Following Twilight's ascension, Equestria falls into economic despair, and it's citizens have no one to blame but the Princesses that rule them. When the conflict between the people and their ruler's come to a boil, Celestia calls upon Twilight and her friends to once again save Equestria from this danger.

Without the Elements of Harmony and the daunting number of Equestrians looking to the capitol for any solution, this may not be a crisis that the Royal Sisters and Twilight can come back from.
