Cupcakes: True Friendship

By Sunset Sprinkles

Based off Sergeant Sprinkles’ “Cupcakes”

and Final Gamer and James Corcks’ “Le Petit Four”

DING! The cupcakes were done!

A pink pony with pink fluffy, bouncy hair skipped across the Sugar Cube Corner to a big oven. The delicious smell of vanilla and cream filled the air. The pony slid out a tray that had seven pure white cupcakes with dark purple sprinkles on top.

“Mmm…they smell so yummy!” the pony giggled.

She took one off the tray and bit into it. It was delicious!

“Wow! She tastes soooooo good!”

The pony put the half eaten cupcake back on the tray and trotted across the room to pick something off of a table. She had a generic cone-shaped party hat in her hooves. Except, this party hat seemed very odd. It wasn’t made of paper or plastic.

“Let’s seeee…who am I going to invite next?”

The inside of the hat was filled with little pieces of paper with numbers written on them. She reached in the hat and shuffled all the papers around, mixing them. She stopped and pulled out one of the papers. Closing her eyes, she prayed it would be someone fun. She opened her eyes and looked at the number on the paper. She slowly smiled, a huge, twisted smile.

“Yippie!!” she screeched. “Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh! I’m sosososooo happy!!” The pony jumped up and down and laughed with joy.

“I mean not as happy as I was with Dashie because she was like my bestest best best friend!” she laughed and laughed, almost out of breath. “But at this rate, I’ll have all my friends a part of me forever!”

The pony stopped laughing and jumping all together and put a serious face on. She had work to do.
A yellow Pegasus with light pink hair was in her backyard, feeding the animals she nurtured. She had the cutie mark of three pink butterflies on either side of her flank.

“Come on my little friends.” Fluttershy said in a very hushed and kind tone. “It’s time for lunch.”

She held out a small brown basket filled to the top with carrots out to the hungry baby bunnies. Just when they were about to take some of the carrots, one of them jumped out and snatched the basket from Fluttershy’s hooves.

“Angel!” Fluttershy shouted. “Give those back…please!”

Angel glared at the yellow pony while munching down on a carrot. It seemed as if he was saying “I’m really hungry. Just stop pestering me already!”

Fluttershy sighed. She could never get through to Angel…but that’s not really what was bothering her. Two of her best friends, Rainbow Dash and Rarity, seemed to have gone missing from Ponyville about a week ago. It’s a possibility that Rarity was in Canterlot on a big shopping spree…and maybe Rainbow Dash was just training alone for awhile. Although she tried to fill her head with comforting thoughts, she felt very, very worried for her friends.
She sighed again, walking to her house. She entered the small cottage and went into the living room to lie down on the couch.

SPLAT

“Eeeeeeee…!” The little pony squeaked.

Fluttershy’s head slowly turned to the direction of the noise. Her eyes landed on her window. It was covered in something red and thick. The frightened pony zoomed under the sofa, horrified. After a few minutes of cowering under the couch, she carefully stepped up to the window. The red substance looked strange. Like cherry pie filling. Fluttershy could see some kind of pink square inside of the cherry filling. It was a letter.

Confused, Fluttershy turned over the envelope. The front of the envelope read “To Fluttershy, from Pinkie Pie” written in spontaneous cursive. Fluttershy opened the letter. Confetti and streamers burst out of it and covered her. She gasped, surprised. She stood there for a moment, and then shook her body, letting the party décor fall out of her mane.
She took the paper out of the envelope. It was colored bright pink and had glitter all over.

The letter read:

Dearest, bestest friend, Fluttershy,

I just got the bestest idea ever! Wait, I already said bestest…can you say bestest in a letter twice? Oh no, I said it four times now! Anywaaaays! Like I said before I have really neat idea! I need your help for it, though! Please, please, pleeeease help me! You’re going to love it! I TOTALLY promise it’ll be TOTALLY fun! Meet me at Sugar Cube Corner at 3:00. I’ll get things ready! P.S. Don’t let anypony know you’re coming over! I want it to be a secret! Pinkie promise!

From, your super-duper best friend, Pinkie Pie~

Fluttershy sighed for the third time, but put on a faint smile. It was typical Pinkie. She couldn’t just reject her friend’s invite. She had to go! She needed something to take her mind of Rainbow Dash and Rarity anyway. It was 2:34, she best be going.

Fluttershy walked into Ponyville, making her way to Sugar Cube Corner, when someone stepped in front of her.

“Good afternoon, Fluttershy.” said Twilight Sparkle. “Where are you headed?”

“I’m going-“ Fluttershy stopped. She remembered in Pinkie’s letter not to tell anypony where she was going. “Oh…um…I am…uh…” Fluttershy didn’t want to let one of her best friends down, but she could absolutely not break a Pinkie promise.

Twilight stared at her as she stammered. “Fluttershy, are you alright? Is something bothering you?”

“Oh…um, not really, no…” Fluttershy said quietly.

“Are you sure?” Twilight then remembered something. “Oh! Fluttershy, you’re not worried about Rainbow Dash and Rarity, are you?”

“Um…yes.” Fluttershy nodded softly, half lying to Twilight.

“Don’t worry.” Twilight said, hugging Fluttershy in an attempt to comfort her dear friend. “I’m sure they’re just fine. Promise you won’t worry anymore.”

“Okay, Twilight.” Fluttershy smiled. “I promise.”

“Good.” Twilight let go of her.

“I’ll uh…see you later, Twilight.” She past Twilight and headed off towards Sugar Cube Corner. She felt bad about lying to one of her best friends, but she had to do what Pinkie said. She certainly did not want to break a Pinkie promise.

Twilight stood there for a moment, thinking.

What is that pony up to…?

She decided she would watch where Fluttershy was going. Just to make sure she was okay.

Fluttershy came up to Sugar Cube Corner and knocked on the door. It immediately burst open and out came Pinkie Pie. Fluttershy jumped in surprise.

“Hiya Fluttershy! I’m glad you could make it!” Pinkie shouted. “See, I want you to help me make something reallyreallyreallyreally yummy!”

“Oh…sounds like fun, Pinkie…” said Fluttershy as Pinkie dragged her into the bakery. “But, uh, what are we making exactly…?”

“Cupcakes, you silly filly!” Pinkie exclaimed.

“How will I help? By handing you the ingredients?”

“I guess you could say that.”

Pinkie skipped across the room and picked something off of the front counter. It was a cupcake. It was pure white and had dark purple sprinkles on top. Pinkie pushed the cupcake in front of Fluttershy’s face.

“Here ya go!”

“Uh…I thought we were baking cupcakes…?”

“We are! I just wanted you to try one before we got started!”

“Oh…okay.” Fluttershy took the cupcake and bit into it. The delicious taste of icing and cake batter filled her mouth. “Wow Pinkie Pie! This tastes delicious! What’s it called?”

“Le Petit Four!” Pinkie said happily. “Isn’t it fancy?!”

Fluttershy was taken aback some. “That name reminds me of Rarity…” She said in a hurt voice.

“Well, Rarity helped me make it.”

Fluttershy nearly choked on the cupcake when she heard that.

“W-w-what?!” She said in shock. “You’ve seen Rarity?! Where?!”

“The last time I saw her alive was about a week ago.”

“What about Rainbow Da-“ Fluttershy paused. “What do you mean ‘alive’…?”

Fluttershy’s eyes suddenly felt heavy and her body was shivering, her mind falling off into nothingness. She slowly fell back and hit the floor. The last thing she saw before she completely black out was Pinkie Pie standing over her smiling the most horrifying smile she has ever seen.

Fluttershy woke up in a panic. It was pitch black; she couldn’t see anything, and her whole body ached. She tried to move forward, but was unable. She felt like something was pushing her up against a cold wall by her ankles and fore arms. She could barely move except for her chest and pelvis.

What’s going on? Why can’t I move…?!

Fluttershy then recalled what had happened before she woke up in the darkness. She remembered Pinkie Pie. Pinkie said something about Rarity. That she was alive a week ago. Then Pinkie gave her a…cupcake.

The cupcake!

No…nonononono! This has to be some kind of a joke! Pinkie Pie would never do such a thing to me! I’m her best friend!

Fluttershy started to squeal and kick, trying to escape whatever bind she was in.

As if on cue, a pink blob jumped across the room and flipped a switch. Suddenly, a bright light came on and blinded Fluttershy.

“Wakey wakey, eggs and bakey!” a familiar voice said.

Pinkie Pie was standing on her hind legs, pushing her body against Fluttershy’s for a hug.

“Pinkie…what…?” Fluttershy was still blinded by the light.

“I’m soooo happy you’re awake! I was afraid you’d be out foreeeever!” Pinkie said, her eyes rolling around.

“I…I don’t-“

“Wait!” Pinkie said, cutting Fluttershy short. “I completely forgot! Be right back!”

The pink pony turned and bounced out of the room.

Fluttershy’s eyes finally began to focus. She looked around the room she was in and gasped loudly at the horrors she saw before her.

The room was filled with twisted Pinkie-like decorations. Brightly colored streamers of dried entrails danced across the ceiling. Painted pony skulls of various colors and sizes were attached to the walls, and organs done up in pastels filled with helium were tied to the backs of chairs. The tables and chairs were constructed of different bones and the flesh of ponies. Fluttershy was on the brink of tears as she looked and saw the center piece of the table closest to her. The heads of four foals, their eyes closed tight as if they were taking a mere nap, were wearing party hats made from their own skin, and there was a patchwork banner hanging from the rafters made from several tanned pony hides. The phrase “Life is a party” were scrawled out on it in crimson red.

What made Fluttershy’s heart really pound was what was in the center of the room.

A familiar cyan pegasus pony with a bright, but slightly faded rainbow mane was hanging by a rope tightly strung around her neck from the rafters on the ceiling. The pony’s cutie marks were missing and so were her eyes and wings. Stitches were sown in an ‘I’ shape across her chest going down to her groin. Her face was contorted into an everlasting smile. Below her was a small plastic swimming pool filled with blood, rubber duckies, and toy sailboats. From the look of the sides of the pool, it seemed someone had been splashing around in it.

Fluttershy could not take it. She began to throw up all over herself, her clean yellow coat now covered in stomach acid and chunks of the food she had early that day. She then shifted her eyes beside the pool and the hanging pony decoration. She wish hadn’t.

Beside the pool was a pure white pony. She appeared to have been a unicorn, yet her horn was missing. It looked as if her horn had been cut off. Her mane and tail were missing from her beautiful skin and she was completely bald. She was also missing her cutie marks and eyes. Her eyes now filled with powder puffs and the outside rims of the holes were colored with eyeliner. She too had a permanent smile on her face.

These ponies, sitting and hanging before her, were no doubt her missing best friends.

Rainbow Dash and Rarity.

Tears flowed out of Fluttershy’s eyes endlessly. Her friends, her best friends, were in front of her, dead.
“R-Rainbow Dash…R-Rarity…why…?” she said, painfully. “What is going on…?”

She screamed loudly over and over. Maybe, just maybe there was a pony out there that could save her. She screamed consistently for about three minutes before hanging her head down in exhaustion. She just couldn’t stop crying. Her body was now soaked in tears and her own hot regurgitation.

Her loud crying was cut off by Pinkie Pie hopping into the room. Fluttershy heard clanking coming from where Pinkie was. She slowly lifted her head up and saw what Pinkie was dressed in.

She was wearing a dress quilted from dried skin, emblazoned with cutie marks. On her back fluttered a numerous amount of pegasus wings, all of various colors and shades. As the pony skipped in excitement, her necklace of severed unicorn horns clacked together loudly. Fluttershy recognized four of the cutie marks on the dress to be Rainbow Dash and Rarity’s.

“Don’t you just LOVE it?” The pink pony looked down on her dress in admiration “It took me a little while to make, but it was totally worth it!”

Fluttershy was paralyzed with fear. She didn’t understand. Was this some kind of sick joke?

“Pinkie Pie, why am I tied up?” She started to tear up again. “What are you going to do to me? And why did you do this?! To our best friends?!”

“Uh, DUH. Their numbers came up! Just like yours!” the earth pony gleefully poked the pegasus in the stomach. “I don’t make the rules, it’s just my duty!”

“But…what are you going to do to me?”

“UHHH!” Pinkie pulled her head back in a dramatic fashion. “Do I have to tell you again?! We’re making cupcakes! How else would I make them? Gosh, Fluttershy. Sometimes you say the silliest things.”

A sudden realization came over Fluttershy. This whole entire time, Pinkie had been feeding ponies…other ponies. Fluttershy began to dry heave; she had nothing left to throw up.

Pinkie smiled at her friend in the dim light, her smile showing all of her perfect white teeth.

“But don’t worry!” Pinkie said, patting Fluttershy’s head with her hoof. “I’ll try to make our time together as long as possibly can! It’ll be just like a party! We’re going to have sooo much fun!”

The pony bounded out of the light into a corner of the room, hidden by the small light bulb that hung over Fluttershy. She came back pushing a cart with a dark tarp over it. She pushed it beside the board Fluttershy was bound to. Grabbing the tarp in her teeth, she then proceeded to pull it off of the cart, revealing what was hidden underneath.
Fluttershy’s eyes widened with fear.

On the metal table laid dozens upon dozens of medical tools, different knives, hammers, foot-long nails, and a large hack saw.

Fluttershy began to panic again. Her heart pounded so hard it hurt.

Fluttershy began to speak, but she could barely make out the words. “P-Pinkie Pie…no…why are you doing this…?”

The grinning pink pony ignored her completely and picked a scalpel off the table. Moving over to Fluttershy’s side, she started getting to work. She began to dig the scalpel into Fluttershy’s flank, beside her cutie mark and made a circle around it. Fluttershy could feel each individual nerve and vein pluck and tear. She started thrashing about, but to no avail. Pinkie giggled as she peeled off the circle of skin, revealing the inside of Fluttershy’s flank. Fluttershy shifted her eyes down to the spot where Pinkie Pie had been cutting. She could see her insides. Blood was pouring out of the open circle and her veins were convulsing, spurting out the blood that used to fill them. Pinkie tossed the flap of skin into a bucket beside the table. Fluttershy began to pass out. She was extremely weak. She could not handle any type of pain, let alone her skin being cut open.

“UGH! REALLY?!” Pinkie frowned in disappointment. “You really ARE weak! I’ll just have to fix that!”

Pinkie stepped up to the cart and took a large vaccination needle off of it.

“Say hello to my little friend.” Pinkie said in a deep, colt-like voice. She then shoved the needle directly into Fluttershy’s heart.

Fluttershy immediately woke up with a jolt. Her heart was pounding again and she felt full of energy and pain.

“Okey dokey! Back to work!”

She moved over to Fluttershy’s other side and did the same thing she had done for the other. Fluttershy once again screeched in pain.

“You should really stop screaming like that.” Pinkie said, sounding slightly annoyed. “These walls are SUPER sound-proof! Nooopony can hear anything coming from inside here! Neato, huh?!”

Pinkie removed other flap of skin and tossed it into the bucket.

“But you’re doing a lot better than I thought, Fluttershy!” Pinkie jumped up to Fluttershy and hugged her. “Our party together is going to last such a long time! I’m soooooo happy!”

Fluttershy chocked under Pinkie’s hug and flapped her wings violently, causing one of her wings to slap Pinkie in the muzzle. Pinkie opened her eyes and looked at Fluttershy with tears in her eyes.

“Owie! How could you do that, Fluttershy?” She looked down at her as if she hurt her horribly. “We’ll have to get rid of those pretty little wings of yours! Party rules!”

She put the scalpel down on the table and picked the hack saw up.

“Y’know, I said the same thing to Dashie, but why do they call it a hack saw?” Pinkie held up the saw. “I mean it doesn’t hack! It saws! Whoever invented it must be a pretty silly pony! Anyways, time to get rid of those wings. They’re causing complications with our party!”

Fluttershy’s eyes widened with fear again as Pinkie walked up to her with the saw in hoof.

“Pinkie Pie! Please!” Her eyes began to well up and tears flowed. “Please stop! I won’t tell anypony! I Pinkie prom-“

Fluttershy was cut off by Pinkie grabbing her left wing and slamming the saw down on the bone of it. She began to move the saw back and forth, slowly the wing’s skin opened up. It sliced through the bone and she snatched the tip of the wing, ripping it to shreds, and blood spurted out of Fluttershy’s side.

Fluttershy screamed in anguish. The pink party pony merely laughed and put the severed wing down on the blood and throw up covered floor.

“Wow Fluttershy! You’re such a screamer!” Pinkie could not stop giggling. “Are you having as much fun as I am?”
Fluttershy simply hung her head down and let her tears fall down and splash onto the floor.

“Oh come on!” Pinkie looked at Fluttershy with genuine sympathy. “We can’t have any saddy mc sad faces at this party!” She grabbed Fluttershy’s right wing and did the same to it as she did to the left, and tossed it next to the other wing.

Fluttershy once again just hung her head down and began to shake uncontrollably.

“Fluttershy you sure shake a lot! Pinkie gasped. “They shouldn’t call you Fluttershy! They should call you…Shuddershy!” She fell back onto the floor and rolled around in Fluttershy’s blood, laughing hard at her comical genius.

The once-was pegasus looked down at Pinkie with her aching red eyes.

“Fluttershy it’s okay! You look a lot better without your wings!” Pinkie sat up and looked at her. “I mean, you really were meant to be an earth pony! Like me!” Pinkie got up on two hooves in a valiant pose “Earth ponies are best ponies!” She then changed to a deeper voice. “Welcome Noble Fluttershy, to the awesome race known as…The Earth Ponies!”

The now earth pony just stared at the amazing pink earth pony. She could not stop crying.

“Y’know Fluttershy, I hope I’m not a meanie pants for saying this, but…” Pinkie walked towards Fluttershy. “I always thought you were kind of a cutie when you cry!”

Pinkie stood up on her hind legs and grabbed Fluttershy’s face with her fore hooves. Fluttershy could smell Pinkie’s hot breath blowing on her face. It smelt like cotton candy and popcorn. She stared into Pinkie’s eyes, her bright blue eyes. Suddenly, Pinkie pushed forward and pressed her lips against Fluttershy’s. Pinkie opened her mouth and slipped her tongue into Fluttershy’s mouth. Fluttershy could feel Pinkie’s sopping wet tongue in her mouth, exploring each and every corner. Saliva dribbled out of their connected muzzles and ran down Fluttershy’s chin. Fluttershy’s eyes were wide open and she couldn’t help but blush; her face was bright red. Pinkie’s tongue stopped and she lunged forward. She clamped her teeth down on Fluttershy’s tongue and bit down hard.

Pinkie pulled back and tore Fluttershy’s tongue clean off, laughing with glee.

Blood shot out of Fluttershy’s throat like a fountain. It overflowed out of her mouth and spilled all over her chest and down her body. She screamed extremely loud from the sudden massive amount of pain she felt, but it all came out as a loud gurgle, which caused even more blood to pour out. She passed out soon after.

Fluttershy woke up with a gasp. Her mouth was filled with semi-dried blood and her body was covered with it. The back of her throat like someone had lit a fire in it. She looked around the room, slowly tilting her head around. Pinkie Pie was nowhere to be seen…

Pinkie Pie!

She just remembered! Pinkie Pie was a monster!

How could Pinkie do this…? Is this all a nightmare…? She’s my best friend…

Fluttershy hung, crying and thinking of the terrifying recent events. A few minutes later she came to a decision. That evil disgusting monster wasn’t in sight and the door was wide open. This was her chance to escape.

She silently wriggled around her legs and fore hooves. She managed to slip her right leg out and also her right fore hoof. She tossed her body to the left side of the board, wincing at the sudden flare of pain in her sides, she latched onto the upper left vice that was around her other hoof with her teeth.

She bit down on the vice and began scraping her teeth back and forth. Something about this material seemed familiar to her. It was sky blue and kind of furry.

Then it hit her.

It was Rainbow Dash’s skin. Her teeth just broke the last thick string of skin when she gasped and fell forward, her face slammed against the ground with a crack. She blacked out for a few moments, and when she came to she realized she landed in her blood and throw up on the cold hard floor. She also noticed several of her teeth broke, but luckily her jaw didn’t. She rubbed her jaw and spit out the broken, blood covered teeth. Her left leg was still latched onto the board by the skin. When she got it out, she collapsed into the puddle of body fluids and laid there for a moment. She turned over onto her side then onto her stomach, planted her hooves on the ground and pushed up. The pain in her legs instantly came back and she wobbled unsteadily. She finally managed to get on her all four hooves and whipped her blood soaked mane onto her back, out of her face. As she took her first step towards the door, her whole body flared up with pain, her muscles and nerves burning up. She felt as if she was engulfed in fire. She gasped at this terrible feeling, but tried her best to ignore it. Looking up at the suspended Rainbow Dash and looking over at the limp Rarity, she vowed to them she would avenge them. She cringed at the thought of Pinkie being sentenced to death, but if that was the only way, so be it.

She walked through the threshold and lifted her right fore hoof onto the first step. Lifting her head up, she could see the door at the top of the staircase. She could even make out the faint light illuminating from the side cracks. Her heart filled with hope. She could finally escape.

She felt so excited; she couldn’t hold it in any longer. She started rushing up the stairs. The door came closer and closer.

I’m so close! I’m going to make it! I’m going to make it!

She felt her mouth grow on her face into a smile. It felt like such a long time since she smiled or felt happiness. Her eyes began to water as the air rushed in her face, and the tears flew back behind her. She could finally see all her friends and animals again.

At last she got up to the door and opened it. The sweet smell of baked pastry’s filled her nostrils and bright light blinded her. As her eyes began top focus, she realized she was inside Sugar Cube Corner. She could not believe such a horrible room had been under the amazing bakery this whole entire time. Moving her eyes to the windows, she could see outside the bakery. She saw Ponyville. All the ponies that lived in it walked around calmly and moving on with their lives, completely unaware of Fluttershy’s epidemic.

She put one hoof onto the green and white tiled floor, the relieved grin still on her face.

I did it! Now I just need to-

Suddenly two pink hooves flashed across her field of vision and smashed into her muzzle.

“I KNEW IT!” yelled a voice that was all too familiar.

Fluttershy struggled and managed to break away one of the hooves from her muzzle.

“SOMEPONY! ANYPONY! HELP ME!” Fluttershy screamed at the top of her lungs.

“DAMN IT!” Pinkie Pie grabbed Fluttershy and threw her down the staircase and slammed the door shut.

Fluttershy fell down the hard wood stairs, her body flailing in all directions, her nerves and muscles burning up again. Every single hit against the stairs was a hit of pain like someone was repeatedly beating her. She finally hit the cold basement floor. Being unable to move what so ever, she just laid there, groaning and whimpering in pain. Pinkie hopped down the stairs and landed beside her; she had an angry look on her face.

“Why would you try to leave, Fluttershy?!” The pink monstrosity lifted her up and started carrying her across the room, over to the board. “I was over in the corner of the room, playing cards myself, waiting for you to wake up. I saw you trying to get out, but I said to myself ‘Nah, Fluttershy’s my best friend! She’d NEVER leave our party! But I was wrong! Explain yourself missy!”

Fluttershy began cry again. She just couldn’t take it anymore. She let out a loud gurgle, allowing Pinkie to carry her to the board.

“What’s wrong? Pony got your tongue?” Pinkie began laughing. “Oh, that’s right, I do! In my tummy! It was really good too! Thanks for the snack!”

She laid Fluttershy down on the floor in front of the board, once again being put in her own body fluids.

“So what did ya think about that kiss, huh?” The insane monster said with a care-free giggle. “Reeeally good, right? I am party pony after all! So, like, I always thought Dashie was sooo pretty. I was always too afraid to say anything though. But you’re adorable too. So I’m fine!”

A feeling began to erupt within Fluttershy. She looked up at Pinkie with confusion. She got up on all four hooves and pushed her nose against Pinkie’s. A new feeling came to her: hate.

“SO YOU CAN MURDER HUNDREDS OF INOCCENT PONIES, BUT YOU’RE TOO AFRIAD TO TELL RAINBOW DASH HOW YOU FEEL?!”

The pink pony just started laughing right in Fluttershy’s red face. She suddenly whipped out a vaccination needle from her dress. It was similar to the adrenaline one, but much smaller. Pinkie shoved it into Fluttershy’s side and she immediately collapsed.

“If the only way to keep you from breaking party rules is to introduce you to Mr. Sleepy-Body, so be it.”

“Now les’ see here…” Pinkie trotted up to the board and pulled a lever that made it lower down to the ground of the wall in the form of a table. “It’s much easier to harvest on a table than a wall!” She walked to Fluttershy and put her head down on her head and nuzzled her. “I’m so sad! This is the last game in our super-spectacular-super-amazing-super-duper-party!” She frowned, sounding genuinely sad. “So let’s make the best of it, right best friend?!” Pinkie hopped up back on her hooves and picked Fluttershy up and laid her out on the table, spreading her legs and fore hooves out in an ‘x’.

Fluttershy still couldn’t move. She could only lie there. She could not even cry. Her eyes were planted on the ceiling and she was unaware of what Pinkie was doing.

Pinkie bounced up to the metal table of retched instruments and picked up the tray of nails and the large hammer.

“I used these nails on Dashie to ZAAAP her.” Pinkie shook her body around as if she was being electrocuted. “But I’m only using them on you to hold you down so you won’t be rude and try to leave our party again!”

She moved up to Fluttershy’s top left hoof and placed a nail on it. With her hoof, she raised the hammer high in the air.

Fluttershy instantly came to her senses and gasped at the sight of the hammer. “NO! PLEASE! DON’T!”

Pinkie brought the hammer down at high speed and slammed it down on the nail with a loud bang. The one-foot nail shot through the hoof and through the board. Blood spurted out of the sides of the hole and Fluttershy screamed.

“Geez, it’s okay!” Pinkie smiled down at Fluttershy. “These nails are stainless steel, so don’t worry about rustin’ them up!”

Pinkie hopped over to the bottom left hoof and placed a nail on it.

“P-Pinkie…please…” Fluttershy gasped.

“Y’know, I’ve been wondering…” Pinkie said with a curious expression on her face. “How are you talking if your tongue is gone? I guess the writer is too lazy to make the story too logical.”

Fluttershy had no idea what the insane pony was talking about.

“Anywaaay!” Pinkie said, snapping back out of the fourth wall. “Back to our game!”

She lifted up the hammer and slammed it down on the nail, once again causing blood to shoot out and Fluttershy to scream in agony. Pinkie did the same to the two last hooves and received the same results.

“Okey dokey! All done!” Pinkie tossed the tray of nails and the hammer onto the metal table. “Now it’s time for the main event! I’m sososososo excited! Are you excited?! Cuz I’m excited! In fact, I’m so excited I made a song just for you!”
Seemingly out of nowhere, music started playing, yet there were no music boxes or speakers in the room. Pinkie grabbed the giant kitchen knife from the medical table and began dancing.

This is my special kitchen knife

I hope it cuts you well!

You’re invited to a harvest

Cuz I think you’re really swell!

You’re number came up

So help us celebrate!

The blood will be delicious

The intestines first-rate!

There will be games and cutting

Bob for chunks, cut a hoof!

And when the party’s all over,

Ponies will gather around to eat you up!

No need to bring a gift

Being there will be enough

Harvests mean tearing up friends

Not getting lots of stuff!

I won’t get the ingredients without you

So I hope that you say yes

So please, oh please, come and be my very special guest!

The music stopped and she lunged forward and shoved the knife into Fluttershy’s stomach. Fluttershy’s body pushed upright as she screeched. Blood and stomach acid splashed out of the hole and flowed out onto the table, coating her body in the process. Pinkie slowly streaked the knife down her chest to her groin and turned left then right. Pulling the knife out and putting it back into the center, she did the same to the top area of the body then took the knife out and tossed it to the side. She grabbed the two flaps she created and spread the apart, all of Fluttershy’s insides revealed. With all her organs and intestines convulsing and pumping, Pinkie knew she was going to make some good cupcakes.

“Wow Fluttershy!” Pinkie stared down at Fluttershy’s insides with amazement. “Your organs look great! But a little too ORGANized if you ask me! We’ll just have to fix that!”

Fluttershy just stared at the ceiling with a blank expression. She didn’t know what to feel anymore. All she wanted was everything to go back to normal. She wanted this all to be just some nightmare that she would awake from any minute. She wanted to see Angle; and all of her animals again. But most of all, she wanted to see her best friends, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Twilight, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie again. The real Pinkie Pie. This…this was not Pinkie Pie. This pink monstrosity that caused her and so many ponies before her so much pain and agony was not Pinkie Pie. She wanted back the real Pinkie Pie. The Pinkie Pie who would cheer up everypony with her silliness and laughter. The Pinkie Pie she knew and loved dear to her heart. The Pinkie Pie who-

Fluttershy snapped back to reality as she felt something tear out of her body. She looked up and saw that Pinkie had her liver in her hooves. Pinkie tossed it in the bucket.

“You see, I usually use most of the goodies for making the cupcakes.” Pinkie said as she continued to rip organs out of Fluttershy. “I give the small scraps to Gummy. He loooves pony! That’s probably why he’s always trying to bite ‘em!”

She continued to take out organs until Fluttershy had just vitals remaining.

“Awww!” Pinkie wined. “It looks like our party’s just about over. Did you have a really good time? I know I did! I just wished it could have lasted a teensy bit longer!”

Fluttershy looked Pinkie in the eyes.

“Pinkie Pie…I thought you loved me…I thought we were best friends…”

Pinkie tilted her head in confusion, but smiled. “Well of course we’re friends, silly filly!”

“Then why…? Why did you do this…? To me, to Rarity, to Rainbow Dash…why?”

“I can’t explain why, Fluttershy. It’s just my duty to make the most delicious cupcakes I can make! And what better way to do that than with friends?!”

That was it. Fluttershy was never getting the old Pinkie Pie back. She’ll never see her ever again.

“Well Fluttershy, the party’s over! I had lots of fun! And I’ll make sure to put you right next to Dashie and Rarity! Pinkie promise!”

Fluttershy laid her head back and Pinkie put her hoof on Fluttershy’s heart as she put her muzzle next to Fluttershy’s ear.

“Goodnight…best friend.”

Fluttershy felt Pinkie rip out her heart. Her eyes grew heavy and a rush went through her body. Slowly, her eyes closed shut and she was cast into a deep, eternal slumber.

Twilight Sparkle burst through the door of Sugar Cube Corner despite the “We’re closed.” sign. She recognized the familiar scent of baked goods. Ignoring that, she moved her eyes around the room.

“Pinkie Pie? Fluttershy?” She called out. “I heard shouting in here. Is everything okay? Hello…?”

Her eyes locked onto a white wooden door in the back of the shop. There was some kind red liquid on the floor in front of it. She quickly trotted up to the red substance.

B-Blood?! Oh no…did some monster come in here and hurt Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie?!

She grabbed the doorknob and opened the door. There were wooden stairs leading down into complete darkness.

Twilight gulped. “…F-Fluttershy…? Pinkie Pie…?”

She took a step and began walking down the pitch black staircase.

About halfway down the stairs, the light coming from the doorway was barely visible and she was walking down into pitch black darkness.

“Girls…? Are you okay…? Please answer me...”

This whole thing was really creeping Twilight out. Not being able to see anything really frightened her.

“Oh wait, of course!” She exclaimed as she used her magic to eliminate a small light from her horn and performing a facehoof to herself. She realized she reached the bottom of the stairs. A sudden revolting smell filled her nostrils.

“Oh my Celestia!” She groaned, putting a hoof to her nose. “What is that stench?!”

Trying her best to ignore the smell, she continued to move forward.

“Hello? Is anypony here? Fluttershy? Pinkie- GAH!”

Suddenly, she tripped over something and fell forward; landing in a puddle and her light went out.

“Ugh! Yuck!” She yelled, contorting her face into a look of disgust. “What is this stuff?!” She leaned down and sniffed the floor. It smelt strongly like iron.

“I-It can’t be…” She whispered.

A sudden sound was made behind her. Jumping up to her hooves, she whipped around and used the light spell while preparing a combat spell. She was relieved at what she saw.

Pinkie Pie’s face was floating in front of her, a gigantic grin on her face.

“Pinkie! Oh, you scared me. I heard shouting coming from inside here and I was afraid you and Fluttershy were in trouble. Fluttershy is okay, right? There were spots of blood on the floor upstairs.”

Oh, Fluttershy’s TOTALLY fine! She’s just taking a nap!”

“I see.” Twilight was still confused. “But…what about the blood…and why is it so dark in here?”

“Twi, you’re such a worry wart! Everything’s okey dokey lokey!”

“Uh…okay. I guess you’re-“

Twilight’s eyes widened when she looked down and saw what Pinkie was holding in her right hoof.

It was a large kitchen knife covered in blood.

“P-Pinkie…why do you have that…?”

“Silly Twi, always the bookworm. Asking questions all the time like some curious little filly!” She lifted the knife into the air and quickly brought it down towards Twilight.
