[Silvre Lightbolt's Point of View]
Thunder was heard and another dragon was struck with my lightning. It seemed as if I was going to fight nonstop. There were lots of dragons as far as the draconic eye could see. We were outnumbered but something… or someone probably enchanted us. I felt my limbs getting lighter and stronger. I saw three dragons pouncing on Razre and I directed my claw to my new opponents. Immediately, I let lightning strike the three dead, giving Razre the ability to keep fighting.
One dragon came at me from behind me and I electrocuted him as soon as my claw came in contact with his scales. Two more came in my direction from the sky and I pierced the body of a dragon with my claw, killing it instantly while I grabbed the carcass and flung it at the still flying dragon.
Suddenly, from out of nowhere, a huge metallic claw grabbed me. I struggled from its grasp but I couldn't get free. I was brought forth to a huge dragon's face.
“Surprise!” the chrome drake said.
I tried to struggle but to no avail, I ended up getting my air knocked out. The metallic drake laughed at my attempt to get free.
“Don't try little one. You can't get free,” the metallic dragon hissed at me.
I snarled in response. The chrome dragon chuckled again and began putting more pressure on me.
“You know, there's only one thing I can do right now,” I said while he was suffocating me slowly.
He stopped suffocating me but still kept a firm grip on me. “Oh yeah? What's that?” he mocked me.
“This!” I smirked as I started to charge up with electricity. I soon felt strength to amplify my charge and I did.
“Huayra mazayk*,” I said the spell in a hushed tone.
The metal dragon looked at me in shock at what I was doing. The huge drake was going to throw me but it was too late, I made a huge explosion of charged electricity and then I saw the metallic dragon go from a shiny chrome to a charred, dark grey color.
BOOM!
I laid on the ground in a small crater and didn't see anyone else. I was getting worried and thought that I might have killed everyone, including the other Draconic Elements.
“Spike! Razre! Sapphire!” I called out.
“We're right here,” replied a deep, baritone voice.
I turned around and saw Spike and the other two in a green force field that was covering them. Spike stopped using the spell and the force field faded.
“What happened?” Spike asked.
“That huge metal dragon grabbed me and was suffocating me. I saved myself by using lightning,” I explained.
“I can tell. You left Ponyville's Town Square a wreck,” he said as he pointed to many charred, deceased bodies. “How did you even power up that much electricity in you Silvre?” he asked with curiosity.
I thought for a minute, trying to comprehend what happened while I was being suffocated by the metallic dragon. “I felt a newfound energy,” I said. “It was like adrenaline and I decided to use it but I didn't know I could cause that much damage,” I concluded.
“Don't worry,” Spike patted me lightly on my back.
I looked around Ponyville's Town Square and saw lots of charred corpses, some were even burning. Bones and skulls were almost everywhere. Blood was stained on the ground as well as for some buildings. The atmosphere smelled more of Ozone than clean air. Most buildings were charred with burn marks and some were consumed with fire. Almost everything of Town Square was ruined…
I felt on my knees, knowing that I probably killed Twilight Sparkle. Spike saw me and held me before I fell face-down.
“I destroyed everything,” I said in a cracked voice while lowering my gaze to the ground. “I probably killed Twilight.”
Spike didn't reply right away. “I know where she lives. Let's see if she - ” he was cut short as we all heard a loud, metallic clank nearby.
We moved to a hunk of charred, grey metal and saw the huge metal dragon barely alive. The metallic dragon seemed to try to move but it couldn't.
“You didn't win,” the now charred, grey metal dragon said in a raspy voice.
“We destroyed your entire fleet of dragons. How can we not win?” Silvre said venomously.
“Izm fra vizal**,” the dragon said in Dra’Voltn.
“Vizal dreik xun comull. Di izm fra vizal rewem Teqanrus terra. Di rii fä!***,” I spat.
The metal dragon's red eyes were full of hatred and it snarled at us before coughing up blood.
“You all lost,” he said as soon as he exhaled his last breath, signaling that he died. Suddenly, a beep was heard. Another one was heard and was picking up speed slowly.
“What's that?” Spike asked.
The beeping became faster and faster. My eyes widened as I realized what it was.
“Run!” I yelled and ran as well as the others behind me did as the beeping increased even more until…
BOOM!
An explosion happened. All of us fell face-down from the blast. Pieces of debris fell from the sky, some were even on fire! Spike tried to put a force field around us but he couldn't due to his lack of strength. A piece of blazing metal fell in front of me. I stood up and tried to help everydragon to their feet. Another piece of metal hit right on Sapphire's left side and she yelped.
“Spike, set up your force field,” I commanded to Spike.
“I can't. I don't have enough energy or strength,” he replied.
I ran to him while I dodged the metal debris. I put my claw on his shoulder and gave him energy. My turquoise aura seeped through his body. Soon I stopped giving him energy and he set up a green force field around us. He did it just in time before a huge piece of metal hit the field. Spike winced as huge metal pieces of debris hit his field.
The debris stopped falling. Spike stopped using his spell and sighed.
“Let's get Twilight,” Spike said hesitantly. “Hopefully, she stayed in the library.”
Spike started to walk away until I stopped him. That's when I noticed he had a huge gash on his back.
“Hold on, you're injured,” I said. “Aren't you in pain?”
“…I'm fine,” he said in a monotone voice.
Razre nudged me on the side. I looked at him and he shook his head, alerting me that I shouldn't bother him.
“Okay,” I replied softly.
Sapphire started coughing. Soon she coughed up blood.
“Are you okay Sapphire?” Razre and I asked in unison. We then both looked at each other.
“No. The metal piece hit my side and now it hurts a lot. I probably never should have taken it out,” the dragoness said.
“May I take a look at where it hit you?”
She turned around to her left side and I saw a deep gash that was oozing with blood. The metal debris was very sharp considering that it broke through all the dragoness' scale layers.
“I can't heal you, probably Spike can.”
Spike heard me and replied that he couldn't.
“We must take you to Twilight. She'll know what to do. Can you breathe alright?” Spike asked.
“It's getting harder to breathe,” she replied softly.
“The metal debris must've hit her left lung. I can't fix interior injuries,” said Spike defeatedly.
“Come on,” I said. “Let's get to Twilight's and see if she can help us.”
[Spike's Point of View]
I led them through the town to a plaza that had a huge tree in the center.
I got the doors and tried to twist on the knob but it wouldn't budge. I knocked on the door and see if Twilight would answer. After I knocked three times in a row, I decided to call out.
“Anypony home?” I yelled.
No reply.
“Come on Spike,” Razre said. “She probably isn't home.”
“I'll check one more time,” I said as I summoned General Ignus' sword for the second time. I looked at the sword and then the lock.
Breakable.
I swung my sword with all my might and prepared to hit the lock. At the same moment, the door opened and revealed a lavender mare with a purple and pink mane. I stopped my sword in mid-swing, the blade just inches away from the Alicorn's muzzle. I was frozen in place as she stared at me with a glare.
“Oh, hi Twilight! It isn't what you think it is… uh… nice weather we're having huh?” I stammered nervously as Twilight glared at me more.
Crap. Things are already starting to go bad…
