He was a simple pony. He went to school, hung out with friends, and did what anypony else does everyday. That is... Until he discovers something that he hates. An absolute abomination. The thing that he fears the most... His parents.
DeNile Juniper Blackthorn, or just DeNile, is a unicorn from Dodge City, who moved to Ponyville to be a bit closer to his friends. His five friends, who all happen to be mares, actually like him, unlike anypony else. He's not exactly manly, but not feminine either.
When he hears a few of the Royal Guards discussing a certain matter, he takes his friends with him to the outskirts of Equestria, to find the truth about himself, and the world around him.
